History[]
In order to compete against Outworld's warriors, the Lin Kuei Grandmaster decided to convert all his warriors in cybernetic soldiers. Dubbed the Cyber-Initiative, his son Sektor was the first and only voluntary applicant for it, and was converted into a cyber-ninja. With a vast array of weaponry added to his assassin skills, he was made general of Shao Kahn's army during Outworld's invasion of Earthrealm.
Unfortunately, while the procedure made his body stronger, it negatively affected his mind. Slowly, his mind descended into madness until it ended with him killing his own father and taking over the Lin Kuei until Sub-Zero showed up and defeated him. Thrown out of the Lin Kuei, and with nowhere else to turn to, Sektor created his own clan, the Tekunin.
