WARNING: THIS BATTLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SLICK’S GODZILLA BATTLE ROYALE PART 2. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Oscar vs Godzilla Ultima is an off-season episode by GodzillaFan8889, featuring the royale-hosting golden alien of ArtSpear Entertainment, Oscar, fighting against the orchestrator of a war between Godzilla versions, SlicK’s version of Godzilla Ultima, to see which fight-obsessed reality-warping tyrant will reign supreme.
Description[]
ArtSpear Entertainment’s TOON SANDWICH vs SlicK’s GODZILLA BATTLE ROYALE! These two sadistic reality warping-beings have no qualms with pitting fiction’s greatest icons against each other in duels to the death, but when they themselves are forced into the same situation, will Oscar prove to be the Ultimate Warrior, or will Godzilla Ultima reign as the true King?
Intro[]
(Cue Wiz and Boomstick - Brandon Yates)
Wiz: Oscar, the golden alien obsessed with forcing live-action media’s most well-known icons to fight to the death for his amusement.
Boomstick: Godzilla Ultima, the reality-bending god responsible for orchestrating a massive royale between Godzilla’s many variants!
Boomstick: Much like what we’re doing right now, it seems some beings across fiction really want to know what would happen if some unlucky shmucks across the multiverse had to fight to the death!
Wiz: But when things don’t go their way, these two egotistical gods have no problem stepping into the ring themselves to put any and all opposition down.
Boomstick: Wiz, that’s not gonna happen to us eventually, is it?
Wiz: I wouldn’t worry about it, personally.
Boomstick: O-okay… he’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick!
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win, a DEATH BATTLE!
Oscar Arises for DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue Movie Soundtrack Compilation OR Super-stition-Bowl - ArtSpear Entertainment)
Wiz: Ah, live-action media. Ever since movies and TV shows spread across the world in popularity, live-action media has become an iconic staple of mankind. Movie franchises such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the MCU have influenced the collective masses just as much as TV series such as Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Doctor Who have.
Boomstick: We humans have consumed it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly, on the silver screen or on smaller screens in our homes. It’s hard to imagine a life without such influential icons entertaining us, inspiring us, and making us feel emotional. But now it’s time to ask the question no one has ever thought about: What if aliens found out about all this?
Wiz: One potential answer lies within a distant desert planet inhabited by golden humanoids. A particularly influential and powerful extraterrestrial in their ranks somehow found out about Earth’s various fictional media, and quickly became fascinated. Eventually, he decided that in order to entertain his people, he would recreate every single one of the starring characters from said media in meticulous detail… and make them fight to the death in a massive gladiator arena until only one remained standing.
Boomstick: Just like we do! Granted, massive battle royales between hundreds of characters can be pretty messy, but I do commend the guy for actually doing his research. In order to properly connect himself to his new hobby though, the alien decided to model himself after the most highly sought-after awards we Earthlings give to live-action media!
Wiz: The Academy Awards, or their more popular name, which is also what the alien named himself: the Oscars.
- Name: Oscar
- Age: At least 80 years old, if not even more
- Species: Golden extraterrestrial
- Runs multiple coliseums where he makes fictional characters fight to the death
- Is totally not a metaphor for the film industry
- He’s got cake (I’m sorry)
Wiz: For entire decades, Oscar has orchestrated battle royales between the most iconic live-action characters on Earth. While at first, it didn’t see much success due to there being very few truly popular characters at the time-
Boomstick: With one of his first ever fights being a bunch of regular humans against a giant gorilla!
Wiz: -as we humans continued to innovate and create more media across the years, Oscar’s catalogue of warriors grew and grew until eventually, he had hundreds of fiction’s greatest stars to pit against each other by the late 2010s. He ran over 5000 of these showdowns, with much the same routine each time: first, every character would be awoken from an induced slumber and sent into the arena.
Boomstick: Then of course, they would be told to kill each other, and any dissenters get zapped into skeletons! After starting the fight, he would wait until one was left standing, and declare them the winner. Of course, eventually there were a little too many for just one royale, so he would split them into heroes and villains, make the winners from either fight each other, then rinse and repeat.
Wiz: This routine went on interrupted for, as we just mentioned, thousands of these fights, giving Oscar an endless supply of entertainment for himself and his subjects, plus some good pocket money. However, that would all change during one particular Super-Villain-Bowl.
Boomstick: To make a long story short, the Dark Phoenix was reverted back into Jean Gray by Thanos, buuuuut then she stole the gauntlet and killed him. Then she got bonked over the head by Harley Quinn, who was declared the winner and sent up to have a conversation with Oscar and Deadpool, the winner of the Super-Hero-Bowl. Got all that? Good.
Wiz: Oscar would reveal to them the truth behind their existence, that they were all just recreations of the real- or should I say fictional- deals, made to tear each other apart for nothing but entertainment, over and over and over. However, he didn’t count on one thing: Jean Gray was only unconscious, and Thanos’ actions had introduced a hero into the villain royale. Using her telepathy, she also listened in on Oscar, and, before she got regenerated, awakened all the heroes by giving them the command word: Arise.
Boomstick: And so, after some deliberation, every single hero and villain was brought together right under Oscar’s golden nose in order to fight against him for their freedom! With all-stars like Superman, Thanos, Doctor Manhattan, Godzilla, Sauron and so many more all working together, there’s no way they’d lose, right? …Right?
Wiz: Oh, if only it were that easy. But of course, since Oscar created all of them, it was only natural that he’d, you know, give himself every single one of their powers and weapons in case something like this happened. A solid contingency plan, I might add.
(The screen cuts to an animation of Wiz and Boomstick)
Boomstick: Wiz, you’re keeping all the weapons we analyze somewhere safe, right?
Wiz: Boomstick, I already told you, we aren’t gonna be fighting our own combatants any time soon, there’s no need to be so worried.
(Suddenly, the screen in the background of the television studio turns on, revealing a close up of a familiar triangular dream demon with one eye. Additionally, a grinning man in a green mask leans down from the side.)
Bill Cipher: OH, WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU TWO, NO CONTINGENCY PLAN IS GONNA SAVE YOU FROM ME!
The Mask: Ah, don’t worry about that ol’ chap, chums, he’s just a little angry. As for me, I’ve got bigger fish to fry, see?
(To complicate even more matters, a familiar Merc with a Mouth pops up from the bottom of the screen.)
Deadpool: Hey guys, what’s all the commotion?
Wiz: O-oh, nothing, we’re just discussing Oscar from-
Deadpool: Wait, Oscar?! Ugh, I hate that guy!
The Mask: Me too!
Deadpool: Heard about him from a variant of mine. He really reminds me of you two, you know.
Boomstick: Y-you’re not planning on killing us, are you?
Deadpool: What?! Noooo, of course not! Well, unless both of you grow as big of an ego as this guy, then I might just have to-
Boomstick: Wade, stop, you’re not helping!
Bill Cipher & The Mask: GOOD!
(Animation segment ends)
Wiz: Ugh, anyways, thanks to just how many movies exist on Earth, Oscar has himself a frankly ridiculous plethora of abilities and weapons at his disposal from the warriors he’s created.
Popup: We are considering both abilities and weapons he’s used onscreen in Super-Showdown-Bowl, and ones he hasn’t used but should still have from the roster.
Abilities:
- Superhuman strength
- Nigh-invulnerability
- Extreme speed
- Reality warping
- Space manipulation
- Time manipulation
- Element manipulation
- Extraordinary senses
- Limited shapeshifting
- Laser beam conjuration
- Telekinesis
- Energy manipulation
- Mind reading
- Emotion manipulation
- Size manipulation
- Biological manipulation
- Assimilation
- A whole lot of other stuff
Arsenal:
- Lightsaber
- Captain America’s shield
- Claws (of many different kinds)
- Guns
- Missile launchers
- Plasma Caster
- Robotic arms
- Infinity Gauntlet (+ Infinity Stones)
- Pym Discs
- Green Lantern ring
- Mjolnir
- Sonic Screwdriver
- Transformer form
- Rapier
- Katana
- Laser guns
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- A whole lot of other stuff
Wiz: To start, Oscar has an extremely durable body. It cannot be scratched by swords, bullets, vibranium, adamantium, energy beams, heat vision; even Superman only broke his hand trying to dent Oscar’s hide. Not even eating the Infinity Stones themselves harmed him in any fashion. That would already make him quite a threat, but with his copied abilities, he just becomes ridiculous.
Boomstick: Hoo boy… he has reality warping, time manipulation, heat vision, fire breath, sand manipulation, freezing magic, telekinesis, size manipulation, portal creation, super speed, energy manipulation of all kinds, extra-sensory perception, the ability to shift his body and grow extra limbs, and MORE!
Wiz: Oscar can turn his hands into deadly blades to stab others, grow spikes from his body, summon robotic tentacles and extra arms at a whim, and somehow turn his leg into a Lightsaber compartment. To summarize all this, if you can think of any ability a live-action character has, Oscar most definitely has it as well.
Boomstick: Hell, he’s even better at using these abilities than their original users! From blasting a hole through Flash and both cinematic Quicksilvers before they could react, to becoming a Transformer to tear apart Optimus Prime, and summoning his own copies of other characters’ weapons to kill them, Oscar is a big fan of ironic kills.
Wiz: And that leads us into the next segment: his weapons. Oscar can summon his own versions of the weapons his warriors wield, most of which are branded after him instead. He can call to hand Lightsabers, claws, guns, missile launchers, Mjolnir, size-shifting Pym Discs, a massive rapier or katana, Batarangs, Plasma Casters, chainsaws, the Infinity Gauntlet itself, and so many more fictional weapons, each with their original capabilities. With these, he can tear through foes in basically any way he wants, whether it’s through stabbing them, disintegrating them, shrinking them down, or just wiping them from existence.
Boomstick: Holy hell, this guy is quite literally a one-man army! However, while this insane arsenal did allow him to cut down many, and I mean many of the characters that opposed him, those pesky little heroes and villains just wouldn’t stop fighting. Hell, they still managed to restrain the guy. So what now, then?
Wiz: Well, for rare situations such as that, Oscar has his handy Golden Globe and Orblets to use against dissenters.
Golden Globe
- Oscar’s usual place of residence
- Has a very uncanny resemblance to the Death Star
- Oscar can communicate through it
- Can fire beams that can reduce any target to a mere skeleton
- Has a tractor beam
- Has a very obvious glowing weak point
Orblets
- Miniature versions of the Globe
- Follow Oscar’s commands through facial and vocal recognition features
- Can also disintegrate warriors into skeletons, or regenerate them to full health
- Are fragile to the point where even normal bullets can shatter them
Wiz: Oscar’s residence is the massive Golden Globe, where he usually stays unless he is forced out. Its main blue “eye” can fire laser beams at anyone Oscar targets, reducing them into nothing more than skeletons. However, said eye is also its weak point, and shooting it will cause it to malfunction. It also has a tractor beam for sending anyone inside it.
Boomstick: Oscar can also summon mini versions of the Globe, which are known as Orblets. These small little guys can also blast you into a skeleton, and additionally regenerate anyone back to full health, no matter their condition. Did you bleed out? Get crushed? Literally get reduced into dust? No problem, the Orblet can just bring ya back lickety-split!
Wiz: However, the one drawback to these Orblets is that they are extremely fragile. Even regular bullets can shatter them, so if one were to avoid their deadly laser beams, they can be easily taken care of. With how many Oscar has at his disposal though, it’s not gonna be an easy task overall.
Boomstick: With hundreds of warriors’ abilities and weapons at his disposal, it’s really no surprise that Oscar managed to achieve quite a few impressive feats during his battle against cinema and TV’s most iconic stars.
Feats:
- Crushed the Infinity Gauntlet and remained unscathed from eating the Infinity Stones
- Tanked a punch from DCEU Superman, MV Godzilla’s Atomic Breath, a blast from the MCU Infinity Gauntlet, six different blasts at once, and many more powerful attacks without a scratch
- Speedblitzed DCEU Flash, Fox Quicksilver and MCU Quicksilver.
- Killed over 83 characters (and likely many more) in his fight against the heroes and villains
- Defeated Doctor Manhattan by giving him self-loathing
- Maintained the tradition of Super-Showdown-Bowls for over 80 years and held over 5,600 of them in the process
Popup: It is important to note that for all characters we will be scaling Oscar to, we will only give them feats they had as of December 24, 2019. Oscar canonically models his recreations of live-action characters after movies released on Earth, and as Super-Bowl-Showdown takes place on that specific date, they would only have feats from media released up until then.
Wiz: Oscar was able to straight-up eat all six MCU Infinity Stones without suffering anything. The Power Stone is powerful enough to destroy a planet’s surface and break apart a moon when wielded, and disintegrate people even if merely touched. Thanos also stated that he would shred the universe down to its last atom with the Infinity Gauntlet, and was able to wipe out half of all life across the known universe. Remember, Oscar should likely be capable of replicating all this with his own Infinity Gauntlet.
Boomstick: DCEU Superman, who could shift a tectonic plate, was also powerless against the dude and, again, literally broke his hand trying to punch him! Oscar’s also survived the Monsterverse Godzilla’s atomic breath, which can push back the 141,056 ton King Ghidorah, a combined blast from the Infinity Gauntlet, though he needed a replica of Captain America’s shield to do so, and six blasts from Superman, Ultron, Captain Marvel, Storm, a Sentinel, and Cyclops ALL AT ONCE! He didn’t even have a scratch on him!
Wiz: Oscar was also able to speedblitz DCEU Flash, who can move at relativistic speeds, and keep up with Captain Marvel, who can fly through thousands of light years in a day. With his insane capabilities, he was able to kill a known total of 83 characters, with likely many more fatalities off-screen, and even defeated Watchmen’s Doctor Manhattan by giving him self-loathing, causing him to eat away his pain until he became fat… yes, really. Given all this, Oscar seemed unstoppable, with not even the most powerful live-action characters able to take him down. However, not all was as it seemed.
Boomstick: Our heroes and villains soon discovered something crucial: Oscar had received a scratch! Gasp! And after some nifty time travel, they were able to find out what caused the scratch and Oscar’s greatest weakness, which is literally written all over his body: gold!
Weaknesses:
- Gold is the only known material which can harm him
- Swallowing even a small amount of gold will kill him for good
- Seemingly unable to regenerate any wounds received
- Is extremely egotistical and tends to underestimate his opponents
- Still capable of being overwhelmed and restrained in battle
- Not immune to mind reading
Wiz: Anything gold can actually dent Oscar’s body and damage him, however it is important to note that the damage is very surface level. To truly defeat Oscar, the warriors had to make him swallow it. Much like a very deadly food allergy, even swallowing a small amount of gold will cause Oscar’s body to begin cracking until he eventually dies in a massive explosion.
Boomstick: So, they defeated the representation of the film industry by throwing money at it… huh. But much like another golden god-
Bill Cipher: I can still hear you!
Boomstick: -Oscar’s biggest weakness is his unbelievable ego. The guy tends to underestimate his opponents and think of them as pathetic. Sure, considering everything we just listed, it’s pretty justified, buuuuut he also forgot that they can do a little thing called, you know, strategizing.
Wiz: And strategize they did. After a long grueling fight, the warriors were able to restrain Oscar long enough for Neytiri to fire an arrow with the One Ring on it towards him and for Ant-Man to shove said ring down into his gullet. And as he began to die, reality finally hit this self-centered egomaniac: despite his power, he was not the hero of this story. He was the villain who tormented hundreds of lives he himself created, and in the stories of the movies he himself was fascinated with so much, the villains always lose.
Boomstick: Eh, not always, but I get what they’re tryin’ to say. With this, Oscar finally exploded into nothingness, ending his reign of terror once and for all, which even his own people appreciated, apparently. The warriors were then able to use Mystique’s shapeshifting to regenerate all their fallen with Oscar’s last remaining Orblet and finally escape their torment. They would live happily ever after in a realm called Fanfictasia… until stuff happened. But that’s a story for another day.
Wiz: Oscar’s drive to continue entertaining his subjects and extraordinary, godly power made him a living nightmare for the many warriors in his arena. And it seems that even after his death, Oscar’s tyranny will forever haunt his creations.
“Did you really think I would grant you all these extraordinary powers… and not partake myself?”
Godzilla Ultima Transcends DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue ‘Destroyer of Worlds’ | A Godzilla Singular Point Suite - Adejny)
Wiz: Ever since 1954, Godzilla has been one of the most iconic movie monsters in all of history. Over the years, he’s gotten many incarnations from his numerous appearances, each with their own unique abilities and personalities. With all this variety, it’s only natural that one may wonder… which version of Japan’s kaiju icon would win if they were all to fight each other?
Boomstick: Ah, the versus debater curse. Thankfully, in some random universe, a bunch of portals opened, each whisking a version of Godzilla away from their respective home universe and sending them here to do just that: fight to the death. The gang’s all here, from the original 1954 Godzilla, to Showa Godzilla, Heisei Godzilla, Legendary’s Godzilla, and- wait, even Zilla?!
Wiz: Yes, even Zilla. Of course, each incarnation brought their own thing to the table, whether it was raw power, size, potent regeneration, or simple cunning. As twelve different versions of the King of the Monsters tore into each other, deaths began to inevitably make themselves known. In order for a Godzilla to survive the carnage, they would likely need more than a few tricks up their sleeves.
Boomstick: Or just be overpowered as all hell! But one particular standout among all these giant nuclear saurians was the version hailing from 2021’s Godzilla Singular Point anime. An aquatic creature that evolved through multiple forms, before eventually entering his strongest one to wreak havoc upon Tokyo and the army. A towering beast who is so much more than meets the eye.
Wiz: This was Godzilla Ultima.
- Name: Godzilla Ultima
- Height: ~100 meters
- Originally from Godzilla Singular Point
- Evolved from his previous forms, namely Godzilla Aquatilis, Amphibia and Terrestris
- Brought to the Royale right before the scene where he first fires his Atomic Breath
- Has chonky thighs
Popup: As the videos establish that every Godzilla experiences the respective events of their continuities up until they are brought to the Royale, we will be giving each and all of them access to the scaling and abilities of their canon counterparts.
Wiz: Ultima is a variant of Godzilla that hails from another dimension entirely. He is what’s known as a Singular Point, able to produce Archetype from his body. Archetype is a type of particle that essentially exists in multiple dimensions at once, and as such can manipulate things such as space, time and light. It can be found in multiple forms and can be transitioned between forms through certain processes. Godzilla emits this in the form of Red Dust, which is capable of terraforming entire cities and even has explosive properties.
Boomstick: Yeesh, that’s a lot of science talk. But of course, that’s nowhere near all of the abilities Ultima possesses!
Abilities
- Atomic Breath/Molecular Laser
- Extraordinary strength and durability
- Production of Archetype/Red Dust
- Regeneration
- Minor body manipulation
- Size manipulation
- Space-time distortion
- The Catastrophe
- Evolution into True Form
Boomstick: Godzilla, of course, possesses his famous Atomic Breath, otherwise known as his Molecular Laser. This beam is strong enough to melt through several buildings, slice straight through a Manda, and stagger other versions of Godzilla, some of whom weigh over 90,000 tons!
Wiz: Despite his preference for the Molecular Laser however, Ultima is not above physical combat. He can fight using his claws, teeth, and frankly long tail, and is tough enough to survive numerous attacks from other Godzillas without so much as a scratch, including the Monsterverse Godzilla and Godzilla Earth’s Atomic Breath, the former of which can drill down to the Hollow Earth with enough time, and the latter of which can wipe out entire cities.
Boomstick: But if he ever does get a scratch, he’s got the nifty ability of regeneration to patch any wounds up! In a prior form, Godzilla Terrestris, he was able to heal from his back being blown open by a B2 bombing, and as an added bonus, he could even grow giant flesh tentacles from his wounds which were tough enough to somewhat smother bomb explosions! While only Terrestris explicitly showed this ability, it’s not far-fetched to assume Ultima could pull off the same thing.
Wiz: Godzilla Ultima’s control over his own body goes even further than that; he can rapidly grow in size by covering himself in a cloud of Red Dust. Utilizing this, he was able to grow from 50 meters to a towering 100 meters, essentially doubling his height. But perhaps Ultima’s most dangerous component is his very existence. His mere presence twists space-time to a mathematical level, as proven by the equation of 6 = 9.
Boomstick: Heh, 69-
Wiz: No.
Boomstick: Aww…
Wiz: To continue, Ultima’s dimensional presence is so detrimental to this very reality that eventually, he will be capable of causing an event known as the Catastrophe. This will essentially result in multiple universes collapsing on top of each other due to his nature as a Singular Point. In comparison to Ultima’s true power, the limits of time, space, and physics are nigh-irrelevant.
Boomstick: And if he ever needs a boost in battle, he can cocoon himself in a durable shell to evolve into what is considered his True Form, an all-seeing living deity with a penchant for controlling all of reality to his whim!
True Form
- So large that it dwarfs the 100 meter Heisei Godzilla
- Has an even longer tail
- A dimensional god that is described as all-seeing by SlicK
- Laughs a lot
Abilities
- Nigh-invulnerability to attacks
- Space and time manipulation
- Gravity manipulation
- Matter creation
- Telekinesis
- Enhanced Atomic Breath
- “Atomic Slashes”
- “Atomic Punch”
- Atomic Pulse
- Levitation
- Instant regeneration
- Portal creation
- Energy absorption
- Element manipulation
- Power enhancement
- Reflective forcefield
- Teleportation
- Black hole creation
- Banishment to plane of non-existence
- Universal Destruction Blast
Wiz: In this form, “formidable” doesn’t even begin to describe Ultima’s power. Burning Godzilla, who proved himself to be the strongest among the initial eleven in the royale, was nigh-powerless against the true might of Ultima. He can manipulate gravity, time and space to his whim, and possesses telekinesis so potent it can pull mountains and entire chunks from the Moon.
Boomstick: Oh yeah, his Atomic Breath in this form is so powerful and fast that it was able to reach the Moon in a matter of seconds and completely blow it up to kingdom come! And remember, Burning Godzilla, who he fought, was able to outright dodge that shit too! He can get you from far away with energy slashes, hit you with an enhanced punch, stop time like a British vampire with a thing for knives and road rollers, and even create portals to other dimensions- hey, wait a minute!
Wiz: If that rings any bells, it should. In the midst of their frankly one-sided fight, Ultima revealed himself to Burning as the true mastermind behind the entire royale, having opened the portals in the respective worlds of the other Godzillas and entered the fight himself as an avatar. And the reason for all of this carnage, chaos and bloodshed? Nothing more than his own amusement. It’s even implied that he was the one who gave Heisei, MV and Final Wars access to their most powerful forms by spontaneously powering them up, just to make the fight more interesting.
Boomstick: Ultima then proceeded to bring in even more versions of the Big G, including heavy hitters such as Gemstone Godzilla and Marvel Godzilla, the latter of whom fought the friggin’ 616 Avengers and was basically unharmed by their attacks! Despite all that though, this higher-dimensional god still remained untouched.
Wiz: Attacks such as Burning Godzilla’s Burning Heat Ray and Rage Across Time Godzilla’s Atomic Breath were only able to push him back slightly. The former should be stronger than the Red Spiral Ray, which was able to destroy powerhouses such as Heisei Mechagodzilla and Spacegodzilla in only a few blasts, and the latter was able to blow up a gigantic meteor. Destructive attacks such as Gemstone Burning’s atomic breath, which blew up a city, similarly had no luck in actually damaging him.
Boomstick: That isn’t even the end of it! He can send kaiju flying with an Atomic Pulse, levitate in the air or space, teleport himself and his foes to other places, and absorb energy from the friggin’ Sun itself and fire it at foes or use it for a mean punch! He even has this cool technique where he manipulates water from the Earth and energy from stars, mixes them together, then fires it out in a combined attack that disintegrates targets- wait, that’s literally just Gojo’s Hollow Purple!
Wiz: Believe it or not, his list of abilities doesn’t even end there. He can create miniature black holes or actual black holes strong enough to suck in multiple stars at once, reflect foes’ attacks back at them with a forcefield, and on the off-chance he is actually damaged, heal himself in an instant. But perhaps one of his most fearsome techniques is his ability to banish foes. In case an enemy becomes too powerful, he can simply send them away to a plane of non-existence where they’ll be trapped for all eternity unless they have enough power to break out. This is what happened to Godzilla in Hell, an uninvited guest to the Royale.
Boomstick: But when he loses all patience, he can simply gather enough energy to destroy the entire universe itself! Just the preparation of this attack was enough to shake multiple galaxies and envelop all of space itself in red! While we don’t get to see the effects, it’s most likely real devastating, to put it mildly.
Wiz: With so many fearsome abilities under his non-existent belt, it’s easy to see why Ultima is such a force to be reckoned with.
Feats:
- Would have eventually caused the Catastrophe
- Survived Godzilla in Hell’s Divine-powered Atomic Breath, which destroyed the God Mountain
- Was able to have a beam clash with Hellbat Godzilla, who completely wiped out the eldritch Gate Guardian monster
- Fought on par with and destroyed Marvel Godzilla, who was able to fight the 616 Avengers and match Thor in strength
- Fought Burning Godzilla, who could break out of a miniature black hole and survive most of Ultima’s attacks
- Trapped Godzilla in Hell inside a plane of non-existence
- Blew up the Earth with a solar-powered ball
Wiz: Aside from his feat of eventually causing the multiverse-rending catastrophe, Ultima was able to fight extremely powerful variations of Godzilla. In particular, Marvel Godzilla fought the 616 Avengers and even managed to beat them without much injury to himself, and Ultima was not only unphased by his attacks, but he also managed to disintegrate him.
Boomstick: But the real kicker here is him fighting Godzilla in Hell. This version of Godzilla was able to destroy a mountain meant to be God with a single blast of his Divine-powered Atomic Breath, but said blast only cracked open True Form Ultima’s chest! And Ultima’s Atomic Breath was also capable of matching the blast of Hellbat Godzilla, which completely annihilated a demon guarding the gate out of hell implied to be the friggin’ Devil! And after all that, Ultima just up and banished Godzilla in Hell, THEN blew up the Earth itself! GODDAMN!
Wiz: With all this power, it seemed impossible that Ultima could even lose. However, what he didn’t count on was the tenacity of the biggest thorn in his side: Burning Godzilla.
Weaknesses:
- Arrogant and sadistic to a fault
- Blasting the core in his chest will cause him to explode and die
- Can still be caught off guard and thrown around
- Attacks take time to charge up
Wiz: Even after the destruction of the Earth, the Heisei era kaiju still remained defiant. And as Ultima prepared to wipe him from existence with an attack that would rend all of reality, Burning took advantage of the appearance of several gigantic crystals, reflecting his own Atomic Breath and empowering it further until it hit Ultima dead on, blasting open his chest once again.
Boomstick: Yeah, the reason why we put so much emphasis on that is because the core of Ultima’s true form is contained within his chest. If he doesn’t heal it in time, a sufficiently powerful blast can nail him right in the core and damage it, which will quickly cause the dude to outright explode! And that’s exactly what Burning Godzilla did with an Infinite Heat Ray as he was melting down.
Wiz: In the end, while Ultima was still quite methodical in his fights against the other Godzillas, his own arrogance proved to be his undoing. He had properly registered Marvel Goji and Hell Goji as formidable threats, but thought the battle won too soon. And so, the last remaining Godzilla in the fight, the one he himself orchestrated, was given the opening to finally end his reign of terror.
Boomstick: Urgh… I know I should feel all triumphant right now, but I’m getting paranoid again, Wiz! Tell me Goku won’t come here and blow open the cores in our chests for making him fight the same guy three times!
Wiz: We… don’t even have cores in our chests, Boomstick. And I think you’re just worrying a little too much. Not to brag, but I don’t think we are anywhere near as tyrannical as the combatants we’ve just covered. Sure, we create fights to the death as well, but when it comes to maliciousness, Oscar and Ultima are simply off the charts.
Boomstick: Y-yeah, I think you’re right, Wiz. But despite him ultimately being destroyed, there’s no doubt that Ultima left quite the mark on the entire Godzilla multiverse through his actions. For whether he’s orchestrating fights or getting ready to cause the apocalypse, there’s one thing you can count on: Godzilla Ultima bringing in a hopeless future for our universe and beyond.
(Godzilla Ultima is seen roaring in his true form.)
Pre-Fight[]
Wiz: All right, the combatants are set, and we’ve run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: IT’S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLEEEEEEEEEE!

Fight[]
In a massive arena within an even more massive desert on an alien planet, a gigantic royale was currently occurring.
(Cue Battle Arena Music)
Fiction’s most well known movie and TV villains were duking it out with each other; ripping each other apart, taking down their foes with their own unique abilities, and saying the occasional quip or reference in the process. In one particular section of the arena, The Hobbit’s Smaug had just finished eating Jurassic Park’s Rexy, which he accentuated by wiping his lips with a comically-sized handkerchief as he savored the meal.
Smaug: Mmm, Jurassic pork!
Just as he finished saying this however, his head was suddenly grabbed by two scaly arms which pulled it back, allowing him to get a view of the arena’s largest combatant: Godzilla, King of the Monsters. The gold-hoarding dragon was defenseless as the kaiju quickly fired his Atomic Breath down his throat, causing his head to be separated from the rest of his body, which fell to the ground. Godzilla then looked down at the ground, spotting several other villains who were calling his name in shock.
As all this occurred, up in his gigantic Golden Globe, the orchestrator of this event watched with mild interest. He had seen this play out literally thousands of times before, but with Godzilla’s arrival, he hoped the battle would get more interesting. Perhaps the saurian could win again? He doubted it, but hey, he was ready for anything.
Oscar continued to gaze down as the villains he so meticulously recreated continued to fight each other, smiling internally at the rush the crowd was receiving from the event. The newcomer Thanos had been doing quite well with that little gauntlet of his. Maybe this time, he would be the winner-
(Stop music)
The golden alien’s thoughts were interrupted as a gigantic blue portal opened within the arena. While he at first didn’t really pay it any mind, thinking it was just an ability one of the many villains possessed, he did raise an eyebrow as everyone stopped fighting to look at the portal, giving him the feeling that it didn’t belong somehow. His suspicions were only further raised as Godzilla specifically seemed entranced by the portal, almost drawn to it.
The recreated movie monster gazed at the swirling blue energy before he began to walk towards it, and at that moment, Oscar acted quickly. His Golden Globe suddenly fired an electric blast right in front of Godzilla, causing him to pause in his tracks as the trophy villain began to speak from the comfort of his residence.
Oscar: VILLAINS. IT APPEARS THERE IS AN UNWANTED DISTURBANCE IN THE ARENA. PLEASE, STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE. I SHALL PERSONALLY INVESTIGATE THIS ANOMALY.
All of the villains did what the voice told them and stood still as Oscar, from within his Globe, began to move it down towards the massive opening in space-time. As he did, several Orblets followed his lead, and soon, the Golden Globe flew right into the portal, tailed by the swarm of Orblets. As soon as Oscar and the last of his forces entered the portal, it immediately closed, leaving the villains in confusion.
Walter White: Jesse… what do we do now?
Jesse Pinkman: Don’t tell me, bi-
Harley Quinn: Let’s just continue fighting each other! That weird voice didn’t need to tell us anyways!
And so, continue fighting they did.
Earth, unknown universe
Oscar was, to put it mildly, confused as he passed through the portal and onto the other side. Why had it just suddenly appeared in his own arena? Why did all the villains become confused by it? And why did Godzilla specifically try to walk into it? Did an outside force somehow find out about his Super-Showdown-Bowls? The golden giant scanned his surroundings as his Globe continued to float through the air, until he eventually spotted something of interest: a red cloud. Oscar quickly approached it, flanked by his fleet, only to become even more confused.
Standing within the cloud was very clearly Godzilla. He recognized the saurian stance, the reptilian scales, and the dorsal plates running down his back. However, the creature also had a much longer tail, what appeared to be tusks, and spikes around his neck and chest. This must have been a different version he was seeing, then. But why was it here? Quickly, Oscar closed his eyes, attempting to read the mind of the beast.
Godzilla Ultima, meanwhile, was just as confused as Oscar. He had sensed the presence of a Godzilla in another universe and conjured the portal to send him here to fight, but instead, he was met with these strange mechanical golden orbs. The monster growled at the orbs, unsure of what their intentions were. After a few seconds, the being suddenly sensed something in his mind, causing his eyes to widen.
At the same time, Oscar’s eyes narrowed in fury as he learned of Ultima’s intentions. His voice began to boom out from the Golden Globe as its “eye” glowed.
(Cue The Hot Wind Blowing Instrumental - Metal Gear Rising Revengeance OST)
Oscar: I SEE. YOU’RE TRYING TO STEAL MY WARRIORS AWAY FROM ME, TRYING TO RUIN A LONG-TIME TRADITION I HAVE BEEN HOLDING. I’M AFRAID I CANNOT TOLERATE FURTHER INTERFERENCE FROM THE LIKES OF YOU. PREPARE TO BE DESTROYED.
Godzilla Ultima knew exactly what Oscar intended to do next. Fearlessly, the anomalous Monster King let out a loud roar towards the Globe floating above him, his dorsal plates beginning to glow, starting from the tail. The golden alien, in response, gritted his teeth, ready to…
FIGHT!
Immediately, the Golden Globe sent out another electric beam towards Ultima, quickly striking the monster dead-on in an explosion. Oscar watched, expecting to see only the saurian’s skeleton remaining, but was caught off-guard as the smoke cleared to reveal a perfectly-intact Ultima, energy rings appearing in front of his glowing mouth. He immediately pointed forward, sending Orblets to zap the kaiju, but their tinier beams left Ultima similarly unfazed. Frowning, Oscar opened the hatch on the bottom of his Globe, preparing to jump just in case.
After charging up his beam, Ultima let loose, his Molecular Laser disintegrating several Orblets before striking the globe in the side, immediately causing it to shake as a hole was torn in its side. Godzilla stopped firing, then shot out another blast of his Atomic Breath as the Golden Globe fired another blast from its eye in response. The two lasers clashed against each other, but Ultima’s beam quickly began to push back Oscar’s before eventually piercing through the Globe’s eye.
In a matter of seconds, the orb, impaled by Godzilla’s attack, cracked before exploding, causing Ultima to let out a roar of victory. As he did, however, a golden mass descended from the explosion before making a superhero landing on the rocky ground. Oscar himself, now fully revealed, stood up to his twenty-foot height, which was still minuscule in comparison to the goliath in front of him. Despite this however, the giant humanoid remained unintimidated by the kaiju.
Oscar: Seems I’ll have to deal with you personally.
Ultima roared and began charging towards Oscar, who quickly levitated up from the ground before summoning his version of Mjolnir. He began to charge it up with lightning before shooting it right towards Godzilla’s face, causing the kaiju to stagger in pain and growl. Oscar soon threw the hammer at Ultima before flying forward, his arm morphing into a blade. The kaiju was too late to react as the alien carved a gash into his shoulder, causing him to cry out in anger before Oscar turned around and punched him with a fist construct from his Green Lantern ring, nearly flooring the beast.
Oscar: The bigger they are, the harder they fall!
Godzilla did not fall however, and in response, his lengthy tail whipped around before striking the golden alien down to the ground. The statuesque Oscar made an indent in the rock, but quickly got up and brushed himself off before glaring up at his larger foe. In response, Godzilla began to charge up his Atomic Breath again, Oscar rolling his eyes before he shot forward lasers from them.
They burned into Ultima’s flesh, but made only-surface level wounds which soon began to heal. Noticing this, Oscar instead flew off to the side as Ultima fired his beam once more, completely missing the alien. The kaiju began to turn, attempting to catch the alien in the blast, only to receive another nasty surprise as Oscar teleported in front of his face, wielding a Lightsaber. Oscar shot forward to jam the weapon into Godzilla’s eye, only for the goliath to lurch forward and headbutt him up into the sky before he could.
Quickly, Godzilla aimed his head upwards, his Molecular Laser engulfing Oscar and pushing away the clouds in the sky with its sheer force. After a few seconds, Ultima cut off power to the laser, growling in satisfaction. However, as he did, he saw Oscar descending from the skies, not a single scratch on his body. Godzilla didn’t have time to ponder this before parts of Oscar’s body opened, revealing a Plasma Caster and several missile launchers. The trophy villain unleashed his firepower on the kaiju, but Godzilla began to charge through the projectiles before attempting to bite on Oscar.
As he did, however, Oscar suddenly began to grow in size, forcing Ultima to back off lest his jaw get broken. The kaiju stepped back and watched as his formerly-smaller opponent became the same size as him, eyeing him with anger.
Oscar: Perhaps we’ll play it your way!
Oscar unsheathed Wolverine’s claws from his right hand before blitzing forward at blinding speeds, reappearing right in front of his foe in an instant. With his new claws, the alien carved three gashes into Godzilla’s chest, making him roar in agony before he charged at the statuesque villain, beginning to shove him back. Oscar’s feet dug grooves into the ground before a Tripod arm emerged from his shoulder, firing a disintegration beam right into Ultima’s face. The kaiju drew back in pain and immediately began to charge up his Molecular Laser, the giant Oscar kicking him back as he did so.
Oscar: Is that all you’ve got?!
With anger in his eyes, Ultima finished charging before unleashing another beam at the golden alien, who raised his arm and spontaneously formed Captain America’s shield to block it. While it didn’t go through, the concussive force pushed him back, but Oscar was not deterred in the slightest. Instead, he summoned Indiana Jones’ whip to his other hand and sent it forward over the Atomic Breath. It quickly wrapped around Ultima’s neck, making him stop firing, before Oscar grunted as he pulled back, lifting Ultima into the air.
Godzilla shrieked in surprise as he was sent sailing through the sky, before Oscar turned around and pulled down, causing the kaiju to hit a mountain hard enough to shatter it entirely. Oscar pulled back his whip before teleporting to the saurian, punching his head down to the ground as he tried to get back up.
Oscar: Don’t you get it yet? I’m just toying with you. You are nothing!
As he said this, Oscar moved his hand, sending the monster king sailing through the air with telekinesis before he hit another mountain. As the trophy villain advanced forward, he suddenly noticed red crystals appearing around him as the red dust began to pick up in intensity. Oscar looked around in mild interest before the Archetype crystals shot towards him, however several immediately bounced off his impenetrable skin. As more Archetype constructs began to manifest, Oscar grabbed them with the Force before hurling them at their wielder, who had just pulled himself out of the mountain he was sent into.
Ultima roared loudly as the crystals and shards made from his own Archetype pierced him, but still he refused to give in. The atomic beast let out another earth-shattering roar before he charged at Oscar, who summoned a katana and sliced it into Godzilla’s flesh. Using his jaws, Ultima quickly wrenched the weapon away from his foe and threw it away as his recent gash, like all his wounds had, began to close over. Oscar groaned before he unleashed lasers from his fingertips, all striking at one focused spot and blasting a piece of flesh from Godzilla.
As the kaiju staggered back, Oscar allowed himself to begin to grin before out from the wound suddenly erupted fleshy tendrils, closing around the alien’s chest and head as he began to struggle. Ultima let out a slight chuckle before turning around and hurling Oscar into the ground, nearly burying him. The tendrils retracted back into the beast’s body, and as he looked down into the hole and saw nothing, Godzilla Ultima roared back his head and roared in victory.
(Fade out music)
However, that wasn’t the end of it.
Oscar: Giant monsters can be quite the nuisance…
Ultima spun around in surprise to see his foe behind him, completely unharmed.
Oscar: But thankfully, I know how to deal with unruly beasts such as you.
Oscar took out a Pym Disc, and before Ultima could react, he threw it at the kaiju’s nose, forcibly shrinking the Beast of the Apocalypse down to the size of a rat. Godzilla had only seconds to look up before the golden foot of Oscar came down onto him, seemingly crushing him into a pulp. The golden villain looked down at his foe with smug disdain at how easily he had fallen, but quickly noticed something wasn’t right as the Red Dust began to swirl around him. This was impossible, Godzilla should be dead!
Suddenly, Oscar felt a force under his foot and stepped back, shocked for truly the first time in a long while as Ultima began to grow back to regular size in a cloud of Red Dust. To make matters worse, his back was currently glowing that vibrant blue again. Stunned by how casually his enemy recovered from what should have been a fatal move, Oscar didn’t react in time before Ultima fired his Molecular Laser, pushing the villain back until he collided with a cliff. Godzilla let out another bellow, before bending down, his skin beginning to harden.
As Oscar got up, he saw his foe seemingly pause in place, causing him to narrow his eyes. He opened his mouth before shooting a blast of flame from it, but the fires failed to scorch Godzilla at all. Frowning, Oscar then fired out his own version of Cyclops’ eye laser, but right as he did, Ultima’s entire body fully hardened into a cocoon of sorts, the laser failing to breach the Archetype it was composed of.
Oscar: Coward!
Enraged, Oscar lifted up the essentially petrified Godzilla with telekinesis before beginning to slam him down onto the ground over and over again. To add to his woes, he then shot out frost from his hands, freezing over the cocooned Ultima. The trophy villain stood there for several seconds, waiting to see what would happen-
Suddenly, the ground began to shake as Ultima’s body began to glow. Oscar quickly summoned a chainsaw in one hand, but he was interrupted from doing anything else by a blast of energy that was emitted from Godzilla, launching him away. Red Dust began to spread everywhere, the surroundings turning a deep red in color as Oscar anchored himself to the ground, observing what was happening. Godzilla’s cocoon was now glowing like a red sun, the light nearly blinding the golden alien.
(Cue Meathook - Mick Gordon)
Then, a massive tail began to unfurl from the light, slightly peeking out with Oscar taking notice. As more of the tail began to unfurl and lightning began to strike the surroundings, the light also started fading, revealing the imposing sight it had been building up to. Godzilla Ultima was now over thrice his size before, and was completely red in color. The various spikes on his body were tipped with blue, and his ferocious eyes were glowing intensely. The beast growled as more of his new appearance was unveiled, Oscar taking it all in, before the kaiju let out a bellowing roar, glowing brightly as the matter around him did so as well.
Godzilla Ultima had entered his True Form.
Oscar growled in anger at the sight, before ripping rocks out of the ground with telekinesis. He reshaped them into spikes, before hurling them at Godzilla. However, the spikes only ended up shattering against his hide, the kaiju looking at his opponent incredulously before he slashed his hand towards him. Despite both being several hundred meters away, a trio of energy slashes suddenly hit Oscar, causing the humanoid to stumble in surprise before Ultima swiped with his claws again, slashing the alien across the face.
Godzilla proceeded to repeat this again, and again, and again. Eventually, Oscar got sick of Ultima’s attacks and manifested Iron Man’s Arc Reactor on his chest before firing out an enhanced Unibeam from it, striking Ultima in the chest. The kaiju stopped attacking, only to clench his fist as it began glowing. Confused, Oscar was caught off guard as an entire mountain slammed into his back, sending him flying towards his larger foe. As he approached Ultima, the golden man began to grow to match his size and whipped out Ghost Rider’s flaming chain before sending it towards his foe. However, the kaiju simply opened a small portal which the chain went into before another one opened right next to Oscar’s face, causing the alien to accidentally hit himself with his own weapon.
Oscar groaned in surprise before Ultima reared back his fist, and, just when Oscar was in range, slammed an energy-infused punch right into his abdomen. The wind was knocked out of the humanoid, who was launched upwards into the sky. Quick to counter, he took out a set of Hela’s throwing knives mid-air before tossing them at Ultima as he stabilized himself, but the swords seemed to dissipate as they hit the beast, who chuckled in response.
Oscar: You dare mock me?!
The golden alien teleported back down to Ultima’s level, now double-wielding Sauron’s mace and Thanos’ double-sided sword. He swung the mace into Ultima’s skull, staggering the god as he stepped back, before he attempted to strike him with the sword. As he did however, Ultima’s lengthy tail whipped forward, clashing against Oscar’s other weapon. It then proceeded to wrap around the blade and casually toss it away. Quickly, the humanoid’s now empty hand began to shift in appearance until it became Mr. Freeze’s Freeze Rifle.
Oscar: Tell me, what killed the dinosaurs?
Oscar shot a blast from the weapon towards Ultima, only for the blast to inexplicably curve downward before it could hit him, freezing over the ground instead. Before Oscar could respond to this strange occurrence, he suddenly felt gravity itself seem to weaken, causing him to begin floating along with the nearby mountains. Godzilla, taking advantage of the distraction, began to charge up an empowered version of his Molecular Laser, geometric shapes appearing in front of his glowing maw.
Oscar: Oh no, you DON’T!
The trophy villain began to surround himself with cosmic energy in a fashion similar to Captain Marvel, before blasting it from his arms towards his foe. Ultima simply continued to charge his Atomic Breath before finally firing it at Oscar’s blast. The second both attacks connected, there was already a clear winner: Godzilla’s blast was plowing through Oscar’s at breakneck speeds!
Oscar: Impossible!
Distracted, the alien had no defense as Ultima’s enhanced Molecular Laser slammed into him violently, blasting him through several mountains before engulfing him in a massive explosion. The divine saurian ceased fire before staring at the smoke, waiting for whatever his foe had planned next. After a few seconds, Ultima was suddenly hit over the head by another mace, causing him to turn around. Behind him was Oscar in a Transformer-like form, the AurumBot, double wielding Megatron’s mace and Optimus’ sword.
The humanoid stabbed forward with his blade, but with one glowing arm, Ultima quickly wrenched up Oscar’s own arm with telekinesis before the sword could hit him. At the same time, his incomprehensibly long tail shot forward and began to wrap around the alien like a snake, pinning his arms to his sides. The golden man began to struggle in the kaiju’s grip, and when that proved futile, he shot forward eye lasers which Godzilla didn’t even feel in the slightest.
Ultima began chuckling as his body started to glow blue again, his arrogance blinding him to the sight of the AurumBot slowly building up with many different kinds of energy, including lightning, cosmic energy, atomic energy, and even the Power Stone’s own destructive energy, which he had covertly summoned to his hand.
Oscar: You may have the size, but you don’t have the power!
Suddenly, an utterly gigantic pulse of energy blasted out of Oscar, taking him out of his Transformer form and actually managing to blast Ultima onto his back. The kaiju roared for a brief second before he suddenly disappeared, teleporting back onto his feet right next to his foe with a glowing fist. He proceeded to sock Oscar in the gut before biting down onto his shoulder and spinning around to throw him. The alien, not one to be outdone, held out the hand which contained the Power Stone before slamming it directly into Godzilla’s side, launching away the god with a bellow of anger.
Oscar: You miserable brute, you are only testing my patie-
In the middle of his monologue, the ground suddenly erupted around Oscar, trapping his feet and legs momentarily. He immediately kicked forward and destroyed some of it, but was immediately alerted to a new sight: Ultima was raising one hand into the air, and drawing bright orange energy into it from the sky. Oscar looked up, seeing in surprise that the energy far past extended through the clouds, and seemed to be drawn from… the Sun?!
This actually caught the trophy villain off-guard. How had his foe gotten so powerful?! He attempted to fire lightning at Ultima, but the Godzilla simply bent down and allowed his dorsal plates to begin absorbing the energy as he continued charging his next attack. Angered, Oscar teleported to his foe before summoning Ronan the Accuser’s hammer into his hand, holding it up high and getting ready to slam it down onto Ultima. Just as he swung down though, the kaiju turned around and fired an utterly massive blast of solar energy at him, sending the alien flying back before he slammed into a mountain.
Godzilla growled at his foe. Was this all he had to offer?
Oscar was not done yet, however. Out of his fingers came lasers that ended up striking Ultima right in his glowing eyes, causing him to stagger as he roared in surprise. Taking advantage of the distraction, the humanoid summoned the Eye of Agamotto as green energy began to surround his arm. Clearly, Godzilla had evolved, but he wasn’t always this strong. All he had to do was reverse time for the goliath, and he would be back to that weaker form he had seen earlier.
Oscar aimed a hand at the approaching Ultima, then began to turn it as a green symbol appeared in his palm. The kaiju began walking backwards on his previous path, seemingly affected by the Time Stone… then stopped in place. The golden man was confused, but continued trying to turn Godzilla back in time anyways.
That’s when Ultima’s tail lurched forward, closing the distance and striking a shocked Oscar right in the face. How was that possible, he shouldn’t have been able to move under the effects of the Eye! Oscar pushed himself up, and, for the first time, had a look of horror as he saw Godzilla, completely unchanged in appearance, charging another Molecular Laser. It made no sense, but he was seeing it right here: Ultima had managed to resist the effects of the Time Stone.
The trophy villain had had enough of this. Right before Godzilla unleashed his Atomic Breath, the alien teleported out of the way, causing Ultima’s ray to carve a hole into the Earth. Unseen by either, it continued further until it shot out of the other side of the planet before the god cut off power to it. Summoning the Tesseract, Oscar quickly got to work opening a portal out of this dimension.
Oscar: If I’m to beat him, perhaps I’ll need a little distraction.
Ultima turned around and noticed what his foe was doing, quickly raising his arm as his hand glowed with energy. Just as the portal expanded to Oscar’s gigantic size, the energy surged, and Oscar had only a second to realize what was happening before time itself was frozen, with the exception of Ultima. Growling, the deity quickly ripped several mountains from the Earth before tossing them at the unmoving alien. Time resumed at just the right moment for the mountains to collide with Oscar, sending him flying into his portal. With a chuckle, Ultima levitated off of the ground before beginning to fly into the space-time rip. After a few seconds, his tail had fully entered the portal, and it closed behind him, leaving the desolated battlefield behind.
(Stop music)
Oscar’s Arena
The villain royale had only gotten more intense, with more having fallen since Oscar’s absence. Godzilla was currently blasting several of them into ashes, while others were clashing on the ground with their respective weapons. Magneto was eyeing the King of the Monsters, planning on stopping his rampage, however they were all once again interrupted as a gigantic blue portal opened up in the middle of the arena, causing the villains to look towards it.
Agent Smith: Deja vu.
Hela: What could this possibly be about now-
Oscar was suddenly sent flying out of the portal along with a few massive chunks of rock, slamming into the sand and crushing a few villains. However, as concerning of a sight as that was, it didn’t nearly compare to the red, glowing saurian that flew out of the portal next, his lengthy tail slowly curling around the entire place as he glared down at every surviving character that still remained. The Monsterverse’s Godzilla stared at his counterpart with wide eyes as Red Dust began to cloud the arena, but Ultima paid him no mind, instead locking onto the downed Oscar.
The alien soon got up, looking around at the arena. Ultima did the same as well, and, noticing how he was barely fitting in it, raised up his glowing hand once more. In seconds, the entire place began to expand in space, reality distorting as the godly kaiju saw fit. Oscar looked around as his spectators were pushed further away, but he quickly shook that distraction off before raising his hand. Suddenly, several more Orblets were summoned into existence. Part of him had doubts that it would work, but he had the perfect distraction in mind for his scaly foe:
Cannon fodder.
Oscar: Regenerate all of the warriors!
Every Orblet summoned soon got to work, healing the downed villains back to their prime states and even beginning to summon the heroes. Naturally, several villains who knew said heroes began to glare at them, with a few on both sides preparing their respective weapons, but Oscar’s voice stopped them before they could try anything.
Oscar: If you want to live, you will help me fight this monster!
The summoned characters all looked up at the towering figure of Ultima, staring at him with awe and fear.
Iron Man: Well, isn’t this just great?
Smaug: Now there’s two of them?!
Darth Vader: How intriguing…
Optimus Prime: We must not give in to such a threat!
As the hundreds of characters murmured and spoke, Ultima looked at the equally-large Oscar incredulously. This was his plan? Fine then, if he wanted to let others do his dirty work, the Singular Point would respond in kind. Channeling his reality-bending power once more, Ultima suddenly opened several large portals next to him, six to be exact, heralding the arrival of his own backup.
What came afterwards was, to everyone else’s shock, the arrival of even more variants of Godzilla. A high-pitched roar was heard as the Showa era’s Monster King stepped out first, surveying the army that stood before him. The Kiryu Saga’s Godzilla followed soon after, letting out his own roar, before the scarred, mutated form of Shin Godzilla exited the third portal.
From the fourth came the aggressive, white-coated form of Snow Godzilla, growling at the opposition. The fifth one heralded the arrival of the largest one there; the green, red-eyed Godzilla of Marvel Comics stomping into the fray. And lastly, out of the sixth came the relatively short, yet still imposing, form of Minus One’s incarnation of the kaiju, growling with hatred at the crowd stood before him.
Oscar stepped back, slightly intimidated, but quickly prepared himself. Out from his knuckles came a psionic blade, the other hand summoning his golden chainsaw and several ports opening all over his body to reveal more missile launchers and the Plasma Caster. From out of his back emerged Doctor Octopus’ tentacles, which all zeroed in on the god stood before the alien.
Though he had to reuse a few weapons, Oscar was nowhere near out of tricks. He was the one in control here, not Ultima. The godly saurian was in his territory now, and if the brute wanted him to go all out, he would show him how much of a mistake he had made provoking a being of his power. The humanoid glared with utter hatred at the Monster King, who glared back with equal fury.
The battle was only just beginning.
(Cue We’re All to Blame - Sum 41)
Oscar: FIGHT!
Godzilla Ultima: SKREEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!
Both sides charged forward, and the bloodshed began.
As Oscar and Ultima collided in the middle, the live-action army began their fight against the gathered Godzilla’s. MarvelGoji made a beeline for the Avengers, having instantly recognized them. Iron Man managed to dodge a claw and fired a Repulsor Beam, but it didn’t scratch the goliath in the slightest. Marvel swiped his tail, immediately taking out dozens of the army with one attack, before the Hulk punched him, forcing him back. Showa fired his Atomic Breath, melting several of the villains into puddles, before he was interrupted as something slammed into his leg.
Looking down, he saw Peter Jackson’s King Kong, punching and biting at his foot. The Monster King raised an eyebrow at his now-smaller rival, before he simply kicked the oversized ape away. Meanwhile, a Tripod fired disintegrator rays at KiryuGoji, who roared in pain as the beams sliced into his hide. The kaiju opened his mouth before unleashing his own atomic breath, which managed to take out several characters who had taken to the skies, however it only crashed against the machine’s forcefield.
Though much chaos was occurring, many of Oscar’s involuntary army hadn’t forgotten their primary objective. Optimus Prime ran forward before pulling out his blaster, firing several shots at Ultima. The deity wasn’t affected by them at all, but when Thanos lurched forward with a Power Stone-enhanced punch, Ultima was actually caught off-guard and swayed slightly. This gave Oscar the chance to stab the monster in the neck, causing him to bellow in anger before he began to claw his foe back.
Ultima soon pushed away the humanoid, only for fire to engulf his spiky back. The kaiju looked behind himself and saw Smaug flying by, having shot his fire breath at the god. The Singular Point simply growled before swiping at the dragon, causing energy claws to slice into him. Middle-Earth’s dragon let out a roar of pain before a portal suddenly opened in front of him, which the injured Smaug fell into. Unfortunately, it was right as Oscar was firing his new arsenal at Ultima, and the beast was used as a meat shield, getting shredded by the missiles and plasma shots.
A few still managed to strike their actual target however, and one of Oscar’s robotic tentacles picked up a clump of sand before throwing it at Ultima’s eyes. Though silly in concept, it did temporarily distract the reality warper, allowing Oscar to charge forward before slicing his foe with his chainsaw. As the leviathan smacked him away with his tail before he himself began to manipulate the sand in the arena to shoot towards Oscar, both of their “allies” continued to fight.
Minus One roared down at several of the Jurassic Park dinosaurs, scaring them away, before Ant-Man began to grow to his size. The kaiju was taken aback as Scott Lang socked him right between the eyes, causing him to bellow in anger. Snow Godzilla meanwhile shot out an ice beam, freezing many heroes and villains as he swept it across the arena. The Xenomorph Queen tried to jump onto his thigh, but the winter-themed saurian picked her up before tossing her away.
While all of this carnage was happening, the 10th Doctor and Doctor Manhattan were… playing chess off to the side.
(Music volume lowers)
The Doctor: Don’t you think we should interfere?
Doctor Manhattan: I believe now is not the time yet. I have foreseen more to come.
The Doctor: Ah, I don’t like the sound of that.
Doctor Manhattan: Do not fret, Doctor, when the time comes, we shall be ready.
The Doctor: We certainly must, we don’t have any other choice. Now then, I do believe you’re in check, Jon Osterman.
(Music volume increases again)
Meanwhile, Oscar’s own version of Godzilla crashed into Shin Godzilla, who roared and swatted him away with his tail. The recreation’s plates began to light up before he shot out his Atomic Breath, which managed to push back the scarred mutant. The Titan quickly stomped towards his counterpart, only to receive a bite to the neck. As Shin attempted to crush his windpipe, Superman suddenly came in and punched the mutant right in the side, causing him to screech out as he fell. As the Monsterverse Godzilla approached the downed Shin, however, his dorsal plates started to glow purple.
Near this small battle, Iron Man crashed down into the sand, his armor damaged. Above him was the towering form of Marvel Godzilla, who raised his foot and prepared to crush the Avenger. However, in the nick of time, the Hulk ran up to the other green goliath and caught his foot, attempting to push him back. MarvelGoji continued trying to stomp his foe into the ground before a gigantic blast of Thor’s lightning caught him in the chest, making him stumble back. The Hulk took this opportunity to leap at his chest and begin punching him mercilessly, eliciting a bellow from his massive foe.
The war only continued to intensify even as more of Oscar’s warriors began to fall. Darth Vader held back Snow Godzilla’s tail with the Force as his son in an X-Wing fired at the creature’s body, to no effect. KiryuGoji was now tearing apart the Tripod with his teeth and claws as his wounds regenerated, with several warriors firing all sorts of projectiles at his back. In the middle of everything, Oscar and Ultima continued their godly brawl. A slice to Ultima’s neck with a psionic blade was met with a nasty headbutt and a brief application of telekinesis which sent Oscar’s face right into Ultima’s fist, which was enhanced with energy. In turn, Oscar summoned back Cap’s shield before he began to swing at Ultima with it, staggering the Singular Point before he added to his woes with several Plasma Blasts.
As Minus One attempted several futile claw swings at Scott Lang, who continued to punch and shove him, the saurian let out a booming, enraged roar before the dorsal plates at the tip of his tail suddenly shot upwards, now glowing blue. Slowly, more and more of his plates began to rise, Ant-Man staring at this strange occurrence, before his mouth began to glow. Quickly, the superhero attempted to intercept this attack, however he was a second too late as Minus One suddenly fired his Atomic Breath, blasting a hole right through his chest. The beam continued until it hit Oscar, at which point an utterly massive mushroom cloud engulfed most of the enlarged arena.
Characters who took to the skies such as the Wicked Witch, Maleficent, Ultron and Zod were sent reeling by the explosion, with Superman’s rival ending up in the path of Shin Godzilla’s Heat Ray, which sliced into both him and Oscar’s Godzilla. Several other warriors were demolished by Minus One’s shockwave, and even KiryuGoji and Showa Godzilla were sent flying by the explosion. As everything around him was destroyed, Minus One looked up into the skies before letting out a victorious roar-
Which was promptly interrupted as a towering Oscar grabbed him and lifted him up, glaring into the 50-meter Godzilla’s eyes. The wrathful beast only responded with an angry growl, as if daring the alien to do his worst. Before anything else could happen, however, Ultima’s tail came round and struck Oscar in the side, making him drop Minus One out of reflex. The humanoid turned towards his foe, only to see his entire body glowing that ominous blue once more.
Oscar: I’ve had enough of you and your little light shows!
Using his reality warping, Oscar summoned pieces of his Transformer form out of thin air before clumping them all into a single ball with Magneto’s telekinesis. Just as Ultima’s Molecular Laser roared to life, the alien sent the ball forward as fast as he could, successfully blocking the laser. The atomic beam’s power was great, but it still failed to cut through whatever Oscar was made out of, and as a result it began to get closer and closer to Godzilla’s mouth, threatening to completely push the energy back and overload it. In response, Ultima only chuckled as darkness surrounded his arm.
Once he swiped it forward, Oscar’s eyes widened as he saw yet another trick of his foe: a singularity suddenly opened up right in the middle of the clump of “metal”, sucking it up before disappearing in an instant. Despite this, Ultima’s beam still continued on towards its target, and Oscar was forced to quickly become intangible, letting the beam pass through him and crash off into the distance. The alien was now more concerned than ever at his foe’s power. There had to be some way to get past it! As he continued to ponder this however, the humanoid saw his foe’s arms beginning to glow brightly again.
Ultima had had enough of this.
Before Oscar could figure out what was happening now, both of them suddenly disappeared from the arena in a massive flash of light, leaving their armies behind.
(Fade out music)
With their commanders now gone, some combatants from both sides stopped fighting to look at what just happened in confusion, while the more aggressive ones continued to tear each other apart.
Yoda: A disturbance, I sense…
Doctor Manhattan: The time approaches ever so closely. Catastrophe will occur.
Unknown Universe
(Cue With No Mercy - Secession Studios)
Oscar was surprised as both he and Ultima reappeared in the universe where their fight had started, now in the vacuum of space itself. The alien surveyed his surroundings before glaring at his enemy. Godzilla merely glared back in response, before Oscar began to speak.
Oscar: You think you’re the one in control here? That you’re the one who decides how things go?! NO! I pull the strings here, and you’re just another puppet!
The alien tapped into Ultima’s mind, raising two fingers to his own head while continuing to berate his foe in a potently venomous tone.
Oscar: I’ve just been toying with you this whole time, don’t you see it?! I can control anything and everything I want, whenever I want… including your own mind! I can make you give up this hopeless fight, for good!
Ultima continued to float, staring at Oscar as his mind began to get invaded. The latter smirked as he started the process of breaking his foe’s will.
Oscar: I’ve forced beings stronger than you to fight in my arenas. You… are… NOTHING!
The deity let out a low growl, not moving as Oscar lowered his hand, his mind powers having been successfully channeled. The humanoid was grinning at this point, knowing the battle was already won. A few seconds went by, nothing else happening…
Until a gigantic meteor surrounded by blue energy suddenly slammed into Oscar.
The alien exclaimed in surprise as he was sent sailing through space by the surprise attack, but surprise quickly morphed into horror when, against all laws of physics, the sound of the booming, ever-defiant roar of his foe echoed through space, heralding Ultima charging through the debris to send Oscar away with a punch to the gut.
Oscar: HOW?!
This was impossible! His foe shouldn’t still have the will to fight! He manipulated his very mind, yet this… being, was still going! Oscar didn’t waste a second before he teleported right in front of Ultima and thrusted his hand into his chest. Gold began to spread as Ultima looked at what was happening.
Oscar: TRY RESISTING THIS!
While the challenge to fight against Oscar’s assimilation was very much a taunt, Ultima seemed to take it to heart as his entire body began glowing white, before a nuclear pulse blasted back his alien foe, halting the assimilation process. Godzilla looked down at the gold on his body before his hand hovered over the infected areas with a blue glow. In seconds, Ultima’s body completely restored itself to normal, with not a single trace of gold on it.
Oscar’s eye twitched as he saw this.
Oscar: NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!
The alien’s right hand began to morph into one of the most powerful weapons he had ever replicated from seeing Earth’s media: a golden glove, six stones occupying slots in the back of its hand that glowed with the power to alter all of space, time, and more aspects of the very universe. Oscar fixed Ultima with a look of pure, unbridled hatred as he summoned the Infinity Gauntlet itself.
Oscar: I’ve had just about enough of this game! You are an ANT to me, and nothing more! When I’m done with you, I won’t even spare you the honor of making you a warrior in one of my arenas!
Ultima responded to Oscar’s rant by beginning to grow in size at an exponential rate. Quickly, the already gigantic alien found himself dwarfed as the deity grew to the size of a mountain, chuckling down at his minuscule foe. Not one to be outdone, the humanoid began to grow in size as well, eventually matching Ultima’s ludicrous size. Both fight-orchestrating gods were more than determined to channel all the power they could to finally end the other as they floated in space.
Only the strongest will survive.
(Cue A Stranger I Remain - Metal Gear Rising Revengeance OST)
Oscar made the first move of their final confrontation, his Gauntlet glowing as he fired a focused blast of energy from it. Ultima quickly summoned a reflective crystal-like shield, deflecting it back at Oscar, who grunted as he absorbed the beam back into his body. Ultima bellowed as he spun around, his utterly gargantuan tail slamming into the golden alien, sending him soaring into a state-sized asteroid hard enough to shatter it completely. Before a second could even pass, Oscar rocketed out of the field of debris at near-incomprehensible speeds, slamming into Ultima and pushing him through the depths of space.
As Ultima tried to push back, Oscar summoned the god-killing Stormbreaker to his hand, before he swung it down at the leviathan’s neck. Godzilla managed to catch it with his telekinesis however, and with a wave of his arm, Oscar was sent sailing away from him. The Singular Point took this opportunity to begin drawing in energy from the Sun, solar power flowing into his dorsal plates as he let loose with another deep laugh. His eldritch call echoed through the vast emptiness as his back lit up a bright orange, before he fired a scorching, solar energy-enhanced version of his Molecular Laser at his foe.
Oscar quickly summoned a circular forcefield to protect him, and with him putting all of his power into it, he just barely managed to hold out for a few seconds before an explosion sent him reeling back. Stopping his involuntary flight, he saw the Moon next to him and quickly grabbed the entire thing with telekinesis, tossing it at his enemy as the celestial object began to crack. Ultima, in response, stopped time before growing even larger, only letting time continue when he was finished. From Oscar’s perspective, one second the Moon was sailing towards Ultima, the next, the kaiju was suddenly much larger than it, his clawed hands shooting forth to crush it entirely.
Such an occurrence should have been surprising, but with how many tricks Ultima had pulled, this had only made Oscar even angrier. He began to grow in size once again, watching as Ultima began to charge a gargantuan ball of solar energy above his head. The Singular Point let out another distorted roar before he tossed it at his foe, who flew to the side in order to avoid it.
Oscar turned around and watched as the attack began to head towards Earth, and then got an idea. Spinning back towards Ultima, Oscar unleashed several arch-shaped constructs from his back as his hands and chest began glowing. Before the kaiju could respond, all of them unleashed beams of energy in a manner similar to Iron Man’s Mark 50 armor, managing to push back the beast.
With that distraction, Oscar did the inexplicable and teleported himself in front of Earth somewhere where the ball wouldn’t hit him dead on. Godzilla began to charge up energy himself, baffled as to what the alien could possibly be planning, until the solar energy ball finally struck the planet. Oscar grinned as he shot out spikes and grew spider-like legs from his back at that exact instant, the Earth exploding behind him and shooting him forward with the sheer force.
Ultima grunted in shock as Oscar flew towards him at ludicrous speeds, every spike on his body and his spider legs managing to stab into the Singular Point. To make matters worse, Oscar began conducting cosmic energy through his body, causing Godzilla to roar in agony as a hole began to get blown open in his chest.
As the alien saw a blue glow emit from his foe’s chest, an explosion of atomic energy ripped its way out of Ultima’s body, the blast so powerful that it not only sent Oscar flying, but it distorted space-time itself around the god. Ultima glowed with energy, his chest patching itself up in an instant, before looking at where his foe was. Thanks to the distortion of space-time, Oscar was now inexplicably floating next to Mars.
Ultima quickly teleported himself next to the Sun, growing even larger before plunging his hand right into the star. In seconds, he managed to absorb all its energy, and, stopping his growth only when he was at a size even greater than the once mighty Sun, the Singular Point roared as he appeared right in front of Oscar and threw forward a solar-enhanced punch. The humanoid’s hand morphed into a massive shield to block it, the shockwave outright shattering Mars and its moons and sending both tyrants flying back in opposite directions.
As Oscar once again played catch-up by growing to Ultima’s new size, the kaiju fired his Molecular Laser right at the alien’s head, only for him to quickly conjure a Sling Ring in front of himself. The utterly massive beam shot through the portal instead, a second Sling Ring opening to aim it towards Mercury. The Atomic Breath completely disintegrated the small planet before Ultima cut off power to it with a growl. Enraged, he began to swipe at Oscar with Energy Slashes again, only for Oscar to grow sharp claws from his knuckles and begin countering each and every slash with his own.
Just as the alien countered the last blow however, Ultima disappeared, before reappearing a massive distance away from him. With one hand, he began to absorb all the ice and cold from Uranus and Neptune, and with the other, he formed a black hole even farther away which sucked in several stars, allowing him to absorb even more energy from them. Oscar prepared himself as well, several protrusions emitting from his back as he began to glow like a second Sun with all the energy he was charging.
Godzilla quickly combined the heat and cold together into one swirling mass of destruction, before letting out a loud bellow as he shot forward a beam of pure elemental energy at Oscar. The latter glared at him with fury before his hands, mouth, eyes, protrusions, and chest all shot out various beams of energy which all combined into one.
Cosmic energy, Power Stone energy, the essence of the Phoenix Force itself, Kryptionian eye lasers and more of fiction’s most potent essences were all fused into a single blast that met Ultima’s dead on. The mere shockwave of both beams clashing was enough to disembowel nearby planets, and in seconds, the equal power of both quickly overloaded in the middle. A brilliant explosion shook the cosmos themselves as light consumed Oscar, Ultima, and the entire Solar System.
When the light cleared, there was no more trace of the region they had just fought in, but miraculously, both fighters were still intact. However, Oscar had several dents in his body, and Godzilla’s body was all cracked in several places. The alien looked down at his injuries with dismay before instantly shooting forth towards a healing Ultima, who met his approach with a challenging roar. The two had even grown larger now, surrounded by several planets and stars which would prove to be nothing more than collateral damage.
Both tyrants collided once again, beginning to ruthlessly trade blows. Every punch, every slash, every conceivable strike had so much much force behind it that it shook reality itself. Oscar blasted Ultima away with his Infinity Gauntlet, the kaiju responding by tossing several planets at him. The planets shattered against the gargantuan alien before Ultima’s tail whipped towards him, Oscar blocking it with his arm. Soon, the enraged deity screeched before teleporting right in front of Oscar, his fist absorbing solar energy before he socked the humanoid right in his ribs.
The alien responded in kind, his right hand charging with the might of the Power Stone before he shook the galaxy with a punch into Ultima’s chest. As both tyrants continued to brawl, their very clash distorted space-time around them further.
Cracks in the universe began to appear, and in them were glimpses of different universes; ones where other entities of all shapes and sizes also fought. From superheroes punching each other across cities, to kaiju wrestling with each other, swordsmen sparring with style and grace, aliens shooting at each other with advanced technology, and reality warpers distorting the world around them, countless scenes of fights to the death across fiction surrounded Oscar and Ultima as they, ironically, continued their own.
If they hadn’t been so focused on destroying the other and took a second to look at these exhilarating displays of violence and death, their hearts would’ve been filled with a most sadistic glee.
With a roar, Ultima grabbed Oscar’s head before suddenly shoving his face into a nearby star as hard as he could. The alien yelled in agony as he was burned, before his entire body began to glow. The kaiju was blasted back and damaged as the full might of the Phoenix Force exploded out of the humanoid’s body, destroying every single star and planet that was caught within the massive radius.
Enraged, Oscar teleported to Ultima and grabbed him by the throat, before his entire face began to split open upwards like a mouth. With all the fury he could muster, the alien lurched forward as his face turned into a glowing, toothy maw which unleashed the incomprehensible, eldritch power of Pennywise’s Deadlights right into his enemy’s face.
Oscar: JUST DIE ALREADY!!!
In response, Ultima grabbed him by the jaws before he fired his Molecular Laser right into Oscar’s maw, the extraterrestrial’s yell of agony echoing throughout the entire galaxy. Desperate to escape, Oscar kicked with both feet against his foe’s body, launching himself away with an explosion of force while restoring his face back to normal before he summoned a most dangerous and powerful weapon into his hands: Doctor Who’s Dematerialization gun.
Oscar: YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A WORTHLESS INSECT!
The humanoid fired a beam from the D-Mat towards Ultima, who quickly conjured a portal to suck the beam in before it instead hit a random planet courtesy of another portal, wiping it from existence. Before Oscar could react, Ultima telekinetically wrenched the weapon out of his grasp, tossing the golden replica into deep space. Absorbing solar energy into his hands, the kaiju unleashed a blast from both of them at Oscar…
Only for the beams to entirely pass through as the illusion disappeared.
Ultima grunted in surprise, before hearing his foe’s voice behind him.
Oscar: Now I’ve got you.
Suddenly, an ultra-powerful blast ripped into the kaiju, composed of all the energy Oscar could possibly charge up. For the first time, Ultima was greatly damaged as his chest was blown open, the Singular Point roaring in agony. The alien instantly noticed the exposed, glowing core of his opponent, and surrounded it with golden sparks as he prepared to telekinetically crush the blue orb and end Ultima’s existence once and for all.
Oscar: You are powerful, but power can only get you so far. And now that I know your weakness, your power won’t be getting you ANYWHERE. THIS IS THE END!
Ultima was beginning to truly panic as death began to approach him, but he still had one final resort he could pull off fast enough. Right before Oscar could crush the kaiju’s core for good, the alien yelled out as he suddenly felt a great force tear into his abdomen. Looking down, he was shocked to see a singularity manifest in the middle of his body, attempting to unravel him into nothing. The extraterrestrial was stuck in place, having to use all of his power to keep himself together as he channelled the Space Stone to get rid of the relatively small black hole.
A roar and a blood-red glow soon caught his attention before he could do so. When Oscar looked up at the source, any fear he had felt throughout the entire fight was promptly magnified tenfold.
Ultima was charging up a ludicrously bright ball of red energy, so bright that the entire galaxy and beyond was beginning to be bathed in a red tint as reality shook. His body briefly glowed blue, and Oscar despaired as Godzilla’s chest closed up again, protecting his vulnerable core. In desperation, the humanoid tried to teleport himself out or manipulate time, but for some reason, time and space weren’t bending to his will anymore. Ultima’s mere presence, his all-encompassing, higher-dimensional power, was preventing him from doing so.
Oscar was now pinned in place by the black hole, powerless to escape as Ultima finished charging his destructive attack. The kaiju looked up at the gathered energy, which was now over twice his size, before he flung it at Oscar at incomprehensible speeds. The alien was the one panicking now.
No. NO! This couldn’t be! This was his story, he was the hero of the story, and the heroes always win against villains like his enemy! He couldn’t fail now! HE WOULDN’T!
Out of sheer desperation, the trapped Oscar’s body began to fire anything he could think of at the universe-shaking blast, growing extra arms, protrusions, and weapons everywhere as lasers, missiles, plasma shots, fire, ice, solar energy, cosmic energy, and even more were all sent towards the orb of destruction. Each and every attack was swallowed up by the bright glow as it continued to approach, Oscar still continuing to fire even as his efforts proved to be in vain.
Oscar: NO, NO! NONONONONONO! THIS CAN’T BE HOW IT ENDS! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Alas, there was nothing the alien could do before the blast struck him dead on with all its might. The energy swallowed up Oscar as he served as ground zero for the universe-rending blast before the wave of destruction continued to spread. Planets, stars, galaxies, everything was consumed by red in a matter of seconds as reality, space and time were all torn asunder as well. Nothing was spared the catastrophic wrath of Ultima’s final attack, every inch of the universe being erased entirely.
(Fade out music)
Nothing.
There was nothing left. No trace of cosmic matter, no stardust floating around, only an endless, black void. The entire universe was gone without a single trace. Nothing existed where it once was…
Except for a single, glowing being floating in the middle of nonexistence.
Godzilla Ultima let out a victorious roar, which still managed to sound out and echo across the void despite the lack of anything to carry it. Oscar had been completely wiped from reality by his Universal Destruction Blast, gone in every conceivable way. The higher-dimensional being looked around at the empty universe, unperturbed by the level of destruction he had just caused.
One universe was nothing. He was the Catastrophe to all of them. Everything was his to command and control at a whim; he was a veritable god with no one to challenge him.
With his own power, Ultima began to tear open a rip in space-time. Inside, the kaiju could see a wider multiverse, filled with beings battling to the death. This was perfect, just perfect. Now, the Singular Point had an endless supply of worlds to destroy or find amusement in.
This was going to be fun.
With a final malicious, deep laugh, Godzilla Ultima went through the tear in reality, the portal closing behind him as the victorious reality-warping tyrant sent himself to places unknown, heralding nothing but chaos and catastrophe.
KO!
A police box and a blue, glowing humanoid are seen appearing in the nonexistent void where the universe where Oscar and Ultima fought once was, the latter scanning their surroundings.
Conclusion[]
(Cue Godzilla Singular Point | Godzilla’s Theme)
Boomstick: God have mercy on whatever universe Ultima decides to visit next, because let’s face it, he sure as hell won’t!
Wiz: This was, no joke, a surprisingly close fight. With both of their abilities to warp space and time on a whim and their penchant of delivering devastating attacks, Oscar and Godzilla Ultima seemed to match each other blow for blow.
Boomstick: Oscar was faster via scaling to Captain Marvel, but with his time manipulation and teleportation, it’s likely Ultima could keep up. What was really important to this debate however was Ultima’s higher-dimensional existence, which allowed him to be above his golden foe in many different aspects.
Popup: Aditionally, Captain Marvel’s feat really only equates to her travel speed.
Wiz: Ultima’s mere presence twisting space-time and the extradimensional properties of Archetype, along with his ability to manipulate the former, meant most of Oscar’s more useful tricks would be cancelled out or prove outright ineffective on Ultima. Attempting to manipulate his form, rewind him in time or trap him somewhere else simply wouldn’t work on the account that Ultima’s true form just doesn’t have to conform to the laws of reality.
Popup: The nature of Godzilla Ultima’s true form would also likely make him immune to any mind manipulation, given how SlicK and the Singular Point novels describe him as an all-seeing, possibly omnipotent/omnipresent god.
Boomstick: But it wasn’t just that; Oscar’s scaling was also way lower than Ultima’s. Sure, possessing the full power of the MCU Infinity Gauntlet and managing to eat the Infinity Stones is no small feat by any means, but Ultima was able to not only trade blows with Marvel Godzilla, who can somewhat scale to the 616 Avengers, but he could match Godzilla in Hell, who outright destroyed the God Mountain and the Gate Monster with a single, empowered blast!
Wiz: Considering the Gate Monster is likely an opposite to God, this means Godzilla in Hell can consistently match beings who are at the very least universal levels of power! And with Singular Point’s cosmology and talk of multiple dimensions, the gap between Oscar and Ultima’s respective levels of power would only widen, especially when the MCU’s multiversal scope shouldn’t be applicable to feats the former scales to.
Boomstick: “But Boomstick,” I hear you all say, “what if we only used feats from their respective videos?” Well, believe it or not, that would just give Oscar even less of a chance! Toon Sandwich’s versions of characters are consistent victims of anti-feats, dying to things their normal counterparts could likely survive. From War Machine and Doctor Strange being killed by normal bullets, to Thor and Hela dying from a single stab, or Superman being beat up by a Hulk who got killed from being stepped on by Optimus Prime, Oscar’s recreations of characters are consistent pros at dying waaaay too easily! The best on-screen feat shown by any character would be Ego creating a massive planet in Fanfictasia. Impressive, but…
Popup: Other examples of anti-feats include the Tripod from War of the Worlds dying to a single sneeze, Mark 46 Iron Man’s head being crushed by the Terminator and a complete Infinity Gauntlet not affecting a normal Jean Gray in any way when she puts it on. Additionally, Oscar’s recreations are also quite different from their canon counterparts in a few ways (e.g. most being way too focused on cracking jokes, Bruce from Jaws being able to swim in sand, the Tripod’s ray only being able to disintegrate clothes once in a quick gag), meaning it’s also debatable if these recreations should receive canon scaling at all.
Wiz: …the GODZILLA BATTLE ROYALE duology has shown several more impressive feats. Aside from Ultima’s final attack holding enough power to destroy the universe, which SlicK himself confirmed in a comment, you also have Burning Godzilla breaking his way out of a singularity, Millennium Godzilla blasting a weakened Godzilla Earth into pieces through an energy overload, Ultima blowing up the moon and sucking in multiple stars with a black hole, and Marvel Godzilla being able to slam down Burning Godzilla and pick him up so fast, rocks were shown to be suspended in mid-air. With only video feats, Ultima would demolish Oscar in power and keep up even more in speed.
Boomstick: But wait! Ultima was felled by Burning Godzilla, a much weaker foe! With his speed advantage, wouldn’t Oscar be able to defeat him in much the same way by destroying his core?
Wiz: Admittedly, with Oscar’s power and speed, there were more than a few scenarios where he could successfully pull this off, and his specific weakness to gold was much harder to discover in comparison. However, what really screws him over is his tendency to arrogantly underestimate his foes, and his lack of experience fighting beings on the same level of power as he is.
Boomstick: Let’s clear the air around the latter first. You might be surprised to hear that we’re saying this considering Oscar fought Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet and Doctor Manhattan… until you remember that he basically just took the easy way out rather than actually overpowering them. He just blocked a single blast from Thanos before nabbing the Gauntlet, and gave the Doc self-loathing to make him give up fighting him and focus on eating sweets instead.
Wiz: However, as we previously established, Oscar’s hax would likely prove ineffective on Ultima. On the other hand, we’ve never actually seen the trophy villain resist hax, so while he might still be able to with his own reality warping, he’d have a much harder time doing so than Ultima would. Not to mention, he hasn’t shown the ability to regenerate wounds, unlike Ultima. This meant that in order to defeat his foe, Oscar would have to rely on sheer power… which has its own flaws.
Popup: Oscar being affected by every Harry Potter wizard casting Reducio on him to shrink him down from a giant size further suggests that he is, in fact, not immune to hax.
Boomstick: The only things that were able to blow open Ultima’s chest were a divine-powered blast from Godzilla in Hell, which destroyed the God Mountain, and Burning Godzilla’s Infinite Heat Ray. For the latter, SlicK said in a comment that not only was Burning’s Heat Ray growing in power every time he used it, but it was only able to grow powerful enough to injure Ultima because it was reflected off of the crystal shields in front of him.
Wiz: This meant that Oscar would have to rely on his full power in order to damage him sufficiently, which he wouldn’t do from the get-go. Admittedly, both Oscar and Ultima can be pretty egotistical at extremely inconvenient times, and both have the intelligence to be able to deal with those they perceive as threats quickly and efficiently. The key difference is how exactly they go about doing it.
Boomstick: While both would definitely realize how dangerous the other is, Oscar would likely try some hax which just wouldn’t affect Ultima at all. Meanwhile, Ultima could use his own hax which would prove more effective, destroy Oscar with sheer power, or just seal him in a plane of non-existence. Even if it wouldn’t contain him forever, it would at least buy Ultima more than enough time to set something up.
Wiz: What we’re saying is by the time Oscar realizes that Ultima isn’t a threat he can just disarm in any of his usual ways, the Godzilla variant would be multiple steps ahead of him already. The latter really only drew out the killing blow against Burning due to his hatred and sadism blinding him and his perception that Burning wasn’t powerful enough to match him. Against a foe like Oscar, Ultima would be much more in a rush to dispose of him, meaning Oscar would be unable to gain an edge until it’s too late.
Boomstick: And sure, considering the Doctor was in the Super-Showdown-Bowl, you could argue that Oscar could just pull out the D-Mat or the Moment and be done with it. However, not only was the recreation of the 10th Doctor never shown to have these items, with them not even appearing in the vault of powerful artifacts in the sequel series Fanfictasia, but again, it’s unlikely Oscar would pull them out before it was too late.
Wiz: And one more thing to address in terms of Oscar’s scaling: yes, it is true that he has recreations of other powerful characters in the other arenas he’s created, including Goku, Sailor Moon, the Dragonborn, DC Animated Movie Darkseid, Scooby-Doo, Bugs Bunny, and SpongeBob SquarePants, some of whom could scale higher than Ultima and have more efficient hax; however, not only was he never shown using any of their abilities in his fight against the live-action warriors, but there’s also the previously-mentioned argument of whether they should be scaled to their canon counterparts. Heck, in Fanfictasia, Sailor Moon was outright murdered just from being stabbed. With all this in mind, Oscar really didn’t have the power necessary to compete with his godly foe.
Boomstick: Oscar was a quick foe with a shit-ton of powers and weapons, but in the end, with his higher, more consistent scaling, superior hax, dimension-rending existence, and more efficient ways of dealing with equals, Godzilla proved to be the Ultima Warrior. With how much entertainment he gets from fights, I’m sure he found this Showdown… Super golden.
Wiz: These puns man, I just can’t… ahem. The winner is Godzilla Ultima.

Soundtrack Concept[]
- The original track for this would be called “Ultima Showdown”, making a pun on Ultima’s name and, on Oscar’s side, referring to both his declaration of the winners of his royale as the “Ultimate Hero/Villain/Warrior”, and the name of the Super-Showdown-Bowl. This could also be seen as a reference to The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny by Lemon Demon, another well-known internet video which features fictional icons, including Godzilla, battling to the death in a royale.
- An alternative title would be “Die For My Amusement”, referring to Oscar and Ultima’s sadistic enjoyment of characters across fiction killing each other in their respective royales, and their willingness to just do the job themselves if things go south.
- The track cover features the Academy Award Oscar is based on in the middle, surrounded by Ultima’s glowing Molecular Ray rings. To the sides, two blue beams can be seen, which can either be interpreted as the tractor beams Oscar uses to transport combatants to and from his Golden Globe, or Atomic Breath beams like those of most Godzillas. Ultima’s Red Dust can also be seen covering everything.

Trivia[]
- This is GodzillaFan8889’s first off-season battle.
- The connections between Oscar and Ultima are:
- Fan-made versions of iconic things (the Oscar statue and Godzilla Ultima) from fight-themed animation web series who orchestrated a massive battle royale between characters from across the multiverse that fit a specific category (live-action/movie characters and versions of Godzilla) simply for their own amusement. Said characters were divided into two sets (heroes and villains fighting in separate battle royales and Ultima bringing in another set of Godzillas after most of the ones from the first part of the Godzilla royale died)
- Both initially chose to hold back with their power (Oscar only staying in his Golden Globe even when the heroes and villains stepped up to challenge him and Ultima sticking with an avatar), but after being pushed far enough, they decided to go all-out against those who defied them (Oscar coming down from the Globe after it was shot to fight the heroes and villains themselves, and Ultima entering his true form to get rid of Burning Godzilla once and for all)
- Both are extraordinarily powerful god-level beings with the power to warp reality and unleash devastating attacks against their foes. With this power, they were able to outright humiliate some of the strongest fighters in the rosters of their respective royales, even when they decided to set aside their differences and fight against them
- Both decided to deal with an opponent that was able to match or even exceed them in power via an unconventional method (Oscar gave Dr. Manhattan self-loathing to make him lose the will to fight and Ultima banished Godzilla in Hell to another plane of existence, trapping him), though said methods didn’t last forever (Dr. Manhattan was eventually restored to normal after Oscar’s death and GiH, according to SlicK will eventually break out of his prison)
- However, their arrogance and underestimation of their seemingly-weaker opponents proved to be their downfall, as after a specific weakness of theirs was discovered (Oscar being able to be hurt by gold and Ultima having a core in his chest), they were defeated by someone who they perceived as inferior to them in every way (Ant-Man feeding Oscar the One Ring by jumping into his mouth and Burning Godzilla blasting Ultima right in his core), causing them to go out in a brilliant explosion
- Both fought Monsterverse Godzilla
- As for contrasts, while Oscar didn’t intend to fight the heroes and villains at first and simply wanted to continue presiding over their fights for as long as he could, Ultima willingly entered the royale he himself orchestrated to fight in it directly
- This matchup was, surprisingly, not meant to coincide with Godzilla Minus One being the first Godzilla film to receive an Oscar nomination, although I will acknowledge it is a huge coincidence.
- Minus One being the only other Godzilla to attack Oscar and get his attention is meant to be a reference to this.
- Update: Minus One actually won and took the Oscar home!
- This is the fastest GodzillaFan8889 has completed a full battle.
- Specific abilities/weapons for Oscar I wanted to include but couldn’t fit in include:
- The Thing (John Carpenter)’s shapeshifting (specifically the stomach mouth and tentacles)
- The Dalek’s gunstick
- MCU Spider-Man’s webs
- Sean Connery James Bond’s rocket cigarette
- The Martians (Mars Attacks!)’ laser gun
- Jay and Kay (Men in Black)’s plasma weapons
