R. Daneel Olivaw was built on Earth in the year 5020 AD, and was the first truly human-like robot, meaning that he was virtually indistinguishable from a real human. During his over 20,000 years of life, he lived by the Three Laws of Robotics, and even added to them in the form of the “Zeroth Law of Robotics.” It is this law that drive Daneel to help humanity to grow and evolve.

When meeting Daneel it is impossible to tell that he is not human. He is rather average in height and weight with short, bronze-colored hair. He wears normal clothes for his era in human history.

- Emotion Manipulation - He has the ability to “read” the emotional content of a person’s thoughts and manipulate it. This allows him to have a profound impact in how a person thinks and acts.
