History[]

Sebastian Castellanos was a decorated member of the Krimson City Police Department, the KCPD. While rising through the ranks at a quick pace, he eventually met his wife Myra Hanson, who he married after answering a call nearly got Myra killed. They had a daughter named Lily and were set to have a pleasant life together. Unfortunately, his daughter was caught in a housefire, and the loss of their daughter slowly drove Sebastian and Myra apart. Sebastian quickly took to alcohol as a source of relief, which only drove him further into despair.

It was his longtime partner Joseph Oda, who in an attempt to get Sebastian back on track and save him from himself, reported Sebastian to Internal Affairs. While it did save Sebastian's career, it ultimately put a great strain on Joseph and Sebastian's relationship, but later became a close friendship. But Sebastian still returns to alcohol whenever seeking relief from the world, as he says he still feels responsible for the incidents that consumed his life.

Upon returning from work, both men were assigned a new rookie to train, Juli Kidman. On their first mission as a trio, alongside Officer Oscar Connelly, they responded to a call at Beacon Mental Hospital. Upon entering the building, they were quickly captured by Ruben Victoriano, otherwise known as Ruvik, and taken to a place called STEM. Ruvik was attempting to gain control of either Castellanos', Oda's, or Kidman's body to escape back into the real world. Eventually Ruvik merges his mind with Leslie Withers, and attempts to kill Sebastian after escaping STEM. Sebastian survives, and supposedly STEM is destroyed...

...until three years later. Sebastian is haunted by flashbacks of the housefire that supposedly took Lily's life, only for Kidman to tell him that Lily is still alive, and is being used by the company MOBIUS to create a brand new world called Union. Stepping back into STEM, he attempts to locate his daughter as other people attempt to gain control over her. Eventually he finds her, and also eventually finds his wife Myra, who has allowed herself to be corrupted within STEM.

Unknown to him until much later, Kidman and Myra have created a plan with a man named Father Theodore to bring down the members of STEM. But Father Theodore went rogue and attempted to control Lily for himself. He said that controlling the core means he controlled all of MOBIUS, and soon would control the real world. Eventually Sebastian confronts Father Theodore, after learning to accept the guilt over losing his daughter, and the fear of the monsters from his previous venture into Ruvik's STEM.

After confronting Myra and destroying her monstrous corruption, he finds his daughter within STEM and attempts to bring her and Myra to safety. But Myra's plan involves her dying within STEM to kill all MOBIUS agents with Kidman's help. Sebastian escapes with his daughter, all MOBIUS agents are killed, and he escapes from STEM to live a life with his daughter again. And for the first time in a long time, Sebastian accepts his past, learns to move on, and is genuinely happy.
