Two edgy girls in dark colors with horrible parents duel it out in a magic vs alien fight
Intro[]
Cue: Death Battle theme
Venom: What makes a great hero? A relatable personality? A badass costume? Nope. According to the hero backstory, it's having a shit upbringing. While some people become villains from this, others seek to protect those who were in the same shoes as them. Like Raven, the half-demon daughter of Trigon from DC Comics.
Batman: And Ryuko Matoi, the edgy girl with the scissor blades from Kill La Kill. They're Venom and I'm Batman, or should I say, Vengeance.
Venom: Oh, right, that new movie. God, why does Mr. Crest take so fucking long with his scripts?
Crest (Me): Cause I'm a fucking lazy asshole who doesn't give a shit. Hell, I'm also in college and I have a life, which explains why I haven't been working on my YouTube channel. Speaking of that, I should get back to it, as you two should for the fight. Cause it's your jobs, other than saving Gotham from the clearly-not-inspired-by-the- Zodiac Riddler, except for you, Venom, to analyse my favorite characters and other characters' weapons, armor, and skills to find out which of my favorite characters are gonna win, a Death Battle.

Batman: DC Comics, home to the most op characters, like me, with certain weapons, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Dr Fate, and SO MANY others. Today, here's a character who's overpowered, but has a decent amount of power to not be considered overpowered, and is a fan-favorite for not just the goth girls, but boys to-
Venom: NOPE. I know where this is going. Anyway, Rachel Roth was born to a human mother on the otherworldly plain Azarath. Her mother didn't say yes to having a kid, but still kept her and hid her from her father. Fearing for her mother's and teacher's safety, she soon went to Earth, but was found by an immortal. Taken back by her father, she was forced to help him conquer the multiverse. While going to Earth, she met her friends, the Teen Titans, and it was there she met her love, Beast Boy.
Batman: It was on the team where she learned to hone her abilities. She can teleport, cast magic, fly, make herself intangible, and even alter matter at the atomic level. She can even trap people in her own pocket dimension. This is her soul self, which can trap enemies and act as a battering ram against her opponents. However, with her immense power, there comes a terrible cost. She risks opening the gate for Trigon to enter. If she gives into her dark side, like Vader, she becomes Dark Raven.
Venom: What a cheap-ass name. With her new form, she can shoot eye lasers like Superman, shape-shift, and even kill you in an instant. Shit, man, and we thought males were the tougher ones. In the recent ones, she has shown to rid of Trigon's control. She even wears white, like Gandalf, to celebrate. So, she shall pass. She even once wore it to celebrate her wedding... which didn't happen. Fucking reboot.
Batman: She's bent steel, been thrown through a brick wall, shrugged off attacks that can hurt Donna Troy, who can survive moon busting attacks, flew from Earth to the Moon in seconds, putting her at speed near that of light, and defeated her father. Trigon was a being comparable to the Spectre, who is God's divine wrath. The Spectre was able to match Dr Fate, who could survive the collapse of the DC multiverse.
*Note: The main DC universe is 100 trillion light years. While the exact length of the unknown universe is unknown, it's suggested that the maximum length is likely infinite.*
Venom: However, this power is like a double bladed sword. If the Soul-Self is damaged, she gets hurt, too.
Batman: But, with her friends at her side, Raven eventually defeated her father and was free from his control. If you think you'd hit on someone like her that easily, you're a bird-brain.
Raven: What's the matter? Afraid of the dark?

Pre-Fight[]
Batman: These combatants are ready. And now...
Both: It's time for a Death Battle
Fight[]
*We look at the Titans Tower. Inside, Raven is seen meditating in her room when she hears a knock at the door.*
Raven: Go... away, Garfield.
*No answer. The knocking happens again.*
Raven: I said, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
*Raven's eyes turn red as they dash towards the door. In the door is a red blade stuck in it. The blade pulls out and the door opens. A girl in black stands there.*
Raven: What do you want, an autograph? Cause if so, fuck off. I'm not the type who gives those things.
???: It's not that I want. It's you that I want. You're too dangerous. Although I might not have seen it, I've heard of it, in snipets. So, you're gonna have to come with me, monster.
Raven: Me? A monster? I'll show you a monster.
FIGHT
*The girl in black pulls out another blade. This is Ryuko.*
Raven: You know, you shouldn't be touching that. You'll poke your eye...
Ryuko: SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!
*Ryuko transforms into her synchronized form and prepares to slash at the half demon. Raven counters with a shield and blocks it.*
Senketsu: She might be a difficult one, Ryuko.
Ryuko: If that's so, we'll have to go as hard as we can.
*Raven seems confused as Ryuko is talking.*
Raven: You must be crazy talking to your clothes.
*Ryuko doesn't answer, but rams into her with her rocket form. Raven retaliates by using her Soul-Self to push back.*
Ryuko: Cheap-ass copycat.
*Raven teleports them to the outskirts of the Tower to a desolate place. Ryuko slashes at Raven and Raven fires beams of dark magic back.*
Raven: Now I'll show you.
*Ryuko smirks as Raven says the statement, but begins to have a shocked face when she sees what the half-demon means.*
Ryuko: Fine, if you can do that, so can I.
*Ryuko turns golden and impales Raven, flying into space.*
Ryuko: Alumni Mode.
*The scissors turn giant.*
Ryuko: Say goodnight, bitch.
*The blades enclose the half-demon, seemingly trapping her inside.*
Ryuko: Is it done?
Senketsu: I think so.
*The blades rumble with fury and break into pieces, one stabbing Ryuko in the arm.*
Raven: Now witness the true power of a half-demon.
*She thrusts Ryuko to Earth, slamming her into the ground.*
Raven: Azarath Metrion Zinthos.
*As she says this, Ryuko screams in agony as she is wiped from existance. Raven passes out from too much power usage.*
Post-Fight and Analysis[]
Batman: Welp, time to look for another co-host.
Venom: Two's enough. While base Raven had a hard time getting past Ryuko's healing factor, control, and her various techniques, she made up for in everything else.
Batman: While Ryuko could defeat Ragyo, who could cover the entire Earth in Life Fibers and withstand a hit worth 650 exatons of TNT, Raven defeated stronger opponents, like Trigon. Trigon is comparable to the Spectre, who could match Dr Fate. Fate could survive the collapse of the multiverse and his helmet alone could travel at "the velocity of God." Something which can't really be measured when compared to the Mach 8,000 tennis ball feat. Plus, Raven had plenty of spells Ryuko wouldn't see coming to keep her at bay.
Venom: While both were incredibly talented and attractive according to the fanboys, Raven's sheer strength, speed, and spells snipped the edgy girl with scissor blades' chances of winning.
Batman: Ryuko fans are gonna be Raven mad about this.

Connections[]
The similarities between these characters is that they are both fan-favorite, strong, teenage, female characters with horrible parents who seek to conquer the Earth (Trigon and Ragyo Kiryuin). Both wear dark clothing (dark purple and black) and have a non-human being on them (Raven possessing a demon and Ryuko with Senketsu), had their parents wanting to protect them from their evil parents (Raven's mother and Ryuko's father). Both also became friends with a soft-spirited teammate (Starfire and Mako) and become protectors of the Earth by joining teams (Teen Titans and Nudist Beach).
