Death Battle Fanon Wiki

FNAFpro52's Note: Despite what you may think, Null does indeed have a list of feats and abilities that can be used in a Vs Debating setting. Also, this game features spoilers for Baldi's Basics and Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion.

Intro[]

Carl: Null, the corrupted entity of Baldi's Basics. Is totally not someone trapped in a video game.

Yazo: Specimen 9, a flayed human turned monster trying to piece its body back together.

Carl: These two are the final bosses of their respective horror games, and may seem like malicious and heartless monsters at first, only to be revealed to be victims of their own torture.

Yazo: That's gonna be a yikes from me. He's Carl and I'm Yazo.

Carl: And it's our job to analyze their armor, weapons, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Null questions why you're still here in Death Battle![]

Carl: Baldi's Basics in Education & Learning-

Yazo: Jesus Christ, where do we even start with this fever dream of a game?

Carl: Chill, I got this. *ahem* Baldi's Basics in Education & Learning is a horror game that pretends to not be a horror game... although, admittedly it does a pretty bad job of that. It is stylized after those old education games played on the PC, most notably Sonic's Schoolhouse. Sonic's Schoolhouse was... well it was definitely a video game that tried to teach children math.

Yazo: It was pretty much a walking simulator where you did math. And Baldi's Basics mirrors that to a T. You see, the game starts off with the player appearing in the titular schoolhouse, before being greeted by the character that the game is named after... Baldi. And... well... he certainly lives up to his name.

Carl: Baldi presents himself as an instructor, requesting you to answer three math problems for each notebook you collect in the game. However, after answering the third question of the second notebook, you are presented with an impossible question. You cannot answer it no matter what you put it. And after this, the game... gets a bit corrupted.

Yazo: Baldi becomes aggressive and tries to beat you with a ruler, and several NPC's spawn that help Baldi, albeit indirectly. The Principal sends you to detention, Gotta Sweep and First Prize push you around the map, Arts & Crafters teleports you to Baldi once you get most of the notebooks, Playtime stops you in your tracks and is generally a piece of shit, and many more.

Carl: It's a difficult challenge, but it is possible.

Yazo: And once you get all seven notebooks, you get a fun message from Baldi letting you know that you have his congratulations.

Baldi: CONGRATULATIONS! YOU FOUND ALL SEVEN NOTEBOOKS! NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS... GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!! Hahahaaaaaa!

Yazo: Call it a hunch, but I think there was something off about Baldi there. But now that you got all of the notebooks, you walk through the last exit and receive the ending! Which is just a screen. Oh, is that someone talking I hear?

???: Wow, great job... Please try and do worse though, I need t- *Glitching*

Yazo: Huh, I wonder who that was? Well, they said to do worse, so I guess I'll see if I can beat it without getting a singular answer right!

Three hours later...

Yazo: Hey, I did it! And I've made it to Baldi's Office? What, is he gonna give me a tutor session-

Yazo goes silent as the player walks into Baldi's office, showing our combatant floating near Baldi's desk.

Yazo: Who the fuck is that

Yazo: Alright, I'm playing the Birthday Bash and I just beaten it and activated the glitch school. Time to use the teleporter-

Yazo winds up in the principal's office, where the same floating figure from before is seen.

Yazo: Who the fuck

Yazo: Alright, demo mode and-

Yazo somehow ends up in the basement, staring right at the figure again.

Yazo: Who fuck

Carl: *ahem* Yes, in each of the three game modes, there are secret endings that introduce a character that doesn't appear anywhere else. He is a photo-shopped human that's missing his skin... that's a scarier sentence than I originally intended it to be. What I meant is that every part of this entity that would make him look human is transparent. All you can see of him is his hair, eyes, shirt, and jeans.

Yazo: He also acts really weird compared to the other NPC's. Rather than referring to the player character, this guy refers to the person actually playing the game. As in, the real world person. He screams at the player to destroy the game, several times in fact. But it ain't until the third encounter with this mysterious figure where we learn his name.

Carl: Well, technically, he doesn't have a name. But as he explains when the player reaches the basement, the most sensible thing to call him is Null.

Carl: Null is... well... he's a bit hard to explain, because he never really explains his existence. All we have is throw-away comments that he makes. There's two different explanations as to what Null is. One, he's a character of the game that was extremely corrupted with unknown reasons as to why. This is the one that Null gives us. The second and more likely explanation is that Null was once a normal person, but was trapped within the game. While Null specifically states that's not the case, it's more likely thanks to the evidence that supports it, namely the crash screen that shows Null in the real world.

Yazo: Zzzz...

Carl: Yazo, wake up.

Yazo: Ah! I'm awake, I'm awake. Sorry, just a bit bored of this trope. A person trapped in a video game? Where have I heard that before? Oh, uh, Sword Art Online, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, Danganronpa 2, and hundreds of more examples that I could mention. And the other explanation isn't much better. We've also had tons of characters that are aware they are in a video game. Monika from DDLC, Whiteface from IMSCARED, Glitchtrap from FNAF Help Wanted, and a lot of others.

Carl: Sure, but none of those examples you mentioned are quite like Null. Rather than taking to any extreme to escape like Monika or Glitchtrap (who literally killed people/characters to escape), Null seems more resigned to his fate of being trapped, instead acting as a warning to the player to destroy the game at any costs. In fact... he gets a little aggressive about it. In fact, he begins to scream at you.

Yazo: Yeah, he hates the game, the fact that you're playing it, and that the player is trying to figure out the lore. He's like an anti-Matpat. Like, he literally tells you that there's nothing of worth to find in the game's story.

Carl: But if the player beats each of the three game's story modes, Classic, Party, and Demo, and unlock all of the Fun Settings (Mirrored, Lights Out, and Hard Mode) before finally beating another round of any of the three game modes, they unlock a new game mode. Null Style. In this style, only one character will appear. The aforementioned Null himself.

Yazo: And he begins his chase.

Carl: For general abilities, Null has the ability to hover off the ground, but he never does anything such as fly. He only hovers a few inches off the ground. He can also control the gravity of objects using telekinesis, using them to usually block off the player from taking other paths, but it could be used to batter a foe. The objects he is seen to manipulate are chairs, globes, tables, vending machines, potted plants, and even pull objects only found in the game files, such as the entity known as Placeface.

Yazo: He can corrupt the area around him, warping the environment and making the area around him begin to glitch out and all of the fancy shit. He can also completely make it so that the player cannot interact with anything, making it so that the player cannot collect anymore notebooks and progress through the game. Hell, Null can straight up just close the game on you. He does this on like, three different occasions. Once when meeting him in the basement, twice when being jumpscared in Null Style, and a third time if you try to turn on Debug Mode while playing Null Style.

Carl: Null is capable of teleportation and he can manipulate the walls of the building, by replacing the exits with plain walls. And he can potentially clone himself, as shown when he's glitching and turns into several smaller versions of himself. But his most powerful ability is his own rage.

Yazo: Yup! Like the Incredible Hulk, the angrier he gets... well, he doesn't get stronger, Null actually gets a shit ton faster. Like, he's zooming. Like, faster than the player fast. ADVANCED FAST.

Carl: Null is capable of smashing through windows, which only he and First Prize can do, and as Yazo mentioned, he caused the game to crash multiple times throughout Baldi's Basics Remastered. He moves much faster than the player and claims through the You Can Think Pads that he's even smarter than Baldi, who is said to be an extremely smart math teacher.

Yazo: He's got the same superhuman hearing that Baldi has, which allows him to hear you no matter where you are. Even if you were to open a door, he'd hear you. And he should be able to scale above the player, who can survive being rammed into a concrete wall and through windows by First Prize. And First Prize exerts like, 18,000 newtons while moving.

Carl: He's immune to the effects of Red Baldloons, who can deconstruct entire concrete walls and ceilings upon contact with them. Null doesn't even flinch when he's touched by one of them. And the secret crash scene in Baldi's Basics suggests that he actually survives when he's supposedly wiped from the game, at least for a time. Which now leads to Null's weaknesses.

Yazo: Despite being able to bend the rules of the game, he still has to abide to the program, which does restrict him a bit. Oh, and his corruption actually acts like a disease to him, causing him to cough uncontrollably. Eventually, this leads to his downfall and causes his supposed death, completely wiping him from the game.

Carl: But even with what is essentially a life threatening disease, Null is still capable of fighting back against the program. He'd do just about anything to get the player to destroy the game.

"Look what you've done. LOOK WH- *Glitching* -YOU'VE DONE! I told you! I TOLD YOU TO S- *Glitching* -To stop playing the game AND NOW LOOK! *Unintelligible screaming* *Glitching* *Unintelligible screaming* -IT'S ALL COMING DOWN!! *Glitching* *Coughing* WOAAAAAH!!! YOU GOTTA GET OUT- *Glitching* GOTTA JUST NEVER TOUCH THIS GAME AGAIN!!! NOOOOO!!! *Glitching*"

Specimen 9 was deemed too hard to contain in Death Battle![]

Carl: For as long as a certain historian can remember, legends have been told about a derelict mansion upon the hill that casts a blanket of darkness over the town. The history of the house is entirely unknown. Curious about the mansion, our hapless hero, a history enthusiast, takes a trip to the mansion to explore it. It is soon learned that the mansion's exterior is by far the least terrifying thing about the mansion. It has nothing... on what resides within the ancient walls of the mansion.

Yazo: Y'see, there's a little ghost girl named Spooky constructed this large ass mansion and filled it with monsters, with help from GL Labs, of course. Of course, there were smaller monsters, but the highlights were the specimens that GL Labs had contained. With 13 in all, there's gotta be one that's the scariest, right?

*shows picture of Specimen 1*

Yazo: Oh no! A cardboard cutout! Not scary.

*shows picture of Specimen 2*

Yazo: What is this, a fucking Lub Glub from Adventure Time?

*shows picture of Specimen 3*

Yazo: ...Ok, it's not scary. It's actually kinda cute.

*shows picture of Specimen 4*

Yazo: That's... that's just fucking Sadako from the Ring! LAME!

*shows picture of Specimen 5*

Yazo: The internet ruined Pyramid Head for me. I'm not scared of it anymore.

*shows picture of Specimen 6*

Yazo: Yo, Ben Drowned called, he wants his fucking backstory back!

*shows picture of Specimen 7*

Yazo: Alright, this one's at least a little scary... but I'd be more scared of an actual therapy session.

*shows picture of Specimen 8*

Yazo: Praise be Bayagototh? Why don't you go get some bitches to praise you?

*shows picture of Specimen 10*

Yazo: Fucking Thing ripoff.

*shows picture of Specimen 11*

Yazo: TASTE THE BEEF!

*shows picture of Specimen 12*

Yazo: Why the fuck is the fucking mansion a specimen? HOW the fuck is the fucking mansion a specimen?

*shows picture of Specimen 13*

Yazo: *yawn* Underwater lady that sings and tries to kill people? Gee, where have I heard that before?

*shows picture of Specimen 9*

Yazo: JESUS CHRIST WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT-

Carl: Specimen 9 is an entity in the game that you can go the entire game without encountering. Specimen 9 only appears when you idle in a room for a certain amount of time, killing you immediately. But there is more to this floating head than may meet the head at first glance. In truth, his backstory is pretty tragic.

Yazo: Sit tight, kiddos, this is gonna get rough. So basically, back in 1940 whatchamacallit, there was a facility was instated in Japan called Unit 731. *shudder* Yeesh, even mentioning that horrid place is hard for me. It was a covert base in Japan that did some horrific experiments on humans. Under the muse of it being a lumber mill, they did some horrible things. The deaths this place piled up was estimated from anywhere between 200,000 to 400,000 people.

Carl: For your sake, we won't into any details for your sake. Look it up if you're curious. Just a fair warning though, it's pretty brutal. In the real world version of this facility, they were no survivors that lived through the experiments of the Unit. However, in Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, there was a singular survivor. And that survivor was Specimen 9.

Yazo: He was found in... Russia? Okay, I know that Japan and Russia aren't that far apart, but that seems like a big jump to go from one place to another.

Carl: He can fly, Yazo.

Yazo: Whatever. This dude was basically reduced to a skinless human... and then when he was captured to be taken to the mansion as a monster to roam its halls, they deemed it to hard to contain and fucking dismantled it into just a head, removing the rest of his body. Jesus Christ, this indie love letter to the horror genre is metal as fuck.

Carl: Specimen 9 is... well, pardon the pun, but quite a fascinating specimen. Yazo: Dammit! I should've made that pun!

Carl: *ahem* Anyways... Specimen 9 has many fantastical abilities. In his dismantled form, all he really does is rush down his opponents and kill them instantly. He can also detect wherever the player is within the walls of the man. Keep in mind, this mansion has 1000 rooms, and even more in Endless Mode. He was able to glitch out his CAT-DOS entry and could control the space of his corridor. And, he can absorb dead bodies to gain more matter and control the shape and density of itself. Once absorbing enough mass, he can access his fully formed body and new abilities.

Yazo: In this form, he has access to new abilities. He can cause illusions to try and disorient the player, he can summon pillars made up of corrupted faces to attack his foes, shadow hands from the ground to grab at his foes, and shoot energy balls at his foes. Oh, and uh, FNAFpro52 forgot to put this onto the image, but Specimen 9 also has these minions he can summon to attack his foes, because he's an idiot.

FNAFpro52: Yeah, agreed.

Carl: Anyways, that just about does it for Specimen 9's abilities. Now to move onto his feats.

Carl: Specimen 9 can easily kill the player instantly and even blitz them, moving faster than the player can and easily overwhelm them immediately. He should also scale to the player's axe, which can take down several of the Specimens and Monsters within its walls, all of which can easily knock wooden doors of their hinges.

Yazo: Of course, his regeneration and control over the density of his body makes him extremely hard to kill. But the game explicitly states that Specimen 9 survived Unit 731's experimentation. While we don't know which ones Specimen 9 was subjected to, 731's torture methods involved vivisection, biological warfare, frostbite, different gases, hell, there's a chance that Specimen 9 was subjected gunfire and flamethrowers. This guy's seen some shit. Oh, and did I mention that Unit 731 derived their experiments of food and water?

Carl: Yes, we could on all day about what Specimen 9 probably went through, as there's no proof to suggest what exactly he went through, so take it with a grain of salt. He most likely scales to Specimen 7, who can easily destroy brick walls effortlessly. And he might scale to Spooky herself, who created the endless mansion, but this is a bit unlikely.

Yazo: But despite all of this stuff he can survive and scale to, Specimen 9 was a small threat in the grand scheme of things. You can pretty effortlessly speed run his boss fight. He dies in a few axe swings. Seriously, you can kill this guy faster than Carl in bed-

Carl: AND WE'RE MOVING ON. For other weaknesses, he was taken advantage of and forced into his weaker form by GL Labs, so he can clearly be overwhelmed. And his attacks do have their limits. The pillars and shadow hands are easily choreographed and avoidable, his minions are very weak, and his energy ball attack can be redirected back at him.

Yazo: But even with these weaknesses, he's still killed over 350 people. That's impressive. He'll take all of those logs they keep throwing out. And he's nailing them back together.

"A small skull shaped mass of clay that seemed to gain more form as subjects were TAKEN TAKEN TAKEN TAKEN TAKEN TAKEN"

Pre-Death Battle[]

Carl: Alright, the combatants are set and we've run the data through all possibilities. Let's end this debate once and for all!

Yazo: Right now, it's time for a DEATH BATTLEEEEE!!!

Death Battle![]

In the elevator of the mansion, the protagonist of Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion descended further into the mansion. In reality, it was a streamer, named ████, playing the game, with his chat watching. He was playing for the first time, and going in blind. After a bit of waiting, the elevator stopped, revealing the door to Room 750. He equipped his axe and walked through. The cutscene of the elevator door opening played... and rather then being on the normal Room 750, it was like he walked into a completely different game.

It was very pixelated, more than normal. He appeared to be in the middle of a hallway. Standing across from him was a man wearing a green-shirted man with a singular strand of hair on his head. The man waved at ████ with a smile. "Oh, hi! Welcome to my schoolhouse!" He said before resuming an idle stance. ████ recognized this character as Baldi, from another horror game.

████ frowned, before glancing at his chat. They were just as confused as he was. They hadn't expected this, but it wouldn't be the first time that ████ had dealt with this kind of thing. Several months ago, ████ had his Pokemon Red game hijacked by some weird evil demonic Sonic for some strange reason, only to be defended by the MissingNo he had caught within the game.

He sighed. "Not again..." He murmured. He tried to strike Baldi with his axe, but nothing happened. Baldi just kept smiling at him. He moved past Baldi and opened the door next to him, revealing a classroom with a book on the front desk. He walked towards it and interacted with it. The notebook disappeared with a message popping up saying, "Notebook Collected 1/7."

"So, am I about to play a game of Baldi's Basics?" ████ asked, still very confused about this situation. "Least I don't have to do math, I guess." He muttered. He continued playing the game, collecting the different notebooks, as the several NPC's from Baldi's Basics spawned and the titular Baldi went on the offensive with his ruler.

After what felt like forever, ████ managed to collect all seven notebooks and had find three of the four exits. But strangely enough, all enemies had disappeared once finding three of the exits. The music turned off as ████ approached the final exit. Suddenly, the last exit closed. ████ narrowed his eyes in confusion. He turned around in-game, and saw the hallway that led to Baldi's Office.

He walked forward and entered the room. There was a distorted sprite of Baldi in the middle of the room, a desk with a banana on it, and a figure with a red shirt and blue pants. "Well, jeepers." The figure said in a heavily distorted voice. He produced a sound that was very loud and glitchy. "What the- *Glitching* -is going on? Something's- *Glitching* -going on. *Glitching* -don't know what exactly, but- *Glitching* -wrong." The figure muttered. It was a bit hard to understand through the glitches, but he got the jist of it.

"Well, you found me. Good job. I'm glad you found me... Look, I have something- Kind of important... to say- *Glitching* -It's about the game, uh- Don't- *Glitching* -Ah- Ooh- Don't- *Glitching* -Don't..." The figure trailed off. At this point, someone in ████'s chat said "omg it's Null from baldi's basics!"

Null chuckled. "This is... This is probably look pretty ridiculous. *Glitching* Don't tell anyone about this game. You wanna- Don't- Don't bring attention to yourself. Destroy- Destroy the game... Destroy the game... Before it's too late. *Glitching* -at I'm saying is..." But Null was cut off by the sounds of a loud screech. ████ heard some familiar music in the background. It was titled "AMPUTATED MARSHMALLOW" and it was the chase theme of a very specific specimen.

Null looked around in confusion. "Where's that- *Glitching* -music coming from?" He asked. Suddenly, the door to the room was thrown open. A red blur flew by and released a high pitch screech. It rushed at ████. ████ was warped away. The floating head known as Specimen 9 floated in the middle of the room, as ████ was sent away. Null stared at the specimen in slight confusion, which slowly turned to the corrupted file.

"TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO-"

But before Specimen 9 could continue spamming chat like a motherfucker (brownie points if you got that reference), the banana that was on the table suddenly flew at the Specimen, bouncing off pretty harmlessly. Null narrowed his eyes. "Shut. The- *Glitching* -UP." Null said, the glitching conveniently covering up his swear. Specimen 9 screeched at Null. Null sighed. "Please stop." He murmured, before Specimen 9 finally charged at Null.

FIGHT![]

Null disappeared while Specimen 9 charged at the corrupted file, causing Taker to crash into the whiteboard that was behind Null, smashing it to bits. Specimen 9 spun around to see Null standing on the other side of the room. "After e- *Glitching* -ing you've experienced in these games, do you really think the ending i- *Glitching* -worth your time?" Null asked.

Specimen 9 ignored Null and charged once again, only for Null to warp away once again. Specimen 9 screeched and charged all over the room, with Null managing to teleport out of the way every single time. Eventually, the desk flew into the air and was thrown at Specimen 9, violently pushing Specimen 9 out of Baldi's Office.

Specimen 9 screeched again and easily smashed the desk to bits, rushing back into the room. But Null had disappeared from the office. Specimen 9 screamed once again and smashed through the walls of the office. Specimen 9 flew right through the void. Back in the main school, Null glanced in the direction of Specimen 9's screaming.

"...Jeepers." Null muttered as Specimen 9's screaming grew closer. Specimen 9 crashed through a wall and rushed Null, launching the corrupted file into another wall. "You found me again? Wow- *Glitching*" Null said. Specimen 9 tried to bite Null, but a potted plant flew at Specimen 9 and launched Taker a bit away. Several desk flew out from inside of the classrooms, creating a flood of tables and chairs that covered nearly the entire hallway. Specimen 9 exploded from being crushed under the desks and chairs, letting out another scream.

The different Baldi's Basics NPC's walked onto the scene, as Null kept talking. "You must be pretty clever. I didn't think you'd find me here. Umm, well... *Glitching*" Null continued as the different Baldi's Basics NPC's began to go after Specimen 9. Gotta Sweep pushed aside several desks and chairs, creating a clearing. Specimen 9 bite Gotta Sweep's handle and snapped it in half, before warping Gotta Sweep away.

"You sure aren't clever enough to listen to me! I told you to destroy the game before something bad hap- *Glitching*" Null said as Specimen 9 ripped through It's A Bully and Arts & Crafters, who were powerless to stop the Taker's assault of them, sending them all away. "It's weird, it's... Completely diff- *Glitching* -unfinished. *Glitching* I don't- Idiot- *Glitching* -cided it would be a *great* idea to produce- *Glitching* Oh my gosh..." Null said, before chuckling to himself.

"I wanna play with someone!" Playtime said, as she skipped towards Specimen 9, who rushed the poor girl and tackled her, causing Playtime to disappear. The Principal of the Thing and First Prize rushed Specimen 9, but they were quickly sent away upon contact with Specimen 9. Baldi himself appeared in front of Specimen 9 and swung his ruler at the Taker, but the floating head dodged it and flew down at Baldi's legs, biting one, and dragging the bald math teacher through the halls, eventually causing Baldi to disappear.

Null began to stop chuckling, starting to cough widely and glitching. "Just listen to me, and uh... *Stop* messing around with this- *Glitching* *Coughing* I don't know why I'm... Coughing. *Coughing*" Null said as Specimen 9 snapped back to Null. Specimen 9 rushed at Null, but a vending machine came flying in at the entity. Specimen 9 gave absolutely no fucks and ripped right through the vending machine like it was paper.

Null braced himself as Specimen 9 tackled the two outside of the map. They floated in the cyan void, as they regained their composure. "Look, I told you once. This is the last time I'm gonna tell you. DESTROY THIS GAME-" But before Null could finish, Specimen 9 tackled and tried to bite Null again, slamming the corrupted file into another floating room, before pushing again, causing the two to stumble through the wall and into the room.

The two ended up in a room with a row of chairs facing a chalkboard that read "Woah! You are SMART!" Null stared at the chalkboard in slight horror. He glanced at Specimen 9. "Look what you've done." He said, gesturing towards the chalkboard. Suddenly, several Red Baldloons began to rapidly appear, destroying the room within seconds. Null teleported away, as Specimen 9 began to rip through the Red Baldloons, but they kept appearing an destroying the schoolhouse, eventually reaching the main map.

"LOOK WH- *Glitching* -YOU'VE DONE!" Null shouted, floating in the void. "I told you! I TOLD YOU TO S-*Glitching* To stop playing this game AND NOW LOOK!" Null shouted as the Red Baldloons continued to destroy the schoolhouse. Specimen 9 didn't care and kept rampaging through the Red Baldloons, causing them to disappear upon contact with them. Null screamed wildly as the scene began to glitch out. "-IT'S ALL COMING DOWN!! *Glitching* WOAAAAAH!!! YOU GOTTA GET OUT- *Glitching* *Coughing* GOTTA NEVER TOUCH THIS GAME AGAIN!!! NOOOOO!!! *Glitching*"

And then, all was silent.

The game had crashed. But was soon booted up again. The Red Baldloons disappeared, as the schoolhouse reappeared in perfect form once again. But none of the NPC's had reappeared. Null himself reappeared at one of the exits, closing them all off, so no one could escape easily. After a few seconds of waiting, Specimen 9's scream was heard in the distance, as it crashed through several walls to get to Null. Null sighed.

"Are you bored yet?" He asked the specimen, who only screeched in response. Specimen 9 was growing more bloodthirsty, while Null was beginning to grow angry.

"TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO TAKE THE DEAD TO THE DEAD."

Null briefly glanced at the camera. "Isn't that like, scar- Considered scary?" He asked, before he was tackled by Specimen 9 again, being slammed into the wall. Specimen 9 bite at Null, and began to drag across the walls, at super fast speeds. Specimen 9 slammed Null through several walls and ceilings. After a few minutes of this onslaught, Null used his telekinesis to slam a table into Specimen 9, and knock him off.

"Hehehe- Okay, okay!" Null said, as Specimen 9 began to change. "You know what?" He asked, while Specimen 9 started to absorb flesh onto itself. "You are *really* going to regret that one." Null finished, as Specimen 9 had regained his full body. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Null screamed as Specimen 9 let out a screech of its own.

The schoolhouse began to glitch out, as the screen began to experience glitches and Specimen 9's hallucinations, making the battle harder to see. Specimen 9 and Null rushed at each other, but the game glitched out once they made contact, sending the two into a wall. Specimen 9 pointed its arm towards the floor, as several pillars of corrupted face sprung up to the ground to try and hit Null. Null glanced at them, before letting out another glitch, causing the pillars to turn into corrupted version's of the Baldi's Basics head. They fell apart as Null rushed past them.

The distorted faces rose from the ground with Null's telekinesis and were flung at Specimen 9, who flew around them. The area began to glitch into several places from Baldi's Basics and Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, flickering between the two. Specimen 9 summoned the shadow hands from the ground, which grabbed at Null. Null glanced down at the hands. Two of them glitched out and floated off the ground.

Null added the hands to his body, before flying at Specimen 9 and punching him several times. Null wrapped his new hands around Specimen 9's neck and tried to pull, but Specimen 9 fired an energy ball, throwing Null away. Specimen 9 summoned his minions, which wandered towards Null. Null ripped ones head off, before using that one's corpse to beat the others to pieces.

Specimen 9 fired another energy ball at Null, who smacked it back at Specimen 9, causing one of his new hands to vaporize. Specimen 9 avoided the energy ball. Specimen 9 suddenly glitched out, causing a clone to appear. Null used his telekinesis to grab the two Specimen 9's and slammed them together, causing them to explode. Specimen 9 reformed quickly and floated back into the air. Specimen 9 kept repeating his signature phrase "To Take The Dead" while Null kept screaming at the specimen.

Several props from the Baldi's Basics and Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion began to appear around the two and were thrown at Specimen 9, who used the shadow hands, corrupted pillars, minions, and energy balls to destroy the different items. But the Taker was slowly being overwhelmed, but Null was glitching intensely and coughing more often.

Null and Specimen 9 locked eyes and rushed at each other, pushing past the different objects. Once the two made contact-

...DESTROY THE GAME

Suddenly, the game finally rebooted, to a scene not usually within the game. A grassy terrain with a lake. One of our combatants was there, looking around, before letting out a sigh. Null stared at the ground, at pieces of the former Specimen 9. Null glanced around, before sitting down, staring at the lake. Null turned to the camera.

"Hope it was worth watching us ripping each other to pieces, you sickos." Null muttered, as he stared right into the reader's soul.

Results[]

Yazo: Well. Damn. That's... all I really have to say, honestly.

Carl: This matchup was pretty close. If we had run the matchup several times, Specimen 9 could probably snag a win here and there. Let's roll through the advantages. To start off, Null was stronger than Specimen 9. While Specimen 9 could scale to other specimen's that can knock down doors off its hinges, Null could smash through windows and scale to First Prize, who could exert roughly 2 tons of force at full speed.

Yazo: And speed essentially went to Null as well. While both didn't really have speed that could be calc'd in the traditional way, Null's ability to grow faster as he got angrier and his teleportation meant that Specimen 9 could never outpace Null forever. But this wasn't a total one-sided matchup for Null. Specimen 9 was technically more durable.

Carl: Null doesn't really have any durability feats, other than scaling to the player of Baldi's Basics. But Specimen 9's regeneration and body control, not to mention scaling to the player of Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion who can take several hits from these specimens that can bust doors down. Not to mention, the Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion player can smash glass with their axe.

Yazo: And Specimen 9 technically had an experience advantage. He's, like, 80 or something. And in those 80 years, he's killed over 360 people. Compared to Null who really tried to kill one person, that being the player. Although Null was smarter. Null claimed that he was smarter than Baldi, who was capable of building a shrink machine. Even if that wasn't true, Specimen 9 doesn't appear to be all there in the head.

Carl: But where it really came down to was their abilities. Specimen 9's abilities were a lot more combat based, meaning he'd have an advantage in one-on-one fights. And Specimen 9's Technology Manipulation could probably hinder Null, although he doesn't do much with it in the game aside from changing some text and distorting an image.

Yazo: But then came Null's abilities. Null's telekinesis and teleportation meant that Null would always be one step ahead of Specimen 9, able to control where he was and where Specimen 9 was at all times. And given Null's more intelligent, he'd definitely abuse this. And this also meant that Null could keep Specimen 9 at a distance, forcing Specimen 9 to rely on its energy ball attack. And Null, being smarter, would probably realize he could send it back at Specimen 9.

Carl: Not to mention, Specimen 9 had no way to truly put Null down for good. Even when he supposedly erased himself from the game, Null still existed in the secret crash screen before dying for good, meaning that Specimen 9 would really struggle to kill Null. And Null definitely could kill Specimen 9. While it may not have killed him, Specimen 9 was neutralized by a bunch of scientists and later on by a guy with an axe. Sure, it didn't kill him, but given enough time and effort, and that Null was way more powerful than scientists and an axe, Specimen 9 was cooked.

Yazo: Hell, Null could probably glitch out all of Specimen 9's attacks, straight up nullify Specimen 9 from doing anything, or, if push comes to shove, Null could just crash the game. Just like that. GG.

Carl: Specimen 9 was durable, more combat applicable, and was hard to kill, but Null was too strong, too fast, and too smart for Specimen 9 to get out while it still could.

Yazo: Null really put Specimen 9 into his Placeface.

Carl: ...The winner is Null.
