As the driver of the Aegis, Rex is able to use any Blade, including those bonded to his allies, such as Dromarch (Nia's Blade) and Bridgid, Morag's Blade. Most Blades have an incredible healing factor, and are capable of bouncing back from most injuries as long as their Core Crystal remains in one piece. However, this rule does NOT apply to Pyra, Mythra, and Pnuma, due to Pyra giving Rex half of their life force. All Blades can give Rex a weapon and control over an element. Weapons can be passed between Rex and his Blades at will, allowing one to fight while the other recovers. This is especially useful due to
