Reaper Vs. Kylo Ren is an upcoming Death Battle. It features Reaper from Overwatch and Kylo Ren from Star Wars.
Description[]
Overwatch Vs. Star Wars! Two masked antagonists in black hoods will collide! Can Gabriel Reyes defeat the First Order commander or will Ben Solo silence the Talon agent once and for all?
Interlude[]
Anakin skywalker: The hero is meant to be a symbol for peace and justice, but some people are tricked by evil people and turned, to the dark side of heroes. The Villains.
Luke: Like Gabriel rayes AKA reaper, The former overwatch hero turned talon member.
A: And Ben solo AKA Kylo Ren, Leader of the first order!
L: he's Anakin and I'm Luke!
A: And it's our job to analyse there weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win
A DEATH BATTLE!!!!!
Reaper[]
L: Venice, the Floating city. A wonderful place, Until one day, when an elite team sent by overwatch had a mission, to capture a man that was high in talons ranks. And that mission went horrible wrong.
A: DAMN! and i thought I was bad!
L: After that, Were not really sure what happened next, but we do know he later, when overwatch fell, he joined the very people he was trying to destroy. TALON.
A: HOLY CRAP THIS SOUNDS A LOT LIKE MY BACK STORY!!!
L: after that, he donned a new costume, and now he is no longer Gabriel rayes, but now:
REAPER!
"Death walks among you"
A: Reaper is very high in Talon ranks, and for good reason. He is a very dangerous enemy, and has a chance to be the actual leader of talon, if it wasn't for DoomFist!
L: He has his dual hellfire shotguns, which deal quite a lot of damage up close, since they're shotguns.
A: He also has his abilities, like wrath form, which turns him invincible and allows him to reload his guns! Which is weird, since he throws his guns away to reload!
L: And his shadow step which allows him to teleport away, but makes a mini tornado that shows where he is going to teleport!
A: And his Unique, the reaping, which is basically a life leach.
L: And his ultimate, death blossom, which makes him spinning trigger happy!
A: But like everyone he as disadvantage:
He SUCK'S at long range combat, since he has shotguns.
His Ultimate takes a lot of time to charge up
He is horrible against people that can dodge easily, fly away from him, or keep him away by knocking him away from them.
His abilities have cooldowns. (His unique doesn't, however)
He Manly relies on ambush to gain major kills, or to use his death blossom effectively.
Is Weak against snipers.
Can't attack while teleporting or using shadow step.
L: But despite all of that, Reaper is a dangerous foe And not somebody to mess with.
"Die... Die... DIE!!!
Kylo Ren[]
A:After the fall of the empire, a lot happened.
L: Specifically, the marriage of 2 of my best friends, han and leia, And the marriage went well, and they had a son-
A: MY GRANDSON!!!
L: Err... Right. Anyway the sons name was ben solo, and when he was old enough, he was sent to be trained as a jedi by me!
A: Yeah, and you would think with him being the son of the light side heroes, you would think there is a less than 0% chance he would be turned to the dark side, but...
L: Yeah, that went wrong, FAST! And soon after that, he joined the dark side, and soon joined the first order.
A: Like me When i was Vader, he is very dangerous enemy, and not one to be trifled with.
L: He has the (Like all jedi and sith) Force powers, like pushing people back, making barriers with it, disarming them, and CRUSH THEIR ORGANS?!? THAT'S NEW!!!
A: He also has his lightsaber, which instead of 1 or 2 blades, his has 3, Since his lightsaber crystal is cracked, and needs the other 2 to make sure it doesn't explode. (Or at least... i think that's why!)
L: And he's done some crazy things to:
Killed a zilo beast. Not even Vader did that!
Easily kept up with rey in a duel.
Snoke say's he's the ideal embodiment of the light and dark side.
Tanked a blast from Chewbacca's bowcaster.
Force power is said to be immense.
Was able to obtain more power in the galaxy for a year as more worlds submitted to his rule in the first order.
A: and he has his disadvantages:
Training is not complete
Lost to rey in their first duel (Although to be fair, a couple minutes ago, he was shot in the side by Chewbacca.)
L: But despite all of this, Kylo Ren is a very dangerous foe, and not somebody to mess with.
"Bow, to the first order"
Pre-Battle[]
L: All right the combatants are set, so let's end this debate once and for all!
A: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!!
DEATH BATTLE[]
Kylo Ren and his team of stormtroopers were exploring a mysterious building, and they were trying to find a mysterious relic that could possible help them defeat the resistance.
Kylo Ren spots a room with a strong connection to the force, and he walks into the room with caution.
Kylo Ren soon gets annoyed, when he gives the room a through search, but can't find anything, yet he can still sense the object.
Suddenly, Kylo hears shots outside, and Kylo rushes outside, only to be caught to be found in the middle of a black tornado.
Soon the tornado dissipates, and in the middle of said tornado was Reaper, who had ambushed his soldiers, And used his death blossom.
Reaper turns around to see Kylo Ren standing there.
KR: Who are you, and what are have you done to my soldiers?
R: Stand aside, I'm looking for an ancient artefact that will help Talon, so stand aside.
KR: Are you part of the Resistance? And if so, I can't let you leave alive.
R: I'm Taking you down, and taking that artefact with me.
Both combatants draw their weapons and take fighting stances and begin to fight...
FIGHT!!!
Kylo jumps at reaper and slices at reaper, but reaper manages to evade all of his strikes, until he's backed up to a wall.
KR: Enough of this.
Kylo attempts to stab reaper, but reaper ducks, and then shadow steps away.
KR: Just who do you think you are?!
Kylo turns around, only to see reaper come out of the ground.
R: Death.
Reaper manages to land 2 good shots on Kylo, before he spins around and swings his lightsaber at reaper, who manages to dodge, attempt to shoot Kylo, Only for his shot to be deflected at him, Stunning and shocking him.
R: What the-
Before he can finish his sentence, Kylo quickly chops both his shotguns in half!
KR: Enough of this! surrender!
Kylo was surprised when instead of begs of mercy, Reaper suddenly Laughs, uses wraith form to dodge the incoming blows, and pulls out 2 new Shotguns!
KR: WHAT?! HOW!?!?!
Reaper doesn't respond, and instead begins shooting Kylo with all he's worth!
Kylo begins to get annoyed, and leaps at Reaper, and this time he's to slow to dodge, and Kylo manages to get 2 good slices on his guts, and as reaper reels back in agony, Kylo grabs him, stabs him in the guts again, and throws him away!
KR: Pathetic!
Kylo walks away, Thinking he's dead, when suddenly, a black mist swirls past his legs...
"die... die...
KR: What the-
"DIE!"
Kylo attempts to deflect the incoming shots, but is ultimately overwhelmed by the shotgun shots!
Suddenly the shots are so powerful, that the ground beneath the 2 fighters begin to crumble.
Reaper stops shooting once he realises this, and Kylo uses this to jump at Reaper, making the floor finally collapses!
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Both Reaper and Kylo Fall to the ground, and Reaper is the first to get back up, And sees the room there both in.
R: What the hell is this place?
Reaper turns around and sees a pedestal, and on it was the object.
R: There it is!
Reaper is so surprised to see it, That he doesn't notice Kylo getting up behind him, until he hears his lightsaber behind him
R: OH SH-
Before reaper could finish his sentence, Kylo swiped up at reapers mask, sending reaper flying!
Reaper gets up and looks at Kylo, Pure hatred in his eyes!
R: YOU. ARE. DEAD.
KR: No, you shall fall!
Reaper and Kylo jump at each other, with both trying to land that one fatal blow.
Eventually Kylo lands said blow, knocking Reaper to the ground.
But before Kylo could land the final blow, Reaper shots at his side, making him fall too.
Reaper proceeds to get up, shot Kylo twice in the mask, another time in the leg, and finally, grabbing his lightsaber and throwing it away, and the shooting Kylo in the arm.
R: This fight is over! Any last words!?
KR: Yeah... you underestimate... the power...
Suddenly Kylo's lightsaber activates, flies towards Reaper, and cuts his right arm off!
R: AHHHHHHHGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
KR: OF THE DARK SIDE!!!
Kylo proceeds to chop off reapers other arm, but reaper quickly uses his wraith form, and almost's gets away, but Kylo uses his force freeze to stop Reaper, until the Wraith form ends, and then proceeds to grab him with the force, and shove him onto his lightsaber!
R: AGGHHHH-
Reaper doesn't get to finish his sentence, as Kylo quickly chops his head off!!!!!
Kylo looks at his defeated foe, exhausted, Kylo calls for help, before walking over and grabbing the object: a sith holocron.
Suddenly, Kylo spins around, grabs something with the force, pulls it close, and swipes at head Hight!
After that, sombra's (Who had been recording the entire thing) dead body falls to the ground.
After that, Kylo falls to the ground, exhausted.
KO!!!!!!!!!
Captain phasma and some sith troopers come along and bring The passed out Kylo Ren to the ship.
Widowmaker and DoomFist begin wondering where the hell sombra and Reaper are.
Results[]
N: HOLY SHIT! I THOUGHT KYLO WAS GOING TO JUST CHOP REAPER IN HALF, THAT WAS WAY MORE BADASS THEN I THOUGHT!!!!!
E: Despite what everyone thinks, this wasn't a complete stomp for Kylo, since reapers advantages were:
+Durable (Tanked winstons tesla cannon)
+ Wraith form and shadow step and the weird Voldemort thing we see him do in in the overwatch short, "Recall".
=both were basically even in close quarters combat.
-slower
-weaker
-Kylo could kill him in a single swipe of his lightsaber.
-Can't resist the force.
N: But Kylo Ren had everything else that helped him take the victory.
+faster (Can keep up with rey, who managed to outrun tie fighter on jaku)
+Stronger (Have you seen the stuff he can cut through with his lightsaber?!)
+++Force + lightsaber (Both were the main reasons he won)
E: Reaper would be a formidable for against the Knight of Ren, but Kylo's Better speed, strength, and connection with the force ultimately sealed Reapers fate.
N: Looks like Kylo just cheated death (Cause that is what Reaper calls himself: death. Geddit?)
The winner is SUPREME LEADER KYLO REN!

The knight bit references how Kylo Ren is a Knight of Ren.
And the darkness would reference reapers main way of fighting: from the shadows.
