Boomstick: Whether you like them or not, hybrids are pretty cool. And I don't mean the cars.
Wiz: While there are certain species that can survive and fight on their own, with the power of other's, they can become extremely powerful. And these two blade wielding warriors in red and black are no different.
Boomstick: Oscura Alma, the wielder of the Scythe of Thangarr from the world of The Owl House.
Wiz: And Ryuko Matoi, wielder of the Scissor Blade from the world of Kill la Kill.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Oscura Alma[]
Wiz: Many dimensions exist with so many differences from ours while having things with the similar concept. One of those worlds is known as The Boling Iles. A world where witches, monsters, and demons live together with their own magical abilities.
Boomstick: But there's one mythical creature that's rarely ever seen. Dragons, who also used to live them, until this totally not Sans type character, Emperor Belos accumulated out of nowhere and told everyone how dangerous they were because the Titan said so.
Wiz: See, the magic the Iles give is incredibly powerful so to decide to see they're power, they called a witches duel to determine how powerful Belos was. Once everyone saw the power he wielded as he took out some of the strongest witches around, most had no choice but to bow down.
Boomstick: As a result, a war between the higher up dragons, the one they see as the most dangerous, broke out with the witches barely winning in the end. Most dragons either died, went into hiding, or tried to find any other Titan corpses to live on.
Wiz: Except a certain species of dragons, known as the Shadow Dragons. While some may think of them as evil, some actually try to protect the Light Dragons, or those who represent the zodiac signs. And with them being nocturnal, they wouldn't bother the people of Bonesborough. However, one Shadow Dragon known as Darknile, was meeting his end. The war had separated their family weather they died or fled, leaving him to be the last of his kind.
Boomstick: But the big guy wasn't going down easy. To make sure that his kind would still exist, he brought a demon, and a witch named Rodrina Appleton to help and forced them to do a ritual that would bring to life the most powerful witch in the history of the Boiling Iles.
Wiz: Belos soon immedirntly found out about this and went to collapse the entire cave. Darknile quickly went into his child's soul to save himself. Rodrina also took them with her once they escaped.
Boomstick: And upon looking at the kid, Rodrina felt like she had some responsibility after the kid since she's technically a part of her and decided to take care of her and gave her the name Oscura Alma. Which, by the way, translates to "Dark Soul". Man, I'm starting to get a lot of names for my future kids.
Wiz: Good luck with that. Oscura was later sent to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics to learn more about magic from the teachers there. She soon became a prodigy and was nominated first for Student of the Year and with her grades being higher than any other students, and her rather high maturity for a child, she skipped multiple grades and was already in the tenth grade by the age of 6.
Boomstick: And it was with the help of her the intelligence from a psychic war demon that's also a part of her. And her pops taught her some tougher skills along with different languages and martial arts but we'll get to that later.
Wiz: Oscura's skills made her the best student Hexside has seen in years and had many other families either impressed or jealous of her. Some of them wanted to put her in her place however.
Boomstick: It's cause of the horns isn't it?
Wiz: Yep and the wings on her back, lack of social skills, and having instances of her talking to herself, it warded some kids away in fear of her and sometimes bullying from other kids.
Boomstick: Yeah and when certain pair of twins started bullying her, she punched them through a wall, breaking all of their ribs in the process. Obviously their parents were pissed. Mainly because she was a hybrid monstrosity and the fact that she was the off-spring from a lower-class family rather than beating up their kids. Damn these two are assholes. This caused her to be suspended for two weeks and Rodrina getting so pissed she made fire spell that incinerated part of the house.
Wiz: The parents then went to tell the Emperor about this who, obviously enraged, sent the Emperor's Coven along with their leader Lilith Clawthorne to capture her and Rodrina immediately. As they came, Oscura tried to fight back, but was ultimately captured. Rodrina then challenged Lilith too a witches duel. If she won, the Emperor's Coven would never have to come in contact with them ever again. But if Lilith won, she would take her to Emperor Belos and send Oscura to the Conformatorium, where notorious criminals are sent for rehabilitation.
Boomstick: Hang on, I thought it was a place for weirdo's who didn't fit in with society.
Wiz: Well in the original show it is. But this version is relatively different that might fix some problems the original show had.
Boomstick: Well after she accepted the challenge, Rodrina pretty much won with total ease. But then one of the guards pulled a dick move and cracked her gem, causing a massive explosion that nearly killed them all. Though Oscura was lucky to survive, but she had to run away to make sure the Emperor's Coven doesn't find her.
Wiz: While she was traumatized and heartbroken, Darknile was able to comfort her and help her through the events that had scarred her and had taught her some skills to fend and defend for herself. She had practiced the skills for the past 17 years and soon became the most powerful witch on the Boiling Iles.
Boomstick: What a nice guy. He's like the father I never had. He even taught her some martial arts over the years. Jujutsu, all about either subduing or killing your opponent, Varma Kalai, all about using pressure points, Iaijutsu, the art of Japanese quick draw, Krav Maga, which includes a philosophy of emphasizing aggression and showing offensive and defensive maneuvers, and Ninjutsu mastering half of the disciplines.
Wiz: Including unarmed combat (Taijutsu), chain and sickle weapons (Kusarigamajutsu), pyrotechnics and explosives (Kayakujutsu), sword fighting (Kenjutsu), disguise & impersonation (Hensōjutsu), throwing blades (Shurikenjutsu), escaping and concealment (Intojutsu), stealth and entering methods (Shinobi-iri), and stick and staff fighting (Bōjutsu).
Boomstick: So you're telling me if I were a ninja, I could just use a big ass to smack people around?
Wiz: Well, yes the word Bōjutsu is combination of bo, meaning wood, and jutsu, meaning art or method. And while it may seem strange for others, bojutsu techniques are actually one of the oldest and most versatile weapons in martial arts.
Boomstick: *Gets a giant steel pipe from one the walls and raises it over his head* Still think they should go with a pipe. It'll make them hurt even more.
Wiz: Ugh, with these skills and techniques, those who ventured to the cave Oscura lived in, would be killed so no one else would find out about them. She only went out to either hunt for food or steal some from the market. She later even snuck past the omniscient Emperor Belos. But to be clear, he already knew she was going to come, he just didn't know when.
Boomstick: And in case you're forgetting, she's a part demon, part witch, part dragon person! You'd have to have some serious balls to take on someone with dragon blood in them.
Wiz: Of course, not many had them. Most people who've heard of the Lost Shadow Dragon, quiver in fear of either being cut in half and eaten.
Boomstick: And because of that, Oscura started to get a bit proud and greedy like how most dragons are and went to steal some gold coins called Snails and bought a castle in the middle of nowhere. Convenience? Probably.
Wiz: That's not the only convenient thing that happened to her. She also found a powerful weapon called the Scythe of Thangarr, a mythical weapon made specifically to kill demons, deplete their targets magic overtime, taking about 2-4 minutes, harm ghost, and stop a person's regeneration by killing the blood cells in the body. It can also survive powerful explosions that would normally destroy other weapons. Along with her palisman, Draco.
Boomstick: Aww, he's kind of cute. It's a miracle how it can stay on something that can create giant tornadoes just by spinning around or slamming it into the ground! One was even big enough to be as tall as The Knee! And it was even able to rip Bonesborough off it's foundation! In a fucking gardening tool!
Wiz: Now the speed of the whirlwind would have to be extremely fast, faster than sound possibly, and Charlotte's scanner said her scythe had the energy of 261,709,448 megawatt hours, equaling 225.18 megatons of tnt. That's enough to power all of New York City for 65,362 years and even more power than the Krakatoa eruption of 1883.
Boomstick: But her magic is also something to look at. Her Abomination magic can create these gooey golems that she can make grow to the size of a 28 story building and can send it's goop in someone's body to control the inside of them as if they were a puppet. Man, I'm getting some Bloodbending vibes from that. Her demon side also gave her some crazy psychic powers like mind control and telekinesis that was able to move The Knee. Comparing it to real life mountains, it would take 8.27 to 29.53 kilotons of tnt to move it.
Wiz: She also has healing patches to heal her wounds after or during a fight, which takes 1 minute to heal completely. Her Construction Coven patches that dramatically increases her magic and physical strength but they can only last for a bit at a time and extensive use of them could destroy her muscles. Along with that, she can create some weapons to use against her opponents with just a bit of minerals and imagination.
Boomstick: Yeah, like a freaking Tree-zooka, where it shoots giant tree roots from it! Now it seems to be based its appearance, it seems to be based on the M9 rocket launcher, that can reach a maximum range of 400-500 yards and has muzzle velocity of 265 fps or 180 mph. She even has an AK-47 made of rock that shoots pebbles at a muzzle velocity 715 m/s. Almost twice the speed of sound. She's also got throwing knives that she can throw in a second!
Wiz: Given the distance that she was standing and the time it took the knife took to get from point A to B (132ft), the knife must've traveled 90 mph.
Boomstick: The world record for fastest knife throwing was 35 mph. Meaning this knife was thrown 2.57 times faster. She can also summon some stone gauntlets that increase her striking power and can hit as hard as a boulder moving at Mach 25 although they can get worn down especially when getting hit by a stronger material like steel.
Wiz: She can summon chained hooks to grab an enemy from a far and bring them up close for stealing others weapons, hanging opponents, and is even able to pierce 55 cm armor. Enough to pierce through the front tank armor of the German Jagdtiger of 1945.
Boomstick: They're not that great at taking damage though. Don't get me wrong, steel is tough but go past the limit and it turns to shambles. Though if I had to pick my favorite weapons, I'd pick the dynamite sticks. They can be used as a distress signal in case she needs help and are powerful enough to blow up a steal door.
Wiz: Her illusion magic can turn into her opponents worst fear, if she knows it. If not, she can use them as a distraction to learn their abilities and fighting style and her fire magic gives her, of course, pyrokinesis. She's able to ignite her fist on fire, turn the ground into literal lava, and create a giant meteor big enough to destroy the Conformatorium. But her most impressive type of magic would be her Shadow Magic, taught by her father. With it, she can condense shadows into various weapons, turn into a shadow to become intangible, make clones of herself, absorb other's magic, create force fields, and send them to a realm of eternal darkness.
Boomstick: He also helps Oscura by telling her when to dodge attacks and is able to deflect magic away. And in case of a sticky situation, he can use his shadow breath, which is hot enough to turn sand into glass in seconds.
Wiz: Oscura can also channel draconic energy to use against her opponents by ramming into them with Charging Dragon, cut them to pieces with Draco Slash, and bite them down with Dragon Bite, which is hard enough to crush stone in an instance.
Boomstick: But if she uses too much of the draconic energy or shadow magic, she goes insane and due to modern shows being like anime, it gives her a new form: Insanity. This form raises her strength, speed, and durability 100x, gaining a more aggressive battle style, almost achieving lightspeed, and nearly bringing her to power of full grown dragon!
Wiz: And if that's not enough, she can absorb the darkness around her to enter her final form: Locura Encarnada. This form can cause an explosion powerful enough to shift clouds away, turn people insane just by looking at her, keep up with Emperor Belos and this version could react to and keep up with a monster who could sore 6.6 billion km in nearly 3.5 minutes, and could use her telekinesis to lift the entire Boiling Iles!
Boomstick: At her strongest, she can disintegrate an entire army of 700 soldiers all at once and survived an explosion that destroyed the bottom and top part of Belos's castle!
Wiz: Based on the size of the castle, taking in the volume 9,718,442,432.4952 cm3, and the pulverization of rock 214.34 j/c, we get yield of 497.86 tons of tnt. Almost 50 times more powerful then the MOAB or Mother Of All Bombs.
Boomstick: Which was the same amount as when her mother's magic gem broke but that's feather weight compared to the time she made an explosion so hard it parted the clouds! She's also lifted a giant ball of gold 8 times her height like it was nothing! Taking in the spheres volume, the weight of gold per cubic foot, and the size, it must've weighed 14,722,028,944 tons! For context, that's like lifting the Great Wall of China 253.41 times!
Wiz: She's also incredibly fast, able to block lightning, dodge lasers, and fly around the Iles in just under 12 seconds when fighting a cybernetic version of her mother. If we take it as ten seconds for the time she went to each of the Titan's hands, then she would have to be flying at Mach 2.87 and if she's ever in a fight against someone faster, she can use her enhanced senses such as smell and hearing to mentally predict when and where her opponent will attack. Her intelligence is incredibly and is very smart in battle, although she can be a bit overconfident and arrogant at times.
Boomstick: Yeah dragons usually have a sense of pride in them, especially when winning a fight. She also can't learn every type of magic and because of the type of dragon she is, and leaves her weak to light and ice magic. Her horns are also the source of her psychic abilities, and if they were to get cut off she would be stunned for a while, and other users of draconic energy can be able to harm her, and sometimes her senses can be taken advantage of.
Wiz: Not only that, she tends to have a habit of overusing her Construction patches and using too much draconic energy which causes her too go into Insanity unintentionally. She also prefers to observe her opponents from afar to study their battle strategy and she can't absorb her own magic to try and become more powerful. Plus, she needs the help of her friends to get her out of her forms, or wait until she runs out of energy as they take a large chunk of it, which causes her to feint.
Boomstick: Luckily, she found some friends in Charlotte, Patricia, Luz, Willow, Gus, Selene, Paprika, and Amity. She even warmed up to the twins after a while and once Belos was defeated, became the new Empress of the Boiling Iles. Oscura is one tough son or uh, daughter of a dragon and will keep on fighting for her friends, no matter what.
Oscura: It's best if you leave now. Before you end up dead like the others that have faced me.
Ryuko Matoi[]
Wiz: Thousands of years before humanity's existence, a sentient alien race known as the Life Fibers crash-landed on Earth and help sped up the humans evolution, creating the human race, and clothes as a side effect.
Boomstick: Sounds nice right? Well turns out, they're actually a race of parasites that use planets to reproduce, infect the dominant race, blow up the planet, and move on to the next.
Wiz: To do this, they got help from a woman named Ragyo Kiryuin, who after discovering them, decided to aid in their conquest by creating a giant corporate clothing empire and use it to take over the world. But it wasn't enough. After fusing with the life fibers that gave her incredible power, she wanted to have a powerful being just like her.
Boomstick: And what's better than having your own kids be those powerful beings? So she then married this scientist named Isshin Matoi and had two kids. But of course, she was a cruel, insane, psychopath. Just saying that sounds like a compliment.
Wiz: To elaborate, when her first child was born, she decided to experiment on them by turning her into a life fiber hybrid. Of course due to her age, so she experimented on them when they were just a new born. The experiment soon seemed to be a failure and Raygo just threw them away, assuming they were dead.
Boomstick: Jeez, that's fucked up. Luckily, Isshin soon realized how her wife was bat shit insane and faking his own death and making a new identity, he decided to raise the child himself.
Wiz: Turns out the child had survived the experiment and became a sentient construct made made out of life fibers. Her name was Ryuko Matoi.
Boomstick: But of course, not everything was all sunshine and rainbows at the Matoi Residence. Ryuko and her pa usually got into a fight every now and then and Ishin later had to send her to boarding school so she can fight everyone else there. However when Ragyo found out Isshin was creating a weapon to stop her conquest, she got someone to track him down, kill him, and steal the weirdest sword I've seen.
Wiz: This weapon was known as the Scissor Blade, a lethal weapon able change it's shape and size with enough powerful enough to cut through buildings and other Life Fibers, which will be important when everyone else is wearing the same material you have.
Boomstick: She can make them small enough to put in her pockets and make them big enough to chop your head and clothes off with Decapitation Mode and were made to be indestructible. Luckily, she has a mastery of swordsmanship without any formal training at all! She's even skilled enough to take on her sister, Satsuki in hand to hand combat!
Wiz: Enraged from her father's death, Ryuko took it upon herself to avenge him. She challenged Honnōji Academy, a school Ragyo owned, and was led by her other daughter, Satsuki.
Boomstick: But when she got the academy, she got beaten up on the first day. Like me at my first day of high school by my brother.
Wiz: In order for her to- wait you have a brother?
Boomstick: Yeah. Why you have something aginst them?
Wiz: No I just, never mind. Anyway, for Ryuko to win, she went back to her old home and after falling through a trap door, her blood dropped on a sentient Goku Uniform known as a Kamui called Senketsu, who was designed by her father for her.
Boomstick: When activated, Senketsu turns into a skimpy sailor suit the feeds off Ryuko's blood. See, this is the fan service angry moms were talking about.
Wiz: And to achieve maximum strength, must be worn completely without shame which obviously makes it difficult. Eventually, Ryuko and Senketsu were able to synchronize and soon became a force to be reckoned with. Her physical strength becomes greatly enhanced strength, speed, and durability.
Boomstick: Basically what you usually get in the Anime protagonist starter pack. Once she and Senketsu started working together, there wasn't much that could stand in their way.
Wiz: Due to being completely made of Life Fibers, Ryuko has gained a quite potent healing factor that can heal any kind of wound. Such as when she got split in half or having her heart reattach itself when Raygo ripped it out along with healing the wound in seconds. In fact, her healing factor is so potent, she starts to heal before the blade has enough time to finish cutting through.
Boomstick: Her finishing move, Fiber Lost, is when she takes a lunging strike at her opponent with her Scissor Blade in Decapitation Mode, good for some slicing and dicing. Their also able to harm and destroy Life Fibers, which are harder than steal, and allowing Senketsu to use his Infinite Absorption power where he takes the power of other Life Fibers and add to his and Ryuko's own.
Wiz: Senketsu's ability to evolve during battle is unique while also being the voice of reason to Ryuko's hot-headed approach to combat. He's also capable of attacking on his own being able to change size, such as when he grew his eye so large, it was able to crush the entire battle arena. He can also extend threads from himself to bind opponents or use the Scissor Blades as a grappling hook. But even that's not the extent of their arsenal: Senketsu has multiple different forms he can transform into, each bringing a unique asset to Ryuko's combat abilities.
Boomstick: She's also really smart in battle, being able to exploit and use her opponents weaknesses against them. Like the time she fought that mummy guy and turned herself into a porcupine once he trapped her and ripped him apart from the inside with a form called Senketsu Senjin.
Wiz: Senketsu Shippu transforms the lower half of the uniform into a jet that allows Ryuko extra agility and fast flight speed, giving her extra mobility and combat versatility and Senjin Shippu combines the two forms, covering Ryuko in spikes while allowing her to fly. Although if she gets to angry, her blood boils and transforms into her Berserker Form that's... quite horrifying.
Boomstick: Come on, it can't be that baaaaaa-
AAAAAAAAH!
K. Got it
Wiz: Berserker Form is extremely more powerful than her other forms however, each one of them is dangerous as it continuously drains her blood and if Senketsu takes too much, she can die from blood loss.
Boomstick: But that's not even close to her definitely not Super Saiyan form and Senketsu turns into his most powerful form, Senketsu Kisaragi. It's way more powerful than any of her other forms and unless her opponent is faster than her, she can tank anything that gets thrown at her.
Wiz: Such as when she had to blast a hole through of Life Fibers that were surrounding all of Earth. Given the size of the hole compared to Japan below them, the density of steal which Life Fibers are stronger than, and the calculating it's volume, this would require a blast of 31 Exatons of tnt.
Boomstick: That's enough to blow up part of the moon! Damn, if I had the power to casually slice buildings miles away from me, move fast enough to create tornadoes, and tank getting stabbed in the chest, I'd take the life of a striper. And after so long, Ryuko found her father's killer and completed the other half of the weapon known as the rending scissors. They can slice through skyscrapers and have their own forms. We already talked about Decapitation Mode but their second one, Alumni Mode makes them so gigantic they eclipse the entire academy!
Wiz: Next to Ryuko, we can see the blades seem to be about 2.5 feet tall. Once grown in Alumni mode, it becomes 1,017 times larger. Meaning that they would have to weigh 3,340,073.09 tons.
Boomstick: She can even move fast enough to cut a bunch of tennis balls 5 times each in a few seconds! Given the distance, her height, the fastest tennis serve, counting the times she swung, and the fact she did this to 214 balls, should lead to reaction speeds of really fucking fast!
Wiz: Or about Mach 7,779.3. She also rocketed into the atmosphere in under 18 seconds. Given the length of the distance where Ryugo was, Ryuko must've been moving up to speeds of nearly Mach 534.
Boomstick: Despite that, Ryuko's of course, not invincible and she if she loses too much blood, she'll revert her back to her regular form and have her die pass out and if any part of her body is cut off from both sides simultaneously, she'll lose her regeneration.
Wiz: She's also incredibly independent and usually relies on her instincts rather than logic, always rushing in to finish her opponents as soon as possible and becomes more vulnerable to damage if her opponent manages to cut Senketsu's Banshi threads. And since her heart contains all of her life fibers, if it's destroyed, she dies.
Boomstick: You know like, everyone else does.
Wiz: But even then, Ryuko has overcome Satsuki, avenged her father by killing Nui Harime, beaten the Elite Four of Honnoji Academy, stopped Ragyo's plans to take over the world, and defeated a giant robot. Because once her mind is set, nothing can stand in her way.
Ryuko: If you don't try to win with everything you have, it's come back to bite you.
Intermission[]
Wiz: All right the combatants are set and we've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Prelude[]
The Boiling Iles was an interesting place to be in, with demons, witches, and other creatures living there though farther up, was a castle that had many guards with white robes and grey bird mask. Two of them were standing in front of the entrance to guard against intruders. However, out of all of them, they didn't suspect a young girl in a black and red school uniform to come by.
"Hey kid! State your name and business!" One of the guards ordered.
"Listen buddy, I need to talk to the queen for something. So if you don't mind-" The guards just put their spears near her neck and pushed her back. "The queen's resting right now! Come back in the morning!"
"I said move it!" The girl then knocked both of them down into the pit where the spikes pierced their bodies, blood and guts spilling out as the girl entered the castle. Oscura is resting in her room with her girlfriend/empress, Patricia as the night sky shunned brightly. Oscura and Luz had been able to take out her cybernetic mother and save Eda before she could join the Emperor with her taking over. Bonesborough was getting put back in it's place after it was torn off from the tornado. She was dreaming happily with her girlfriend Patricia when Darknile started interrupting Oscura's dream. "Oscura! Wake up!" He shouted, startling the young hybrid. Bags were still under her eyes as she rubbed them open.
"What the bloody hell is it dad?" She asked listlessly. "It's midnight for titans sake."
"Sorry kid, but there's another intruder here. They took out all the guards and looks like they're coming for you." Oscura got out of bed and looked through a crystal ball near her. She could see a light skinned girl in a black sailor uniform with a bright red crimson blade in one of their hands. Oscura understood what she had to do as she took the Scythe of Thangarr and stealthily went to the intruder so that she could get this over with and get back to bed. The girl had continued walking as her sailor uniform started talking to her.
"Do you think she's here Senketsu?" Groaned the girl as she wandered through the forest. She heard a masculine voice from the sailor outfit in response. "I don't know Ryuko. All I remember was seeing a pair of blues eyes in the trees when we got here. But we can worry about that later. Maybe someone here can help us. Although beating their guards and killing them might not leave a good first impression."
"Hey, those assholes came for me first! It was in self defense." The girl, known as Ryuko Matoi, then felt the sudden presence of someone, but when she looked back, no one was there.
"Probably just nothing." She thought, putting her attention back on the door. Ryuko was then suddenly taken from the door and thrown out of the castle and into a tree. Oscura flew over to her with her scythe in her hand as Ryuko got back up, looking more pissed off than hurt.
"What the hell was that for?" The shadow dragon flew above her opponent angered at the sudden intrusion as the rest of the guards ran
"How dare you break into my house unannounced?" Oscura yelled as she looked at the girl below her, her eyes piercing the Ryuko's own. "When I'm done with you, you'll have a lot to answer!"
(Cue Chaos Unraveled)
Oscura could tell that this was another human and she definitely looked like some sort of delinquent. She didn't want to be bothered with them so she readied her scythe and flew down at incredible speeds. "Incoming Ryuko!" Senketsu alerted Ryuko. She reached into one of her pockets and pulled out her Scissor Blade, that soon enlarged as she braced herself. Oscura was going to get answers one way or another.
FIGHT![]
Oscura delivered an overhead swing, only for it to be blocked by Ryuko's scissor blade. Ryuko quickly then went on the offensive, able to cross her Scissor Blade with the Scythe of Thangarr with a bit of difficulty. Oscura grabbed her legs with her tail and flung her into the air and went after her. She used her scythe to send many slashes all over her body, leaving some blood too splatter only for them to rapidly heal as Ryuko tried to kick Oscura only for her to appear right behind her and punched her head so hard, she crashed down into the ground and a blast of dirt and rocks came down, leaving a large crater, but no sign of the intruder.
"Where is she?" Oscura turned around to see the Scissor Blade come from behind her as she quickly dodged it with Ryuko suddenly kicking her in the head as Senketsu pulled the Scissor Blade back, nearly cutting off a lock of Oscura's hair. The two clashed weapons again as Oscura grabbed Ryuko by the throat and launched her into the air and flew after them as she attached a Construction Glyph to her fist, as she punched right through Ryuko's gut. She just smirked as she stabbed Oscura in the stomach as she retaliated with a head but as she got her fist out and slammed her with her tail.
That's when Oscura's palisman, Draco, blasted a stream of fire at her as she was completely scorched. Oscura rushed over and capitalized with a series of multiple punches that caused the ground to crack and punched her through the trees as she flew to continue the fight. Draco got back on the scythe as Oscura patted him.
"Good boy." Ryuko got up with several bruises all over her body as Oscura grabbed used her claws and started slashing at her with her claws, blocking them with her Scissor Blade. Ryuko then slashed her wing off as she shouted in pain. "You little retch!" Oscura made a spell rune and quickly blasted her away as Ryuko got her head in the game and stopped herself from going any further by plunging her blade into the ground. Giant tree roots then came from Oscura as they rammed into Ryuko, who cut them to pieces.
"She seems pretty tough." Senketsu noted as Ryuko just smirked.
"Oh please, compared to Mako, this fight should be a breeze!" Oscura sent some airwaves from her scythe as Ryuko either dodged or blocked them and quickly got in close to try and end the fight quickly. The two clashed weapons as they continued to struggle between each other. Ryuko was then able to get the scythe away from her and get an opening. "Time to end this!" Ryuko sent a barrage of slashes all over her body only for them to be either blocked or dodged as she kicked Oscura's blade away from her and got decked in the face with a kick that sent her flying as she flew after her.
"Yeah for you." Oscura continued her assault and finished with a powerful blast of fire at her opponent, almost twice her height as it sent Ryuko crashing down, leaving a large crater as smoke came out of the ground. Once it cleared up, she had healed up a bit though the burn marks surrounding her body were taking a bit longer to heal than usual with Senketsu wincing a bit in pain. Oscura then appeared behind Ryuko and wrapped her tail around her neck, attempting to suffocate her but Ryuko quickly slashed her eye with another scissor blade, causing her to real back in pain and hold it, giving Ryuko the chance to escape. "You filthy prick!"
Ryuko tried to grab the other Scissor Blade but Oscura took it with her chain hooks and launched to a cliffside. She was then stabbed in the chest by Oscura's hooks, who then flew high into the sky, dragging her along. Oscura pulled the chain up to her face as she summoned a stone gauntlet around her fist and punched Ryuko in the jaw and sent her rocketing to the cliffside as rock started to fall. Ryuko got up, her jaw dangling for dear life as it quickly healed up. She looked at her opponent and saw that she had a smug look on her face as she growled angrily.
"Don't give me that look dipshit! I need to get out of here and I'm not leaving until you listen!"
"Geez you're obnoxious." Oscura replied, which only pissed off the Japanese Kamui even more. "Look, I don't have time for someone like you invading my home and killing off most of my guards. When I'm done beating you senseless and figure out how you came here, I'll be sure to burry you're corpse when I'm done." Ryuko started to grow even angrier as her blood started to boil. She got her Scissor Blade and was ready to continue the battle. "Humph. That old toy won't help you this time."
"Looks like we're going to need a bit more power if want to take her out." Advised Senketsu. Ryuko nodded and put her fingers closed around a small pin on her glove and without hesitation pulled it. A sharp pain zipped through her wrist as the needle's edge of the pin pricked her skin, drawing blood.
"What the hell?" Oscura asked herself confused as she saw the teenager naked in front of her. In a flash, Senketsu's eye pulsated and the uniform shone brightly, twisting around Ryuko and reforming into something completely different. Now, Senketsu had taken on a completely different look, gaining a more menacing appearance. However the outfit had a more, 'adult' appearance than expected as Ryuko flicked her Scissor Blade out, pointing the very tip at her opponent, who's face glowed bright red.
"Life Fiber Synchronize! Kamui Senketsu!"
With those words said, Ryuko charged at Oscura, a streak of red, black, and tan to human eyes, but Oscura was far from human. She blocked the incoming attack but didn't notice the stab she had received as Ryuko lifted the Scissor Blades and cut her in half. Or a double at least as they disappeared into black dust.
"What? Where did-?" Oscura flew right into her while stabbing her with her scythe. She was sent rocketing through the trees and rocks with a powerful drop kick while grunting on impact as Oscura pulled her scythe from her and went on the pursuit. When she got to the cliff side, she noticed that she wasn't there as she tried to sniff her location out. She heard her opponent coming from behind and struck only to receive a powerful kick to the stomach with ripples of pain flowing through her body.
Ryuko smashed her head into the cliffside multiple times as she sent a barrage of slashes to her chest as Oscura teleported behind her and created a purple circle and yelled "Abomination. Rise!" A humongous Abomination golem 28 stories high came out of the ground. Ryuko made action as she sliced it's arms off and went straight through the head but it was able to regenerate quickly and punch Ryuko straight into the ground as Oscura put some Healing Patches on her wound. She then made spell circles that blasted fire into the ground, hot enough to turn it into lava but when it reached Ryuko, spikes burst out of the Abominations hand as Ryuko came out in a different form.
"Senketsu Senjin!" Oscura sent a Fire Pulse straight at her but she quickly rushed in and blocked it with her Scissor Blades. She moved out of the way and threw her blade at Oscura at incredibly fast speeds.
"Dodge it!" Oscura nodded and quickly flew high as Ryuko saw her and grabbed her blade and tried to follow but something was keeping her from attacking. Senketsu was coughing up some abomination goop that somehow got into her bloodstream, giving Oscura the chance to send multiple slashes on her body, blood spilling out and evaporating into the lava. Ryuko was getting angrier as her blood started to boil, causing the Abomination in her to come out as Oscura's fist was set ablaze with dark magic as she was slashing at rapid speeds and cracked Ryuko's bones and nearly punched her jaw off as 12 sticks of dynamite were put in her mouth and blew up right in her face.
"With that ability to heal instantaneously, it makes me think that you're not human." Ryuko responded with her Wolverine like claws coming out of her hands and slashing at her one of her eyes, causing her to scream in pain, and gave Ryuko enough time to get the Scissor Blade and fly after her. They caused powerful collisions that sent shockwaves through the air as both of their weapons clashed.
Oscura then used her telekinesis to throw Ryuko around like a ragdoll around the forest as she was bashed into trees, rocks, the cliffside, and the ground. Ryuko then started spinning like a whirlwind making a tornado with Oscura was able to block the attack as she slammed her scythe to create her own tornado as it grew to the size of The Knee. The residents of the near by town of Bonesborough saw the tornado as they looked on in fear of what was happening. Ryuko stuck her self in with some cords and violently sent sparkling slashes in every direction of where Oscura might be. Oscura then came and attempted to slash at her multiple times, but Ryuko was able to block her attacks and attack back.
Ryuko was then flung by Oscura's telekinesis and landed on top of The Knee as the tornado dissipated. As the shadow dragon searched for the Kamui, a bright flash of sparkling red appeared and Senketsu had transformed into one of his forms being Senketsu Shippu. Ryuko rocketed forward straight for Oscura and quickly got behind her to slash her back and swing her tail to launch her into the snow as Ryuko yelled "So long gay dragon!"
Ryuko sped after her as Oscura barely managed to dodge the attacks as the snowy area was slowing her down, making Ryuko able to catch up to her. She tried her telekinesis again, but Ryuko had cut off her right horn as she roared in pain. She followed up with some slashes from her blade as she kept becoming more aggressive and have it double in length as Ryuko charged forward.
"Double Decapitation Mode!" Ryuko swung both blades at full force, which caused rocks, trees, and a yeti like creature to be completely cut to pieces. But Oscura was still fine as the attack had seem tp phase through her body. She grabbed her with her tail again and yeetted her into the Boiling Sea, her skin dissolving with some of her bones showing as Oscura lifted her up and threw her through a cliff. Draconic energy started to flow around Oscura as she used Dragon Bite on her arm, dismembering it and throwing it into the sea below as it dissolved into nothing, Ryuko quickly grew a new one in seconds but Oscura kept sending blast of dark and fire magic at her, sending her through the forest until she stopped by a cave. Oscura landed down with a insane smile on her face as she looked at her enemy.
"You know, I never wanted this fight to last this long." A dark red crimson aura started to surround Oscura as her eyes went from blue to completely red as her scythe became more powerful and sharper as Insanity was taking over her. "But now you're starting to piss me off!" Ryuko looked down and nodded to Senketsu as she spun her Scissor Blades around.
"Hey, you're not the only one asshole." The two charged at each other with Oscura's scythe sending a decent amount of damage on Ryuko but not compared to when she swung her arms forward, and the Scissor Blade, now one with her forearm, stabbed straight through her chest. Oscura teleported behind her and put on 50 Construction Patches on her fist to even the score as she set it ablaze with more dark magic and uppercut Ryuko into the air as Oscura flew at her hundreds of thousands of times the speed of sound.
Time to send you to the deepest pits of hell!" Ryuko couldn't even react to block or dodge her attacks as she was being sliced apart at every conceivable angle, causing possible gallons of blood to pour down as it evaporated on the lava. Oscura then finished her off with swift punch to the gut as tons of debris flew high into the air as all that was there was a massive crater with Ryuko as a portal opened underneath her, which lead to a world of complete darkness. Ryuko had landed on the supposed floor of the dimension as near gallons of blood gushed out as she got up, barely holding on to her form as the portal started to close. With the last bit of her power, she jumped out of before the portal closes and head straight to Oscura as her Scissor Blade grew twice in length once again.
Great power coursed through Ryuko as she felt the Life Fibers within empower her. She raised her blades above her head, and then she was a blur. "Behind you!" Oscura heard her father and saw Ryuko as she teared through the air. Ryuko looked to see her blade going right through Oscura, but there wasn't any blood whatsoever. She was then suddenly punched by a stone gauntlet and was sent rocketing into one of the titans ribs, causing it to fall off and splash into the Boiling Sea.
As Ryuko flew over the Boiling Seas her entire body sore and tingly, unable to continue as her scars couldn't heal for some reason. Her fibers weren't cut so how could this be? It didn't matter now. She wasn't going to die like this. Everyone she knew needed her. Satsuki, Aikuro, Mako. All the time she spent with them, saving Earth, and stopping Ragyo's assistant. She won't lose now and had one last trick up her sleeve to end this fight once and for all. "Senketsu: Kisaragi!" Holes in reality seemed to be drawn in as Life Fibers came out of each one, giving Senketsu enough power to transform into his final form. hopefully there would be enough blood to hold on. Senketsu's second eye grew to match his other while his color scheme changes to reddish-orange and yellow, the headpiece becomes more elaborate, and yellow energy bands form a skirt that looks like jaws around Ryūko's waist and her hair becomes blond.
Oscura saw this and looked shock. Her power was even greater than it was before and it seemed that she was even angrier than before. Ryuko sent more powerful slashes as she summoned a force field to block only for it to break immediately afterwards. Oscura needed to wear her out enough so she flew at hypersonic speeds towards her. Ryuko did the same as they had multiple collisions against each other. The ground beneath them was cracking and buildings had their windows shattered. The two eventually made their way the shattered skull of the titan as the two stared each other down. Ryuko combined both of her Scissor Blades together as she smirked. "Scissor Blade: Alumni Mode!" Flashes lit up the night sky as the scissors were revealed to be nearly as big as the skull.
Ryuko was ready to end it here and there. Oscura was right where she wanted her, there wasn't anywhere she could run, and nothing could stop her now. "Sayonara." She then pulled them together to close them both as she would win this battle once and for all. But instead of hearing a gut spelching sound, they just stopped as Oscura grabbed them with her bare hands as a dark energy surround her. Darknile surrounded her body as a powerful armor and were thrown into Boiling Sea and dissolved. She flew by Ryuko so fast, she didn't notice her arms got cut off as she screamed in pain.
Oscura continued her assault as with many slashes and kicks as they went back to the Boiling Iles with Ryuko's power slowly fading away with every passing moment. She couldn't keep her form up for long as she transformed back to her base as and Oscura flew her through the ground as she got her scythe out and stabbed her through the heart and ripped through her shoulder as Ryuko fell to the ground. She took it off her scythe and looked at her opponent as her eyes were empty and lifeless as she crushed her heart, life fibers scattering away.
Oscura also went back into her base form, her blood dripping out of some parts of her body with some of her clothes torn, and all the power her forms exerted nearly caused her to feint. Darknile looked at her and lifted her a bit as she saw the Scissor Blade next to her and took it with her and flew back to the castle. Out of her body, Ryuko's spirit rose from the ground as she looked at herself in her phantom like form as a man in a mask with long horns, a crack on the side, and a white cape.
"It seems as though you'll need some help getting your body back." He said making Ryuko glare at him. "Who the hell are you?" She asked. The masked man just came to her with a white staff with mechanical like properties as a red orb was shown at the top.
"Oh don't worry about that now. I know someone that can help. But it might cost you." Ryuko looked at herself and back at the man. Did she really have a choice in this? She sighed and nodded as the man took her somewhere in the forest that wasn't burning with other witches trying to put the fire out. "We must hurry however. The day of Unity is almost upon my land."

Boomstick: Now that was one toasty and bloody battle!
Wiz: Now, this was an interesting match. Ryuko's regeneration would make it incredibly difficult for Oscura to land a fatal blow on her and was actually far more powerful than her. Thanks to the fact the Boiling Iles is an archipelago, we can compare it to others such as the Betinick Island for instance. With that in mind, we can see how far the clouds spread out, their thickness in weight and what their density, the energy required would be equal 185.5 petatons of tnt. Impressive, but Ryuko could still output over 167.1 times that power. If she could get into that form.
Boomstick: Ryuko not having magic in her made the Scythe of Thangarr's first ability useless. The second one however, would shift this fight the other way. It's ability to stop regeneration would help take care of the healing factor she had and make things easier. Since Banshi Threads run on a person's blood to keep going, it only makes sense that if something toxic were to enter the blood system, it would effect Kamui's like Senketsu. Not only that, she also had more hand to hand combat skills and experience with all of her martial arts training, so she had the advantage up close.
Wiz: As well as from a distance. Her larger arsenal and abilities meant she had more attack options better suited for long range combat compared to Ryuko who usually needs to get up close and personal to do damage. Her magic and telekinesis could make a large distance gap to minimalize the damage and study Ryuko as the battle went on.
Boomstick: They both had incredible skills in battle but only one of them really relied on getting close to do some damage. And once in Locura Encarnada, Oscura was a lot faster than Ryuko and could react fast enough to dodge and counter whatever she threw at her, especially since she can react to laser beams.
Wiz: While Locura Encarnada doesn't have an exact speed number, we can use the multiplier to help. The Insanity form multiplier gives her speed of Mach 247. Still under two times slower than Ryuko. and using the Locura Encarnada one gives us a speed of nearly 91 times the speed of light and comparing her this version of Belos, who fought a monster that can move 6.6 billion km in 3.5 seconds, this would put her reactions up to 5,503.8 times the speed of light. Far faster than anything Ryuko has shown and more than quick enough to cut through her life fiber before it has time to heal.
Boomstick: Even with all that power, Oscura's training meant she would be more of skilled fighter than Ryuko, especially when finding weaknesses in the body. Plus, her magic allowed her intangibility which is something Ryuko never had to deal with before. Her abomination could also affect her bloodstream and either stop her heart or cancel out her bloodstream. And given how she could react so fast, it's unlikely she would get a hit in on her.
Wiz: Ryuko's power, transformations, and skills made this an interesting fight to see, but Oscura's experience, physical strength, and magical prowess was too much for the life fiber hybrid to handle.
Boomstick: Looks like Ryuko's fate was hooked, lined, and synchronized.
Wiz: Ugh. The winner is Oscura Alma.
