Interlude

Ewan: Salem, The Queen of all Grimm from RWBY.....vs.....SMG0, The Universe Destroying Virus of SMG4, in order for peace, dark actions must be done sometimes...today we shall see who is the most corrupted, I'm Ewan, your guide through my battles and I will analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Salem corrupts Death Battle

Ewan: In a time before the world was Remnant, Salem was a human woman locked in a tower by her cruel father. One day, she was rescued by a brave knight named Ozma. The two fell in love and spent their life together until Ozma fell deathly ill and passed away, huh usually it's the woman who kicks the bucket like that but I like the take on this story, Desperate to bring back her lost love, Salem met with the God of Light to beg him to bring Ozma back, but the God of Light refused in order to maintain the balance of life and death, oh come on!

Ewan: Seeing no other hope, Salem turned to the God of Darkness for help. The God of Darkness, thinking he has a worshiper and follower, agreed to her request. However, the God of Light intervened and explained the situation to the God of Darkness, who corrected his mistake. The two of them then cursed Salem with immortality by bathing her in the Fountain of Life...that doesn't seem so bad, why did she turn bad again?......oh right, she wasn't able to join Ozma in the afterlife...damn...Salem was distraught that she could not die and be with her beloved, even trying to kill herself many times, none of which succeeded but however, she decided she could use her gift to get revenge on the gods. She went around the world, flaunting her immortality and claiming she stole it from the gods. She would describe the gods as being able to be overthrown, leading to a massive human revolution against the gods. When humans tried to kill the gods, the God of Darkness wiped out everyone in the world except for Salem, and the gods abandoned the world as a "Remnant" of what it once was-oh so that's why it's called that, clever...but before the god of light left, he said these words: As long as the planet turns, you shall forever walk the face of it, Salem wandered the world for centuries as life returned to it, but only desired to die. She eventually came across the God of Darkness' Grimm Pool, which she thought would counter the Fountain of Life and finally kill her. She dove in, but was not killed, but rather transformed into an entity craving destruction while also given authority over the Grimm, so like a queen of a beehive? I hope it's not entirely like that, I don't wanna get stung.

Powers And Ablities

• Energy Blast - She can create a ball of energy that sends out a continuous, lightning-like blast of energy. She can use it to cause extreme pain.
• Indestructibility - According to the magical creature named Jinn, Salem cannot be killed by any means. Hazel Rainart tried repeatedly to kill her, with her cooperation, but failed every time.
• Magical powers - She has a skill with magic that is on par with or even exceeding that of the Maidens.
• Superhuman strength
• Ability to communicate with or control Creatures of Grimm.
• Also capable of spontaneously mutating Grimm

Ewan: PLOT TWIST! Ozma was given the chance by the God of Light to return to Remnant and reunite humanity, Once he did, he could gather the relics of knowledge, creation, choice, and destruction to summon the gods again and have them once again live among them. However, if humanity was still divided when they returned, the gods would wipe the world clean again. Ozma agreed to the task so he could be with Salem again, and returned in a new body. He found Salem, and the two reunited, though she blamed the destruction of the old world on the gods and Ozma did not tell her of his task....DUDE! This is your girlfriend and-oh I give up arguing! Seeing each other as immortal beings, Salem suggested they use their powers to become the new gods of the world. Ozma reluctantly agreed, and the two grew a following as god-like beings, establishing a kingdom. The two quickly married and started a family, parenting four daughters..oh...that doesn't sound too bad....but this is RWBY...so there's a dark twist..

Salem's ambitions grew stronger, and her desire to rule over humans began to become her one goal and obsession. Ozma, fearful of the person she had become, explained to her why he had been sent back. She didn't mind this and stated instead that she plans on replacing the current humans with magical humans from their bloodline. Alas, such dreams would come to a tragic and brutal end when Ozma, finally unable to tolerate Salem's malicious ways any longer, tried to sneak away with their children. Salem caught them and betrayed, furiously attacked Ozma. Although Ozma was the more powerful warrior, Salem's immortality allowed her to emerge victorious as though he was able to kill her, she would simply resurrect until he was finally too injured to be able to fight back anymore and Salem killed him while condemning Ozma for not being able to just settle in with her, as their daughters were killed in process...told you! Sometime later, Salem then found out that if the relics were gathered, the gods would be summoned and she planned to find and unite the relics after she had divided humanity so when the gods would see how divided the world still was, it would be destroyed and Salem along with it, finally giving her the eternal beauty sleep, unfortunately Salem identified Silver-Eyed Warriors as being threats to her Grimm conquest, and began working on wiping them all out....Gary Oldman much? This included hiring Tock to assist in the genocide. At some point, Salem was challenged by Summer Rose, a Silver-Eyed Huntress and mother of Ruby Rose, and presumably killed her, the encounter being enough of a fight that she seemed to respect Summer for her capabilities and courage, this proved that Salem is one of, if not the greatest threat of Remnant..

Death Battle witnesses SMG0's arrival

Ewan: The world of SMG4 is many things, calling it strange would just be an understatement as it all began in 2011 with Mario finding out....wait...there's 19 more pages of this? Oh hell no, I ain't going that far! Imma just skip to main part we're talking about, During the SMG4 10 year anniversary movie, Something blocked SMG3's return to the Internet Graveyard and thus the memes he brought with him started to become corrupted, forcing the gang to fight them, while they lost, some got away but Mario, SMG4, SMG3, X and FM got taken to an abandoned cathedral in the Dark Web, told you that place was bad!

Ewan: It was there that X and FM got turned into lifeless husks along with all the other Mario lookalikes around them...I know it's called the Dark Web but Christ...Desperate, they managed to escape from the cathedral, before Mario was then captured by this being that 'killed' the others, for now, we shall refer this being as 'Zero', trying to find any form of communication, SMG4 and SMG3 ventured into the Dark Web valley, later stealing live-stream equipment for any contact and as luck may have it, Bob was streaming on the Dark Web, no comment on that, it's Bob, Zero then captured them as they made the massage yet was sealed away by what surprisingly turned out to be an SMG1 and SMG2 who were sucked along with Zero into SMG3's USB-like 'Guardian Pod' which then activated the antivirus to seal Zero in with SMG1 and 2 still inside, the world was safe...for now...as the pod's Antivirus was about to expire...implying his inevitable return...as SMG4 searched for his USB in the Dark Web, Bob got side-tracked and found himself with SMG3's USB, as he left, an ominous eye followed him from the USB, it was clear that Zero was not completely contained...as Mario and SMG4 found SMG1 and SMG2's USB, they learned that what almost happened to SMG4 and Mario had already happened to SMG1, SMG2 and their avatar...ToyToy Kingdom was their home and their Avatar was called Spudnick this world...no...universe was like the one we know and love until a black and USB appeared and Zero emerged from it, he then bypassed Spudnick's immortality and killed him but before he finished him, he said...

Ewan: But why? We'll be told later...as the Universe was collapsing as everyone evacuated, SMG1 then put Zero back in his USB but not before his arm got out and in the SMG's USB, the main body stayed while the sentient arm travelled with SMG1 and SMG2....as SMG4 and Mario left, the eye followed Bob had followed them and used the remaining tech to remotely call his USB to him, a few days later, Zero’s USB enters into the Mushroom Kingdom, where it crash lands into a field and multiple Shrek's kidnapped Mario, SMG4 and Axol gave chase yet SMG4's body was then used to gain access to the USB Zero's eye drone began rushing into the USB, before eventually being crushed by Mario, but the door was left open and Mario, the universes avatar was vulnerable but Axol was captured instead and inside, he saw him as Zero touched his head, rendering the fish boi unconscious, oh dear....The USB then spat Axol out and flew away and travelled to the top of Peach's Castle, Bob and Swagmaster threw things at it, but to no avail, that's not all that happened, as Axol made a speedy recovery, but not everything was as it seemed....Swag and Chris then decided to nuke it to destroy it while everyone went to the bunker, Peach however prevents them from doing so because this would also blow up her entire castle, bitch stfu, the universe is at stake here, I don't think your castle is the only thing you should worry about, they manage to nuke it anyway and almost everything was destroyed, key word: Almost, in the bunker, Mario needed a piss and was sucked in through the toilet, or as I like to call it: The Crapper, into the back rooms and found out that SMG4 and SMG3 were also there as they too needed to piss, they then found themselves with SMG3's USB and Axol who was being controlled by Zero, deforming him, Zero then became Eldritch Axol Stage I and then trapped SMG4, SMG3 and Mario inside the USB, they got out thanks to the help of SMG1 and SMG2, but Mario was in danger, Zero had him and was going to what he did to Spudnick but not before the gang interrupted, freeing Mario but Zero then entered Eldritch Axol Stage II and began chase, they fought hard but it was no use as he then got his hands on Mario again and this time, his goal was clear as day, it wasn't to kill Mario, it was to use him and make a new universe with his own avatar, just like his old one, he then entered Eldritch Axol Stage III, and now we shall refer him as SMG0

Ewan: SMG0 Did battle with them and the battle was just about to end, it was then that Melony had to do the unthinkable and kill Axol thus killing SMG0 once and for all....or did she? as Melony attended U.A-I MEAN! Omnia Academy, she met an odd looking fella known as Niles who was an absolute twat to her, provoking her, teasing her, just being an outright dick, but he did eventually start to help her train, it was only a matter of time and then, he revealed who he was...he could only be seen by her, he had no other eye, the eye he had then turned red and had a 0 for a pupil, he was SMG0, possessing her, he used her body to get to the God Box, SMGs 1, 2, 3, 4 and Mario followed, once there, they found and nearly died to Anti-Meme energy, it was then that they entered a universe that was empty yet had one being who then took them to his place and helped them, this was...SMG0?! and now the full story is revealed....

Ewan: SMG0 and his avatar Fred had their own universe just like the others back then, it was peaceful and perfect until the memes in the area became corrupted, after a while, they became uncontrollable, thus SMG0 was summoned by the God Box and gave him Niles who helped him create the Internet Graveyard and the Meme Life Cycle, it was perfect again....until Niles became corrupted and saw his home as he then prayed to the God Box for answers, thus he got one, kill all universes to make one perfect universe but in the crossfire..he killed Fred, his avatar was dead, the universe was about to collapse but Niles didn't care and fused with the unwilling SMG0 and became a monster known as Super Meme Genocide 0 and when Melony killed Eldritch Axol, SMG0 split and one half was the meme guardian who went to his universe which was empty and the other was Niles who latched onto Melony, Niles then fused with SMG0 once more the monster was reborn now with a new thing on the to-do list; Destroy all other SMGs but there was only one thing standing between that and him, Melony who proved to be too much for him, as the God Box was being destroyed, SMG0, the Monster, not the Meme Guardian, managed to catch up partway through it's destruction yet SMG0, the Meme Guardian, not the Monster, broke free and was able to stop Niles, who was still desperately trying to create a perfect universe for the two of them by harnessing the power from the God Box, after being told that being together was all they needed to be happy, Niles, finally at peace, went hand in hand with SMG0 into the afterlife as the God Box exploded, this was two things, the end of SMG0 and a warning, should there be a giant USB that came from the skies, it opens and you see a red eye with the number 0 on it...you have two options, run...or Witness

Niles: You and I are going to make the perfect universe! T0GETHER! HEHEHEHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Salems domain

A weird glitchy portal opens in the main room of her castle

Salem: "..." She glances at Tyrian and Neo to look to which the do, only for them to get impaled by...Cinder? "Cinder Fall! What is the meaning of this!?"

Cinder: "..." She didn't answer, but she removed her eyepatch and revealed her eye had a red 0 and she then snapped her own neck, killing her and right behind her was Niles, he walked up to Salem as his eye then changed to 0

Niles: "The Relic of Creation! I know you have it! Give it to me!"

Salem: "You are in no position to give demands to me mortal!"

Niles: "Fine...I'll take it myself!"

FIGHT!!!

Salem: "Attack!" She then pointed at him as she commanded 3 Hound Grimm to kill him but Niles grabs one and tears its arm off then shoves it down it's throat then he did the same with the other, he was then bitten by another then grabbed by Salem, she was going to turn him but his eye glowed as he breaks free

Niles: "Sorry, I'm not one to be controlled" He looks up and sees a flying PINGAS "I do the controlling!!" he then uses his power to manipulate it and forms armor around him

Salem: "May I ask what the hell is that?"

Niles: "It's armor made of a Meme, one that'll be your end!" He then charges at her as she prepared to attack but he was too fast as he smashed her in the face (with his fist) which made a large hole in her head yet she was still standing "What?!"

Salem: "Did you really think it would be as easy as killing me?" She started to regenerate and let out an energy blast which dented the PINGAS armor, Niles ran towards her but she sent Grimm after him to keep him occupied, she was preparing something, Niles was just too fast for the Grimm, he then duplicated himself to hold them off. he then charged at Salem only to find it was Cinder's corpse he attacked, Salem then then grabbed him with shadow hands that then tore the PINGAS armor off, she then stabbed him in the eye

Niles: "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! IMPOSSIBLE I AM AN SMG! I AM PERFECTION INCARNATE!!!!" Salem then tore his jaw off and then his head

Salem: "Pitiful..."

KO!

Ewan: Wait...what? I thought.....well I guess on paper it makes sense, after all Salem is far stronger and smarter than Niles....but something doesn't add up......oh well!

SMG0: "OR IS SHE?"

The Death Battle Continues

Salem: She then hears this and looks outside, it was darker than usual, she went out and...."What in Grimm's name?!" It was a giant, it had a red eye with a large 0 on it

SMG0: He eyed Salem "I warned you to hand over the relic! Now you shall perish!"

Salem: !!! "The clones!" She realised that when Niles duplicated himself, he sent one away to transform into the monster, she then summoned a giant Grimm, this one was even bigger than SMG0 "CRUSH HIM!" The Giant Grimm then charged at SMG0 as it then swung it's arm at him.

SMG0: "Pathetic!" He then stops it by grabbing it, Salem was surprised as SMG0 then started to do something, The Giant Grimm then falls, it was dead

Salem: "I-Impossible!" She then was about to summon more but SMG0 grabs her and starts attacking the ground, he was going for the core of Remnant

SMG0: "Fine, I won't be needing it I'll do it myself!" He keeps heading to the core, dragging Salem through the tunnel as she was getting absolutely destroyed physically, he then reached the core and saw an Anti-Meme, grabbing it, he used it, this caused the core to become unstable

Salem: She then closed her eyes but when they opened, she human again and was somewhere else "What?!"

Ozma: "Hey Salem, it's been a while"

Salem: "Ozma?! But how?!" But when she blinked, she then saw that she was Grimm again as she was looking in a mirror...but the reflection moved on it's own and smiled "N-no! Imposible!"

Eldritch Salem: It then looked horrendously deformed, missing some textures and had a 0 for an eye "You failed!" back in the real world, Salem had died as SMG0 had destroyed remnant

SMG0: "Witness..."

KO! For Real This Time!

Ewan:..............................................okay I think it's real this time, now then Salem was a unique challenge for SMG0, She was immortal but He has bypassed immortally before, the first time was unintentional, also SMG0 was just too fast and powerful for her, now Salem could win if it was just Niles as he had no way to bypass her curse and needed his true form, the duplications solved this problem of how he would turn, but she cannot be killed right? right, she can't but that leads to another question, could SMG0 bypass Salem's immortality and take the win? Yes, he could easily destroy Remnant and remember, the curse is 'As long as the planet turns, you shall forever walk the face of it' so that means one thing, no more planet, no more Salem, The Queen definitely proved herself to be Remnants deadliest combatants but the former Meme Guardian had the perfect counters, bigger numbers and was the deadlier Virus, Looks like Salem's chances of winning were '0'
