The transformation section occurs, leaving Qrow amazed, to which Robert James finally gets into a fighting position and says the following

Then Qrow and RJ start fighting, the two of them deal blows, and from there Qrow uses his Harbinger to have some advantage, this allows him to push Robert away a little. This may seem like a surprise, but RJ still has something up his sleeve.
Robert goes towards Qrow and with a knee of energy sends him flying, Qrow recovers thanks to the Aura, and changes the mode of his Harbinger to turn it into a scythe, a surprised RJ says the following.

And then he jumps and with a strong blow causes a shock wave that hurts to Qrow.
Robert James goes towards Qrow, but the latter is protected by the Aura, because then Qrow changes the form of his Harbinger, and now his Scythe is in a state of war, and he hits Robert. But then Robert uses his Wolf Morpher to press a button and then fires a strong beam at Qrow, leaving him somewhat injured.
That's where a crow appears, Robert looks confused, that's where the crow detransforms and Qrow appears now changing the mode of his Harbinger to Shotgun mode, a surprised RJ says the following
Robert James: Did you transform into a crow? How can you do that? Is it some kind of magic?
Qrow Branwen: Eeeeeeh... it's a long story
Qrow begins to shoot at Robert, but the latter dodges each of his shots, Robert also begins to shoot several Wolf Beams at them, but Qrow dodges them, in fact, thanks to the Aura he achieved something. Saving himself from an attack that almost hit him in the face, this is where Qrow says the following in his mind while he continues dodging and shooting.

Qrow gets up in pain and when he sees Robert he begins to project his Aura like energy swords, anyway, Robert responds by unleashing a spinning disk of energy, which destroys the attacks. Qrow changes into the Harbinger's last form, Tonfa, and then he begins to attack Robert James, but the latter does not give up. And in fact, Robert manages to dodge each attack and begins to repeatedly hit Qrow, but the latter had a plan.
Qrow, with the help of his Semblance, makes Robert James unable to dodge his Harbinger's other attacks, and then when he continues hitting RJ, a part of the mountain begins to break. Qrow looks at Robert and says the following.

Robert James and Qrow begin to fight, with the latter trying to hit him with his sword, and the Purple Ranger giving him an energy kick, then Robert sees a hill that is quite close. He then quickly goes towards her, climbing her as fast as possible, Qrow tries to reach him, but RJ with his Wolf Beam prevents him. Robert James was able to face the Phantom Beasts, who are more powerful than Grizzaka, who is stronger than Jelica, who was able to create a storm.

- The connections between Qrow Branwen and Robert James are that they are both characters who are experienced warriors that have to do with some animal feared by humans (the crow and the wolf). Both can transform into the animal they have to do with (Qrow transformed into a crow, and Robert James uses the Wolf Morpher to transform into a Ranger). Both use a spiritual power based on chi (Aura and the Wolf Spirit). They were in academies that trained young warriors (Signal Academia and Pai Zhua). They trust the directors of the academies they were in (Ozpin and Mao). Qrow and RJ have relatives who are also related to animals (Raven with the same animal as Qrow, and Master Finn being in this case his related animal a shark) but ended up having a breakup with them.
