Description[]
Monsterc Inc VS The Incredibles! It’s time for the Pixar characters with the ability to blend into their surroundings to take part in a death battle. Who will win? The Superhero or the monster?
Intro[]
Wiz: When it comes to super powers, the abilities that allow one to blend into one’s environment and disappear from view is extremely useful for stealth and infiltration purposes. Sneaking up on enemies and taking them out is not that hard when they don’t see you coming until it is too late.
Boomstick: That’s cool and all but that’s probably not what everyone would do if they gained invisibility all of a sudden. Regardless, there are so many different fictional characters that possess these kinds of abilities that it would take hours to name them all. Pixar even has two of them and they couldn’t be any more different from each other.
Wiz: Randall Boggs, The Former Second-Place Top Scarer of Monsters, Inc
Boomstick: and Violet Parr, The Eldest Child of the Parr Family. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Randall Boggs[]
Wiz: Parents probably think it’s just their children’s wild imagination when they say a monster came out of their wardrobe in the middle of the night to scare them. Are they just the figments of a child’s imagination though? The answer is no as behind every wardrobe is a portal to another dimension filled with fearsome creatures that are actually as afraid of the children as they are afraid of them.
Boomstick: Kind of pathetic when you think about it. They might look weird or downright terrifying but they are just as boring as regular joes and have the same mundane problems we do. That they need the scream of children to power the giant city they all live in is kind of cool I guess. Doesn’t excuse that most of them start screaming and crying when they see a little kid.
Wiz: The scarers of Monsters Incorporated are the ones responsible for collecting screams by entering the human world. While most of them are actually rather good peop....I mean monsters like James P. Sullivan AKA Sulley and Mike Wazowiski, one of them is everything you would think a monster to be. Greedy, manipulative, and ruthless are terms which describes Randall Boggs perfectly.
Boomstick: Having graduated from the unoriginally named Monsters University, Randall became one of Monsters Incorporated’s best scarers. Unfortunately for him, the monster he despised the most in the entire world and who had humiliated him unintentionally was the one who had the top spot. Being the sore loser he was, he ruined his career just to get the chance to finally surpass his rival.
Wiz: Randall might be one of Monstropolis most infamous criminals....
Boomstick: Monstropolis? Really?
Wiz: ........but he was the former second best scarer for a reason. His ability to blend into his surrounding like a chameleon earned him that spot legitimately and even became the top scarer for a couple of seconds even before he and the CEO of Monsters Incorperated, Henry J. Waternoose, came up with a plan to kidnap children from all around the world and use a machine to extract their screams.
Boomstick: Thats actually pretty dark for a kid movie involving domesticated monsters. Randall's camouflaging skills isn’t the only impressive about this purple alligator-like monster though. He can cling to walls like Spiderman, has shown decent enough hand-to-hand prowess to go up against opponents much more physically stronger than himself, and is much faster than he looks at first glance.
Wiz: Due to his serpent-like body structure, Randall can move at great speeds and get around easily with impressive agility. He easily caught up with a fleeing Mike and even managed to get ahead of him without Mike noticing in no time at all. He’s also quick enough not to get pinned by the Scream Extractor thrown towards him as well as being able to move around the Door vault much more easily than Sulley and Mike. An example of this is when Randall was slammed backwards by a door curtsey of Mike but was still able to catch up to him and Sulley on the conveyor belt just a couple of seconds later.
Boomstick: Randalls also is surprisingly strong for being a skinny purple lizard. He has been able to knock his rival Sulley sliding backwards a couple of times with his tail with one of those times resulting with Sulley being sent flying through a door breaking it into pieces in the process.
Wiz: When you combine all of this with his ability to become near invisible at any time, Randall is one monster you don’t want to mess with. It is no wonder he was able to give Sulley such a hard time and nearly kill him on multiple occasions. Doesn’t mean Randall is invincible though.
Boomstick: He is definitely not invincible at all. The purple lizard is actually the worst glass cannon I have ever seen. That he was knocked out by one punch to the face curtsey of Sulley, who is strong enough to tear out large pieces of machinery, I can accept but not him almost being beaten into submission by a 2-year girl with a baseball bat.
Wiz: Yeah that would be very embarrassing for someone as short-tempered and selfish as Randall. His ego and conniving personality as well as his jealousy towards Sulley is preventing the monster from reaching his full potential. It is kind of sad though how jealousy could turn a polite and nervous nerd into a hateful and despicable egomaniac. That is what happened to Randall in a nutshell.
Boomstick: That camouflaging of his isn’t perfect either as snow and large doses of water has been shown to affect it making it easier for those around him to find the invisible jerk. That’s not forgetting the fact That Randall skin changed to all of the colors of the rainbow when hit rapidly in the face by Boo and her baseball bat.
Wiz: Those indeed are some rather big weakness but that does not mean it’s a good idea to underestimate Randall. Adding to what we have already mentioned the monster has accomplished is that serpentine body of his being tough enough to strangle someone like Sulley to death almost, him being able to knock out monsters with a single hit from behind, and……………….
Boomstick: Why did you just stop talking Wiz? Did something on those notes of yours catch your attention?
Wiz: If I’m reading this in front of me correctly, Randall and Waternoose teamed up with Sid from Toy Story to get revenge Mike and Sulley at some point after their original defeat at the hands of the duo.
Boomstick: That…actually explains a few things if both those franchises take place in the same world. No wonder they are take-off running and screaming when they get into contact with those pieces of plastic. I would as well if my toys suddenly came to life and started talking.
Wiz: Speaking of toys, those G.I. Joe action figures of yours that you insisted on placing throughout out office seems like a bad idea right now doesn’t it Boomstick?
Boomstick: ……..Excuse me Wiz but I just remembered I had to do something far away from all those plastic eyes that are probably staring at me from behind at this exact moment. (Boomstick runs out of the studio as fast as his legs can muster)
Wiz: That should teach him not to leave his trash around the office. Getting back to our monster combatant, don’t mess with Randall because you won’t see him coming as he comes to take his revenge.
Randall: I am about to revolutionize the scaring industry, and when I do, even the great James P. Sullivan will be working of me. First I need to know where the kid is and you're gonna tell me.
Violet Parr[]
Wiz: In a world where being a superhero and using ones power for good is illegal….
Boomstick: Which is one of the dumbest thins I have ever heard about. Sure heroes does cause a ruckus wherever they go but do the politicians of this world really believe the villains will just disappear as well and are not at all responsible for causing destruction? The higherups of this world are really dumb.
Wiz: True Boomstick but at least thanks to a certain family of superheroes and their allies, this law was abolished eventually. The Parr family AKA The Incredibles hardly needs an introduction seeing how the Pixar movie they appeared in is one of the most well-known.
Boomstick: Don’t forget the fact that the sequel took forever to come out as well as the fact that if Marvel wasn’t currently under the command of the great and powerful mouse, they would have sued Pixar a long time ago for creating an actual good Fantastic 4 movie.
Wiz: Each member of this family is special but one of them actually has two abilities instead of just one. According to Edna Mode, it is rare for Supers to be born with more than one ability. With the exception of Jack-Jack, Violet Parr is the most special of the 3 children of the Parr Family.
Boomstick: Marvel really should have sued when they had the chance. This girl is basically a child version of the Invisible woman except not anywhere near as strong. The invisibility and the ability to create forcefields makes this really obvious.
Wiz: That’s not exactly being fair on Violet Boomstick. While her forcefields are not on the level of the Invisible Woman, these near-indestructible purple-tinged force field are powerful enough to withstand automatic gunfire, small airships crashing into them, an exploding aircraft colliding with them from above, the combined effort of being blasted with both electricity and telekinesis, ice blasts, the explosion of a powerful engine blowing up in close proximity to them, and even being covered with lava spew.
Boomstick: I see your point Wiz. You forgot the Omnidroid feat though. You do remember the 5 stories tall robot whose metallic arms were unable to break through Violets forcefield right? The force of those blows was strong enough to crack the street below Violet and when one of the few things shown being able to break these fields is this giant robot using its entire weight to smash it apart; you know you have a strong forcefield user on one’s side.
Wiz: These forcefield can vary size and can be used to surround herself for defense or on others by trapping them in one of the forcefields If Violet wishes it. Violet can also create multiple forcefield at the same time and even levitate slightly when surrounding herself with one of her forcefield in the air.
Boomstick. The forcefield are awesome but continuously using them drains this 14-year-old girls’ stamina rather quickly. Every hit these forcefields take decreases her stamina even more. Let’s talk about her second ability now which is one ability I can think of a million possible uses to if I possessed it.
Wiz: Invisibility is one power you only have in my nightmares Boomstick. Turning invisible for long stretches of time is very useful for stealth or surprise attacking one’s enemy. Violet has used this quite often to her advantage like during the battle on Nomanisan Island, the infiltration of Deavors ship, and confusing the Omnidroids claws. She can only however turn herself invisible and not objects like her clothes. Luckily Edna Mode fixed this problem by creating a super suit that turns invisible along with Violet……………..Aren’t you going to make a crude joke like you always do Boomstick?
Boomstick: It might be hard to believe Wiz but even I know that there are things you don’t make jokes about. What I will say though is that I want a super suit like hers seeing as it is durable enough to withstand the blades of a kitchen sink's garbage disposal. It might be even more durable though as it survived being blasted by anti-aircraft missiles. This is debatable though since Helen suit did take most of the blast protecting Violet and Dash. Either way, can you make a suit like that for me Wiz?
Wiz: Make one? Probably. For you? Definitely not. Speaking of the suit, it is actually more durable than Violet is herself but that isn’t the girl’s biggest weakness. A smart opponent can use the environment around them to find Violet when she is invisible and as for her personality; her general shyness and not having much confidence was a rather weakness as well. Note though that I said it was a weakness and not that it still is.
Boomstick: Yeah while for most of the first movie Violet was thrust out of her confidence zone and relied mostly on her forcefields for defense, every event from the battle with the Omnidroid to her and her sibling rescuing their parents from the Screenslavers control shows a very different girl that has embraced her powers and shown more confidence in herself and being a superhero.
Wiz: The sequel definitely showed an evolution of Violets character and in how she used her powers. For example, Violet learned how to create projectiles strong enough to destroy a car using her forcefields as well as how to use them in close quarters combat. By forming part of her forcefields in front of her to ram into her opponents, Violet defeated the mind controlled Voyd in close quarters combat. Its very much an upgrade from how she used to be at the beginning of the first movie.
Boomstick: The fight with Voyd actually also presents Violets best strength and durability feats that has nothing to do with her powers and suit. She took a punch to the face and still kept on going and later showed the strength to overpower Voyd when the mind-controlled hero grabbed her. The girl is also much more athletic and quick than your usual girl as well which can be seen during this fight and she was also able to catch up with the Underminers drill effortlessly earlier in the movie. Violet isn’t half-bad, but my favorite is still Jack-Jack. That demon-baby is just so cute and scary at the same time.
Wiz: In terms of intelligence; Violet's intellect can be argued to be the highest of her family. She has been shown to be a quick thinker in dangerous situations seeing as she was the one to come up with the plan to prevent the rampaging boat from crashing into the city and being the one to save herself and her family from Syndromes electric gauntlets using her forcefields.
Boomstick: This girl is still an Invisible woman rip-off in my opinion but even I have to admit Violet is pretty impressive in her own way that separates the two. Now lets hope we don’t have to wait 14 more years for the next installment. Otherwise the mouse will have a long talk with my shotgun.
Wiz: Boomstick, you do know you just threated one of the largest studios of all time right along with one of the greatest mascots of all time right? It is your funeral; not mine.
Boomstick: They will have to catch me first Wiz. I would like to see them getting past my machine gun…………..…… I just made things much worse now didn’t I?
Wiz: Probably. Just be glad that people like Violet and her family isn’t on your trail. With this mature girl on your heels, you can be guaranteed not to see her coming and if you do; expect to see a purple-tinged force field heading for you before blacking out.
Bob Parr: I used to know what's right but I'm not sure anymore. I just... wanna be a good dad.
Violet Parr: You're not good... you're super.
Intermission[]
Wiz: All right, the combatants are set, it's time to end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!
Death Battle![]
The Parr house:
For once, the home of the Parr family aka The Incredibles was silent. Bob and Helen were out fighting crime in the city, Dash was at a friend’s house, and Jack-Jack was for the moment sleeping peacefully in his baby cradle. The remaining member of the family was currently watching TV in the main room of the house.
Violet Parr was bored. She could have gone with her parents to fight crime but someone had to stay home and watch Jack-Jack. It didn’t bother her that much nowadays that she had to do babysitting while her parents were away doing hero work because of all that hap happened with the Screenslaver incident. That didn’t make her current situation any less boring, especially with Jack-Jack actually being asleep for once instead of teleporting around the house.
It was Friday night though so her parents probably didn’t mind that she marathoned a couple of superhero movies Voyd had lent to her. As Violet went out into the kitchen to get some snacks, she didn’t notice the front door open slightly.
When Violet came back from the kitchen, the door was fully closed once again. The door to Jack-Jack room however was closing itself quietly. Someone had entered the youngest Parrs room and had snuck past the older Parr downstairs without her knowledge.
As the door closed behind him, Randall Boggs made himself known in the room by appearing out of nowhere right besides the baby cradle. Sullivan might have prevented his little scheme in Monstropolis but if he couldn’t test the Scream Extractor there; he would have to do it in this disgusting world.
A new scream extractor had he just finished using whatever scrap he could find and now it only needed a child to test it. The sleeping figure that Randall was looking down upon was perfect. At least this one couldn’t fight back and hit him with a baseball bat.
Randall flinched at the memory as it reminded him sorely of his defeat at Sullivan's hand before a evil smile appeared on his face as he reached his hands down towards his prey. Soon enough once he brought his research back home, his machine would make everyone forget that infuriating Sullivan.
Randall: Hope you are having good dreams little one. I will enjoy snuffing them out and replacing them with your biggest nightmare.
As he gripped the sheets with his hand and threw it on the floor, the monster came face to face with a……………….teddybear?
Randall couldn’t believe his eyes. He was sure that that the baby had been there just a couple of seconds ago. In anger, Randall broke the baby cradle with his tail and stomped hard down with his foot on the pieces. The thought of a small helpless baby having escaped his grasp made Randall furious. This was now personal. That little brat was going into the scream extract whether it wanted or not and Randall was going enjoy every little moment of misery.
Randall: I won’t let another small brat get the best of a top scarer like myself. Come on out from wherever you’re hiding. I am in no mood for games.
The sound of a baby laughing from outside the window caught Randall's attention immediately as the monster ran over to the window and looked outside. His gaze eventually fell on one of the strangest sights he had ever laid his eyes upon.
What was this strange sight that Randall had caught glimpse of, you ask? It was Jack-Jack Vs Raccoon round two with the poor animal in question being chased by an army of demon babies.
Randall: What the………?
More Randall didn’t manage utter before something hard smashed into him from behind sending him flying through the window and down out onto the backyard. The monster landed onto the ground with a grunt of pain while the attacker landed on her feet.
Violet: Don’t touch my little brother!
Violet was silently thanking Dash for having a good idea for once and setting up a camera in Jack-Jack's room as she stared down the monstrous intruder in front of her. Jack-Jack however was nowhere is sight. He had not been in the baby cradle nor in the grasp of the intruder so where was he?
Her question got answered immediately as she saw Jack-Jack riding a raccoon into the woods as if he was a small cowboy.
Violet: Get back here Jack-Jack. That’s dangerous.
The 14-year old girl didn’t get the chance to run off after her baby brother into the forest as Randall placed himself in her way looking very pissed off.
Randall: You shouldn’t have done that child. Now both you and that freak of a baby will go into the Scream Extractor.
Violet didn’t exactly know what a scream extractor was exactly but she definitely knew that this creature was bad news. Seems like this night wasn’t going to be so boring after all.
Violet: I don’t know what you are but you really picked the wrong family to mess with.
Randall: Spare me your nonsense girl. I have made girls like you scream their hearts out before. You will be no different.
FIGHT!
The monster spared no time at all and charged Violet only for him to run straight into a newly created forcefield that surrounded the girl from all sides. The force behind the impact caused Randall to stagger backwards seeing nothing but stars for a couple of seconds. Violet let out a small smirk as she saw this.
Violet: I am not a regular girl you know. I am a superhero.
This didn’t last long however as Randall quickly recovered and started to pummel the forcefield with a barrage of punches fueled by all of his anger. He wasn’t about to let this freak of a girl beat him.
Randall: You might have powers but I will still beat you in the end girl.
The punches connected hard with the forcefield and continued to do so as Randall punched with all the strength the monster could muster at the forcefield. None of the monster's attempts had any effect as it tanked everything Randall could throw at it whether he punched, kicked, headbutted, or slammed it with his tail. Even with all this however, Randall continued his assault determined to make his opponent scream in fear at any cost necessary.
As her forcefield was bombarded with attacks from the outside, Violet had to admit that the monster’s attacks weren’t half-bad as she had to grit her teeth somewhat to keep forcefield from dissipating. The force behind them were nothing compared to the Omnidroid massive strength though.
Violet: Yeah sure, you are going to beat a girl with forcefield powers whose super-powered parents will be home any second to beat you up even worse than me.
The sarcastic comment did nothing to slow down Randall's assault. What did cause him to slow down though was Violet deactivating her forcefield and sidestepping out of the way of the monsters next attack. Randall's powerful punch caused him to stagger forward losing his balance in the process. This gave Violet the perfect opportunity to send a powerful kick Randall's way that sent the monster backwards right into the nearby swimming pool.
Violet: I almost feel sorry for you villain. You must have really bad luck to choose this house of all the places in this city to abduct kids. Jack-jack however won’t go anywhere with you
Water splashed everywhere as Randall quickly got out of the pool dripping everywhere and went in for a counterattack with his tail. The tail was immediately countered by one of Violet's forcefields. As much as Randall hated to admit it, brute strength wasn’t working. It was time for a stealthier approach.
Randall: You am not the only one with abilities child. Now you see me and now you don’t.
As Randall activated his camouflage and disappeared from view, Violet's eyes widened in surprise. This villain could turn invisible just like her? Could this villain do it as good as her though? With this on her mind, Violet turned herself invisible as well.
She could not see Randall's reaction but she could hear his outraged outburst at this new development.
Randall: So you want to play hide and seek? Let’s play then and see whose camouflage is the best; me, a top scarer, or you, a child who’s screams will soon become like music to my ear.
The answer to who had the best invisibility was rather quickly answered as one of the combatants let out a loud grunt of pain. One of them had been found and seeing as Randall was the one screaming curses, it was obvious who had found who first.
The first fist to his face caught Randall by surprise and when he next felt himself being kicked in the stomach, Randall started to get really annoyed. Camouflage was his thing and a 14-year old girl was besting him at his own game. Randall was so angry that he didn’t notice that the water dripping off him was giving away his position. As Randall felt himself being punched from behind, the monster finally decided to fight back.
Randall: I’ve had about enough of this foolishness. Let see how you handle this.
With a powerful swing of his tail, Randall turned around and went in for the attack. His tail however only hit empty air. Violet had been there just a couple of seconds but now she was behind Randall again about to ram him with one of her forcefield. The force of the impact caused Randall's camouflage to deactivate as he was sent flying right into the Parr family’s large grill. It broke into a million pieces upon Randall colliding with it covering the monster in tons of ash in the process.
The invisible Violet let out a nervous chuckle at this. Her parents would not be happy that she just ruined their expensive new grill even if it had happened during a fight with a villain.
Violet: Can you please just fall unconscious already? I need to find Jack-Jack and you’re monologuing is kind of getting on my nerves.
Before she could proceed to knock the monster in front of her out cold, Randall grabbed a hand full of ash and threw it in as many directions that he could. Some of that ash hit Violet right in the face temporarily blinding her.
A huge sadistic smile appeared on Randall's face as he heard his opponent started cough loudly because of all the ash. This was his chance to finally strike back seeing as he finally had a visual on Violet. He could still not see her but some of the ash had also gotten onto Violet's super–suit making it rather easy to find her.
With great speed, Randall charged at his opponent who had no time to react as Randall headbutted her to the ground. Violet quickly got up, her invisibility gone, and barely avoided being hit with by Randall's tail. In response, Violet created one of her forcefield projectiles and threw it at her opponent. It hit its target but Randall powered through the pain as he released an angry hiss in response.
Violet tried to surround herself with another forcefield like before but this time things didn’t go like before. To her surprise, Randall managed to close the distance between them in just a couple of seconds and managed to get inside the forcefield before it closed. Before Violet could do anything about this new development, Randall jumped onto her used his serpentine body to constrict her throat.
Randall: Not so confident now are we girlie. If you won't scream for me, I will just have to silence you permanently. Don’t worry though, that brother of yours will be in great hands.
Those words had Violet seeing red as she tried to the best of her ability to respond to Randall's arrogant statement. The monster strangling her didn’t make it any easier.
Violet: Nobody threatens my family and gets away with it, monster!
Despite being about to be strangled to death, Violet did have a plan in mind to get out of this situation. It wasn’t exactly the safest though, so she used what strength she had left to reinforce her forcefield and started to slowly walk backwards. Her overprotective mother would definitely not have agreed to this plan if she had been there at the moment.
The former top scarer took notice that the girl had a determined look on her face instead of the scared one he had been expecting. He strengthened his hold around her throat but it didn’t make her stop from walking backwards. Randall turned around to see where the girl was taking them only for his eyes to widen as he strengthened his grip even more.
What had caused Randall to panic exactly? The fact that Violet was taking them towards the end of the yard was alarming Randall greatly. Especially when one considered that the Parr residence was located on a steep cliffside and Violet was currently just a few step from the edge. Randall was smart enough to realize what was about to happen.
Randall: Uh Oh.
Violet: I am going to be feeling this tomorrow.
With one last step backwards, the forcefield went tumbling down the cliff at a great speed.
Randall and Violet: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
As the forcefield speed up down the cliff and into the forest below, Randall lost his grip on Violet's throat and as a result; he went bouncing as if he was in a pinball machine around the inside of the forcefield. Randall’s loud shrieks of pain would have made Violet smile if it hadn’t been for the fact that the forcefield was out of control because of its incredible rolling speed and crashing into every single tree it came across. The pain was so great that Violet was barely able to keep the forcefield materialized.
Violet: This may not have been such a great idea after all!
Randall: GEETT MMEE OOFF THHISSS RRIDDE!!!!!!
Randall's loud screaming didn’t help her concentration either. Seeing however as she was about lose the grip on her forcefield any second now, Violet quickly deactivated her forcefield and jumped to the side landing roughly on the ground. Randall however crashed right nearest tree cleaving it in two in the process.
The monster was covered with scratches and blood was dripping down his face from a large wound on his forehead. Randall was in very bad shape. What had started as a simple kidnaping mission had gone way out of the monster’s control. His chances of success had become extremely low. Randall's stubbornness and pride however were not about to accept this however as he used his camouflage ability to disappear from view once again.
As Violet groggily got back up on her feet, she quickly put up another forcefield around herself seeing as her opponent had probably gone invisible again. She may be exhausted at the moment but that didn’t mean she was about to give up. Especially with her brother’s life at stake.
Violet: Haven’t we already played this game before? You won’t get past my forcefield, you know.
Randall's answer to this was using his tail to send a tree falling on top of Violet. It hit its target but the forcefield around her cleaved the fallen tree in two as it fell upon the forcefield.
Randall: I won’t be defeated by a mere child. I am Randall Boggs; the top scarer of Monstropolis. I am every child’s nightmare.
Pure rage and frustration was pumping through Randall's injured body as he charged Violet. His original goal was all but forgotten and had been replaced by an extreme desire to tear the brat in front of him limb by limb.
Instead of waiting for Randall to come closer, Violet opened up her forcefield somewhat to send a barrage of forcefield projectiles towards her opponent. Randall sidestepped most of them but one of them hit the monster right between the eyes.
Losing his sight for a short moment didn’t detract Randall at all as he continued charging forward even without his sight. His vision finally returned as he finally came upon the forcefield and was about to whack it with his tail only to notice something. The forcefield was empty.
A sudden invisible kick from behind alerted Randall of Violet's presence. As he turned around to counterattack however, the monster found itself staggering backwards due to a barrage of forcefield projectiles colliding with him. Violet then quickly used this opportunity to generate a new forcefield around Randall effectively trapping the villain and rendering it impossible for him to escape.
Violet was breathing heavily as she reappeared. This battle had taken a lot out of her and she could feel her body protesting as she walked up to the forcefield containing her opponent. She couldn’t stop herself however from forming a smirk on her face as she witnessed Randall trying to headbutt his way out of his prison.
Violet: Save your villainous monologues for your future cellmates at the maximum prison which will soon be your new home. I will just have to keep you trapped until mom and dad comes home first.
That was easier said than done however. The continued use of her forcefield had left her extremely exhausted. Violet didn’t know if she could Randall confined until her parents got back but she would surely try.
What happened next made Violet forget her troubles momentarily in as she felt something touch her feet. A feeling of relief washed over Violet as she looked down on Jack-Jack gazing up at her laughing. That feeling turned to dread as Jack-Jack turned around and started to crawl towards Randall's prison.
Violet: Jack-Jack? What are you doing?
At the sight of Jack-Jack approaching him, Randall let out a loud angry scream as he pushed against the side of his forcefield prison in an attempt to scare the baby. It however backfired as Jack-Jack didn’t start to cry as Randall had expected; an angry expression formed on the baby’s face as he grew into a giant in an instant.
Randall: What the…..?
More Randall didn’t have time to utter as next he found himself flying high into the air after the giant baby kicked the forcefield with as much force he could muster breaking the forcefield in the process. Jack-Jack then immediately shrunk to his regular size, giggling as he watched Randall disappear into the distance.
Randall however was screaming curses and swearing revenge not only on the two Parr children but also the infernal Sullivan. This was not going be the end of him. He would be back to get his revenge. He………..
The monsters plans for revenge came to an electrifying end as he crashed right into the city’s electrical power plant. Crashing through sever power cables and through tons of machinery resulted him being electrocuted to death. The only thing that remained of the former Monster Incorporated scarer was his charred form being ensnared by tons of cables in the air.
As the city before her turned dark all of a sudden and she picked up a laughing Jack-Jack, there was only one thing on Violet's mind. She would be grounded for life once her parents found out about this.
Violet: Maybe it is for the best if we don’t tell mom and dad about all this after, all right, Jack-Jack?
KO!
- Bob and Helen comes home to find the backyard demolished and a tired–out Violet sleeping on the sofa with Jack-Jack sitting beside her watching TV.
- Randalls charred body is found by the electrical power plants employees

Boomstick: For being a battle between people with the power of invisibility, I could still actually make out the majority of this battle and it was freaking awesome.
Wiz: While both of these masters of invisibility from Pixar are very impressive in their own right, it was rather easy to see who had the largest advantage over the other. Randall trumped Violet when it came to strength, speed, and durability. If this only had been a battle of stats, Violet would have lost this fight. Fortunately for her, the eldest child of the Parr family had one ability that completely turned this battle into a complete stomp in her favor.
Boomstick. Randall might be tough but there was no way that he would be able to pierce though the girls forcefields. If a huge 5-stories tall robot can’t smash these field apart without putting in some effort, a purple camouflaging lizard stands no chance of breaking them apart.
Wiz: Now to be fair if Randall had gone up against Violet from the first movie, his chances of victory would have expediently increased due to Violet mainly using her forcefield for defensive purposes and being less confident in herself. In the second movie however, Violet shows much more confidence in herself and using her powers for more offensive purposes both for ranged and close combat.
Boomstick: In terms of intelligence, they were rather even. Randalls sheer arrogance and ego however caused him to seriously underestimate Violet. Can’t blame the monster seeing as the girl does not look like much at first glance but that is still no excuse. Violet on the other hand is arguably is the smartest of her family and is known to come up with quick plans in dangerous situations. The monsters big ego really screwed him in this fight.
Wiz: Also while Randall had the durability advantage as stated before, Violets super suit also gave her some decent durability feats. This means that even if Randall got past her forcefields somehow, he would not be able to one-shott her. The chance of this happening though is extremely low in the first place.
Boomstick: I just realized something Wiz. We have been talking about everything they can do except for the one thing they are famous for. We should probably compare their invisibility skills next and by we; I mean you Wiz.
Wiz: When it comes to invisibility, neither had that much of a advantage over the other. Both have plenty of experience in using this ability of theirs and can be affected by the environment around them but Violets edges out Randalls invisibility in the end by a small margin. This is because while Randall has extremely good camouflage, Violet can make herself vanish completely.
Boomstick: Looking over all this information, Randall never stood a chance. He should have scrammed when he had the chance since taking on a girl with superior invisibility and ridiculously strong forcefield was a real bad idea.
Wiz: Randall gave it his best but in the end, Violet Parr is the true Pixar invisibility master of the two.
Boomstick: At least Violet gave Randall an INCREDIBLE electrifying ending.
Wiz: The winner is Violet Parr.
