Oberyn fights with a large spear, and is regarded as one of the most skilled warriors in all the Seven Kingdoms. He was able to subdue the infamously strong Mountain that Rides during the second Trial by Combat of Tyrion Lannister, using his speed to his advantage. However, his ego and his monologue proved to be his unfortunate undoing.
