- The Connection between SMG0/Niles and Mephiles (The Connection was taken from This):
- Both are the most dangerous villains in their respective series who take a demonic form of another character (Mephiles taking up the apperance of Shadow and SMG0 possessing Axol).
- They both have certain goals that involve the protagonist and the destruction of the world (Mephiles wanting to kill Sonic to make Elise cry, which will release Iblis from her, and SMG0 wanting to make Mario his new avatar to create a new universe for him).
- They also nearly destroyed the universe, and they wanted to gain some powerful artifacts (the Chaos Emeralds and Guardian Pods respectively).
- They were once sealed in something (Scepter of Darkness and a Guardian Pod), and when they were released the heroes tried to use that same method again, but failed.
- Finally, they’re infamously known for who they’ve killed (Mephiles murdered Sonic in cold blood, and Melony was forced to kill Axol to beat SMG0).
