Description: Seras Victoria vs. Lucy. Two supernatural creatures who prey on humans and have a bloodthirsty nature.
Introduction[]
Wiz: In most cases, humans are found at the top of the food chain, but sometimes creatures come along that knock them to the very bottom.
Boomstick: Like these two lethal ladies, who prove that Hell truly hath no fury like a woman… Yeah, like a woman.
Wiz: Seras, the sole fledgling to the vampire Alucard.
Boomstick: And Lucy, the queen of the Diclonius. He’s Wiz, and I’m Boomstick.
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, powers, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Seras Victoria[]
Wiz: To serve and protect. That is the duty of those who take up the badge and gun when they join the force.
Boomstick: Which brings us to everyone’s favorite vampire cop, Police Girl!
Wiz: That was just her nickname. Her real name is Seras Victoria.
Boomstick: Whatever. I’m calling her Police Girl.
Wiz: When Seras was just a child, she went through a truly traumatic experience that would shape the rest of her life.
Boomstick: Meaning she had her parents killed right in front of her, stabbed one of them in the eye in retaliation, got shot for her troubles, and then had to watch as the same killer violated her mother’s still fresh corpse before she was left for dead… That is all levels of messed up. I’ve heard some pretty dark backstories before but… damn.
Wiz: Despite undergoing this horrific experience, Seras survived, and became determine to protect others from going through such terrible experiences.
Boomstick: But then she got herself shot again, turned into a vampire, and became employed by the monster hunting Hellsing Organization. Geez, this girl can’t catch a break.

Wiz: The vampire who both shot and turned Seras was actually the vampire Alucard, the strongest of Hellsing’s agents. They’re an organization that fights against the evils of the world, particularly vampires. Ironically, their top agent is actually none other than–
Boomstick: Count freakin’ Dracula himself! Boom! Bet you never saw that coming.
Wiz: Unless you realizes that it’s actually Alucard’s name backwards. Or vice versa.
Boomstick: Pfft. Please, Wiz, as if anyone actually paid attention to that little detail. They were too busy watching Alucard being a total boss.
Wiz: As the sole fledgling of Alucard, or Dracula, he took Seras under his wing, teaching her to fight the types of monsters Hellsing was known for hunting down. And she actually took to it pretty well.
Boomstick: Of course she did! She’s the badass vampire offspring of the most badass vampire to ever vampire!

Wiz: With her newfound vampire nature, Seras developed several new abilities, such as superhuman speed, strength, and senses.
Boomstick: Not to mention the most awesome gun in history. Ha, look at me calling that thing a gun. That thing’s a freakin’ cannon! And we all know how chicks feel about cannons. Loooove ‘em.
Wiz: The Harkonnen is Seras’ most iconic weapon, and she’s used it and different models of it to take down whole waves of armored ghouls and vampires, and even destroying whole zeppelins. We later see her wielding even greater weapons with ease, such as an 88 mm Flak 41 anti-aircraft and anti-tank artillery gun.
Boomstick: Hell yeah! She tore that sucker right out of the zeppelin like it was nothing, and that bad boy’s gotta weigh at least 7 tons. Now that’s power. And get this, Seras is still just a baby vampire. Well, sort of.
Wiz: Despite being turned, Seras was only just a fledgling, and would remain so until she truly drank blood for the first time, which was not something that she wanted to do, not even at Alucard’s insistence when she was almost killed by Father Alexander Anderson after being stabbed by multiple holy blades.
Boomstick: Yeah, to be honest, Seras really is kind of soft for a vampire, and very reluctant to accept that part of herself.
Wiz: Part of this was due to both her fear and refusal to give up what remained of her humanity, as she felt that she would lose it if she became a true vampire. However, after being blinded, losing an arm, and getting stabbed by a scythe, she finally gave in and drank the blood of Pip Bernadotte, a mercenary for hire who had developed quite the crush on her, after he offered her his blood. And upon feeding off him, Seras became a full-fledged vampire, gaining all the abilities that a true vampire possesses.
Boomstick: Which also healed up most of the injuries she had sustained, like that hole in her back, and even regenerating her eyes. It didn’t seem to be enough for her to grow back the arm she lost though, but who cares, because she was able to use this weird dark energy shadow thing of hers that she could shape into a new arm, or use as wings to fly, or use as these stabby tentacle-like things. Yeah, I’m not really sure what that was supposed to be. All I know is, it made Police Girl even more badass than before.
Wiz: Seras actually gained more than full access to her vampire powers by drinking blood. You see, in the Hellsing series, when a vampire bites a human, the victim becomes a vampire fledgling if they’re a virgin, and if they’re not, they become mindless ghouls, or zombies if you will. But if they completely drain a victim’s life when feeding on them, they actually familiarize them. This involves absorbing their prey’s very soul into their being, and having their will dominate them. Not only does this give the vampire access to their familiars’ powers, abilities, and even memories, they can also summon them forth as a kind of puppet to fight for or with them.
Boomstick: Pip and Police Girl were a unique case though. Because he gave his consent for her to drink his blood, his consciousness remained completely intact, so he kept his individuality. So Seras basically gained a permanent imaginary friend who could help her in battle.
Wiz: More than that actually. When a vampire takes in a new familiar, they gain the life of that person. So if someone actually managed to deliver a killing blow to a vampire, such as piercing their heart, it will be one of the vampire’s familiars, not the vampire itself, who will die.
Boomstick: Which is what made Alucard so freakin’ unstoppable, because he fed off of a couple million people over the past few hundred years, so he had a whole bunch of extra lives in reserve. And now Police Girl had her first 1-Up and was well on her way of beginning her own collection of familiars.
Wiz: Well, not necessarily. Despite feeding off Pip, Seras still doesn’t seem to be willing to feed off of others, and instead opts to preserve her strength by sleeping in a coffin filled with the soil of her birth land.
Boomstick: I mean, whatever works, I guess. Seras still remained a kick-ass vampire, not to mention she shattered the illusion of Millennium’s First Lieutenant, Zorin Blitz, before utterly massacring her in one of the most awesome and satisfying moments in anime history! Now that is how you take out a baddie!
- Feats
- Slaughtered an army of ghouls with her bare hands
- Immobilized the vampire assassin, Jan Valentine
- Incapacitated Pip Bernadotte with one finger
- Easily dodged bullets
- Fired and landed shots over 5,600 meters away
- Damaged and destroyed several zeppelin battleships
- Killed Millennium’s vampire First Lieutenant, Zorin Blitz
- Killed Millennium’s werewolf Captain
- Lifted and threw a large missile with one hand
- Tore vampires apart with her bare hands
- Broke through Zorin’s illusion
- Survived numerous impalements and dismemberments
- Took down an army of vampires
- Easily lifted a 7 ton Flak 41 cannon
Wiz: With Pip’s encouragement, Seras was even able to take out Millennium’s Captain, who it turns out was actually a werewolf. A Nazi werewolf in London to be exact. Am I right?
Boomstick: Yeah, nice try, Wiz, but I know that you totally stole that joke from Team Four Star’s abridged version of the series.
Wiz: What? No, I… I haven’t even seen it… The abridged version I mean.
Boomstick: Mmm, hmm.
Wiz: *Cough* Anyway, Seras even went on to assist Integra in taking out the leader of Millennium after Alucard disappeared.
Boomstick: By tearing a freakin’ cannon out of the Major’s war zeppelin and blasting the guy… Who it turns out was a robot or something. Yeah, it’s never really explained. In fact, a lot of things in the series aren’t explained.
Wiz: With Alucard out of the picture, Seras became Hellsing’s new top agent for the next 30 years until Alucard returned, using her “shadow” to protect Integra’s new mansion. Not even the Vatican and their special soldiers of vampire hunters dared to touch Hellsing with Seras there to protect it, which really says a lot in terms of how powerful Seras had become.
Boomstick: Alucard’s little Police Girl has grown so much, Wiz. In so many ways.
Wiz: Uch, I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist commenting on her chest size.
Boomstick: How could I not? That bust size don’t lie, and neither do I.
Lucy[]
Wiz: Evolution, mutation, genetic anomaly, virus alteration. These are all possible ways to bring humanity to the next stage of life, or to replace it entirely.
Boomstick: And here we have a prime example in the form of the Diclonius.
Wiz: Diclonii, Boomstick, that’s the plural form for Diclonius. This is the name given to a subspecies of human, a mostly female species, whose sole purpose seems to be to replace the human race, either by converting it, or wiping it out. Or both really.
Boomstick: Unless someone’s cosplaying, you’ll know one if you see one. They all have pink hair, red, eyes, pale skin, and horns on their heads that kind of look like cat ears. Yeah, they may look cute, but these babes are more even worse than my ex-wife.
Wiz: And the queen of this species is none other than Lucy, the most powerful of her entire race.
- Background
- Age: 15 (manga), 18 (anime)
- Height. Approx. 5’4
- Weight: 108 lbs.
- Race: Diclonius
- Real name: Kaede
- Queen of the Diclonii species
- Grew up in orphanage after being abandoned by her parents
- Faced harassment, bullying, and torturous experiments for years
- Developed the split personalities of Nyu and DNA Voice
- In love with Kouta
Boomstick: Just be sure to stay on her good side, she might only infect you with the Diclonius virus instead of slicing you apart.
Wiz: As the queen of her species, Lucy is genetically programmed to infect as many men as possible with the, for lack of a better word, virus that causes them to have Diclonii offspring. This is done by touching males with her vectors, which are essentially invisible psychokinetic arms that manifest out of her back.
Boomstick: Trust me, fellas, Lucy may be hot, but you do not want her to touch you with one of those in any way. Just one touch of those things and any kids you plan on having ain’t gonna be quite human. And again, that’s the best-case scenario.
Wiz: While the primary functions for these vectors, does seem to be for infecting others the Diclonius virus, they can, and often are, used in various other ways. They can be used to lift incredibly heavy objects, used as, arguably, impenetrable barriers, or even slice things to pieces, including other people.
Boomstick: Whether they’re used to infect others or used to cut them to pieces, those vectors are always used to bring the human race one step closer to extinction.
Wiz: Well, that does seem to be the Diclonii’s primary function, and is something we’ve seen countless times in evolution. The newer more evolved version of a species takes over while the older and less evolved species dies out. So, in a way, Diclonii could simply be seen as the next step in human evolution, with Lucy acting as the queen who’s genetically programmed to infect as many people as she can to create as many Diclonii as possible.
Boomstick: And with the crappy life she led thanks to humans, they certainly didn’t give her any reason to not want to get rid of them. She actually ends up with a pretty massive kill count that, saying it with me now, “is over 9,000!”
Wiz: Abandoned by her parents, growing up in an orphanage where she faced horrible harassment and bullying on a daily basis, Lucy’s life as a child was not an easy one. The other kids there took every opportunity to abuse her in some really twisted ways.
Boomstick: That is, until the day her Diclonius nature awakened and she slaughtered the brats who decided to beat her puppy to death in front of her. Damn, and I thought Cruella DeVil was bad. To be honest, I would have killed the little bastards too… Whoa, I just promoted the killing of children. That is messed up.
Wiz: Forced to go on the run, Lucy moved from place to place for the next four years. Eventually though, the secret Diclonius Research Institute realized what she was, and began following her bloody trail. This Institute had been capturing and performing horrific and torturous experiments on Diclonii for years for the purpose of stopping them, even encouraging new parents that have Diclonius children to murder them at birth, if not doing it themselves if the parents are unwilling.
Boomstick: Yeah, like I said, humanity hasn’t really given Lucy any reason not to wipe them out and replace them with the new, superior Diclonius race.
Wiz: Well, that’s not exactly true. While on the run, Lucy did manage to make friends with a human girl named Aiko, who, unfortunately was fatally wounded as she and Lucy fled from the Institute. Lucy surrendered to them as long as they promised to save Aiko’s life, a promise the General Director, Kurama, was unable to fulfill.
Boomstick: So Lucy swore horrible vengeance upon him and the rest of the Institute.
Wiz: After years of seriously messed up torture and experiments performed on her to test her power, endurance, and to find her weaknesses, Lucy managed to escape, and so began her bloody vengeance.
- Powers and Abilities
- 4-28 invisible vectors ranging from 7 feet to a mile long
- Super speed and strength (with her vectors)
- Fast and enhanced healing
- Diclonius instincts
- High tolerance for pain
- High durability
- Possibly impregnable barriers (with vectors)
- Diclonius virus infection
- Creating explosions (with vectors)
- Levitation/flight/launching (with vectors)
- Can cut through almost anything (with vectors)
Boomstick: And boy was it bloody. Lucy sliced apart everyone in her path, and blocked everything they threw at her thanks to her vectors. It didn’t matter what they used, those invisible arms of hers were like weapons of mass destruction.
Wiz: That’s no exaggeration either. With her vectors, Lucy is able to pick up objects and launch them through the air like speeding bullets, even one time sending a pen straight through someone’s head. She’s even seen easily lifting up 75-ton boulder and tossing it through the air.
Boomstick: Man, forget picking up and tossing around things or even slicing people apart, let’s get to the big guns. Like the time she punched through and sank an entire island, or caused a 9.2 earthquake. She’s destroyed whole buildings, battleships, and even created a blast that created a 100-foot tidal wave. Now that’s some pretty extensive damage.
Wiz: Perhaps Lucy’s biggest display of power was the time she created an explosion as large and as powerful as a nuclear blast. That’s the equivalent of 31,000 tons of TNT, reaching temperatures of 180,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
Boomstick: Even if she doesn’t get all explosive, if you think you can get away from her vectors, you’re dreaming. There was this one time where she grabbed a bullet fired at her at point blank range, and she managed to pull it out of her body before it hit her heart.
Wiz: This would require her vectors to move at speeds of nearly 19,000 miles per hour, catching the bullet in approximately 0.0006 seconds, and this isn’t even seen to be their top speed. At their fastest, her vectors have been seen moving around 440,000 miles per hour. That’s over 578 times the speed of sound.
Boomstick: But those killer arms ain’t just for attacking, they can also be used for defense. And we’ve seen Lucy take on some pretty heavy hits and not even flinch.
Wiz: By using her vectors to deflect anything coming at her, or simply using them as a shield, Lucy has been able to block bullets and withstand explosions. At one point, she’s even seen easily blocking a SM-3 missile without so much as flinching.
Boomstick: And this isn’t even the height of Lucy’s power. When she really gets serious, her horns grow bigger, and so do the number and size of her vectors, including their length.
Wiz: While Lucy is usually seen having only four vectors with a seven-foot reach, at her most serious she has seen producing 28 vectors with a reach of 2,700 miles and a width of 51 miles. That means if she laid her vectors down side by side, they would cover 1,428 miles. In comparison, that’s longer than the entire United States, covering over half of it.
Boomstick: But they’re not just instruments of destruction, defense, speed, and Diclonius baby makers. They can also be used for healing, both herself and others.
Wiz: Yes, while primarily used for both offense and defense, Lucy is able to use her vectors for cellular stitching, where she’s able to reconnect and restore damaged cells, not just for herself, but also on others. We see an example of this when she uses them to heal Kouta, the boy she fell in love with, after he received a fatal wound. Which actually suggests that should could even use her vectors to attack people on a cellular level as well.
- Feats
- Tore through steel as a child
- Picked up and threw a 75 ton boulder
- Survived numerous explosions and a sniper shot to the head
- Blocked a SLAM missile and machine gun fire
- Caused a 9.2 earthquake and a 100 foot tidal wave
- Caught a bullet after she was shot by it
- Punched through and sank an island
- Reached into outer space with her vectors in under 20 seconds
- Destroyed multiple buildings and battleships
- Defeated Bando (a master assassin) and Anna (who could predict the future)
- Defeated fellow Diclonius Nana and Mariko
- Healed near-fatal injuries (on herself and others)
- Obliterated a group of Diclonii before they could react
- Deflected a caliber 50 tungsten bullet designed to deal with vectors
- Almost crushed the entire world with her vectors
Boomstick: Yeah, but if she pushes herself too hard, she could end up reduced to a puddle. And I mean that literally. In the manga, when she pushes herself too hard for too long, she actually starts to melt.
Wiz: This is stated to be as a result of her using more power than she could handle, causing an entropy within her that began to eat at away her body. Even so, Lucy was able to endure and push onward and keep fighting.
Boomstick: Lucy was definitely no stranger to pain after everything she went through. Nothing quite as bad as melting like a wax toy too close to a candle, but even so, she took in like a boss and kept going.
Wiz: While it’s likely that Lucy’s healing factor allowed her to survive despite her current… um, liquefying state, Lucy has shown to be quite durable even without using her vectors as a defense. Such examples included receiving numerous beatings from other Diclonii, taking a hit from a spiked metal balls through her chest, being thrown through multiple metal pillars, and even surviving taking a sniper round to the head. Although to be fair, she was hearing a helmet at the time, which likely contributed to her surviving taking a headshot.
Boomstick: To be fair nothing. She was able to survive whole explosions, some at point blank range without using her vectors to defend herself against them, and still walked away without much harm. One of them was even big enough to destroy a small building.
Wiz: That’s not to say that Lucy isn’t without weakness. Due to a combination of all the trauma she suffered from in her life, her Diclonius genes, and a head injury, Lucy has developed a few split personalities, including the naïve and innocent Nyu, and the DNA Voice, that’s constantly driving her to kill and spread the Diclonius virus, and even begins to take full control of her at times.
Boomstick: But her real biggest weakness is also her greatest weapon. Her horns.
Wiz: The true purpose for the horns the Diclonii possess is to act as antenna of sort, which allow them to manifest their vectors. If these horns are damaged or broken off, it can not only weaken a Diclonius, but it can even render them unable to use their vectors at all.
Boomstick: But getting to those babies is no easy feat. Unless you manage to sneak up on her or hit her from really far away, you’re only chance is getting through the gaps in her vectors.
Wiz: Which is probably not going to happen, see as Lucy has been able to block against massive explosions, machine gun fire, and other objects thrown at her, not to mention the speed in which she’s able to use them.
Boomstick: Yeah, to be honest, your best chance of surviving an encounter with Lucy is to just turn and around and walk the other way.
Interlude[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set. Time to end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
The Battle[]
Nyu is happily running along the beach in the moonlight. A distance away, Seras is lying on the pier with a sniper at the ready as she targets Nyu through the scope, her Harkonnen strapped to her back.
Seras: “Hard to believe this pink-haired girl is the Diclonius queen. She doesn’t seem dangerous, but orders are orders.”
Nyu comes to a stop and looks down curiously at a shell on the sand. Seras takes the shot, but at the last second, Nyu bends down to pick up the shell, and the bullet just misses her. Nyu stands up in surprise, looking scared, and turns in Seras’ direction.
Seras: “Damn it. Firing again.”
Nyu’s frightened look disappears and becomes hostile as her Lucy personality surfaces. Just as Seras fires again, Lucy uses her vectors to launch herself over to Seras, avoiding the second bullet. Seras quickly jumps back as Lucy comes down on her rifle, crushing it out of working shape. Seras lands a short distance away, looking at Lucy much more seriously.
Seras: “I stand corrected. Definitely dangerous.”
Lucy: “You have no idea.”
FIGHT!
Seras pulls out her handgun and fires at Lucy. The bullets halt in mid-air before they hit Lucy as she stops them with her invisible vectors. Seras’s gun clicks empty, and she tosses it aside. Lucy sends the bullets back at Seras one at a time, but she sidesteps and rolls out of the way of them before leaping at Lucy.
She throws a punch, but is stopped by the invisible barrier made by Lucy’s vectors. She keeps trying though, throwing punches and kicks from different angles, but unable to get through, so she leaps back and reassesses the situation.
Seras: “She has some kind of force field.”
Lucy lifts herself into the air as she uses her vectors to lift herself up, making it appear as if she’s floating.
Lucy: “That’s one way of putting it.”
She launches herself at Seras, who leaps off the pier as Lucy’s landing shatters the pier. She lands on the dock, and Lucy follows, landing nearby. Objects begin to float in the air as Lucy picks them up with her vectors and begins throwing them at Seras. Seras runs along the dock, dodging everything Lucy throws at her. She grabs an anchor, spins around, and throws it at Lucy. The anchor freezes inches away from hitting Lucy.
Seras: “What are you, psychic?”
Lucy crushes the anchor into a metal ball.
Lucy: “Something like that.”
She lifts up a speedboat that’s tied to the dock and throws the metal ball followed by the boat at Seras. Seras dodges the metal ball and then quickly catches the boat, then throws it back at Lucy. Rather than stopping it, Lucy uses her vectors to cut the boat in half. Then she launches herself at Seras, who jumps back, just in time to avoid the ground exploding right where she had been standing as Lucy landed close by.
Seras: “Time for the big guns.”
Reaching behind her, Seras pulls off her Harkonnen and points it at Lucy. She fires, but Lucy stands her ground, ad the giant bullet is sliced in half, the two halves passing on either side of Lucy. She leaps away as Seras fires again, the bullet blasting a hole in the dock. Lucy hops closer and closer each time Seras fires, until she’s close enough to cut the Harkonnen in half.
Seras gasps in surprise before an unseen force knocks her up into the air. While she’s still airborne, two gashes in an X form appear across her chest. She manages to land on her hands and knees before leaping away from Lucy; just in time to avoid the spot she landed on exploding as Lucy brought her vectors down.
Having put some distance between her and Lucy, Seras studies her as she gets her bleeding under control. She watches as Lucy rises up into the air once more.
Seras: “There’s more to this than meets the eye. Let’s see what my third one sees.”
She concentrates, and Lucy’s vectors become visible to her, showing her how Lucy is using them to hold herself up.
Seras: “Invisible arms? That’s new.”
Lucy: “So you see them. Guess it’s time to bring this game to an end.”
She launched herself at Sera and lashed out with her vectors. Seras managed to dodge them and continued to back away as she avoided the cutting motions. Lucy kept after her, slicing apart anything in her path as she tried to cut Seras in half or stab her with her vectors, and Seras proceeded to dodge.
As Lucy stabbed forward with all four vectors, Seras suddenly fazes through the ground. Lucy hesitates and began looking around, keeping her vectors at the ready. Seras rose from the ground behind her and rushed forward, slamming into Lucy from behind, sending her flying. Seras rushed after her, and began throwing a series of punches before either of them hit the ground, finishing off the assault by delivering a particularly hard blow that sent Lucy crashing onto the dock.
Seras landed a short distance away and leapt at her as Lucy used her vectors to lift herself up. As Seras reached her, Lucy wrapped her vectors around herself. Seras began throwing a flurry of punches that slammed against Lucy’s protective cocoon.
Suddenly, as Seras threw another punch, her entire left arm was sliced off as Lucy lashed out with one of her vectors. Seras cried out in pain as Lucy went on the attack. She used her vectors to repeatedly punch Seras in the gut before delivering a blow to the head that caused Seras to spin around, and then Lucy slashed at her. Another bloody X appeared, this time on Seras’ back, and she collapsed.
Lucy: “You humans are so fragile.”
Seras suddenly rose to her feet, her cuts healing, and turns back to Lucy.
Seras: “Who’s human?”
Tendrils of darkness emerge in the spot where Seras’ left arm had been. They suddenly fly at Lucy, stabbing forward. Lucy jumps back as the tendrils stab where she had been standing, but the tendrils go after her again. She uses her vectors to deflect them, but one manages to get by her defenses, cutting her. The tendrils keep coming, and more and more cuts appear on Lucy’s body every now and then as the tendrils slip past her vectors.
As the tendrils keep striking, Seras lunges at Lucy, throwing a punch with her remaining arm. Lucy blocks it with her vectors, and Seras quickly jumps back just in time to avoid losing another arm as Lucy slashes at her. She uses her shadow arm to send a mass of darkness at Lucy. Lucy blocks it, and suddenly the upper-body of Pip Bernadotte emerges from the top of the darkness and delivers a punch to Lucy while letting out a stereotypical French laugh before getting swallowed up by the darkness once more.
Seras pulls the darkness back and whips out with it again, forming it into a large tentacle. Lucy blocks as it strikes against her, and Pip emerges once more to deliver another punch. The tentacle breaks down into more tendrils that stab at her, most of which Lucy is able to block, while some manage to get through and cut her. Pip occasionally partially pops out of the darkness too, throwing a punch that is sometimes blocked, sometimes lands, as he makes witty one-liners each time. Lucy slices at the tendrils with her vectors, but its ineffective.
As her tendrils continue to stab, Lucy continues to deflect them, but one slips past and knocks one of Lucy’s horns off her head. She cries out in pain as Seras charges forward and slams into Lucy, sending her flying backwards into a stack of crates that collapse on her. Seras rapidly lashes out with her tendrils, stabbing repeatedly into the piles of crates until there is nothing but a pile of rubble. Seras stops stabbing, and Pip’s voice echoes around her.
Pip: “I think you got her, Police Girl.”
Seras: “Best check for a pulse though.”
She cautiously approaches the pile of rubble. Once she’s standing in front of it, she listens carefully. A moment later, she hears a heartbeat.
Suddenly, a bloody gash flashes across Seras’ neck. Lucy emerges from the pile of rubble, and Seras’ decapitated head falls off her shoulders. Seras’ body still remains standing as her head bounces across the dock, and then suddenly turns into Pip’s severed head.
Pip: “Au revoir, mon chérie.”
Seras regenerates a new head.
Seras: “Pip. No!”
Lucy lifts Pip’s severed head with a vector.
Lucy: “I lost a pet once too. I didn’t take it well either.”
She crushed the head to a bloody pulp. Seras grits her teeth together furiously, and her eyes begin glowing. She lets out a cry of anguish and rage as she loses control of herself and goes wild. She begins attacking Lucy savagely with punches, kicks, and her tendrils. Lucy blocks her hits, but begins taking more and more damage as more of Seras’ attacks slip past her vectors.
Seras begins leaping around Lucy, still attacking wildly. Lucy lashes out with her vectors, knocking Seras back, but she comes at her again. As she closes the distance between them, she sends her tendrils out ahead of her to continue stabbing. When she’s close to Lucy, Seras sends out a mass of darkness colliding into her, sending her flying backwards, landing on her back. Seras jumps straight up and comes down on Lucy from above. She threw a punch, but Lucy blocked with her vectors, them sliced off Seras’ remaining hand.
Seras instead lashed out with her tendrils, repeatedly stabbing down at Lucy so fast and with so much force that she remained airborne above her. Lucy continues to block the tendrils, but still receives cuts from the spots they manage to get through, and it becomes obvious that Lucy was getting worn down.
Lucy suddenly let out a loud cry, and numerous visible vectors emerge from her, shooting outward in all directions. Seras was thrown off of her, and Lucy rose up into the air. Her lost horn regenerates, and both of them grow much longer. She lashes out with her vectors, and several bloody gashes appear all over Seras’ body, yet she somehow remains standing. Lucy rose up higher into the air, and brought several of her vectors down at once upon Seras. Seras sent a mass of darkness up to meet them, and an explosion took place that blew up most of the dock.
Seras skidded back as Lucy came down from up in the air, but still held herself up. Seras bared her fangs at Lucy as she snarls, and Lucy narrowed her eyes at her. At the same time, Seras leapt at Lucy, and Lucy propelled herself forward with her vectors. They met in the middle, and there was a flash as they attacked.
A moment later, it’s revealed that one of Lucy’s vectors had stabbed Seras through the chest, going out her back, and was holding her heart. Seras stumbles past Lucy and comes to a stop. Lucy crushes Seras’ heart, and a moment later, Seras drops to her knees, then fell forward, her shadow limb fading away. Lucy carelessly glanced at her fallen form over her shoulder.
Lucy: “Vampires, huh? And humans think I’m bad.”
KO!
Lucy is seen in her Nyu persona poking Seras’ body with a stick.
Outcome[]
Boomstick: It’s a sad day when a horny, pink-haired girl beats the fledgling of the King of Vampires.
Wiz: Both Seras and Lucy provided each other with quite the challenge with their own set of abilities. And thanks to her various vampire powers, Seras even held the advantage.
Boomstick: But when it came down to it, she just couldn’t get past Lucy’s vectors.
Wiz: Seras is both much faster and stronger than Lucy, at least physically. However, Lucy was able to use her vectors to block and counter almost anything Seras threw at her, whether that was ammunition or physical assaults. And seeing as Lucy’s vectors are essentially psychic manifestations, no real amount of strength could get through them.
Boomstick: And since her vectors weren’t physical, it’s pretty unlikely that Seras would be able to faze through them either, if she can even do that at all since we never saw her do it, even though Alucard can. Basically, Lucy had the perfect attack and defense, which allowed her to both defend and counter all of Seras’ attacks. Plus, Lucy’s vectors were shown to be able to lift far more than what Seras has shown to be capable of.
Wiz: Although it’s debatable of whether or not Seras would be able to use her so-called “Third eye” to see Lucy’s vectors, it still wouldn’t be of much use if she couldn’t get past them. And any time she got close enough to try, she was putting herself at risk of being cut to pieces by them since a single touch is all it would take.
Boomstick: And since Lucy could use her vectors to provide what was basically an impenetrable defense, Seras was pretty much stuck trying to use her speed to counter whenever Lucy gave her an opening when she was the one attacking. At least until she lost her arm and started using that shadowy energy arm thing of hers. You know, they never really explained that.
Wiz: Attacking this way did indeed allow Seras to, shall we say, slip through the cracks and small openings in Lucy’s defenses when she wasn’t able to before, however, the problem was that she still couldn’t really deliver any major damage to Lucy unless she managed to hit a vital area, which Lucy would be sure to protect, even if it meant taking on some pain. And Lucy is no stranger to pain.
Boomstick: Pfft! You got that right. This is the girl who was literally tortured for most of her life, physically, mentally, and emotionally. She even endured melting into a freakin’ puddle. Seras may have experienced some pretty intense pain and trauma herself, but not on Lucy’s level, or for as long.
Wiz: Nor does she have Lucy’s tolerance level for pain, much of which Lucy had seemingly become numb to while Seras has been seen succumbing to. And while Seras’s vampire nature does have a healing ability, to recover from any major injuries, such as the loss of a limb, Lucy’s specialty might I add, she needs to consume blood in order to heal such extensive damage.
Boomstick: And as we said, Seras is not a fan of the whole drinking blood thing. She may have drunk that Pip guy’s blood, but that was with his consent. Seras is just too soft to drink blood from anyone else. As far we know, she hasn’t drunken anyone’s blood other than Pip’s.
Wiz: This is evident from the 30 year time jump at the end of the series where we saw that Seras still hadn’t regenerated the arm she lost from her fight with Zorin. Had she drunk blood during that time, she would have been able to heal that, implying that Pip was the only one she ever drank from, and has instead continued to sleep in a coffin with soil from her birth home to maintain her strength. Truthfully, as a vampire, Seras really is too soft, which is a key weakness of her.
Boomstick: Not drinking blood doesn’t just prevent Seras from completely healing, it also prevents her from becoming the kind of badass that Alucard was. I just don’t get it. Why wouldn’t you want to have millions of lives and millions of familiars whose strengths and powers you could use?
Wiz: Aside from literally having all those minds in your own head you mean.
Boomstick: Wiz, I hear voices all the time, they never bothered me.
Wiz: …Are you still seeing that psychiatrist?
Boomstick: Nope. The voices said I should stop going there.
Wiz: As we said earlier, when vampires in the Hellsing series drink from a victim, they absorb their souls into their being, familiarizing them and essentially adding their victims’ lives to their own. Alucard had fed off of millions of people and beasts, which is what made him so powerful and indestructible while Seras only ever fed off Pip. This means that she only had two lives within her, Pip’s and her own.
Boomstick: And as we saw, Lucy got all slicey and dicey on Seras, and cut her head clean off. Hey, Wiz, did you know that you can actually remain conscious for several seconds after decapitation? How messed up is that?
Wiz: Severing a vampire’s head from their body does seem to be an effective way to kill a vampire, as Father Anderson, an expert vampire hunter, thought he had initially killed Alucard by doing just that. Meaning that when Seras was decapitated by Lucy, she lost Pip as her familiar and was down to only one life.
Boomstick: Apparently, losing her boy-toy was enough to set Seras off, because she totally started vamping out big time. Hehe, I love it when she does that.
Wiz: Seras has indeed known to fall into a blood rage when overcome by anger, is in really stressful situations, or when she gets caught up in her bloodlust. And while this does make her more dangerous and aggressive, it also makes her sloppy, as she pretty much runs on pure instinct.
Boomstick: Losing it like that was pretty much Seras’ undoing, even if she did manage to get in a few good hits on Lucy. If she couldn’t get past her vectors while in a rational state of mind, she definitely wasn’t getting through acting wild and irrational.
Wiz: For sake of argument, let’s assume that Seras could see Lucy’s vectors when using her “Third eye”. It requires Seras to maintain concentration in order to see through illusions, or whatever she’s using it on. And in such a savage berserker state, she wouldn’t be able to maintain focus, and was simply lashing out blindly. Basically, she was just attacking wildly, and just happened to get lucky by getting in a few hits past Lucy’s defenses, but she still faced the same dilemma as before where Lucy would be sure to protect her vital areas until she chose to attack.
Boomstick: Which allowed Lucy to make the final finishing blow to put the voluptuous vampire down for good by taking her last remaining life.
Wiz: Please tell me you didn’t just say ‘voluptuous’.
Boomstick: Hey, even the series artist commented on how Seras’ chest seemed to keep getting bigger as the series went on. I’m simply acknowledging the truth.
Wiz: *Sigh* While Seras may have had the speed and physical strength advantage, and even her standard healing factor, in the end, she couldn’t get past the offensive and defensive capabilities of Lucy’s vectors.
Boomstick: Sorry princess, but you’re no match for a queen.
Wiz: The winner is Lucy.
