The Disney villains were always cool and mysterious, but a singing villain is the best. Two of Disney’s scariest villains behind our favorite songs fight. Who will win? Who will die?
Rules[]
Scar has 20 Hyenas (counting Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed).
Frollo has his horse and 20 French Soldiers.
Interlude[]
Wiz: We love the Disney villains for their evil plots, sarcastic one-liners and their songs.
Boomstick: But they can fight too!
Wiz: Today, we’re putting two of Disney’s most iconic villains in the arena.
Boomstick: Scar and Frollo!
Wiz: I’m Wiz and he’s Boomstick, and it’s our job to analyze the weapons, armor and skills of these characters to see who would win a DEATH BATTLE!
Scar (with Hyenas)[]
Scar[]
Wiz: Scar is the tyrannical usurper of the throne of the Pride Lands.
Boomstick: He wants to kill Mufasa!
Wiz: Yes, and he had to employ multiple hyenas to achieve his goal.
(Be Prepared instrumental plays)
Boomstick: Then, there was a stampede that killed him.
Wiz: The hyenas, however, failed to kill Simba, resulting in his eventual downfall.
Boomstick: He was defeated, but after that, he lied and blamed the scheme on the hyenas.
Wiz: That, however, made them angry, causing them to turn on Scar and eat him.
Boomstick: That was a brutal death!
Wiz: However, during his lifetime, he had multiple feats and abilities. No, we’re not counting the spin-off show, The Lion Guard.
Boomstick: But the show was after his death!
Wiz: He returned as a spirit and manipulated the animals of the Outlands to fight for him. If we included his feats as a spirit, Frollo wouldn’t stand a chance.
Boomstick: He was very smart, right?
Wiz: Yes, Scar’s intelligence led to him becoming a master manipulator and tricking the hyenas into working for him for multiple years.
Boomstick: He also has claws that can dig into flesh and cause wounds.
Wiz: He can also leap high and kick small objects, like pebbles, into someone’s eyes to blind them temporarily.
Boomstick: He is also durable, as he could stick his paw into fire and still sing.
Wiz: Now, let’s get to his minions, the hyenas.
Shenzi[]
Wiz: Shenzi is the female leader of the hyenas and the most intelligent of them.
Boomstick: Wait, how did Scar even team up with them in the first place?
Wiz: It wasn’t mentioned in the movie, but it can be assumed that he offered them food to persuade them to work with him.
Boomstick: Anyway, she was almost successful at eating Zazu and she, with Banzai and Ed, almost killed Simba and Nala, if Mufasa hadn’t caught them.
Wiz: As for her weaknesses, she isn’t the smartest animal and her henchmen are even dumber.
Banzai[]
Wiz: Banzai is one of the henchmen of Shenzi and is the violent one of the three.
Boomstick: He helped eat Scar and with Shenzi and Ed, caused the stampede that killed Mufasa.
Wiz: He can also understand what Ed is saying when he just growls or laughs.
Ed[]
Wiz: Ed is the less intelligent one of the hyena trio and does not speak. Banzai seems to be the only one to understand him, suggesting that they were close friends or brothers in childhood.
Boomstick: His feats are almost the same as Banzai’s, but a little less.
Other Hyenas[]
Wiz: These hyenas are just background characters and are mostly similar to the main trio.
Boomstick: Scar will have 17 of these hyenas in the fight.
Wiz: And that wraps up Scar’s analysis.
Frollo (with soldiers)[]
Frollo[]
Frollo: (singing) Beata Maria, you know I am a righteous man, of my virtue I am justly proud.
Wiz: Claude Frollo was the corrupt judge of Paris and Quasimodo’s master.
Boomstick: He starts out in the movie by killing Quasimodo's mother and trying to kill him too.
Wiz: And it only gets crazier from there.
Boomstick: He imprisons Quasimodo in the bell tower of Notre Dame and makes him ring the bells.
Wiz: He then feels lust for Esmeralda, a gypsy and vows to kill her.
Boomstick: That’s some crazy shit for a kids’ movie.
Wiz: He failed by falling to his death in a pool of molten lead after Quasimodo betrayed him.
Boomstick: Anyway, on to his feats!
Wiz: He killed Quasimodo’s mother with a kick and can go at high speeds on his horse.
Boomstick: He fought Quasimodo, who can ring Notre Dame’s bells.
Wiz: This would make him around wall level in attack potency.
Boomstick: He also has a sword.
Wiz: This sword helped Frollo break into Notre Dame at the film’s climax.
Boomstick: He pushed the Archdeacon down a flight of steps and broke his ankle.
Wiz: As for his faults, his lust for Esmeralda drove him to insanity and he has been physically overpowered by Quasimodo.
Boomstick: Now, let’s discuss his horse.
Snowball[]
Wiz: Snowball is Frollo’s horse who has a rather strange name.
Boomstick: The name may have been better for someone from Frozen.
Wiz: He has superhuman running speed and gives Frollo a boost in height.
Boomstick: He was first seen when Frollo killed Quasimodo’s mother.
Wiz: He does have some faults though.
Boomstick: He is only an animal and has limited thinking capacities.
Wiz: However, Frollo and his soldiers make up for his lack of intelligence.
Boomstick: And we’re onto the soldiers.
French Soldiers[]
Wiz: The French soldiers are Frollo’s henchmen and they do many things during the movie.
Boomstick: They have torches that can burn down wooden houses.
Wiz: They can also operate a battering ram to injure or crush opponents.
Boomstick: They also have bows that can shoot arrows very far.
Wiz: They nearly killed Captain Pheobus and almost broke the door of Notre Dame.
Boomstick: They have swords to slice and cut opponents.
Wiz: They have also participated in wars and survived.
Boomstick: It’s time for the battle!
Battle[]
Wiz: Now that our combatants are set,
Boomstick: It’s time for a DEATH BATTLE!
Pre-Fight[]
Claude Frollo, the corrupt judge of Paris, roamed the streets, looking for gypsies.
Frollo: Where are those gypsy vermin?
Meanwhile, Scar was looking for more lands to conquer. He and the hyenas arrive at Paris.
Shenzi: When do we stop?
Scar: Silence! There is food here.
Frollo turns around the corner and meets Scar.
Scar: I will conquer this land!
Frollo: You’ll have to go through me first. Soldiers, attack!
As 20 soldiers arrive, 20 hyenas also arrive.
Shenzi: Well, well, well. What do we have here?
Both groups get in their fighting stances.
Fight![]
The hyenas run towards the soldiers and wound them as Scar goes for Frollo. Frollo gets on his horse.
Frollo: Kick him!
The horse kicks Scar, injuring him. Scar claws at the horse’s legs, making it fall.
Scar: Take that!
Frollo: Monster!
Meanwhile, the soldiers fire arrows at the hyenas as they team up on the Captain of the Guard (not Pheobus) and eat him.
Captain of the Guard: No!
Meanwhile, a soldier takes a swing at a hyena and decapitates him. The soldiers and hyenas fight, some killing and some being killed, while their leaders battle. Frollo wounds Scar with his sword.
Scar: Ah!
Scar leaps at Frollo as the soldiers set fire to the street, intending to burn down the hyenas. Scar kicks embers into Frollo’s face.
Frollo: You...
Scar leaps at Frollo, but the soldiers hit him with a battering ram. The hyenas wound the soldiers as the flame spreads.
Scar: Goodbye.
He leaps at Frollo, but the judge is able to stab him, having regained his vision. 2 hyenas are burned by the flames as the arena gets smaller. The soldiers have gained an edge, killing a hyena.
Frollo: It’s time to end this. Soldiers, attack!
Scar: Hyenas, attack!
As both sides clash, the hyenas are killed by the soldiers until there are no more left. The remaining soldiers join Frollo as they form a semi-circle around Scar and push him backwards. Scar claws at the soldiers as he runs through a small gap in the flames. As the soldiers follow, one of them swings his sword, but Scar’s mane saves him. He runs to the cathedral.
Frollo: After him!
As the soldiers follow, Scar runs into the church.
Frollo: It is on holy ground that you will be sacrificed!
As they run after Scar, another sword strike at him cuts his mane. Frollo swings his cloak over Scar, but he claws through it.
As Scar leaps at Frollo, he runs forward as Scar is confused.
Scar: Where is he? Maybe I should leave.
Scar decides to look onto the balcony as he sees Frollo swinging his sword, cutting off Scar’s leg.
Frollo: Leaving so soon?
Scar uses another leg to claw at Frollo, but the soldiers use a battering ram to slam him down.
Frollo: Goodbye. FOREVER!
As Frollo swings his sword to Scar’s neck, he tries to flee, but in vain. Scar looks up, but he feels pain.
Frollo: He’s gone.
Scar’s body is seen on the ground, decapitated.
K.O.![]
Soldier: What do we do now?
Frollo: Go home. Order has been restored.
Results[]
Boomstick: That was interesting!
Wiz: Indeed. In some situations Scar could have won, but more times than not, Frollo takes this battle.
Boomstick: While both leaders were smart, the soldiers were smarter than the hyenas.
Wiz: They were also more experienced, as shown by their participation in wars and had proper weaponry.
Boomstick: I guess this was a hellish battle!
Wiz: The winner is Judge Frollo.
