Description[]
Marvel vs Transformers! A death battle between two big characters based on a rhinoceros. Rhino's strength vs Rhinox's brains.
Intro[]
Wiz: Within the animal kingdom, the rhinoceroses are large, herbivorous mammals identified by their characteristic horned snouts. Overtime, the rhinoceros has inspired many different characters.
Boomstick: Like the Rhino, Spiderman's heavy, armored supervillain.
Wiz: And Rhinox, the defense officer of the Maximals.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win.
Boomstick: In a DEATH BATTLE!
Rhino[]
Wiz: Aleksei Sytsevich was just another thug in the Russian Mafia, grasping at dreams for easy money, and headed for a short brutal life. Craving for the promises of wealth and power, Aleksei went to work for Eastern Bloc scientists. The scientists subjected him through a process that covered him in artificial skin, which granted him superhuman strength and endurance. After being empowered, Aleksei Sytsevich rebels against the scientists and smashes their laboratory to pieces.
Boomstick: Given the code-name Rhino, his first mission was to kidnap the son of Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson, and sell him to the highest bidder. He received intensive training in American English and false citizenship papers bearing the name Alex O'Hirn. Feeling cocky, he turned on his benefactors, destroying their headquarters, and attempted to abduct Jameson's son by himself. As the Rhino made his way towards New York City he was stopped by a familiar face: Spider-Man.
Wiz: After serving his entire prison term, Rhino is approached by the same scientists from before, who experiment on him with gamma radiation (The same thing that gave The Incredible Hulk his super-powers) to increase his strength. The scientists also equip him with a more durable, suit that "compliments" the gamma ray procedure, granting the Rhino even more strength while wearing it. The scientists then order Rhino to kidnap Bruce Banner for his knowledge of gamma radiation, which the Rhino agrees. The Rhino then trains to fight the Hulk. However, the Rhino finds himself easily overpowered during the battle. The Hulk shrugs off Rhino's strongest blows and pummels him to the brink of death, and leaving him in a coma.
Boomstick: After having an increase in his losing streak Rhino joins the supervillain group, the Sinister Six to battle Spider-Man. He still lost...
Wiz: Thanks to the experiments, Rhino is able to lift more than 75 tons and up to 100 tons with his suit on. That is the strength to lift a blue whale. Despite his large size Rhino can run up to 90mph, although once he is running at top speed, it is difficult for him to change direction.
Boomstick: The horns on his head can penetrate 2-inch plate steel and his suit is acid resistant. You know I always wondered how he goes to the bathroom.
Wiz: Well the suit is bonded to his body and can't be removed.
Boomstick: I have so many questions.
Wiz: Back to analyzing him, he is able to resist explosions equivalent to 1 ton of TNT, the impact of small anti-tank weaponry and extreme temperatures between -50˚ and 1.000˚F without his suit cracking or melting.
Boomstick: Rhino can derail a train, was able to punch Nova into orbit, can destroy a building, killed the New Rhino, and also survived getting a heavy beatdown by Hulk.
Wiz: He can bust through a heavy metal door with ease and his horn penetrated grey Hulk's flesh, but grey Hulk is weaker than green Hulk.
Boomstick: Now Rhino sounds impressive, but he gets his ass kicked so many times!
Wiz: He has been defeated by the Hulk on numerous times and on their first encounter Hulk shrugs off his strongest blows, pummels him to the brink of death, and leaves him in a coma. Rhino has been defeated by Spider-Man on about every encounter. He was defeated by Luke Cage on one occasion and was once injured by the Punisher, who was using a high tech S.H.I.E.L.D. weapon.
Boomstick: He has no long-ranged weapons, possesses the brain of a peanut, and is predictably rageful; making him easy to trick and trap. He also gets dizzy pretty easily, cannot swim due to his weight, and can overheat because his armor makes it difficult for him to sweat!
Wiz: While having a terrible losing streak, the Rhino still never gives up and will continue his rampage until he gets what he wants.
Rhino: "Lead me to the Hulk... now! The Rhino'll make mincemeat out of 'im!!"
Rhinox[]
Wiz: Peace has returned to Cybertron after millennia of fighting, the Great Cybertronian Wars were over.
Boomstick: Until three hundred years later, a brand new Megatron emerges to command new troops, called the Predacons, to conquest. Wow, no one saw this coming...
Wiz: Using special transwarp technology, Megatron and his Predacons were able to time travel to earth in its prehistoric days. Optimus Primal and his team of Maximals followed in hot pursuit, eventually landing on the planet's surface. However, there was so much energon that prolonged exposure would damage their bodies, so both factions were forced to scan and take organic forms from local creatures. This is the reason why they transform into animals rather than vehicles. One of these Maximals was Rhinox, a defense officer of the Maximal's ship the Axalon. He was a good and loyal friend of Optimus Primal, and shown to be generally capable of leadership. However, Rhinox dislikes babysitting the other Maximals and the loss of i
ndependence that comes with being a full-time leader. He and Optimus Primal's respect for one another is so strong that Rhinox is the only Maximal that Optimus Primal seeks advice from. This causes some mild jealousy among the other Maximals.
Boomstick: Huh, if Optimus Prime's descendent asks advice from him he must be pretty good.
Wiz: Very, Rhinox has a brilliant mind and a thirst for peace and justice. He does whatever it is that is asked of him, even if some requests seem to be impossible to accomplish. But being the resourceful engineer that he is, Rhinox always finds a way.
Boomstick: He is considered to be second-in-command to Optimus Primal and often serves as his enforcer, keeping the other troops in rank.
Wiz: Rhinox is a tech savvy. His great size and strength is another one of his advantages, in addition to his incredible quick thinking and problem solving skills.
Boomstick: And he's got plenty of firepower. Rhinox transforms into a tan rhinoceros allowing him to ram and impale his opponents with his horn. In robot mode, his primary weapons are two spinning blade-gun/double mace-thing/lawn edge trimmers, called the "Chainguns of Doom". These bad boys can mow down Predacons and slice them apart like butter. His tail also detaches to become a blade for shanking and he has two flails.
Wiz: Being a Cybertronian, Rhinox has superstrength and a high durability allowing him to tank a lot of damage. He's fast enough to dodge lasers and missles. He also has animal like senses shown when the Predacon, Scorponok tested an experimental bomb on the Maximals, rendering them blind, it was Rhinox who led the group on the dangerous trek back to the Axalon, using and teaching the others with their other senses.
Boomstick: He also has some impressive feats. One time Rhinox was captured and reprogrammed into a Predacon by Megatron using the "Transmuter". However, the newly malevolent Rhinox proved to be too dangerous for even Megatron to handle. Rhinox was able to quickly dispatch most of the Predacons by himself! Eventually working his way up to Megs himself in an attempted coup. Rhinox nearly succeeded, but fortunately, Megatron was able to revert him back into a Maximal using the Transmuter.
Wiz: Now Cybertronians can only be killed if their spark is destroyed. For those who don't know, a spark is the lifeforce or soul of a Transformer.
Boomstick: Meaning you can blow them up, crush them into a cube, or chop them up into pieces, but as long as their spark is safe and sound they should still be alive.
Wiz: When the Maximals returned to Cybertron from the Beast Wars, they were infected with Megatron's virus, Rhinox was not as lucky as most of his comrades. Rhinox was immediately paralyzed and overtaken by Megatron's Tank Drones. His spark was forcibly removed and stored in a canister in Megatron's citadel. Megatron used Rhinox's spark to power his tank general Tankor. However, when the Maximals woke Tankor's spark, tainted and embittered by his time inside Tankor, Rhinox rejected the Maximals and embraced Megatron's plan for a "peaceful", technologically-pure Cybertron, only with himself at its head instead of Megatron.
Boomstick: Rhinox was stopped when Primal opened the Plasma Energy Chamber and Megatron fired the Key. The ensuing clash of energies destroyed Tankor's body, and his spark joined the Allspark. Primal met Rhinox's spark one last time within the Allspark, where Rhinox expressed regret over his recent actions. What a tragic end...
Wiz: While Rhinox is with the Allspark he is still remembered as a transformer with the perfect combination of brawn and brains.
Rhinox: "Make a device to extract molecular structure from an alien probe... man, I gotta be a miracle worker!"
Intermission[]
Wiz: The combatants are set and ready for battle.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
DEATH BATTLE[]
The streets of New York City are destroyed. Cars are flipped over, people are panicking, and buildings have crumbled. Rhino smashes through the walls of a bank.
Rhino: Everyone out of the way or you get the horn!
People quickly scurry out of the building. Rhino easily breaks through the bank's security and comes across the vault. Using his super strength he rips the door right off.
Rhino: hehe, shiny.
As Rhino is picking up as much gold as he could carry, a tan rhinoceros rams into him through one of the walls. Rhino is tackled out of the bank and onto the streets in front of some armed cops. The cops aim their weapons at Rhino.
Cops: Put your hands up Rhino!
Rhino gets up onto his feet confused, wondering what hit him.
???: Don't worry people, I got this under control!
Rhino turns around to face a tan, robotic looking rhinoceros. The rhinoceros transforms into his robot form revealing Rhinox who towers over Rhino. The cops back away from the fight that is shortly going to occur.
Rhinox: Afraid?
Rhino: I'm not afraid of anything!
Rhino aims his horn at Rhinox's chest and charges.
FIGHT![]
Rhinox grabs Rhino by the horn and plants his feet onto the ground. The concrete falls apart underneath him as Rhino slowly pushes forwards.
Rhino: I'm going to impale you tin can!
Rhinox lifts Rhino into the air and slams him head first to the ground. Rhino pulls his head out and grunts after spitting out some rocks. He elbows Rhinox in the face before upper cutting him into the air.
Rhinox: I didn't expect such strength from a human!
Rhinox flies into a building. Rhino charges into the building and destroys all of its ground support. The building collapses to the ground with Rhinox inside.
Rhino: Easy peasy.
Rhino rubs his hand together before walking away. Rhinox, still in fine condition climbs out of the rubble and throws a car. The car hits Rhino in the back.
Rhinox: Is that all you got?
Rhino attempts another charge, but Rhinox takes out his two flails. Rhinox wraps one of the flails around Rhino's legs tripping him. However, Rhino breaks his legs free. Rhinox wacks Rhino left and right with his last flail. Rhino grabs the metal ball at the end of the flail and crushes it. Rhino then jump tackles Rhinox into another building.
Rhino: I'm impenetrable!
Rhinox: Your face isn't.
Rhino: Wait wha-
Rhinox punches Rhino through the ceiling. Rhino falls down and crashes hard onto some cars, which explodes during the impact. The explosions weren't enough to defeat the Rhino though. Rhino grabs a nearby bus and chucks it. Rhinox reacts by slicing it in half using his tail blade. Rhinox slashes at Rhino but not even his blade could penetrate Rhino's armor. Rhino disarms Rhinox and his blade before punching him to the ground.
Rhino: No one can beat the Rhino!
Rhino grabs Rhinox by the leg and using most of his strength and energy he spins him around and around before throwing Rhinox randomly across New York. Rhino wipes some sweat off his face and begins to overheat. However, Rhino doesn't care and follows in pursuit of Rhinox. Rhinox awakes and gets back onto his feet. He looks around.
Rhinox: hmmm, I appear to be at the city's docks.
Rhinox looks at the water and being the resourceful and intelligent Maximal he is, comes up with a plan to beat Rhino. Several minutes later Rhino arrives at the docks. Rhino discovers the crater of his opponent but with no body. Behind him Rhinox jumps out of his hiding place.
Rhinox: Here's the big guns!
Rhinox takes out his Chainguns of Doom and opens fire. The chainguns cause Rhino to stumble closer and closer to the water. Rhino aims his head down and charge meanwhile, Rhinox transform into his beast mode and also charges. The two collide causing a strong shockwave, the area around them shakes from the collision. Rhinox transforms back into his robot mode and begins sawing Rhino with his chainguns. Rhino roars at Rhinox and suplexes him.
Rhinox: You know you look a little tired?
Rhino: I'm not tired just really really hot...
Rhinox: Well, If you're going to kill me then do it like the rhino you are! Come on ram into me, impale me!
Rhino: You asked for it!
Rhino is tired from fighting but attempts his final charge anyway. However, this was all part of Rhinox's plan. He rolls out of the way just in time for Rhino to run straight off the docks and into the water. To ensure his defeat Rhinox dives into the water as well. Rhino flails around while Rhinox continues to swim and push him deeper and deeper. Minutes go by and eventually Rhinox resurfaces. He drops the motionless body of Rhino onto the ground.
Rhinox: Time to go smell some flowers.

Boomstick: Well if you don't mind me I'm going to add this to Rhino's losing streak.
Wiz: Knock yourself out. The two combatants are pretty even in terms of durability and speed. While Rhino most likely has the strength advantage, he basically lacks in all the other categories.
Boomstick: Rhinox has a way bigger arsenal of weapons to keep Rhino at a distance, and also has an edge in having way more experience in combat and war.
Wiz: Arguably the biggest factor in this fight was comparing their intelligence. This would obviously go to Rhinox considering he was able to come up with a plan to revive Optimus Primal and has invented several creations of his own. Rhino on the other hand has below average intelligence.
Boomstick: As a villain Rhinox singlehandedly took down the Predacons using nothing but his strength and intellect. As Tankor, Rhinox was able to almost manipulate both Optimus Primal and Megatron into killing each other, so that he can take control of Cybertron for himself. Meanwhile, Rhino gets tricked by Spider-Man and plenty of other superheroes all the time.
Wiz: The winner is Rhinox!
Rhinox: "I will usher in a new age of technological perfecti—er, I mean, yay, pretty flowers."
