Description[]
BloodRayne vs. Lucia. Their twin blades are in your hearts - both figurative and literally.
Introduction[]
Wiz: Rayne, the dhampire vampire hunter.
Boomstick: Lucia, the demon-hunting artificial demon.
Wiz: When hunting down what only technically counts as your own kind, it takes a special kind of hatred to sharpen one's blades.
Boomstick: Hatred directed towards those responsible for your very creation in fact. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Rayne[]
Wiz: In the year 1933, the Brimstone Society welcomed a new member into its ranks.
Boomstick: Because it might be an important detail, the Brimstone Society is a secret organisation which combats supernatural threats, such as demons and vampires. But that didn’t mean they weren’t super inclusive. Because this latest recruit was your standard child of two worlds.
Wiz: Half-vampire, half-human, and thus a dhampir, this was Rayne, and she certainly had her reasons for joining the Brimstone Society.
- Background
- Age: 89 chronologically, 24 biologically
- Height: 6’6 in heels
- Species: Dhampir
- Member of the Brimstone Society
- Partnered with Mynce and Severin
- Was once featured in Playboy
Boomstick: It’s the classic case of resenting their vampiric parent, with her father Kagan being a right piece of shit. You know Godbrand from Netflix Castlevania, the vampire Viking? Well Kagan makes him look tame in comparison.
Wiz: Having forced Rayne’s conception on an innocent woman before driving this woman and later murdering her, Kagan intended to mould his daughter into one of his pawns. However, her will was instead focused on naturally seeking revenge on Kagan for what he did.
Boomstick: So having been on her own anti-vampire quest, the Brimstone Society was her dream job. And if you haven’t already been clued in by all this vampire-explaining, any battle Rayne enters becomes a pretty bloody affair. And, naturally, that works in favour for her.
- Powers
- Superhuman Dhampir physiology
- Resistance to sunlight
- Longevity
- Poison and disease resistance
- Healing factor
- Feeding
- Raven form
- Aura Vision
- Ghost Feed
- Enthral
- Perception Acceleration
- Rage Attack
- Blood Rage
- Blood Fury
- Blood Storm
Wiz: Naturally indeed, since Rayne can feed off her opponents in order to regenerate whatever damage she takes in battle. Regardless of if the blood comes from a diseased body or even another vampire. Heck, even standing in a blood of blood enables Rayne to heal herself, so biting isn’t even necessary at times.
Boomstick: Her aging is slowed to a crawl, looking like a 20-something while actually being nearly 90. She can resist the sun better than other vampires, although too much exposure will kill her. And she also has a number of sweet powers at her disposal.
Wiz: She can see any living creature’s state of health, even in the darkness, and can actually summon a ghostly copy of herself to also feed upon enemies, often without them even noticing. And that same projection can even be used to possess enemies, turning them into Rayne’s temporary ally.
Boomstick: She can turn herself into a raven for quick flight and enhance her movements and perception of the world, like Raiden’s Blade Mode. At it’s peak, bullets and explosions seem frozen in mid-air. And what would a half-vampire be if they couldn’t briefly give in to an aptly named Blood Rage? Or Blood Fury?
Wiz: States of mind which increase Rayne’s damage output, with the most powerful version summoning a small Blood Storm around her. She can even partially tap into her stockpiled Rage for powerful, one-time strikes.
Popup: In the comics, Rayne has a dark version of herself called Dark Rayne as a transformation; aside from altering her personality, it has similar functions to her game Rage Mode.
Boomstick: And like a good half-vampire, Rayne doesn’t just rely on the ‘vampire’ side to kill. She has a whole arsenal of Creature of the Night smite gear.
- Arsenal
- Twin Blades
- Carpathian Dragons
- Blood Shot
- Blood Stream
- Blood Stray
- Blood Bomb
- Blood Flame
- Blood Hammer
- Silver Steel Stiletto Heels
- Chained Harpoon
- Eye of Beliar
- Sun Gun
- Various guns and explosives
Wiz: Her most noteworthy are the hell-born Twin Blades she wields. These are outfitted with pivoting mechanisms, enabling her to wield them similarly to Tonfas, meaning they can fold across her forearms. These seem to be partially responsible for building up her Rage powers, given the runes going up its three-foot length.
Boomstick: And that’s just the close-range signature weapon. For long range, she has a Chained Harpoon, perfecting for Rayning in enemies. Ba-bum-tiss!
Wiz: The other option for long range is her Carpathian Dragons. These dual handguns use a unique yet appropriate ammo in the form of blood. Either Rayne can use her own blood to fuel it, at the cost of her own health, or she can shank enemies to drain theirs for ammunition.
Boomstick: There are six different modes for the Dragons, each beginning with Blood; Shot is semi-automatic, Stream is fully automatic, Spray is shotgun-style bursts, Bomb is a sticky bomb-like explosive, Flame launches fire and Hammer is a miniature rocket launcher. Man, who knew blood was so versatile an ammo source. Course, she can find other guns and explosives on her travels but these guns are easily her best option for gunmanship. But probably her best weapon, and even most appealing to her enemies, is her silver spike heel boots. Because…well, you can imagine.
Wiz: Well, in a 2D game in her series, Rayne gets her hands on something called the Sun Gun, a cannon which fires beams capable of frying creatures of the night as though they had directly stepped into sunlight.
Boomstick: Well, a better use than what Rayne does with the Eye of Beliar. A body part of the most infamous of demons…and she uses it like a telescope.
Wiz: Well, the thing about Beliar is that his larger and more important body parts were being used to resurrect him, so one had to be careful with what they can use from him.
Boomstick: Oh, that should have been no problem for Rayne. She straight up stomped the ritual to revive him and kicked the ass of the Nazi he was piloting. Damn, second episode in a row we include Adolf’s boys.
- Feats
- Fought vampires, demons, Nazis, Ninjas and her half-siblings
- Battled Hedrox, who could smash through a castle's structure
- Routinely cuts through entire human bodies
- Avoided automatic gunfire
- Survived Kagan’s lightning blasts
- Defeated Jurgen Wulf, Beliar, Ephemera, Kagan
Wiz: Rayne has a pretty comprehensive list of opponents, such as parasites which reduce people to zombies, all manner of demons and even her own-half siblings, conceived by her shithole father for his own plans.
Boomstick: So yeah, Rayne is certainly the white sheep of that flock. And the toughest, considering she shredded her way through them one-by-one. Trust me, even other vampiric families don’t have feuds that bloody.
Wiz: One of Rayne’s strongest foes was the ancient vampire Hedrox, who smashed through the wall of an ancient castle. A smash worth 351 billion joules of energy (Antoniofer).
Boomstick: Rayne’s very father is capable of attacking with lightning, and again, Rayne has that Sun Gun. Considering how it’s used against the undead like Bonafede sunlight, its beams may be comparable to light itself in speed.
Wiz: If one where to point out her shortcomings, it’s that she tends to be rather brash and impulsive. Although more accurately, as a half-vampire she cannot stand fresh or saltwater, which burns her on contact. And of course, while she can survive sunlight for a longer period of time than other vampires, it will still kill her with too much exposure.
Boomstick: Still, she’s the top of the Brimstone Society for a good reason. Especially since it looks like there’s a chance for her to run a city full of vampires coming her way once she slayed her dad.
Wiz: When she steps onto a nocturnal battlefield, expect vampires to cry and blood to rain.
Lucia[]
Wiz: Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. Dante, the Son of Sparda, is called to action to protect the world from the oncoming threat of a demon attack. And in the form of help he gets a mysterious young woman with a personal, if not familial connection, to the forces of evil orchestrating this attack.
Boomstick: Well duh, it’s the plot of the first game.
Wiz: Oh is it? Well, it is, but I only bring that up because it’s also the plot of the second game. Which is either lazy writing or reusing a storyline that proved to be previously successful. Anyway, with the threat of the demon lord Argosax on the rise, Dante travelled to Vie De Marli where he would receive the help of the Protectors Clan.
Boomstick: If the name wasn’t obvious enough, they protect humanity from their demons. Including the member assigned to Dante, Lucia.
- Background
- Names: Lucia, Chi
- Age: Unknown
- Height: Est. 6’4
- Occupation: Protectors Clan Ritual Chief
- Demon creation of Arius
- Has a brand of bullet named after her
Wiz: Despite being a member of the Protectors, Lucia wasn’t a member by blood. Rather, she was taken in by their Head after she escaped her rather unsavoury origins.
Boomstick: Unsavoury huh? Yeah, I suppose being made to be exclusively employed as a secretary for a sleezy corrupt CEO would be a pretty dark backstory. We’ve all heard the scandals.
Wiz: Lucia was made as an artificial demon under the designation Chi, for the 22nd letter of the Greek Alphabet, by Arius, the one attempting to engineer Argosax’s return. Through some defect or anomaly, Lucia was deemed unsuitable for his purposes. Might have had something to do with a sense of right and wrong, and a bit too much free will.
Boomstick: Isn’t that why you scrapped all those DUMMIs?
Wiz: Probably. Cast out by her creator, Lucia was taken in by the Protectors, becoming perhaps their greatest agent.
Boomstick: She was on the case against Arius and Argosax long before Dante jumped onto the scene, because artificial or not, a demon is still a demon. Power-wise, not morality-wise, I mean.
- Powers and Abilities
- Superhuman Demon physiology
- Spirit interaction
- Devil Trigger
- Affected and empowered by Devil Hearts
- Ariel Heart
- Quick Heart
- Aqua Heart
- Flame Heart
- Frost Heart
- Electro Heart/Evil Heart
- Chrono Heart
- Healing Heart
- Offence Heart
- Affected and empowered by Devil Hearts
Wiz: Despite her lithe frame, Lucia possesses superhuman speed, strength and durability, and is highly acrobatic. Demons are beings boasting all sorts of powers, such as the ability to survive in the harshest environments without sustenance, capable of regenerating from extremely severe wounds and resist a number of effects on their emotions and states of being. Lucia herself has demonstrated the ability to interact with corrupted souls.
Boomstick: But if she wants to look more like the demon inside, that’s where her Devil Trigger naturally comes in. Although considering her alignment, I suppose it’s more appropriate for her to look like a blinding-white angel.
Wiz: Not only do her physical stats get a massive boost but she can now attack with feathers, shooting them out as sharpened projectiles. And if she wants to enhance this already massive stat increase even further, she use any number of Devil Hearts.
Boomstick: There are three which can let her move faster, fly or…swim, so at least she’s covering all three bases. And she also covers three elemental bases, able to use three Devil Hearts to empower her attacks with fire, frost and electricity.
Wiz: Fun fact, the Electro Heart was formerly the Evil Heart, which actually absorbs the power and energy of whoever holds it, before it got put into a laboratory slot.
Boomstick: An important and certainly necessary upgrade. As are the Chrono, Healing and Offense Hearts, which can slow time, enhances regeneration and enhances attack power respectively.
Wiz: But Lucia cannot solely rely on her Devil Trigger to see herself through battles. In comparison to the gunslinging mainstays of the series, she instead relies on bladed weapons for both long and close-ranged combat.
- Arsenal
- Cutlaseer
- Klyamoor
- Zamback
- Throwing Daggers
- Darts
- Bow Gun
- Cranky Bomb
Boomstick: Her first and primary weapons are the Cutlaseer, curved blades which have your usual balanced stats, none too great, none too worse. For faster, longer ranged yet lower damage, she has the Klyamoor, dual straight swords also bearing short points near the handles. And for slow but mighty attacks, Zamback takes centre stage, looking like sharpened slabs of steel with handle-holds punched into them.
Wiz: With all these blades serving as her close-range means, Lucia has several used for long range. There are her Throwing Daggers, made of silver to be effective towards demons. Her Darts come into play when she wants to throw entire barrages of projectiles and when underwater, the Bow Gun can be used for rapid-fire aquatic attacks.
Boomstick: Not all of her weapons are as sleek and graceful as her though. The Cranky Bomb is instead as powerful as her. These can be used as either mines or grenades to blow demons to kingdom come. But can you imagine if it also included blades in its design? That’s why I made one which does just that. Behold, the spikey grenade. DUMMI, catch!
DUMMI: I think you mean “Remain still to get an explosive covered in spikes lodged in my body”.
Boomstick: Don’t cross hairs, just hold still!
- Feats
- Survived strikes from Argosax-empowered Arius
- Fought a whole group of lightning-fast Devils
- Slayed several Artificial Demons of her own kind
- Infiltrated Ouroboros in disguise
- Retrieved all four Arcana
- Defeated Tartarussian, Plutonian, Arius
Wiz: Well, with you two trying to do…that…reminds me that while Dante was fighting the forces of Arius and Argosax, Lucia was contributing as well. Specifically, by finding and safeguarding the four Arcana which would be used to summon Argosax from his prison.
Boomstick: Ha, got him! Anyway, in order to get those Arcana, Lucia had to fight several different hardy demons, like the Puia, which are bird-demons said to attack at the speed of lightning.
Wiz: Not that this is the fastest Lucia can go. After all, as an experienced demon killer, she should be as capable as Dante was when he was first starting out. Back then, he could already dodge laser beams from Damned Rooks, which are official described as lasers and thus light-speed.
Boomstick: And she’s extremely tough as well, able to take a hit powerful enough to carve a 50-foot crevasse in the ground, making it worth 8 tons of TNT (Mr. Bambu). And by the way, that attack came from the man who both created Lucia and tried to destroy her, Arius. After he’d gotten a boost in strength from Argosax’s return.
Wiz: Lucia’s greatest struggle wasn’t fighting against the demons she was made to emulate, although it certainly damped her performance to be fair. No, her strife was wondering she would eventually turn on those she’d sworn to protect and stand by. If the seed of evil Arius planted in her would come to fruition.
Boomstick: But as Dante and double-headed coin told her, the only person who could control her own fate was herself. And boy did she, killing Arius to forever sever her connection to his twisted machinations for her.
Wiz: Despite the saying that Devils Never Cry, should the Protectors send their best agent against them, crying is the one thing they can do.
Interlude[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, and we've run that data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
The Battle[]
Setting: Museum
Lucia walked over the corpses of numerous slain demons strewn across the floors. They were laid in front of an exhibit – a 20-foot skeleton of a humanoid horned demon. On its skull sat Rayne, who had broken off one of the skeleton’s horns to use as a cup for the blood she was drinking.
Rayne: Hmm…spicy but not unpleasantly so. And am I right in presuming you’re one of their fellows?
Lucia: Not exactly. But since you have something I need, then consider me your enemy, same as them.
Rayne finished drinking from the horn and hopped off the skeleton, landing perfectly straight. She drew out her Twin Blades from behind herself. Lucia similarly readied her hands but instead of her own dual swords, she whipped out a stream of throwing daggers.
FIGHT!
As the throwing daggers reached the midpoint between both women, Rayne put her blades into a reverse stowed configuration on her arms. She whipped out twin machine guns, firing a stream of bullets which intercepted Rayne’s throwing knives. The opposing stream of weapons cancelled each other out and as they did, Rayne and Lucia advanced towards each other, maintaining their clashing offenses. Once they came within range of each other, the two streams came to an end, thanks to Lucia. She ceased her knife throwing and stabbed out with one of her Cutlaseer. Rayne’s left blade sprung out from her outstretched arm, knocking Lucia’s stab to the side. The dhampir’s other blade also swung around to be slashed at Lucia’s head but the demoness brought up her own second blade. Rayne’s blade was deflected upwards and she hopped backwards, stabbing out both her blades. Lucia jumped back but as Rayne was still holding her guns, she was able to unleash a spray of bullets at her. Thanks to her speed and dexterity, Lucia was able to deflect the barrage until Rayne’s guns clicked empty.
At that moment, Lucia suddenly spread her arms out, throwing a cloud of Darts at Rayne. She leapt over the attack, her body stiffened upwards and spinning in the process with her blades tucked close to her chest. Her momentum brought her close enough to Lucia that the latter had to deflect the blades spun by Rayne’s full body movement. After landing, and facing away from Lucia, Rayne dropped onto one knee, kicking backwards with her other leg to aim the sharpened heel at Lucia’s face. Lucia dodged backwards to avoid the blade and when Rayne full-on stood on her hands to spin around, somersaulted back to avoid getting her throat nicked by either of the spiked heels. Rayne then stabbed out both heels yet Lucia’s blade lodged between the heels and shoe flat. Undeterred, Rayne lifted her entire body upwards until she was “perched” on her opponent’s blade, slashing down with her own two. Lucia blocked the dual strike with her other Cutlaseer, before using both of them to push Rayne off herself.
The dhampir landed and instantly straightened back up, one hand on one hip and the other tossing her hair stylishly. Lucia, on the other hand, remained in a fighting stance.
Lucia: Are you going to try that again? Your odds of victory grow lower every time you will, you know.
Rayne: Well, you’re certainly fast enough to say so…but I can do faster.
Her perception and movement increased, Rayne darted at Lucia like a blur. Against the odds, Lucia was able to move her head to avoid the rapid stabs Rayne came at her with but one of them was able to nick her cheek.
Lucia: Can’t keep up…need something lighter!
As Rayne came at her with another barrage of stabs, Lucia stowed her Cutlaseer and drew out Klyamoor. With the lighter weapon now in hand, Lucia was able to intercept all of Rayne’s stabs with her own, the points of both blades bouncing off each other. Rayne was sent reeling back in surprise and Lucia took the opportunity to pull out Zamback. The heavy weapons where swung down at the reeling Rayne but she once again enhanced her perception and movement.
The downwards swing completely missed, cracking the ground and Lucia sensed Rayne behind herself. Before she could react, Rayne stabbed her through the back with her blades and sank her teeth into her neck. Lucia let out a yell of pain and was able to shake herself free of Rayne and her blades. But as her wounds healed and she turned around, Lucia was met with the sight of Rayne bearing her Carpathian Dragons.
Rayne: I got a hint of sweetness…and spice!
She blasted Lucia with a burst of weaponized blood, sending her flying backwards, through a wall and into another of the museum’s rooms. As the demoness steadily got back to her feet, Rayne strode after her; she pulled the Dragons’ triggers a second time and they unleashed waves of flame on either side of Lucia. Boxed in, Lucia could only cover her face with her arms as Rayne smirked manically and swept the flame trails over Lucia.
Her smile vanished when the flames where suddenly blown away by a blast of white light emanating from Lucia. She now stood in her Devil Trigger state and as she strode forward, clutched the Fire Heart to ignore the second twin blaze Lucia blasted at her.
Rayne: Oh shit…
She switched her Dragons’ mode, unleashing a spray of blood pellets, and Lucia deflected all of them with her reused Cutlasser.
Rayne: Oh shit.
As the reserves of Lucia’s blood in the Dragons ran dry, Rayne gritted her teeth as she felt her own blood drain into the guns. She fired a Blood Hammer, the missile-like projectile striking Lucia square in the chest. Thanks to her Devil Trigger, Lucia strode out of the red smoke undeterred.
Rayne: Oh shit!
Before she could think to do anything else, Rayne was battered by a series of powerful slashes from Lucia, bloodying and throwing her into the air. As she started to fall down, Lucia readied to stab upwards to meet her descent.
But then a smouldering sound made Lucia look at her feet. She saw a Blood Bomb sitting there, courtesy of Rayne acting mid-assault to shoot it at the floor.
Rayne: Boom.
The Bomb went off, instantly collapsing the floor Lucia stood on and sending her plummeting into a dark, subterrain area. Rayne’s fall took her through the hole as well, and beneath her heard the sound of a splash. Realizing there was a large body of water now beneath her, Rayne tossed out her Chained Harpoon, latching onto the edge of the hole above her.
Rayne: Phew…don’t fancy a dip at the moment.
She prepared to pull herself up the chain but beneath the water’s surface, Lucia – still in her Devil Trigger – had primed her Aqua Heart and pulled out her Blowgun. Their projectiles shot out of the water and nailed Rayne in the back of her hand. Rayne cursed in pain and lost her grip on the chain, falling with a splash into the water. Despite her dhampir status giving her protection against the water, it still pained her. As she attempted to swim back to the surface, her night vision kicked in to give her clarity in the pitch-black water. She was thus able to dodge as Lucia shot towards her through the water. As she went by, her Devil Trigger finally wore off and Rayne took the chance to slice her sides. Blood from Lucia bloomed into the water and Rayne instantly fed upon it, healing her wounds and restoring her stamina. A pulse of magic surrounded her and she became a raven, bursting out of the water and flying like an arrow out of the cavern through the hole.
She shifted back into her human form when she passed through the hole, landing in a roll and vanishing around the corner from the museum room. Lucia jumped out of the hole herself, engaging in a hot pursuit of Rayne. She turned the corner and was met with the sight of Rayne aiming the Sun Gun at her. Lucia dodged the beam but it rebounded off a bronze shield at the end of the corridor behind her. It travelled upwards to a chandelier and was deflected downwards, straight on top of Lucia. The light energy engulfed Lucia, scorching and forcing her onto her knees.
When it had subsided, Rayne advanced on the kneeling, burned Lucia and placed her blades on either side of her neck in an X shape. Before she could uncross them and behead Lucia, Lucia grabbed the blades with her bare hands, gritted her teeth and once again entered her Devil Trigger. With the Flame Heart equipped, she grabbed the blades and sent fire up the blades, setting Rayne’s hands ablaze.
Rayne: Oh no, this time I have my own trump card!
She entered her Blood Rage, a Blood Storm swirling around herself and pushing Lucia back while also snuffing out the flames. Even in her Devil Trigger, Lucia struggled to fight against the bloody winds. With the Healing Heart next equipped, Lucia’s wounds healed fast enough to weather the Storm. She was able to reached Rayne, who was standing calmly in the middle of the Storm, who didn’t even move as Lucia readied to stab her. This was because her Aura Duplicate had sneaked up on Lucia and now grabbed her from behind, draining Lucia of energy and sending it to Rayne. The dhampir smirked and brought her Dragons up to aim them at the faltering Lucia.
But when she pulled the triggers, they clicked empty, even of her own blood.
Rayne: What? No…I should be…
She suddenly felt a wave of exhaustion and she dropped to her knees, the Blood Storm subsiding in the next instance. Lucia was revealed to have stood back up, Rayne’s aura duplicate impaled through the chest and dissolving.
Lucia: I told you, the more you kept fighting, the likelier you’d lose.
Rayne glowered up at Lucia before finally noticing a new addition to her outfit – slotted into the top of her left standalone sleeve was the Evil Heart, which had been draining her of energy throughout the entire fight. Lucia had placed it there when Rayne had jumped on her blades earlier and now it had worked its dark magic. Lucia entered her Devil Trigger and lifted into the air in front of Rayne, her wings spread out and feather projectiles at the ready.
Rayne: Oh shi-
The feathers peppered Rayne’s upper body, through her shoulders, arms, midriff and finally, one through her neck, pinning them all to the ground. The explosive impact of Rayne’s body snapping back caused a single coin - Dante's coin - to fly into the air, which Lucia caught. With a flap of her wings, Lucia exited the museum through a window, leaving glass shards and Rayne’s corpse behind.
KO!
Outcome[]
Boomstick: Rayne might have been able to handle demons but against an angel, metaphorical or literal, no dice.
Wiz: Between her numerous guns and explosives, the different modes of her Carpathian Dragons, other minor weapons and various powers like Blood Rage and Perception Acceleration, Rayne had a lot more she could throw at Lucia. Unfortunately, there was a difference in quantity and quality of what a combatant can throw.
Boomstick: And Lucia sat in the quality. Comparing them to the hits they could both take, from Hedrox and Arius, Lucia was nearly a perfect hundredfold tougher. Since she could hang with Arius when he was strong enough to split the ground, and eventually kill him, it also made her stronger a hundredfold than Rayne in the long run.
Wiz: And that’s even without considering other powerful demons, who could conjure storms and threaten the entirety of the demonic world.
Boomstick: Both have light-speed scaling, or at least Rayne has a light-speed attack with her Sun Gun. But the thing is, Lucia was surely a more accomplished demon hunter than Dante was when he first had to avoid those demon lasers in Awakening. Even if not, an even level of speed is nothing to overlook, especially since Rayne could enhance hers.
Wiz: But the thing was, Lucia could do the same, and technically greater at that, with her Devil Trigger. She could equip Devil Hearts which similarly increase her speed and mobility, further the gap in power between her and Rayne, and even utilize the elemental effect of water, which would still be damaging to the half-vampire Rayne.
Boomstick: And another quick titbit; Lucia being able to interact with non-physical spiritual creatures meant she could directly deal with Rayne’s spiritual double, preventing it from draining or enthralling her.
Wiz: With such a difference in strength and durability, the means to further empower herself or counter one of Lucia’s best tricks, Lucia had very little to worry about from Rayne, even her ability to drain blood.
Boomstick: Lucia surely knew how to deal with a Rayne on her Parade.
Wiz: The winner is Lucia, the Ritual Chief of the Protectors Clan.

Trivia[]
- Connections: Both are beautiful red-headed inhuman woman who wield various bladed weapons, most notably duel-swords, in their battles against evil forces which include demons as part of specialized organisations (Brimstone Society and Vie de Marli, respectively). Both also have vendettas against their fathers/creators (Kagan and Arius, respectively) whom they seek to kill, and have to fight against their own kind and family (vampires and her half-siblings and other mannequin demons, respectively) and worked to prevent the resurrection of powerful demon lords (Beliar and Argosax, respectively).
- Animation Style: 3D.
- OST Idea: 'Blood from the Heart', referring to Rayne's home series and Lucia's use of Devil Hearts.
