Daisy vs Cream is a returning matchup by DuchessTheSponge featuring Princess Daisy from the Super Mario franchise and Cream the Rabbit from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Description[]
Super Mario vs Sonic the Hedgehog, the orange and yellow dimstel and distress who are close to the main pink hero, who will win?
Interclude[]
Wiz: Princess Daisy, the princess of Sarasland.
Boomstick: Cream the Rabbit, the adorable little bunny of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Wiz: Two of the orange and yellow side characters to rivaling gaming companies.
Boomstick: They may look innocent and harmless at first but wait til they start fighting, you would not want to mess with them at the end.
Wiz: Will Daisy destroy Cream into an ice cream or will Cream get Cheese to turn Daisy into a chao?
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Daisy Gets Energetic to DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue: Birabuto Kingdom Theme - Super Mario Land)
Boomstick: You're visiting the Mushroom Kingdom? No? You're visiting Sarasland instead? Bummer, it's just the Mushroom Kingdom but way more lame.
Wiz: Well to be honest Boomstick, it's not really as lame as you expect it especially with that tomboyish princess that runs the place.
Boomstick: Another Mario princess? You know with Peach and Pauline, this one better not get kidnapped and have to rely on Mario to save her as well when she was first created.
Wiz: Uh... yea she also kidnapped when she was first made...
Boomstick: Darn it Wiz, do you know how annoying this dimsel-in-distress thing has became in the Mario franchise? Why can't they try something new.
Wiz: I mean she's not entirely like Peach or Pauline like she's... tomboyish... right?
Boomstick: Bullcrap, she's just it. She's all the same, does she date Mario too or...
Wiz: No, she actually dates Mario's green brother, Luigi.
Boomstick: Oh... ok.
Wiz: Well Daisy isn't entirely like Peach, she has her down physical strength being able to launch Bowser to the moon and is more willing of a tomboy to defend her friends.
Boomstick: and remember how Bowser kidnaps Peach to always want to date her? Well Daisy has Waluigi simping for her and wanting to date her which she rejects a lot, some fans also theory at some point they used to date.
Wiz: Even to the point where if you make them a team they will be named the "Awkward Date".
Boomstick: Next thing you know in an alternate universe, we'll be having Wario having a crush on Peach.
Wiz: Despite being a princess, Daisy is shown to be a tomboy. She is spunky, tough, sassy, feisty, fierce, loud, impulsive, cheerful, confident, and energetic. She also has a short temper and often is aggressive towards her enemies. She likes extreme sports, even participating in them if possible.
Boomstick: Daisy also has lots of abilities to like the fire flower and the ice flower and has became playable in Mario Wonder where she and the rest of the Mario cast has to defeat Wonder Bowser.
Wiz: Overall Daisy is a tomboy that you would not wanna mess with, she might not be on Peach's level yet but she still has a lot of stuff up her sleeves that you are not prepared for.
Cream Brings Cheese to DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue: Helping Hand - A Cream the Rabbit Song)
Wiz: The Sonic franchise was always trying their best to bring as much of an audience they can to grow their fanbase and that would also include trying to find ways to get little children to the involvement of the franchise too.
Boomstick: and that brings us to none other then Cream the Rabbit, the soft girl who was designed to get the younger generation into Sonic the Hedgehog and the proud member of Team Rose along with Amy Rose herself and Big the Cat.
Wiz: Raise by Vanilla the Rabbit, Cream has became one of the most popular side characters within the Sonic franchise thanks to the Sonic X anime and the video game Sonic Heroes.
Boomstick: Now despite Cream's young age as a child, she isn't really known to be a fighter thus this is why some people label her as one of the weakest Sonic characters and she would need "Cheese" as her pet to fight for her, without Cheese she is basically a fodder but this has been busted multiple times as she has been shown to hurt or injure other people in the past damaging her image as a sweet and harmless kid.
Wiz: Cream's feats are quite interesting too as she is surprisingly physically strong due to carrying Amy and Big at the same time and has kept up with Amy's speed on multiple occasions granting her infinite speed as well as being able to tank hits and recovered from Team Sonic and Team Chaoix.
Boomstick: Damn, now child abusers really need to watch out because they have no idea what's coming towards them.
Wiz: Cheese also has the ability to rip apart robots and even has the ability to keep up with the Sonic characters in Sonic Heroes so despite being a child, she can still be brave and get the job done.
Boomstick: Now, should Vanilla even be proud of this? I mean for starters, she kinda spoiled her daughter and put her in risk on multiple occasions but at the same time her daughter has grown to have decent battle feats that surpasses anybody in the rabbit family.
Wiz: Good question, I actually don't know.
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
(Location: Sarasland)
Cream and Cheese were just playing in Sarasland and getting some flowers while playing around, Daisy in her castle heard them playing in her kingdom and look out to see what's the fuss is all about.
Daisy: Hey, you there.
Cream: Huh? Hey there Ms. Princess, we were just trying to play around in your castle's garden, we mean no harm. If you want we can put the flowers back.
Daisy: You ripped apart those flowers that I grew for months, do you even realize how much I have to get restored?
Cream: I'm sorry m'am, please don't hurt me and Cheese.
Daisy out of anger eventually slapped Cream to the moon, with Cream eventually screaming in the sky.
Cream: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Cream then remembers hearing Vanilla in her head telling her that she can be a real rabbit and she has the potential to be as strong as she can, remembering those words Cream then dashes back to Daisy and slaps her to the castle causing a massive hole to strike on Daisy's castle, Daisy looking back at her castle seeing the damage Cream caused got more furious at her.
Daisy: Oh, you've done it just now!
Cream: Mother... help...
Daisy and Cream then collide to each other and hit both of each other in the face, then they look back in each other ready for another round.
Cream: Hey watch it lady, I'm just a child.
Daisy: Well... usually I wouldn't want to hurt little kids but because you hurt me first this is the only time I'm making an exception.
Daisy is now seen holding a fire flower and is about to throw it at Cream putting Cream at fear at getting burned by the fire flower, the screen then cuts to black where the preassembly deceased Cream was gone. Daisy thought she won before her opponent then was shown behind of her as she was quick enough to react to the attack.
Daisy: Huh?
Cream: Cheese, get em!
The chao was then summoned in order to attack the princess of Sarasaland, while Cream watches this Daisy eventually grabbed onto Cheese and grabs the ice flower to freeze Cheese into an ice cube leaving Cream in complete shock that she rages out of pure furious.
Cream: HOW DARE YOU!!!
The rabbit raged out in all of her anger and dashes towards the princess to eventually toss her into the ground, her speed was able to catch the ice cube used to freeze Cheese to melt off causing Cheese to recover from Daisy's attack, meanwhile Daisy laying on the floor back from the ground then sees an Elephant Fruit, which gave her an idea. While Cream and Cheese were celebrating Cream rescuing Cheese from Daisy's ice powerup, Daisy has a few final tricks up her sleeves which is using the Wonder Flower and the Elephant Fruit.
Daisy: You're not done yet rabbit.
Cream: Huh... wha-
Daisy then eats the Elephant Fruit turning her into Elephant Daisy which completely freaks out Cream and Cheese by the transformation.
Daisy: Wowie zowie!
Cream: HEY WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?
Elephant Daisy then comes back to attack Cream with her trunk coming up to attack Cream's ears. Cream however is not ready to give up, she forms up into a curb ball into Elephant Daisy and runs up into Daisy but Daisy stays as far as she could so Cream could not remove her back, Cheese who sees this though then knows he has to help Cream so with Daisy distracted Cheese then attacks Daisy from the back reverting her back to a human. Cream was actually so scared to what Daisy has next in stock. After Cream saw the Wonder Flower in Daisy's pocket, she knows she has to get out of Daisy's pocket before it gets used through the feat of the Elephant Daisy transformation.
Cream: YOU ARE NOT GONNA FINISH ME OFF THIS TIME!
An invincibility box is then seen next to the corner, Cream then jumps on it and then Cream then dashes to Daisy and grab the Wonder Flower, Daisy and Cream both shake with Cream not knowing what's going on in the location after she got the flower.
Daisy and Cream: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
The background eventually changed after Cream touched the Wonder Flower, not knowing she screwed herself over and gave Daisy the advantage over her.
Daisy: Oh you're done now rabbit.
Cream: OH NO, NOT THIS AGAIN!!!
Daisy then dashes up to Cream with the new Wonder Flower power while Cream tries to hold it back with her invincibility, she eventually realized she needs to find a way to stop the Wonder effect to give her the win. Cream keeps trying to punch Daisy but realized with the Wonder Flower she's too durable so all she can really do is push back and prevent herself from getting hurt by any means.
Daisy: Alright, you're done now.
Cream: This could be bad but like my mother said... don't give up.
The invincible Cream is now seen flying in the sky trying to throw punches at Daisy with the Wonder Flower but keeps failing, thanks to her speed though she was able to dodge any attacks of Daisy for a while and this eventually keeps up for a few minutes until eventually when they get to the very end Daisy decides to throw one last attack on Cream knocking out her invincibility.
Cream: Why, I'm losing... no... I can't
Cream then looks up in the sky and sees the Goal Pole, she realized this is her last hope to survive and then suddenly a few voices came into Cream's head.
Vanilla: Cream... please, you must not give up... you still have a lot to live for and you must promise me, no matter how many dangers are in your way... you can survive.
Those words in Cream's head made Cream cry for a little bit and then she knew what she has to do. Before Daisy could finish Cream off once and for all, Cream jumped into the sky and grabbed the Goal Pole alternating everything including Daisy's powers back to normal.
Daisy: Huh, what?
Cream: You are finished now Daisy, you're no match for me now.
Daisy: No... I'm not done yet... I'm going to be taking you with me...
Cream then unleashes one last spin-dash on the weaken Daisy but then Daisy got one last thing up her sleeves too. The moment as Cream dashes up to Daisy slicing her in half, Daisy knew Cream also got weakened by the battle too so she did one last punch launching Cream to the moon while her body got sliced, Cream was then seen screaming the sky only to die by the vacuum of space and because Cream's spin dash sliced out Daisy's organs including her heart and lungs Daisy smiled knowing Cream is dead before she faints and died too.

Aftermath[]
Team Sonic and Team Rose were seen looking for Cream not knowing her body was dead while the Mario cast saw Daisy's dead corpse on the ground as they berry her body.
Results[]
Boomstick: HOLY CRAP WIZ, RUN! THEY ARE COMING FOR US!
Wiz: This fight is actually surprisingly close regardless of how much people can say the difficulty to this would be no or low but this isn't necessarily the case once you look at both their stats carefully. Infact, it could actually go either way depending on what you buy for both characters like Cream could've won if she has knowledge about the Wonder Flower and has preparation in this battle but if she doesn't then Daisy could very well win.
Boomstick: But Wiz, didn't Daisy defeat Bowser by herself in Mario Wonder?
Wiz: No, it's implied at the end that all of the characters fought Bowser together and we don't see the battle so we don't actually know what Daisy did. So for the most part it seems like it was more so an all around team effort and no character through this battle should be able to scale to Bowser due to the fact that so many characters were fighting him at once. (There are 12 playable characters so if all of them fought Bowser that means it was a 12v1) So it doesn't really seem like Daisy should be able to scale since she was fighting Bowser with a lot of other characters who were able to scale to Bowser already rather than her doing it by herself. At best since she helped, we can assume she downscales the other characters (As in tiers lower than the other characters). But do to not fully seeing the battle and it being a team effort between the 12 characters we shouldn't say that she fully scales to the other characters and even then, in the menu option why would the other Mario cast just randomly spawned in the cutscene? Also, would you actually unironically think characters such as Daisy, Peach, Toadette, etc actually beat Bowser by themselves cause if that's the case why would they have to rely on Mario and Luigi to beat him in other games?
Boomstick: Ok, how about the time Daisy punched Bowser to the moon in Mario Party?
Wiz: That scene was more so likely just more of a gag or joke scene rather then actual combat and even then we don't know the full context behind that Mario Party scene so we don't know if Bowser is holding back or not and if you wanna argue that, Cream has taken out moon to planetary robots in the past.
Boomstick: Wait so if that's the case, why didn't Cream just beat Daisy then? If this were to be the case.
Wiz: It's really simple honestly. Cream may have more battle experience, is faster, and has more battle knowledge than Daisy does but at the same time Daisy outhaxes Cream and has more abilities than her.
Boomstick: Well then, can you elaborate all the debate categories perfectly for better context?
Wiz: Most certainly. As for Strength, you may say this point goes to Daisy.
Boomstick: and that is technically right yes?
Wiz: Well... kinda. You see, Cream was able to effortlessly carry Amy Rose and Big the Cat in Sonic Heroes while Daisy has some decent strength feats to launch Bowser to the sky even if we don't know if he's holding back or not that just means Daisy has better attack or battle strength feats than Cream while Cream has better physical strength feats then Daisy.
Boomstick: Woah-ho, that is kinda impressive strength feats for a six year old.
Wiz: Exactly, now for durability this point is actually fairly equal. Both can take hits from Mario and the Sonic team themselves.
Boomstick: How about that feat when Daisy survived a black hole in Mario Party?
Wiz: We don't know the context behind that black hole to begin with so we can't fully scale that black hole pretty high as it could mean anything, even if you wanna use that feat too Cream can withstand attacks from multiple chaos powers that attack opponents with distorted space-time.
Boomstick: Okay so if that's the case, wouldn't Cream fully beat Daisy then due to scaling to Amy?
Wiz: Again, no. She can scale to Base Amy of course but she doesn't fully scale to a full power composite Amy, it would be like saying Rouge scales to Shadow or Tails scales to Sonic.
Boomsticks: Looks like Sarasland got rabbid and I WONDER if Vanilla isn't going to buy DAISIES for this funeral of her daughter.
Wiz: Ok, actually stop with those puns.
Boomstick: Fine...
Wiz: The winner is a stalemate

- The connections between Princess Daisy and Cream the Rabbit are that they are both orange and yellow side characters from rivaling gaming franchises (Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog) with contrasting personalities (Cream being soft and gentle while Daisy is energetic and is willing to fight anyone who gets in or her friend's way), both are seen as the sidekicks of the pink female character (Princess Peach and Amy Rose), both are usually seen as the girlfriends to the duetragonist of the series (Luigi and Tails), both remained inactive from the games but then returned in a game from 2023 (Sonic Dream Team and Mario Wonder), both were the and they both tend to fight back for the people they love, both get kidnapped in their backstories and got rescued by one of the main heroes (Mario and Blaze the Cat), both are the most important character outside of the core cast (Team Sonic and The Seven Star Children), and don't want to disappoint their parents (Daisy's unknown father and Vanilla respectfully).
