Description[]
Marvel Comics vs DC Comics! What happens when two military empowered, nigh-unstoppable brutes, who hated "supers" come across each other? Chances are, they either team-up or... in most random encounters, do epic, ground-breaking battle!
Interlude[]
(*Cues: Invader - Jim Johnston*)
Wiz: In comic book land, most people admire and appreciate super heroes for protecting them out of harm's way, and keeping the world safe from impending doom. While others... not so much.
Boomstick: There were always "those" who despised freaks in spandex and leotards, and would do nefarious methods to elimate them out of the equation. Even becoming the "very thing" they hated most in life just so they could combat these "saviors" more effectively. And it works damn well, too!
Wiz: Like with General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross. A.K.A, the Red Hulk.
Boomstick: And General Wade Eiling. A.K.A, the shaved Shaggy Man!
Wiz: *AHEM!*
Boomstick: Oh, come on! That's one awesome name! *Sigh* I meant, A.K.A, The General... Happy?
Wiz: Satisfied...
Boomstick: Alrighty! He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Red Hulk[]
(*Cues: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order - Mutant Melee*)
Wiz: The Incredible Hulk. A mighty green monstrous being with raging fury of unmeasurable power who smashes anything in his way.
Boomstick: Who in their right mind would even try to stop these chunk of muscle!? Only an idiot with an absolute death wish would dare mess with him!
Wiz: Well, there are many who meddle with the Hulk, actually.
Boomstick: It's their death sentence then.
Wiz: The government have issued an order to tried and capture the Hulk on his rampage throughout the state. The military was the first to pursuit the green goliath. But overtime, heroes lend a helping hand on the pursuit of the Hulk, and to the extreme, even villains have assisted in the task of chasing down and apprehending the Hulk.
Boomstick: These guys must be really desperate to even hire the badguys on some manhunt.
Wiz: But due to the destructive nature of the Hulk, he gave all of his pursuers a hard time subduing him. And eventually, they gave up on him on the long run.
Boomstick: I would too after facing the savage ferocity of the Hulk! The green goliath have faced dozens of problems as a fugitive. And with his mighty strength, none dared to mess with him for too long. However, there is one who never gave up pursuing the green monster. The Deputy U.S. Marshal, Samuel Gerard! A.K.A., Tommy Lee Jones!
Wiz: *Sigh*
Wiz punches Boomstick with his robot arm.
Boomstick: Ahah! What the hell, Wizard!!
Wiz: What my collegue "meant" was General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross. Isn't that right?
Boomstick: Uhh, yeah! I meant to say his name of course! I don't know what came over me earlier...
(*Cues: Marvel Ultimate Alliance - SHIELD Helicarrier (Flight Deck)*)
Wiz: Right... Thaddeus Ross was born to a New Hampshire family with a proud military background.
Boomstick: As a young kid, Ross already took a liking to military life and studied its history. When he later reached puberty, instead of divulging himself into the world of romance and screwing around with chicks, Ross instead entered country fairs to pilot planes!
Wiz: He later attended the United States military academy and graduated with expertise on the course. With his immense military knowledge and high eagerness, Ross quickly rose to the rank of Captain during World War II in the Pacific where he was greatly recognized for his operations and leadership in battle.
Boomstick: His troops gave him an awersome nickname of "Thunderbolt"! Due to his swiftness of striking like a thunder bolt whenever he lead his troops into action!
Wiz: With his great performance and achievements, Ross was quickly promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General after. He was later assigned to command the Desert Base in New Mexico, which is a missile and nuclear research facility.
Boomstick: General Ross dismissed his assignment as a "Desk Job" but still agree to oversee the weapon's program of Bruce Banner's Gamma Bomb Project. The General's hot daughter Betty, regularly visits her dad in the facility, which caught Bruce's interest other than the project he was working on, which greatly infuriated General Ross since he deems Banner a weakling. His urge to kill Banner escalated after learning that his daughter also pinned for the young scientist, but kept his cool. Until a freak(intentional) accident with the Gamma Bomb Project occurred which got Banner involved. Surprise surprise! Instead of melting Banner into a puddle, it transformed him into the Incredible Hulk! A major problem to society! Well, at first anyway.
Wiz: And with Bruce's mysterious and continuous disappearances, General Ross suspected him of having connections with the green goliath.
Boomstick: Connections? Duh! Hulk and Bruce are one and the same! Come on! Those missing and appearing coincidences are more than suspicious enough to notice! Considering Hulk was a highly dangerous menace to the world, the Pentagon specially assigned General Ross to spearhead "Operation Hulk", an operation specifically focus on pursuing, locating, subduing, and or killing the green angry giant. Good luck with that!
Wiz: General Ross began his long career of relentlessly hunting the Hulk down, while enjoying every bit of it as it's a massive improvement than his previous assignment overseeing the facility.
Boomstick: Over the course of hunting down the Hulk, General Ross succeeds on nearly capturing the green giant or either Banner multiple times. But everytime, Hulk somehow thwart the general's attempts and managed to escape full custody. Which got the general's blood boiling to capturing the Hulk even more.
Wiz: And overtime, it soon became a fanatical obsession to capturing the Hulk. General Ross slowly began his descend into madness and ruin.
Boomstick: Growing desperate over the course of years in pursuing the green goliath, and exhausting all of his options, General Ross finally decided to resort to illegal tactics.
Wiz: And by illegal tactics, organizing a deal to supervillains without orders from his superiors and their knowledge.
Boomstick: But even still, the failures continued pouring in which greatly affected the general's mental state and reputation. He was soon dishonorably discharged by the military after his illegal dealings were found. The old grizzled general became a drifter which further sunk his mind into insanity, showed up in his daughter's marriage and shot some kid, is later requested back into the force by the government, voluntered into an experiment involving a sentient alien creature, and... died. Yup. He dead.
(*Cues: Marvel Ultimate Alliance - SHIELD Helicarrier (Main Batteries)*)
Wiz: General Ross went through some unbelievable experiences before his passing. However, it was later revealed that General Ross was revived---
Boomstick:---by a mutant and some aliens afterwards! You think that was the end of him, huh? Well, too bad! We haven't been to the good part yet!
Wiz: Fueled by hatred of Bruce Banner, General Ross further vent his anger towards Banner and blamed him for killing his daughter with his gamma radiation.
Boomstick: It's complicated. With nothing left to lose, and with his killing point and insanity on the verge of its peak, General Ross finally decided on a crucial decision. "In order fight a monster, you need to become one yourself!" And undergoes an experiment that turned him into a ruthless, brutal, calculating, and gun-toting adversary of the Hulk!
Wiz: General Ross made a deal with the villains (MODOK, & Samson) to be transformed into something he hated the most, a Hulk, and pledge service under them in return for reviving his daughter. Using the satellites that siphoned off the gamma radiation from Hulk during his warbound rampage that reverted him back into human form, and with the combination of gamma radiation, and cosmic rays, it turned General Ross into one of the dreadful and powerful enemies of the Hulk, the Red Hulk.
(*Cues: Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite - Venom's Theme*)
Boomstick: Hell yeah! Red Hulk or Rulk, is very aggressive but tactically intelligent at the same time! Which makes him a dangerous foe. And like his original counterpart, is ridiculously strong! But unlike the Hulk who augments his strength through anger, Rulk augment his by further absorbing radiation to which we will explain later on. Rulk can leap vast distances in a single bound, even all the way to the moon and back in a brief period of time! Is quite agile and mobile despite his enormous size, have nigh-limitless stamina and endurance that allows him to fight for several days on end without stopping, can sustain himself without food, oxygen, and water for long extended periods, is extremely resistant to diseases, and have thick and dense muscle and skin that allows Rulk to withstand powerful blows and survive the most toughest and harshest environments, like dipping into molten Lava, and exploring the vacuum of space! He can breath in outer space too by the way.
Wiz: Most importantly, if Red Hulk is somehow hurt, his accelerated healing factor grants him incredibly fast regeneration, continually repairing his damaged tissues at a rapid pace whenever he receives wounds.
Boomstick: Even after having his eyes cut open by Wolverine's claws, Rulk could just regenerate new ones to replace them. Though, it will took a handful of time to recover back major organs. But aside from that, it also help's Rulk maintain a semi-permanent state of age by regenerating his cells to prevent him from aging. Heck! His regeneration ability also caused him to reverse the aging process! Essentially making himself physically younger than his real age intends! Granting him immortality of sorts!
Wiz: Longetivity...
Boomstick: Whatever. And Rulk can heal quicker by reverting back into his human form. Though it makes him a bit fragile, and vulnerable to aging, General Ross tends to stay in his Hulk form.
Wiz: But unlike the Hulk, General Ross can control his transformation. Even when extremely exhausted and unconscious, General Ross is able to stay in his Red Hulk form without reverting back into his human form. And take note that the grizzled general is not as fragile as he look in his human form. General Ross possesses a decent amount of strength, speed and agility than most standard humans, and could very much handle himself using his incredible military skills and tactics.
Boomstick: Whenever the Hulk get's angry, it increases his strength to magnanimous levels to the point of overpowering his foe. But Rulk on the other hand, increases his body temperature to extreme levels that he can light himself on fire! Especially when he's in rage mode! He's a walking calamity!
Wiz: Literally. Red Hulk's body temperature rises with his anger. Enough intense heat on his body constantly generates gamma radiation, allowing Red Hulk to burn everything he touches physically or within his vicinity. The heat Red Hulk produces is so intense, he can melt desert sand into glass, and even Thor's helmet. And whenever he emits too much gamma radiation, Red Hulk can weaponized himself by releasing the stored energy in his body all at once, essentially creating a powerful explosion full of radiation within his range to knock back or burn his enemies to cinder.
Boomstick: Though, creating an explosion is a great way to annihilate surrounding enemies, it makes Rulk vulnerable in return. Making him very dizzy afterwards, and further increase will cause him intense pain. That's why Rulk needs to release some of the stored heat before it reaches full gauge.
Wiz: Luckily though, Red Hulk can control his body heat to avoid overheating and hurting himself in the process. Red Hulk have shown capable of adjusting his body temperature when he burned Cable's techno-organic virus out of his system. Which, in a way, makes Red Hulk resist toxins and viruses.
Boomstick: Yeah, lucky him... Rulk is also capable of absorbing various types of energy. Radiation, Heat, Nuclear, Cosmic, and etc... He can augment his power to enormous levels by forcibly draining power from his enemies through physical contact, similar to Rogue, or even to an extent, within close proximity to his body. But unlike Rogue's method where she can use their power as her own, Rulk convert's them to add into his own force! Further magnifying his already huge power level! Rulk used this power to drained all of the Hulk's gamma energy, reverting him back into human form. Rulk also used this on some big-headed and would-be-Leader and drained all of his gamma energy, leaving him a vegetable. Rulk is the very nightmare of all energy-based beings!
Wiz: Although Bruce Banner had removed the energy draining from the Red Hulk because it was slowly killing him, it was later shown that Red Hulk still to have possess this ability.
Boomstick: Haha! Suck it Banner!
Wiz: Essentially making the Red Hulk immune to nuclear and radiation-based attacks. And with a taste from the power cosmic, Red Hulk was able to adapt to it which made him resistant to transmutation and other matter manipulation powers.
Boomstick: Like that time he absorbed all the power cosmic from the Silver Surfer, leaving the latter powerless on the ground and increasing his power level beyond the threshold! But due to extreme peril, Rulk take heed of Banner's warning and minimize the usage of his energy absorbing powers. But when Rulk is in human form, he can still passively absorb radiation. Weird.
Wiz: There are also some certain conditions in regards to Red Hulk's energy absorbtion powers. If Red Hulk abuse to overuse his energy absorbing powers too much, he will be unable to revert back into his human form. Certain negative energies also weakens Red Hulk whenever he absorbs them. And it's also unclear whether Red Hulk's increased of power still retains on him from the energies he previously absorbed.
Boomstick: Rulk is also prone to psychic attacks for a time. But with the help of a mental helmet to block psychic attacks, Rulk have adapted from it which allows him to resist some mental attacks.
Wiz: Like that time Red Hulk was sent to dealt with the X-Men where he had a brief skirmish with Emma Frost, a mutant with psychic powers, and Red Hulk was able to withstand her mental abilities.
Boomstick: That's it for Rulk's abilities. Let's proceed to my favorite topic now! The weapons! Rulk uses varied heavy weapons during missions, specifically, guns! Ergonomically designed for his giant hands, his primary weapon are his dual pistol hand cannons! Modified from a Helicarrier cannon, it packs power! Rulk also acquires a Rocket Launcher from Hulkbuster units, Gamma Grenades, which can unleash gamma explosions, and my favorite of all! The beautiful, Gatling Laser Cannon! A powerful rapid-fire gatling laser which, you guessed it! Obliterate all things in front of you to bits!
Wiz: And if weapons fail---
Boomstick: ---they never!
Wiz: Right... Red Hulk resorts to smashing everything with his bare fists. Copied from the Hulk, Red Hulk can also perform the same technique known as the Thunder Clap, a move that creates a poweful shockwave which can level forests, push back explosions, and even breaks tornadoes.
(*Cues: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order Theme*)
Boomstick: Rulk made a smashing impact upon his debut! He went out on a rampage killing Hulk's other mortal enemies, Wendigo & Abomination. Wrecked Tony Stark's helicarrier, and fought and overwhelmed heroes like the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men! That's one way of making a memorable entrance!
Wiz: Red Hulk went through a lot after that. He was defeated by his nemesis, the Hulk which put a stop to his rampage for a while. He later fought a group of superheroines called, the Lady Liberators which includes of---
Boomstick:---Marvel's hotties! I wouldn't mind getting gang-banged by them at once! Hehehehe.
Wiz: You would die if that happens, I'm afraid. In any case, Red Hulk later got recruited into a supervillain group known as the "Offenders" by the Collector, to get back at their enemies.
Boomstick: And like a villain who desires more power, Rulk naturally betrayed and killed his team, as well as their nemesis, before going right after Galactus with the power cosmic in his veins that he absorbed from Silver Surfer. But luckily! The crisis was reverted, and Rulk was sent back hard to Earth intact. Crazy to this point, he fought for the bad guys some more, and even attempts to take over the country himself! Until the big ol green giant thwarted his plans and got his ass done to him by his better.
Wiz: Red Hulk was then sent to a gamma based prison afterwards. And with his sanity returned, his nemesis convinced him to try using his powers for good. Persuaded, Red Hulk eventually joins the Avengers, and ultimately gained their respect after doing some major heroic deeds.
Boomstick: Red Hulk is an expert at cqc, is adept at multiple forms of guns and melee weapons, a master tactician and strategist, a competent leader, and is well-versed in modern and alien technology. These were those rare traits that makes Rulk unique from being a mere copy of the original.
Wiz: He also performed extraordinary feats that competes with his nemesis. He has taken on multiple superpowered beings at one time, effectively and decisively beating them multiple times too. Knocked out the Watcher, Uatu, with a single punch, fought the Hulk with a force of a nuclear explosion, and casually lifts and throws heavy objects like boulders, buses, a fighter jet, and his enemies with ease.
Boomstick: With hulk-like strength, Rulk sends most foes flying into the air with a mere strike, casually tears most metals, easily thrashes second rate Ironmen rip-offs called, Crimson Dynamos, destroys a huge comet heading towards Earth with a single smash, briefly withstood the pull of a black hole, broke free from Magneto's hold, and once gave A-Bomb a knuckle sandwich so hard, he caused a level 10 magnitude earthquake!
Wiz: Red Hulk is also capable of moving too fast, he can kept pace with a moving helicopter, and the likes of Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Terrax, and even the Silver Surfer.
Boomstick: Rulk is also ridiculously tough too! He's crazy enough to ram missiles head-on without visible injuries, endured having the Avengers Tower dropped on him, casually fought the X-Men with the powers of the Phoenix Force backing them up, took multiple hits from Cyclop's optic blasts, and tanks a massive explosion created by the Phoenix Five like it was nothing! Seriously, this guy is the very definition of tough and rough!
Wiz: You said it. Red Hulk even withstood his own punches, literally, casually took Hulk's strikes like their nothing, a lightning blast from Thor, and a beating from his hammer, which only gave Red Hulk a bloody nose and a smug.
Boomstick: Badass. He even survived a blast from Galactus! And withstood another blast from the leader of the Mayan Gods, Kukulkan. Heck! Rulk is even capable of holding his own against powerful foes such as Colossus Juggy, Red She-Hulk, Omegex, Angrir (an empowered Thing), Blackheart, Doc Green, and even overwhelmed cosmic beings like Thor, Terrax, the Silver Surfer, and Ikaris.
Wiz: Many have crumbled under the Red Hulk's sheer might and power. Even his own squad aren't safe from his wrath when enraged.
Boomstick: What a great leader! Casually beating his team to a pulp into following his every command! We definitely need men like him more!
Wiz: Uh, sure. However, as powerful as Red Hulk is, he is not without some flaws. Although he can took punishment from magical sorts, he have trouble fighting them due to their bizzare powers and effects, especially magic users who uses illusions as their forte. And also his cocksure and hotheadedness spells trouble and contributes to his defeat more times than not.
Boomstick: And despite his thick and durable skin, bladed weapons seem to effectively harm Rulk, as it causes him pain when stricken by sharp and pointy weapons. Although it will be difficult to thoroughly hurt him with his healing factor backing him up, it's still nonetheless a useful weapon against him.
Wiz: Over the course of General Ross's career, he didn't expect to become the very thing he hated the most until circumstances brought him to a dire path of no return. But even then, he overcomes the ordeals and becomes so much more than a proud war hero hellbent on taking down his target.
Boomstick: Too bad he was cured and returned to his old self again, and was later killed off, which sucks. But nevertheless! Rulk shines in places the Hulk doesn't! And is the sort of military brute that will complete his mission no matter what challenges lies ahead!
Red Hulk: Is that all? I've waited for this moment... All I have wanted, is this moment..! AND NOW!! NOW!!! I'M STRONGER!!!
The General[]
(*Cues: Injustice: God's Among Us - Stryker's Island (Prison Cell Block)*)
Boomstick: Before the monstrous Doomsday was awesome and an ultimate problem for the Justice League, there exist an enemy similar to the all-powerful Doomsday, that not even the combined might of the entire league could stop!
Wiz: This was the Shaggy Man.
Boomstick: Shaggy Man? Really?
Wiz: Yes. Funny as its name sounds. Shaggy Man is an artificial humanoid creation of Professor Andrew Zagarian that he based from the homo prerectus that dominated the planet billion years ago.
Boomstick: So... a caveman then?
Wiz: More akin to a sasquatch actually. Anyhow, the Shaggy Man is made of robotic parts mixed with a material called Plastalloy, along with a genetic enhanced salamander tissue to be the perfect pseudo life form.
Boomstick: Meaning, it feels no pain, possessed superhuman attributes, capable of growing back its limbs in seconds, and can adapt and resist to any kinds of attacks after having experienced it. Hooo boy! This seems familiar... hmm. And like any other scientific project, the experiment turned out quite... successful in a way! The professor created the ultimate robot whose only sole purpose is destruction and mayhem!
Wiz: The Shaggy Man was the typical result of a science gone wrong.
Boomstick: I'm watching you, Wiz! Always... don't you dare start on your Judgment Day project now!
Wiz: Quite being creepy, Boomstick. You're weird enough already. (How and when did he learn about my secret project?)
Boomstick: Wha? Why you good-for-nothing...!
Wiz: When the robotic creature came to life, it soon went out on a rampage which got the Justice League's attention.
Boomstick: Oh! I'll went on a rampage alright! Haaa!!!
Boomstick tackles Wiz which causes the camera to blackout. Intense fighting and shouting can be heard after.
(*Cues: After a few minutes later, the camera was fixed and was right back on the show.*)
Boomstick: Ah! Glad to have that over with! It feels good to vent your stress and anger on someone you absolutely hate once in a while!
Wiz: Nice of you to learn some new moves.
Boomstick: Why, thank you! And your upgrades were cool! Care to modify my shotgun legs after?
Wiz: Sure! When I have time.
Both shook hands like nothing happened earlier.
(*Cues: Injustice: Gods Among Us - Hall of Justice (Plaza)*)
Boomstick: Right then! Now were where we... Even though with the combined might of the entire league, they were still unable to defeat the damn thing, at best, only restrain the creature. And once they've exhausted all of their options on stopping the robotic sasquatch, they asked its creator to create another one! Great plan! Let the two nigh-unstoppable things fight each other to the death!
Wiz: And it worked! While both robotic creatures fought each other, it gave the league enough time to formulate a plan to restrain them for good. Putting the Shaggy Men's case into a closing.
Boomstick: Until some deucebag of a general who hated supers, salvaged the legendary creature from its containment. Ah, here we go again...
Wiz: A corrupt and manipulative general who would do anything to gain more power, even going through countless questionable acts to satiate his desire makes General Eiling a highly dangerous and capable individual.
Boomstick: Like a similar commanding old man wearing an official's uniform that I recently know of, General Eiling was assigned to oversee the atomic/nuclear projects on some covert military base/research facility somewhere hidden in the world. He tends to abuse his power by falsely accusing his peers and blackmailing them into volunteering themselves into the program. He's the main reason behind the creation of the nuclear superhero, Doctor Manhattan---oops! I mean, Captain Atom.
Wiz: General Eiling was also the reason for the creation Major Force, another nuclear being. His reasons for the inhuman acts he commits are for the sake of humanity and service to his country. General Eiling was sometime relegated to a position he described as "that of a pencil-pusher".
Boomstick: Which is a boring job. But unhappy with his situation and still regarding superpowered beings as a threat to humanity, General Eiling continued serving the military and the government with all of his unlawful abilities.
Wiz: Until he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
Boomstick: Which hit him like a speeding truck. Talk about karma. General Eiling was on his way to the grave, but being a man of passion hellbent on ridding the world of superpowered folks, the general orchestrated his ultimate plan to engaged an all out war against the Justice League. And to complete this, General Eiling needs to become something he absolutely hated the most. This probably will include some sciency stuff. So I'll let my co-host handle it from here.
(*Cues: Injustice: Gods Among Us - Stryker's Island (Prison Yard)*)
Wiz: Thanks. Outsmarting them at every turn, General Eiling successfully retrieved one of the body of the Shaggy Men (the first). The one enemy the Justice League could never actually defeat. And using a device to transfer thoughts, the synthetic metagene allowed the general to install his consciousness into the invulnerable body of the Shaggy Man.
Boomstick: The general was successful in his transmission, and now have the right kind of body to fulfill his ambition!
Wiz: General Eiling re-image his new body by shaving all the hair of the Shaggy Man to differentiate and create a new powerful persona who he then named, The General.
Boomstick: The General is an unbeatable biological war machine with a planetary level threat! He began his rampage fighting the Justice League, Superman included, before he was "defeated" by them. They managed to teleport him far away into space where he awaits to exact his revenge on them. Hopefully though, he was was later recovered and recruited into a league of supervillain led by Lex Luthor to wage war against the Justice League. Suffice to say, the General got his revenge for a bit before he was thrown into the Phantom Zone. A dimensional prison where the dangerously derange enemies of the Justice League were kept. This ends the poor bastard's story.
Wiz: Hold up! We're not through yet! *Ahem* It was unknown how the General escaped the dimensional prison.
Boomstick: After his escape, he continued his lifelong mission fighting superpowered beings (mainly heroes), and even joined another supervillain group until he was somehow captured and was forced into joining Task Force X. The sacrificial pawns of the government.
Wiz: Or better known as the Suicide Squad. A covert unit consisting of captured villains performing dangerous and illegal missions for the benefit of the U.S. Goverment.
Boomstick: The General greatly assisted the group with his enormous power and military prowess. But due to his crave for power, he betrays the team and almost instigate an uprising until his head got blown off. No worries though! His head later regenerated with only a slight dose of amnesia in it. Since then, he was highly contained in a maximum superhuman prison where he awaits further trial.
Wiz: General Eiling had extensive military training and expertise. He's an excellent leader, though he sometimes considers his men as acceptable losses in achieving his goal. He is also well-versed with almost any firearm, and is a brilliant strategist in where he takes advantage of almost any situations using tactical and cunning methods.
Boomstick: And combined with the incredibly powerful physiology and capabilities of the Shaggy Man, the General is a major threat in combat! He's extremely strong to the point that even Superman had trouble detaining him in a one on one fight! You could say, he manhandles the Man of Steel! Hehehe.
Wiz: The General's strength is even so vast, he can easily destroy skyscrapers, engage multiple superhumans at once, and lift 100 tons without any effort.
(*Cues: Injustice: Gods Among Us - Metropolis (Street)*)
Boomstick: And despite his huge bulk, he's surprisingly quick! He can keep up with the likes of Superman, Orion, Green Lantern, and others. Surprising most of them with his superhuman speed and agility. The General also have enhanced senses which let's him even sense one's own adrenaline through their sweat. Eww... and he is also capable of fighting for days without any signs of exhaustion, hunger, need of air, pain and etc... those important needs for normal humans in order to survive in life.
Wiz: The General can also adapt to any kinds of attacks and becomes immune to it afterwards.
Boomstick: Now why does that sound familiar?
Wiz: The General is also nigh-impervious to physical strikes, and could take massive amounts of damage without harm. Doesn't age by having a robotic body, is immune to diseases, possesses a regenerative healing factor with the genetically enhanced salamander tissue installed in his body allowing his wounds (even severe ones) to heal at incredible speed, to the point of instantly regrowing new limbs, and is highly capable of surviving harsh environments such as extreme temperatures, high pressures, and even the vacuum of space.
Boomstick: Great, as if Doomsday and Solomon Grundy aren't enough already!
Wiz: Possessing the body of the original Shaggy Man and with the tactical mind of General Eiling combined, the General is one of the toughest foes the Justice League have ever encountered.
(*Cues: Injustice: Gods Among Us - Themyscira (Port)*)
Boomstick: And since the General is just a smarter Shaggy Man (technically having the same body and all), their capabilities and feats are applicable to each other. Although the General was nerfed later on in regards to his healing factor, he still portray himself as the planetary level monster that makes his powerset accurately match/even to the original.
Wiz: The General easily punched through concrete, casually tear metals like paper, rips through multiple Carapex units, which one unit could handle fighting Superman for a while, was able to rip through the steel constructs holding him with ease, casually smacks around Superman and others flying with mere strikes, pushes through and resists tons of metal and steel from Polaris, and is even strong enough to break through a Green Lantern's construct.
Boomstick: And that's a really hard thing to do unless your someone powerful. Heck! Shaggy Man was even strong enough to bust through the highly enforced walls of the Justice League and knock their satellite out of orbit! He even casually fought and stalemated another Shaggy Man! Hmm... I wonder where's the second one hidden...
Wiz: Don't you dare have any funny ideas now! (Better hide my neural transfering device later just in case.) *Ahem* Shaggy Man's speed and reflexes were quick enough to tag the Flash, casually trade blows with the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman, and even outmanoeuvres a charging Man of Steel.
Boomstick: And thanks to his absurd instant regeneration and adaptation abilities, it makes him super hard to defeat! The General survives re-entry from the Earth's atmosphere, casually tanked and shrug off hits from Aztek, Superman, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman all at the same time, and took Steel's hammer striking at full force to the teeth like a boss! Holy crap! I gotta know what brand of toothpaste this guy's using!
(*Cues: Injustice 2 - Arkham Asylum (Cell Block)*)
Wiz: Uhh, you do know he's a robot with human consciousness right? The General once took an atomic bullet, which according to military experts, was even capable of taking out Superman in one clean shot, and the General wasn't even affected in the slightest. Even energy based projectiles proved ineffective against him, seeing he casually withstood barrage of energy blasts, is immune to high radiation being fired from Key's radiation rifle, and even withstood blasts from Orion's Astro-Force, which is powerful enough to blast down large starships and wound invulnerable super beings.
Boomstick: Holy mother nature! Who could even stand up to this original Doomsday like villain?
Wiz: Funny you mentioned it like that. The Shaggy Man was typically the first Doomsday like enemy of the Justice League. So in way, it's pretty hard to take him down without some contingency plans. Those oblivious of him gravely mistake their decisions fighting him. While those who knew of him wish they were somewhere far-away from his reach. And while mind powers work on him to a degree, the General was able to develop some minor resistances to it as he manages to overcome Count Vertigo's disorienting powers.
Boomstick: And while he can withstood most attacks, magic type folks prove tricky to a brute like the General, who rely mostly on strength in overpowering his opponents. Especially ones with illusion powers and the teleporting kinds.
Wiz: And despite transfering his mind into a body that adapts to become stronger and immune to almost everything thrown at it, it greatly affects General Eiling's mindset in return. Slowly turning him into a beastly brute by diminishing his tactical mind, making him predictable with his straightforward approach where a clever opponent could exploit. There's also a different Shaggy Man that was knocked out by a single powerful strike courtesy done by Wonder Woman. So perhaps the Shaggy Men aren't as impossible to defeat as many would have thought. Just difficult to put down.
Boomstick: Still... that's easier said than done! And although the General's regeneration ability was nerfed to a degree by slowing down its healing property, the General was still able to survive having his head blown off! Talked about an invulnerable, self-regenerating, and unstoppable monster! The General is truly quite the terror!
General Eiling bursts out from the facility and is holding a soldier in his grasp.
Soldier: Don't kill me!
General Eiling: I wouldn't kill you soldier. You're just doing your job.
He throws the soldier back and leaps into the air with a full moon in view.
General Eiling: And now, I'm going to do mine.
Pre-Fight[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, let’s end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
(*Cues: Quake 2: Sonic Mayhem - March of the Stroggs*)
In some weapon's research facility owned by Acme Corporation in a desert canyon, an alarm go off as the security forces attempts to gun down the huge bulky intruder raiding the facility, but their sophisticated weapons aren't ineffective against him.
Rookie: What the hell is that thing!?
Guard: It's one of them metahumans!
Officer: I don't care what it is! Just continue shooting the damn thing!
????: Poor choice of command.
The intruder was none other than the Red Hulk. He charges through the security forces like a battering ram and leaves them unconscious in his trail.
Red Hulk: Lousy good-for-nothing guards nowadays.
Red Hulk come across a huge metal vault and tears it down with ease. Inside was a vast room filled with collections of biological and cybernetic armament.
Red Hulk: So this is the motherload huh? Nice!
Red Hulk began to browse the wares and armed himself a few.
Red Hulk: Hah! Looks like christmas has come early this year!
Suddenly, another huge individual crashes through the metal ceiling of the facility and landed a few feet behind him. This was the General.
Red Hulk turns to face the other intruder as he holster one of his weapons unto his shoulder.
Red Hulk: Hey ugly! In case you didn't notice, this weapon's base is already taken! Find yourself the trouble of raiding another!
General: And why would I do that? I can have this place all to myself after you've been dealt with.
Red Hulk: You goddam ugly sonuva...!
Red Hulk aim his rocket launcher on the General.
Red Hulk: If you think I won't shoot, you're in for a big surprise.
General: (Sarcastic) Oh, now I'm scared.
Red Hulk: You should be.
Red Hulk launches a rocket towards the General and explodes upon impact. The explosion shakes the whole room.
Red Hulk: Dealt with! Huh...?
(*Cues: Quake 2: Sonic Mayhem - Adrenaline Junkie*)
But the General steps forward and walks out from the explosion unscathed.
General: Stupid lout. I can survived any attack!
Red Hulk: Is that right...?
Red Hulk discards his rocket launcher and readies his gatling laser cannon.
Red Hulk: Let's see how long that will take you!
General: I'm going to enjoy tearing you into bits.
The General dashes towards Red Hulk as the latter revs up his gatling cannon.
FIGHT!
(*Cues: Painkiller - Atrium Complex & Military Base Fight*)
The General withstood the shots and leaps forward to attack, but Red Hulk quickly smacks him using the weapon and sent the General smashing into some containers.
Red Hulk: Don't think it was easy now, did you?
The General gets back up and notices a weapon's cache.
General: Perfect.
The General picks up the huge machine gun from the weapon's cache and shoots back at Red Hulk.
Red Hulk: Whoa!
Red Hulk tanks the bullets fired, hardly feeling the attack.
Red Hulk: (Fight fire with fire eh?) Nobody outguns RED!
Red Hulk continue firing his weapon and mows down everything in its path. The General does the same which breaks many crates and containers. Both huge combatants tanks the shots fired, but the General soon ran out of ammo.
General: Tsk. Never rely much on firearms anyway.
The General charges at Red Hulk with his weapon.
Red Hulk: You're one brave jackass!
Red Hulk continues firing and lands several shots at the General to which the latter tanks without feeling anything. He throws his gun at Red Hulk which got the latter staggered. The General then unloads a heavy punch that sent Red Hulk crashing through most of the large crates and all the way to the wall at the ends of the room, and heavily dents it.
Red Hulk recovers and revs up his gatling cannon but was jammed due from the damage it took which Red Hulk discards.
Red Hulk: Alright! Now you've done it!
Red Hulk grabs his trusty hand cannons and unloads them at his opponent's direction. The General jump towards Red Hulk's position.
Red Hulk: The hell!?
Red Hulk side rolls and evades the crushing landing which leaves a crater around the General. Red Hulk continues firing his dual hand cannons.
Red Hulk: Why won't you go down already!?
General: Excellent suggestion.
With a powerful stomp, the ground trembles as the General unleashes a wave of stone heading towards Red Hulk and knocks him into some huge containers.
Red Hulk: Goddammit!
The General leap towards him.
General: Had enough?
One of the huge container rises as Red Hulk lifts it up.
Red Hulk: You kidding? I'm just warming up!
Red Hulk raises his temperature as his eyes flared before the General and throws the huge container at him. The General, with his own mighty strength, holds the enormous object.
General: I believe this belongs to you.
Red Hulk quickly caught a glimpse as he spots a nearby extinguisher near the General's position.
Red Hulk: You better hold on to it for a while!
And precisely shot it with his pistol which engulf the General, blocking his view. Red Hulk throws another container at him and knocks him down. He then grabs the other container earlier.
Red Hulk: Special delivery!
And smashes it at the General. The latter retaliates with a heavy blow and shoulder tackles Red Hulk which knocks him back.
Red Hulk: You think your stronger than me? Think again!
Red Hulk counter-attacks with his own, and the two trade blows. Red Hulk manages to block and counter as he land solid blows with his superior hand-to-hand combat and continues pummeling the General.
Red Hulk: (This is too easy!)
Getting careless, Red Hulk tries to land the next strike, but was caught by the General.
Red Hulk: (Or maybe not!)
General: My turn.
The General returns the favor and starts laying his own beat down on Red Hulk before tackling and charging him through most of the large crates and containers before smashing him to the nearby wall.
General: Why don't you give up already? You got no chance of beating me.
Red Hulk: Heh. Don't get your hopes up!
Red Hulk smashes his hand on the walls as it shakes and releases the huge containers above which falls on top and buried the General.
Red Hulk: Well I'll be..! Just when you needed one!
Quickly escaping the General's grasp, Red Hulk picks a nuclear capsule near him and absorbs it while the huge debris was pushed back by the General in one shove as he recovers.
Red Hulk: You up already? And here I thought you gonna leave me dry and hanging!
Red Hulk, having absorb all the energy crushes the cartridge as he glows brightly.
Red Hulk: Where were we? Oh, right! Ugly ass numbskull about to get mauled by grizzled old son of a bitch!
General: I'll definitely gonna waste you.
The two goliaths charge towards each other with ready fists and clash, causing a massive shockwave that shakes the whole facility and sends debris and objects flying in their surroundings.
As they fight, their healing factors assist them which heal their wounds and restore bruises while exchanging heavy blows until Red Hulk charges and tackles the General to the ground.
Red Hulk gets furious as he increases his body temperature while punching his opponent. The General manages to caught the Red Hulk's punch again and counters with a head-butt, knocking Red Hulk back. The General quickly recovers up and grabs Red Hulk and throws him into a wall. Red Hulk was able to shake off the damage, but the General charges towards him and delivers a powerful punch that sent Red Hulk crashing out of the area as he tumbles to the ground. The General leaps and stomps over him.
General: Pathetic. I expected more from you. You're just like any other brutes that I've faced with power beyond their understanding. Huh...?
Red Hulk: Heh. Not so bright are you?
While the General was talking, Red Hulk secretly pulls out the pin from his gamma grenades as it explodes on them, engulfing the two and blasting the General a couple of meters away. Red Hulk, however appears unharmed, as he was able to absorb most of the blast and its radiation.
Red Hulk: Ahh! Refreshing!
Red Hulk leaps forward to the General's position and picks him by the leg and slams him around a couple of times before tossing him a few distance into the air.
Red Hulk: Alley-oop!
Red Hulk jumps after the General into the air and grabs him as they fall back hard down to the ground. Red Hulk smashes the General face first into the earth, creating a large crater, and stood over the General's unconscious body triumphant with his dual cannons.
Red Hulk: Hey! You dead already?
The General wakes up right after and knocks away Red Hulk, dropping his weapons on the ground.
Red Hulk: Shoot!
The General furiously stomps on Red Hulk's weapons, destroying them, before dashing towards him.
Red Hulk: I wish you hadn't done that. Now it's PERSONAL!
Red Hulk followed up with a dash of his own as both goliaths collided once more and creates a large shockwave throughout the area. Both of them are locked in a hand to hand struggle.
General: You can't win.
Red Hulk: Heh. That yet remains to be seen!
Red Hulk turns up his body heat further which increases his damage and burns the General's hands.
General: What!?
The General let go of his hands on the power struggle.
Red Hulk: Gotcha!
Red Hulk unloads a heavy punch which knocks back the General a few meters as he regains his footing. Red Hulk charges towards him but the General counters and flips Red Hulk to the ground. The General grabs Red Hulk and smashes him into the side of a cliff so hard, the whole cliff shakes and cracks. The General furiously continues pummeling his foe, causing rocks to rattle above and fall until they were buried by them.
The General quickly emerges from the rubble and can't seem to find his foe until he turns around to face a knuckle sandwich done by Red Hulk as he springs up from the debris.
Red Hulk: Now you got me ANGRY!
Increasing his heat further, Red Hulk picks up two large rocks and smashes them at the General's head. The General staggers a bit before shaking off the damage. Red Hulk yet delivers another powerful punch and sent the General flying back. The General recovers in time and blocks Red Hulk's next strike, which creates a powerful shockwave that shakes the surroundings.
General: You're just wasting your strength!
The General unloads a powerful counter-blow that sent back the Red Hulk. He then dashes towards and grabs him.
General: Let's see you fly!
The General spins and tosses Red Hulk high into the air, all the way to the nearest city and into its foundry district near a power plant.
Meanwhile in the foundry district, two laborers were chatting with each other on their lunch break.
Positive Laborer: Hey pal! You think something entertaining is gonna happen today?
Negative Laborer: Like I told you for the last hundred times. No! Nothing interesting is gonna happen in this goddamn place! Unless you pull of something stupid yourself.
Positive Laborer: Well, my gut tells me something's gonna happen big this time!
Negative Laborer: In your dreams. But I tell you what, if something interesting "does" happen around this place, I'll bet you the thousand bucks that I've saved in my wallet.
Suddenly, Red Hulk crashes and destroys the building they were working on.
Positive Laborer: Uh huh. You were saying?
The Negative Laborer facepalms and handed over his thick wallet to his fellow worker.
Positive Laborer: Much obliged! Hey guys! Drinks on me tonight!
The positive laborer happily runs back to his fellow co-workers while a couple of them curiously surrounds Red Hulk's location. Bruised and battered, Red Hulk pushes away the debris and rubs his head.
Red Hulk: What are you all standing around here for!? GET LOST! SCRAM!!!
Red Hulk warns and throws some rubble at the curious workers just an incoming shadow descends into Red Hulk's location.
Red Hulk: Ahh crap...
The General delivers a powerful landing which causes another shockwave that sends debris flying at more citizens, as well wrecking down the surrounding buildings. The General picks up his unconscious opponent.
General: You've given me much trouble, you waste of---
Red Hulk suddenly head-butts the General in midsentence, and kicks him so hard, he flies back and crashes through another building which topples down on him.
Red Hulk, bruised from the beatdown, smiles and stands up more determined.
Red Hulk: Gonna have to do better than that, punk!
Moments later, the debris was pushed back by the General in one shove as he recovers.
Red Hulk: Able to... pick yourself up back yet again eh? Heh. Bet I can beat you to the point where... that won't work anymore!'
Red Hulk steps in and winds up another punch as he charges towards the General.
General: Fool.
The General followed with a charge of his own towards his foe while preparing to unload a massive punch.
Red Hulk: Eat this you ugly freak!
General: Die scum!
Both enormous fists collide, creating an earthquake that levels the entire city and leaving a huge crater on their position. The General is a bit staggered while Red Hulk continues to pummel him with heavy strikes, causing severe wounds and massive bruises on the General with Red Hulk's burning touch and sheer power. However, the General just shruggs these off and still fought back with all his might.
Red Hulk: (Crap! This guy is stupidly persistent!) What's your issue you goddamn hippy? Didn't won any beauty contest lately?
General: I'll give you issues.
The General unloads a heavy strike that knocks Red Hulk all the way to the power plant. The General follows shortly after recovering his wounds. He leaps to where Red Hulk was and landed near him. Upon landing, he delivers another solid heavy punch which sent Red Hulk crashing to a power plant tank and dents it.
General: You superpowered types are all the same.
The General grabs Red Hulk by the neck and lifts him from the ground.
General: Your kind are a threat to a safe and stable world.
Red Hulk: Ugh. Says the ugly freak with the abnormal body! Have you looked yourself in the mirror lately? You damn hypocrite...!
General: Maybe a little dose of that will shut you up.
The General tosses Red Hulk into the power plant tank and sunk himself to the bottom.
General: Good riddance.
The General turns his back and walks away. However, with his enhanced senses, the General stop on his track and turns around and was caught by the nuclear waste from the tank he threw Red Hulk in. The nuclear waste blinded the General as he stumbles and thrashes around before an incoming fiery fist landed on his face and knocks him down on the ground.
(*Cues: PainKiller - Docks Fight*)
Red Hulk: First lesson in the art of combat. Never turn your back on the enemy, jackass!
Red Hulk absorbed enough radiation to fuel and light himself on fire which burned and slowly melted everything down within his vicinity.
General: You abomination...!
The General's healing factor evenly restore his damage tissues as he recovers back up shortly after.
Red Hulk: Already smashed that bastard! And you're NEXT!
The General was briefly taken aback by his opponent's new power. But despite this, the General plainly dashes towards his fiery foe. The fiery Red Hulk does the same as both goliaths unloads an intense punch yet again that levels the entire country this time while creating a massive level 10 magnitude earthquake felt throughout the globe. The General stumbles again and disentigrated his fist as a result of colliding with Red Hulk's. The fiery Red Hulk starts landing more hits and prepares another heavy punch which sent the General crashing through a broken skyscraper which topples down on him.
Red Hulk: Hahahaha! I'M STRONGER!! YOU HEAR ME!
Just then, the General bursts out from the debris and scoffs.
General: I've faced far more worse...!
Despite being heavily bruised and severely injured from the beatdown, the General shakes off the damage and leap towards his foe.
Red Hulk: Here he comes...in...3...2...SMASH!!!
The fiery Red Hulk unleashes a massive thunderclap that further destroys the surrounding. However, the General still pushes onward despite hurting his hearing.
Red Hulk: You mother---!
Furious, the fiery Red Hulk recklessly assaults the General and tackles him down.
Red Hulk: You're nothing! You hear me!?
And unloads a series of massive punches to the General's head.
Red Hulk: You've lost! You hear me!? LOST!!!
And finishes with a final blow by smashing the General with both fists, creating a massive crater on the ground due to the force behind it.
Red Hulk: *Pants* That felt good... letting loose once in a while.
Red Hulk turns his back on the enemy and begins to walk away. All seems to be over. However, the unconscious General suddenly recovers back up.
General: SAWFT...
Red Hulk: The hell?
Hearing a familiar voice behind, the fiery Red Hulk turns around.
Red Hulk: What was that?
General: Hehehe... you're TOO SOFT!
The General's feedback angered the fiery Red Hulk.
Red Hulk: Soft you say? Let's see you say that after I've bashed your brains out on the pavement!
The fiery Red Hulk brazenly charges and unloads massive strikes on his opponent, who endures it.
Red Hulk: Damn you! What are you!? Some kind of masochistic freak?
General: No. Someone... who is not weak as you...!
The General counters with a massive blow that even broke his other arm, knocking the fiery Red Hulk a couple of meters back. The fiery Red Hulk hold his ground.
Red Hulk: Weak!?
Angered and pissed, the fiery Red Hulk reaches 100% body heat.
Red Hulk: Would a weakling do this!?
The fiery Red Hulk releases all the stored heat accumulated in his body and creates an enormous blast of radiation that engulf his opponent and melted down everything in the radius of the blast.
Red Hulk becomes stunned after losing all the heat while his opponent was laying down on the ground with charred skin, missing limbs, and with smoke coming out from his mouth.
Red Hulk: *Panting* Took you down... long enough... *Panting*
An exhausted Red Hulk grins.
K---
(*Cues: PainKiller - Snowy Bridge Fight*)
However, his grinning face turns into a shock after he saw his opponent recovering back up.
Red Hulk: You've got to be... shitting me...!
The enhanced salamander tissue gradually repairs the damaged skin and regenerates the missing limbs of the General.
General: My body was built to last... I can survive any attack... I can regrow any limbs... I feel no pain...
Red Hulk: Dammit all to hell!
Red Hulk struggles to keep his pace.
General: Invulnerable... Unstoppable... I am the ultimate biological WAR MACHINE!!!
Red Hulk: (Should've chosen to raid that stupid A.I.M. base, instead...) C'mon, asshole! Let's get this over with already!
Shortly after he recovers back his missing limbs, the General pounches on the staggered Red Hulk to the ground and began pummeling him repeatedly.
Red Hulk: (Bruised) Is that... the best... you can do!?
The General increases his damage by repeatedly unloading heavy blows on Red Hulk's face, drawing a lot of blood and covering his fist with it.
Red Hulk: (Heavily bruised) Please...
The General briefly stop punching his foe.
Red Hulk: My... daughter packs a harder punch than you...!
After taunting his enemy, Red Hulk then flips him off with his able hand. Enraged, the General mercilessly accelerates thrashing the Red Hulk with massive strikes until Red Hulk was unconscious. The General then places his hand on Red Hulk's head.
General: You won't be seeing your daughter ever again after this.
And grabbed it, and started to pull it fiercely and snaps the neck of Red Hulk, and with all his might, the General brutally tore off his head, ultimately killing him.
The General holds the deceased head of the Red Hulk and briefly examines it.
General: Hideous...
And tosses it aside as he turns around to see the military arrive. They briefly assess the scene and leaves.
General: Glad you boys made the right decision for once...
K.O!
The General returns back to the weapon's facility only to witness it lying in rubble as a result from their epic fight while Red Hulk's remains were collected by A.I.M.'s beekeepers.
Results[]
(*Cues: Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe - UN Space Station*)
Boomstick: What a terrifically smashing battle! And that climax was straight-up savage!
Wiz: This truly felt like a fight between an unstoppable force and an immovable object.
Boomstick: Both were powerful titans of destruction and strength incarnate! However! While Red Hulk is tactically smarter and possesses a unique ability to absorb energy and produce deadly radiation that would incinerate most foes, the General's far superior tenacity and durability, especially that ridiculous healing factor of his, overwhelmed the mighty red behemoth in a contest of dominance.
Wiz: Red Hulk may have the advantage in terms of strength, as he can amplify it by absorbing energy and produce high levels of magnitude earthquake with his strikes as well as a force of a nuclear explosion. But the General wasn't far off and could even certainly took the blow and resume the fight.
Boomstick: His battle against the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and even against another Shaggy Man (the 2nd) prove he can go toe to toe with stronger beings who can destroy planets. Plus, the General himself is also considered a planetary threat. The same can be said to Red Hulk, but when against someone more powerful than himself, Red Hulk struggles when tested to the limit, and eventually wears out his options. Just like the time he fought Angrier.
Wiz: Angrir.
Boomstick: That's what I said. Who is one of the Serpent's Worthy in where Red Hulk had difficulty fighting with.
Wiz: Although he was able to hold out far longer than most superheroes, he was eventually overwhelmed and defeated on the long run. Whereas Shaggy Man the 1st (General) gave the entire Justice League trouble fighting him in a series of encounters.
Boomstick: And the General even hold his own fighting Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman all at the same time without them holding back, and just shrugs off their assault freely! What a boss! Red Hulk was too at first, but the second time he fought a group of heroes, he was defeated. Whereas the General was only beaten by baiting him into a trap and dispatching him to a far-away place. That still counts as a loss, right?
Wiz: Of course. Red Hulk was smarter, but even if he can formulate a strategy in taking out the General, he doesn't have any arsenal or abilities on him to exploit the General's capabilities. Which meant he really did not have a way of restraining and or killing the General for good other than brute force and his radiation powers in keeping the General at bay. And yes, their durability is extremely impressive, which makes them highly formidable foes. Red Hulk was capable of withstanding a blow from Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir, Hulk's powerful punches, strikes from an empowered Colossus, and from a cosmic blast from Galactus (probably thanks to his energy absorbing powers), but the General also took such similar powerful blasts and hits without a hitch and could just give as much.
Boomstick: And in terms of speed, Red Hulk was able to keep up with the likes of Thor and Silver Surfer, while the General kept pace with the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the Flash. Which is no small feat considering they can exceed lightspeed movement.
Wiz: Surprisingly as it is, their speed is evenly close. But as far as how quick and agile they were, it looks like the General had a bit of an edge by experience. The General regularly fights and tags speedsters like the Flash and Superman. Whereas Red Hulk only fought such opponents on rare occasions.
Boomstick: Red Hulk's greatest advantage was his radiation and energy absorbing powers, but they were ineffective against someone like the General, who doesn't possess any energy like based powers for Red Hulk to absorb, and is no stranger to high levels of radiation. The General once took a high radiation round to the body and was fine afterwards. Heck! He even withstood a blast from Orion's Astro-Force, which is powerful enough to blast down large starships and wound invulnerable super beings! And guess what? The General didn't even flinched when he took the blast! Damn! He didn't even felt any signs of repercussions afterwards! And with their healing factors backing them up, they were sure as hell impossible to put down! But the General's was far better and veracious than Rulk's! Although it was later nerfed, it's still capable of repairing even the most damage of tissues and the most critical wounds. Even in death! Bringing back the General from the dead! Top that off, Rulk!
Wiz: That's true. And while both could survive hits from powerful entities, only one of them have the might and the grit to outlast the other.
Boomstick: Red Hulk wasn't able to take general measures in this fight.
Wiz: Ugh. The winner is the General.
