Santa Claus VS The Flash

Description

Tis the season as these two extremely fast red-clad heroes go head-to-head! Who will come out on top in this Christmas-themed matchup?

Interlude

Wiz: Speed, the measurement of how fast animals, people and objects are.

Boomstick: And these two red-wearing heroes are both extremely fast, using their speedy gifts for the good of mankind. Santa Claus, the obese childhood icon who lives in the North Pole.

Wiz: And Barry Allen, The Flash.

Boomstick: He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick!

Wiz: And it’s our job to find out who would win a Christmas-themed DEATH BATTLE!!!

Santa Claus

Author’s Note: I will be using Composite Santa to make the fight more interesting.

Wiz: The fictional being known as Santa Claus was based off of the Christian Saint, Saint Nicholas but there are several conflicting origin stories on how Santa became the man he is today. Some say he was raised by an Elf Queen whilst others say he was raised by a fairy...

Boomstick: Wiz, this is fucking Santa Claus we’re talking about here! He doesn’t need an origin story!!

Wiz: Regardless of his origins, Santa Claus is a being who lives in the North Pole and owns a factory there were his trustworthy elves make toys for all the well-behaved children of the world and on Christmas Eve he travels around the world on his magical sleigh delivering presents and coal to all children.

Boomstick: Whilst also stealing their cookies and milk! Also Wiz, why does Santa not live in the South Pole instead? There’s lots of cute penguins there, and he wouldn’t have to be worried about being attacked by all the Polar Bears that live in the North Pole.

Wiz: Well, the North Pole is generally warmer than the South Pole, so I guess that could be one reason why he decided to live there.

Boomstick: Santa is strong enough to lift his sack which is filled with toys for every good person in the Universe, can catch and lift a school bus filled with children, was able to face off against the forces of Apokolips and was able to fight on par with the likes of Lobo and Grey Hulk who are both planet-busters.

Wiz: Santa is fast enough to keep up with Lobo (who in turn can keep up with beings like Superman), dodge Darkseid’s Omega Beams as well as blows from a mech suit and is able to go inside the houses of every child in the world, place their presents/lumps of coal neatly under their tree, eat their cookies and milk, and then leave to the same thing in every other house all in the span of a single day.

Boomstick: He’s also durable enough to tank artillery blasts, lasers and hits from Lobo and can survive going at 30,000 times the speed of sound in his sleigh, but to protect him from harm in the first place he has his Spider-Sense Santa-Sense which alerts him to any danger that is heading his way so that he can avoid it.

Wiz: He is able to teleport into people’s houses and fly without his reindeer whilst emitting sparkles from his body. Additionally, he can turn himself and other objects invisible so that people can’t catch him and can erase people’s memories if anyone discovers him. He’s also able to seemingly watch over everyone in the world and sense whether they are sleeping.

(Boomstick interrupts)

Boomstick: Like some sort of creep!

Wiz: Ahem, anyways, Santa can also slow down time to help him deliver all his presents on time, can summon gifts from his sack, can fire lasers from his eyes similar to Superman’s Heat Vision and is skilled with magic to the point where he was able to transform the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants into inanimate toys, teleport the X-Men away, erase both groups' memories of his involvement, and then gifted a city with snowfall, which is pretty impressive!

Boomstick: Alongside his vast array of abilities, Santa also lots of equipment on hand to help him in his travels and in battle, including his sleigh which is driven by his 8 trusty reindeer Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder/Donner, and Blixem and allows Santa to travel at 650 miles per second, 3,000 times the speed of sound. Rudolph the red-nose reindeer can also be summoned to assist Santa if he requires assistance.

Wiz: He also has his sack which can be used as a melee weapon if necessary, has two swords which is he quite skilled at wielding, can travel anywhere by speaking to snow globes and smashing them to create portals to any location and can summon Yetis to fight for him using these portals.

Boomstick: There’s also his magic necklace which can grant him any wish he desires, his explosive presents which can obviously cause large explosions and his mech suit which is armed with firearms, has a tough metal exterior and helped him to fight against Lobo. But, the most powerful tool in his arsenal is the Infinity Gauntlet, because you know Santa out of all fucking people has to get the Infinity Gauntlet!

Wiz: When he puts on the Gauntlet, Santa is able to wield the 6 Infinity Stones which essentially allow the user to become Nigh-Omnipotent when they are used as a unit. The Power Gem increases the user’s strength and stamina to infinite levels and allows them to replicate any superpower, the Time Gem allows the user to travel through time, control the aging of beings, trap foes in unending loops of time and can allow them to become Omnipresent. The Space Gem allows the user to control all of space according to their will enabling them to teleport anywhere in the universe and increase their speed, the Reality Gem allows users to break the laws of Physics, resurrect the dead and warp reality on a universal scale, the Soul Gem can control the souls of both living and dead beings and attack them and the Mind Gem allows the user to read and control all minds in the universe simultaneously. However, it should be noted that wielding the Gauntlet makes Santa go mad with power and lose his sanity so this can affect the way in which he uses it.

Boomstick: Santa is nice and friendly towards every being he encounters and dislikes violence and hurting other beings. He’s also really smart to the point where he knowledgeable of everyone in the universe and all of their deeds including alien races. Additionally, he can come with good strategies on how to enter people’s houses and give them presents and come up with a list of every being in the universe which states whether they’ve naughty or nice. Damn, that sure as hell must take a while!

Wiz: Santa has managed to deliver presents/coal to every person on the planet each year in a single night, was able to get a hold of the Infinity Gauntlet, managed to defeat the Boogey Man alongside the guardians and was able to walk right into Darkseid’s base, hand him a lump of coal and escape from completely unscathed.

Boomstick: But, despite all his hilarious feats, Santa isn’t exactly flawless. He’s pretty old and fat, is pretty susceptible to being kidnapped, doesn’t really have much fighting experience and is very reluctant to fight unless he’s REALLY pushed.

Wiz: However, with his speed, Christmas magic and arsenal, Santa has more than earned his place as one of the world’s biggest Christmas icons!

Santa Claus: Ho ho! Merry Christmas!

The Flash

Wiz: Barry Allen was born to Henry and Nora Allen and had a happy childhood.

(Boomstick interrupts)

Boomstick: That is until the Superhero dead parents cliche decided to knock on his door which resulted in his mother being murdered and his Dad being wrongly committed of the crime. Hey Wiz, if Flash’s Dad didn’t commit the murder then who did?

Wiz: Well, turns out Flash’s future nemesis, Professor Zoom had travelled back in time to kill Barry’s mother in order to get revenge on him, but at this point in his story, Barry had no idea who his mother’s killer and set out to become a forensic scientist in order to help get his father out of jail.

Boomstick: One day while working late in the lab, Barry was struck by a bolt of lightning which set him flying back into a cabinet of electrified chemicals, but instead of being killed or crippled for life he was granted the power to move his body at incredible speeds, becoming the Flash!

Wiz: Barry’s physical ablites were greatly increased when he gained his powers. He’s strong enough to send Superman flying with his blows, go head-to-head with the likes of Supergirl, The Spectre and Ultraman, was able to gain the upper-hand when fighting the entire Justice League himself and managed to draw blood from Nix Uotan, a Multiversal Monitor.

Boomstick: He’s been able to tank hits from Gorilla Grodd and Reverse-Flash, survived getting flicked into a hot-dog stand by Superman and a kick from the Spectre which sent him flying all the way to freaking Mars of all places, was the first to get back up from an attack from New 52 Darkseid was able to tank the Omega Beams at point-blank range, the same beams that are able to severely damage the likes of Superman so the fact he can survive being hit by them is REALLY impressive!

Wiz: Now onto his speed which is his main trump card. He’s fast enough to dodge lightning, beat Superman in a running race, outrun Darkseid’s Omega Beams and the Black Racer which is essentially the avatar of Death itself. He’s also claimed to have evacuated the entire population of Tokyo in 30 seconds, is able to run on water, helicopter blades and clouds, managed to have a full conservation with Superman before anyone else moved an inch, can accomplish tasks while being practically invisible to other people, can move at speeds that make the rest of the world seem completely still around him, was able to travel the entire universe in mere moments whilst searching for the Spectre and lastly, was able to run so fast that he ended up rebooting the entire DC Multiverse.

Boomstick: Damn, this is guy sounds like he’s EXTREMELY OP, and we haven’t even got onto his main ablites yet!

Wiz: Flash is also pretty agile to the point where he can move around fairly easily whilst falling through the air and is able to easily maneuver over other cars whilst travelling at super speeds. His intelligence is extremely impressive as he’s been able to build a robot while being crippled, operate the JL computer, rebuild a pyramid and an entire city and is extremely knowledgeable of the Speed Force which is what grants him his powers.

Boomstick: Barry has also pulled a page out of Batman’s book and is a great detective and is a decent hand-to-hand fighter. His willpower and determination is also considerable, and he refuses to give up even when faced against inescapable odds. Like the time he tried to recreate the accident that gave him his powers to get his powers back. Instead of getting them back the first time, Barry got struck by lightning, and got covered in third degree burns, and still ended up trying again despite being in critical condition. What the fuck?!

Wiz: Barry’s suit is contained within his costume ring which he open in order to release his suit and change into it. His suit also enhances his strength and durability and contains earpieces that somehow allow him to hear things when going faster than the speed of sound.

Boomstick: As previously mentioned, Flash draws his power from the Speed Force an energy force which he unwillingly created. It allows Barry to fuck around with the laws of physics whilst travelling around. He’s also able to take his opponents with him into the Speed Force and fight them inside them it.

Wiz: Onto his wider range of abilities now, Barry’s mind is fast enough to process events in less than an nanosecond and this ability allows him to process information around him so quickly that he can essentially predict the future and determine every possible outcome to every situation he’s in which is extremely useful in battle. He also has a powerful healing factor that has allowed him to heal from having his arm crushed, his leg stabbed, a beating from Godspeed and the bone-crushing pressure of being 2,000 feet below the ocean.

Boomstick: He’s additionally able to phase through solid objects and become intangible. He can also phase through other beings in order to hurt them by ripping out their organs, tearing them apart or straight up disintegrating them. Holy shit, that’s some Mortal Kombat level of violence right there!

Wiz: He is able to create tornadoes and vortexs by manipulating the surrounding air which he can use to blow opponents away, suffocate them or keep heavy objects such as planes, tanks and barges in the air or trapped in his slipstream. He can also generate yellow lightning from his body which can launch at his opponents in order to electrocute them.

Boomstick: There’s also his ability to absorb and steal the speed energy from other speedsters alongside his time travelling ability. He can also resist having soul possessed and also reality warping to some extent.

Wiz: Barry can also vibrate his fist at speed of light in order to use the Infinite Mass Punch an attack that can destroy stars and level Solar Systems upon impact. Lastly, he’s able to gain a kind of Super-Form by achieving White lightning, an ability that allows him to move time forward around him and enabled him to beat Reverse Flash on one occasion.

Boomstick: He’s been able to get his father out of prison after proving his innocence, consistently clashes with other speedsters and usually comes out on top, was able to kill New 52 Darkseid by merging with the Black Racer and attacking him alongside the Anti-Monitor, became the God of Death temporarily, started the New 52 continuity and stopped the Anti-Monitor from using his Anti-Matter in the end of Final Crisis, therefore saving the entire Multiverse from annihilation.

Wiz: However, his insane speed does take a huge toll on his body’s metabolism, meaning that he does have to eat a lot, his connection to the Speed Force can be ruptured leaving him essentially powerless, and he often holds back against his opponents unless really necessary.

Boomstick: But, with his speed, vast array of ablites and sheer willpower, Barry has become most iconic of the Flashes and will stop at nothing to save the day in the nick of time!

The Flash (Barry Allen): Life doesn't give us purpose. We give life purpose.

Pre-DEATH BATTLE

Wiz: All right the combatants are set, let’s end this debate once and for all!

Boomstick: It’s time for a DEATH BATTLE!

DEATH BATTLE!

In a ruined city in the future red and yellow streaks could be seen travelling through the streets as several dark clouds loomed above them. The camera then zoomed in to focus on the two figures and the yellow figure was sent skidding back on his feet across a damaged street. It was Reverse Flash. RF's costume was torn and his nose was bloody, but he looked definitely at his opponent as The Flash stepped towards him.

Flash: You're done Thawne, stand down now and I'll take you in quietly

RF then spits some blood out of his mouth before smirking at Flash.

Reverse Flash: Oh Flash, I'm nowhere near done yet!

The two then charge at each other and begin running through the city whilst exchanging blows, Barry then creates a yellow lightning bolt and chucks it at RF, stunning him and allowing the Scarlet Speedster to open a Wormhole to the past grab his nemesis and runs through it.

As Flash runs through the Wormhole and travels through time whilst still holding onto RF's body he speaks to him.

Flash: I'm going to put you in jail, Thawne and this time you're not getting out!

RF looks up at Flash and then grins.

Reverse Flash: Hmph, you're so predictable, Barry!

RF then punches Flash in the gut causing the hero to let go of him.

Flash: AAH!

RF then takes of Barry's distracted state and then delivers an uppercut to his foe's jaw.

CRACK!

Flash is then sent flying back slightly, but he manages to land on his feet and speeds after RF.

Flash: I'm not going to let you get away!

Barry then catches up with Thawne and the two exchange blows once again before RF gains the upper-hand and slams Flash on the back of the head with both fists before charging up an Infinite Mass Punch and moving his fist towards his foe's chest.

Reverse Flash: Bye-Bye Barry!

BOOM!

Flash is then hit in the chest with the IMP is sent flying through another wormhole.

The North Pole, Christmas Eve in the Present Day

The Arctic landscape is shown before the camera zooms in on a big workshop covered in snow and Christmas lights. Out of the workshop's windows dozens of elves were waving at an obese and bearded figure in red clothes. It was Santa Claus. Santa then got into his sleigh and put his sack of Christmas presents in the back of the sleigh before his reindeer began to lift the sleigh off the ground. Santa then said one last thing to the elves before flying off.

Santa: Ho ho! Merry Christmas!

Somewhere nearby a wormhole opened and Flash came flying out of it before hitting the ground and touching the back of his head. All around him snow was falling around him in the night air.

Flash: Uhh, Thawne got me pretty good this time, I'd better find him as soon as possible before he tries to harm anyone else

Barry then heard the sound of bells jingling and then saw a sleigh flying through the air in the distance with sparkles coming out the back of it. He was still feeling a bit dizzy after Thawne had hit him on the head though, so he couldn't see exactly what the object was.

Flash: That must be Thawne!

He then got and raced towards the object before eventually arriving beside the sleigh and looking at the figure inside of it.

Flash (thoughts): How strange, that figure looks a lot like Santa Claus, but Santa doesn't exist so it must be Thawne in disguise.

Santa then noticed Barry running alongside his sleigh and even though he was shocked that a human had discovered his existence, he lowered his sleigh closer to the ground and turned to look at the hero whilst his reindeer continued to fly across the Arctic.

Santa: Hello there, stranger, what can I do for you this Christm...

(Flash interrupts)

Flash: Don't try and fool me with your compliments, Thawne! I know that's you in disguise

Santa: I'm afraid, I do not who this Thawne fellow is, you'll have to ask someone else

Flash then rolls his eyes before preparing to punch Santa.

Flash: I guess I'm going to have to get you to confess the hard way!

Flash then moves his fist towards Santa who reluctantly raises his own fist to counter his opponent's attack.

FIGHT!

The two fists collide with considerable force with Flash being surprised by his opponent's shear strength, however Flash then starts punching at Santa more quickly and while he is initially able to counter some of his blows, Santa is caught off-guard by several quick punches to his chest and gut which cause him to stagger backwards in his sleigh slightly. Santa however manages to recover his balance and tries to kick at Flash who easily dodges the blow and punches Santa in the leg. Santa then leans forward and tries to hammer Flash with several blows from his fists but Flash is able to dodge them pretty easily and then punch Santa square in the face.

Flash then leaps into Santa's sleigh and Santa manages to get to his feet before attemping to tackle Flash again. The two exchange several punches and kicks with Santa initially having the advantage in the skirmish due to his great strength but Flash soon starts to ramp up the intensity of his blows and Santa struggles to defend against them. Before Flash can knock Santa down again however, the Christmas icon summons an explosive present to his hand and throws at Flash's chest, however Barry manages to knock into the air where the present explodes with considerable force.

BOOM!

Barry: I'm not really a fan of getting blown up

Santa then replies to his opponent in a slightly frustrated tone of voice.

Santa: And I don't like being interrupted while carrying out my present-delivering duties

Santa tries to punch Flash again who dodges the blow and tries to punch Santa in the neck however he manages to grab Flash's fist with considerable ease and speed stopping the attack and shocking Barry slightly.

Flash: What?!

Taking of advantage of Flash's distracted state, Santa then headbutts him with considerable force before running into Flash, grabbing him jumping out of the sleigh and body slamming him into the ice below with a lot of force causing it to crack considerably as the two speedsters hit it.

CRASH!

Flash: Aargh!

After hitting the ground Santa then gets off Flash and backs away from him a bit allowing the fastest man alive to get to his feet. The two then stare at each other for a moment before Santa breaks the silence.

Santa: You fight well, but I no longer wish to continue this conflict as I have presents to deliver.

Flash: Nice try, Thawne but I'm not going to let you get away that easily

Flash then spits some blood out of his mouth and gets into a combat position whilst Santa begrudgingly does the same. Flash then runs at Santa slightly faster than before and prepares to fire a yellow lightning blow at his adversary before launching at him. Santa then deflects the bolt harmlessly away by backhanding it, but then leaves himself open so that Barry can then run up to him and punch him in the chest sending Santa flying backwards into the ice behind them.

CRASH!

Despite feeling blood leaking down his arms and back as a result of him crash-landing into the ice, Santa manages to get to his feet and sees Flash running towards him in a red blur. Flash then prepares to stun Santa by phasing through him but before he can do so Santa teleports away and vanishes into thin air.

Flash: What the?! Where did Thawne go to now?

Santa then appears a dozen meters or so behind Flash.

Santa: You shouldn't underestimate me, Barry Allen, my teleportation ablites will allow me to keep ahead of your speed

Flash: I'm the fastest man alive, Thawne, you of all people would know that

Santa: You remind me of a lot of the naughty children I have encountered over the years

Flash doesn't respond to Santa's remark and instead tries to run towards him in order to fight him however Santa simply teleports out of Flash's way and appears behind him again, Barry then tries to run at him again but Santa teleports behind him yet again and this cycle repeats itself another 5 times. Having had enough of Santa messing him about, Flash then increases his speed and manages to punch at Santa before he can teleport, however Santa still manages to block the attack with his arms. As the two continue to move across the Arctic at incredible speeds, Flash tries to break through Santa's guard by barraging him with a volley of blows, but he manages to hold back Barry's attacks with his arms whilst being pushed back across the icy plains.

Santa then begins to retaliate against Barry by punching at him several times and while he is caught off-guard with punches to the face and neck, he does manage to recover and counter the rest of Santa's blows with his arms fairly easily before Santa catches him off-guard again with an uppercut to the face that sends him flying through the air however Flash manages to land on his feet and then charges at Santa again who fires a blast of Heat Vision at him. While Barry is caught by surprise by the blast he still manages to duck under it with considerable ease but is then slashed across the arm by one of Santa's swords.

Flash: Aaah!

Seeing that Flash is distracted, Santa then punches him in the shoulder knocking the fastest man alive back.

Santa: That was your Warning, Barry, don't make me do this!

Flash: Fat chance, I'm not going to let you get away!

A disappointed look appears on Santa's face, and he sighs.

Santa: So be it then

The Christmas icon then flies into the air with sparkles appearing below his feet before attempting to blast Flash with his Heat Vision whilst also trying to hit him with a couple of exploding presents, however Flash manages to dodge and outrun all of these attacks whilst the presents explode around him and the Heat Vision scorches the ice and snow behind him.

BOOM!

BOOM!

Needing to try and find a way to get the Heat Vision beams off his tail, Barry looks around and sees a 10-foot tall lump of ice and decides to run towards it with the beams still following him. He then runs up the lump of ice and leaps into the air towards Santa before charging up another bolt of lightning and launching it at Santa, hitting him and sending the obese man hurtling towards the ground.

CRASH!

As Flash prepares to land safely on the ground, Santa quickly recovers and blasts Flash in the chest mid-air with his Heat Vision causing him to go crashing back into another huge lump of ice causing shattering upon impact.

CRASH!

Santa then gets to his feet before flying towards Flash and then landing in front of him. Flash manages to scramble from the nearby rubble of the lump of ice fairly quickly before Santa throws 3 more exploding presents at him which Flash dodges whilst the presents explode around him and cause large cracks to appear in the nearby ice. Barry then leaps over one of the explosions before slamming Santa on the back with considerable force causing the ice beneath the old man to shatter and the both of them to plunge into the freezing water beneath the ice.

SPLASH!

SPLASH!

Santa and Flash found themselves underwater in extremely cold water and while it was extremely dark they could still see outlines of each other and so began to swim towards one another and continue their battle. The two began to exchange blows at a fairly rapid as they travelled through the water, however while Flash did get some air bubbles knocked out of him by Santa's powerful blows he was able to eventually get the upper hand in their struggle and knock Santa back with a kick to the gut. Santa then decided to fly through the water grab Barry by the arm, lift him through the water and ice and then drag him back onto the icy, dry land.

Both speedsters were pretty roughed-up with Santa's red coat torn and blood coming out his nose, legs and shoulders. While Flash's regeneration had healed most of his injuries his suit was still badly-torn and covered with snow.

Santa: That's enough, Barry Allen! You were originally going to be my 'Nice List' but because of your hostility towards me I am now going to put you on the 'Naughty List'

Santa then summons his Naughty List and begins to write Barry's name on it. Flash then frowns and starts running up to Santa.

Flash: I don't have time to play games, Thawne!

Flash then wrenches the Naughty List from Santa's hand and tears it in two.

A look of anger appeared on Santa's face.

Santa: You disruptive child! Now that you have destroyed my Naughty List you will be receiving coal every Christmas for the rest of your days. I no longer have the time to deal with you as I have presents to deliver, farewell

Santa then flies into the sky and heads southwards.

Flash (thoughts): Whether this guy is Thawne or not, he is a real menace, and he has to be stopped before he hurts anyone else, I'd better go after him.

Flash then runs after Santa reaching the end of the Arctic and was soon running on open water. After running on water for about 20 seconds he then began running through the snow-covered plains of Canada and then the United States as he saw that Santa had reunited with his sleigh and was now driving it just ahead of him. Just as the two were about to catch up to each other they arrived in a massive city.

12AM Christmas Day in New York City

It was nighttime in New York City as Santa began to fly over it on his sleigh, all around him snow was falling into the quiet streets below. As Santa was about to start delivering his presents just above a skyscraper Flash shouted to him from below.

Flash: Stop right there, I'm going to take you in

Santa sighed.

Santa: I don't have time for this, Barry

Santa then began to fly through the city on his sleigh while Flash ran after him through the streets he then began to run up several smaller buildings and then some larger city blocks before finally running up a tall skyscraper and then leaping off of it towards Santa's sleigh. He then landed in the sleigh beside Santa before punching him in the side and causing the Christmas icon to stumble. Santa then tried to kick at Barry and punch him in the neck but Flash just dodged the kick and intercepted the punch with his elbow. Flash then headbutted Santa before his Santa-Sense could kick in, sending the old man flying towards the back of his sleigh.

Santa then took a moment to catch his breath before he grabbed onto his large sack of gifts that was lying in the back of his sleigh and swung it at Flash who was sent flying through a nearby skyscraper with a lot of force causing a large hole to appear in the side.

CRASH!

Thanks to his slowed perception of time, Flash was able to quickly recover from the impact of his collision and was able to phase through a second skyscraper and land back safely on the ground. While Santa was shocked by the destructive nature of his attack, Flash was simply enraged by it and shouted at Santa in a firm voice.

Flash: You have just killed several innocent people with your violent behaviour, I'm going to bring you down now before anyone else gets hurt!

Flash then runs up several buildings and leaps towards Santa's sleigh whilst vibrating his fist at the speed of light and before Santa could even react, Barry's fist collided with the sleigh, striking it with the Infinite Mass Punch and causing a massive explosion.

KA-BOOM!

The sleigh was obliterated by the explosion and Santa's reindeer, his present sack and Santa's present sack were all sent flying in opposite directions whilst dozens of presents from the sack as well as snow and debris caught in the explosion fell on the ground. The Christmas icon, however was able to save himself from slamming into the ground thanks to his Santa-Sense and flying ablates and landed safely on the ground before looking up at Flash.

Santa: Look at this mess! Not only have you caused a huge amount of destruction yourself, but you have also destroyed my sleigh and have prevented me from delivering the millions of other presents I was meant to deliver this year. It's time to put you in your place once and for all! Ruldoph now!

Ruldoph then flew down from the sky and onto the ground to charge at Barry but before he could react Flash ran through the red-nosed-reindeer using his phasing ability completely obliterating it.

Santa: What?!

Before Santa could do anything else, Flash then ran up to him and phased his hand through Santa's chest and out his back causing his immense pain, before pummelling the Christmas icon with a least a dozen punches and kicks knocking Santa down and causing him to fall on his knees.

Flash: You're finished!

Before Flash could run towards Santa and hit him again, the old man managed to slow time around him giving him enough to pull a snow globe out of his hand, speak into it and smash onto the ground. A portal then opened and Santa then stepped through followed soon after by Flash.

A village in France

Santa exited the portal and arrived in the center of the village which had snow falling down on the rooftops. Barry then ran through the portal and grabbed Santa before he could react as he began to run through the village.

Flash: I'd prefer to take this fight somewhere else

A wormhole then opened and Flash ran through it taking the Christmas icon with him.

The Speed Force

Flash entered the Speed Force and put Santa back on the ground before the two began to stare at each other.

Santa: Where I am, Barry?

Flash: You're in the Speed Force, the dimension that fuels my power and I'm going to end this battle here

Flash then runs towards Santa extremely quickly and prepares to fire a bolt of lightning at him but Santa suddenly turns invisible shocking Flash. Suddenly, Barry felt a mighty fist punch him in the back.

CRACK!

After turning invisible Santa had teleported behind Flash to try and gain an upper hand in the battle, but instead of being sent flying by the attack, he merely tanked it before grabbing Santa by the arm and hurling him over his shoulder and into the ground. Barry was no longer holding back.

Santa: If you're going to fight like that Barry, you've left me no choice but to summon reinforcements!

Santa then smashed a couple of snow globes on the ground opening two portals and summoning a dozen Yetis which began to run towards Santa. Due to his extremely fast brain-processing speeds though, the Yetis looked as if they were completely frozen allowing Flash to blitz five of them with a combination of punches and lightning bolts before he began to create a massive whirlwind with his hands which blew the remaining Yetis and Santa away.

As Santa was being blown away he pulled out his two swords and reluctantly threw them towards Flash's arms in attempt to slow his opponent down, however Barry easily knocked the weapons aside and began to run around Santa in a circle, creating a giant red tornado that sucked Santa into it and threw him around before he was tossed out of the tornado and was sent flying through the air.

Before the Christmas icon could hit the ground though, he managed to just about remain his balance and stay in the air before he fired a blast of Heat Vision towards Flash's direction which Barry managed to keep ahead of with ease. As he was running though, white lightning began to emit from his body and his body began to glow ghostly white as he ran towards Santa. He had now achieved the state of White Lightning!

Flash then leaped into the air towards Santa tanking his Heat Vision with his arms before punching him in the chest and knocking him to the ground.

CRASH!

Santa: Agh! Uh...what is this?!

Flash: I have achieved the state of White Lightning the highest form of lightning a speedster can unlock using the Speed Force and I intend to end this fight now with my new power!

Santa manages to stagger to his feet and looks confidently at Barry despite his injuries.

Santa: I wouldn't overestimate your chances too much, Barry, I still have a few tricks up my sleeve!

Santa then summoned his Santa Mech and got into it, ready to fight Flash once again.

Flash: Your bag of tricks never ceases to amaze me, but it's not going to prevent me from putting a stop to your crazy behaviour!

Santa then activates his mech's machine gun and fires dozens of bullets towards Flash's legs in an attempt to incapacitate him but Barry easily ducks around and dodges the bullets before punching the mech in the chestplate. Santa then tries to punch at Barry with the mech suit's fists, but Flash dodges the blows again before hammering the mech with blows, whilst continuing to run pushing the mech suit back through the Speed Force dimension. Flash then razed his fist and prepared to strike the mech suit with an IMP.

Flash: Time to stop this fight!

Flash then struck the mech in the chestplate with the IMP obliterating it in a massive explosion.

KA-BOOM!

Santa was sent flying out of the mech and crashed onto the ground with blood leaking from his nose. As Flash prepared to run towards him in order to knock him out, Santa pulled out his magic necklace and made a wish on it.

Santa: I wish for...the.Infinity Gauntlet!

In a flash of light the glove appeared on Santa's hand and his eyes began to grow yellow with power as an evil expression appeared on his face, and he then pointed his finger at Flash.

Santa: I'll kill you now, Barry Allen!

Flash: I'm sorry, but that isn't going to happening any time soon!

The two speedsters then raced towards each other, ready to engage each other once again.

Flash tried to punch Santa in the chest but the Christmas icon blocked it with his right hand before uppercutting Flash with the Gauntlet and sending him skyrocketing into the air. Flash then crashed onto the ground but managed to recover and get back up fairly quickly and run towards Santa the two beings now running alongside each other and exchanging blows at a rapid pace. Santa then decided to interrupt the exchange by speaking to Barry.

Santa: Take this, Barry!

Santa then fired a blast of energy at Flash hitting him the chest with considerable force knocking him and Santa out of the Speed Force dimension and back into the normal world.

Back in the normal world

Once Flash had recovered from the blast he ran into the distance with Santa following him, the two catching up with each other and exchanging blows again as they passed through the different continents of the world and over the different oceans in a blur. The two beings ended up encircling the globe about 20 times before Santa suddenly up into the air and used the Reality Stone to summon 100 massive presents around him.

Santa: IF I CAN't KILL YOU WITH MY FIGHTING ABLITES, THEN I'LL JUST HAVE TO BLOW YOU SKYHIGH!

Santa then dropped the presents which hurtled towards the different continents, at first Flash wasn't that worried about dealing with the presents but then heard two massive explosions in the sky as two of the presents blew up in the sky prematurely creating massive shock waves. These were no ordinary presents, these were nuclear presents, and they were all seconds away from hitting the ground and exploding.

BOOM!

BOOM!

Flash: I can't let those presents hit the Earth!

Flash then ran around the globe in an instant stacking all the nuclear presence on top of each other before throwing the pile as far up into the atmosphere as he could towards Santa creating a massive explosion.

KA-BOOM!

Massive fire clouds erupted from the explosion site moving across the sky at a rapid pace and temporarily blocking out the sun. Santa then emerged from clouds with his clothes singed, but he was otherwise unharmed. He then shouted at Barry from up into the sky.

Santa: You may have been able to stop my presents, Barry, but there's no way you're going to stop this!

Santa then summoned a giant lump of coal about half the size of the moon and launched towards the Earth, the lump of coal catching fire whilst it fell through the atmosphere essentially turning it into a giant flaming meteorite.

Flash: This madman is absolutely crazy!!

Flash then sped towards the direction of the lump of coal, leaped into the air with all his might and charged up an extremely powerful IMP before striking the meteorite with it.

KA-BOOM!

The lump of coal was completely obliterated by the IMP, saving the Earth, but before he could do anything else Flash saw the Christmas icon rocket towards him through the rubble of the coal and slam into him the two speedsters crashing onto a snowy plain in America with considerable force causing a massive crater upon impact with the ground.

CRASH!

As the snow settled the two speedsters got up with Flash bleeding all over and suit being even more torn whilst Santa was completely unharmed by the impact. Despite his injuries Flash managed to scramble to feet and run towards Santa however the Christmas icon used the Mind Stone to read his opponent's mind before firing a small energy blast at Barry which caused the speedster to lose his powers and trip and fall over in the snow.

Flash: What?! How did you cut me off from the Speed Force?!

Santa: I used the power of this mighty gauntlet, Flash

Despite having lost his powers, Barry tried to get up and pull the gauntlet off of Santa's hand in desperation but Santa then responded by turning Barry into a massive Flash action figure and stepped towards Flash before speaking to him.

Santa: Goodbye Flash!

Santa then snapped his fingers.

SNAP!

The action figure then began to disintegrate and was then reduced to a pile of dust that was then blown away in the wind.

Santa then took the Gauntlet off and then wished on his magic necklace to restore everything to normal with the exception of the Flash. Santa then got on his now restored sleigh and flew off into the sky to deliver presents and coal to the children of the world.

K.O!

Results

Boomstick: Ok, who the hell thought that giving Santa the Infinity Gauntlet was a good idea?! Who knows what he's going to end up doing with doing it now ?!

Wiz: This matchup was pretty interesting. While Flash was physically superior to Santa, the Christmas icon's feats of taking on the likes of Grey Hulk and Lobo and dodging Darkseid's Omega Beams meant that he could still contend with Flash pretty evenly in a physical bout.

Boomstick: But Wiz, Flash is a LOT faster than Santa and react a lot quicker than him so how the hell could he even try and land a hit on him?!

Wiz: Well, Lobo has able been able to tag the Flash before in the comics and considering that Santa was able to keep up with Lobo it could be argued that he could also get some good hits on Flash while he was holding back.

Boomstick: However, despite his wide array of abilities that were capable of keeping Flash on his toes, Santa didn't have much experience using them in a combat-based situation and was pretty reluctant to fight Flash at his full potential due to his peaceful nature in general.

Wiz: Also, once Flash stopped holding back, Santa had no hope of landing a hit on him without a massive power boost which meant that Flash was able to power through even the powerful tools in Santa's arsenal (e.g. His mech suit) with considerable ease.

Boomstick: But, once Santa was able to get a hold of the Gauntlet the battle turned completely in his favour. With the Gauntlet's power he was able to keep up with Flash's speed and outmatch him with the other huge of abilities the Gauntlet gave him. The Mind Stone also allowed him to read Flash's Mind and gather information on his weaknesses before cutting him off from the Speed Force and leaving him powerless.

Wiz: Lastly, the fact that putting on the Gauntlet made Santa previously go mad with power meant that he was willing to go all out and actually finish off Flash rather than simply defeating him.

Boomstick: Looks like Barry SNAPPED in a FLASH allowing Santa to win the battle!

Wiz: The Winner is Santa Claus!

Boomstick: Fucking Santa Claus!
