Death Battle Info

Qui-Gon was an exceptionally skilled Jedi master, though he tended to act on his own conscience and not his superiors, which denied him a seat on the council in spite of his talent. He used form VI, focusing on moderation and clean strikes; not even sandy terrain could throw him off balance. Jinn also took time to meditate when given breaks in battle. Despite his skill, he was eventually killed by Darth Maul.

Jinn was fond of using force techniques in battle, or Jedi mind tricks to avoid battles, but was not above using it to manipulate games of chance into his favour.

After his death, Qui-Gon became the first Jedi to return to the world of the living using the force. While Jedi he later taught the technique to, such as Yoda, were able to come back as full-fledged ghosts, Qui-Gon himself only achieved that once, and more often than not spoke as a ghostly voice.
