Private is a supporting character of the Madagascar franchise, and one of the main protagonists of The Penguins of Madagascar and its film. He is the youngest member of Skipper's Team. He is often slapped by Skipper and the other penguins, but he doesn't seem to mind it much. But despite his absent mind at times, he is shown to be a worthy member of Skipper's team and he is loyal to his brothers.
