The Protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei I is a young man living with his family in Tokyo. After having a dream involving the Law Hero, Chaos Hero, Heroine, and Yuriko, he is given a computer program that allows him to communicate with and summon demons. He is sometimes referred to as, Sho, Kazuya, Futsuo, or simply, The Hero in various media.
