Two intergalactic superheroes that began as simple high school students until they came upon a powerful artifact that grants them power (the broach and the helmet). Both were granted this power by a deceased member of an ancient race (Queen Serenity and Nova Corps elite Rhomann Dey). Both end up joining with other heroes to form teams (Thor and Spider-man for Nova & Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars) before befriending even more like them. Both would go on to become leaders of their own groups of heroes (the Sailor Senshi and the Nova Corps). Both transform into an attire of blue, White, And gold which becomes their trademarks. Both can attack with powerful energy blasts. Both gain upgrades to their powers and appearance over time with every new big threat they face. Both fall in love with a fellow hero who has royal ties (Tuxedo Kamen who is the reincarnation of prince Endymon and Namorita who is the cousin to a king). Both fight threats from on Earth and from the stars in their efforts to uphold justice and peace.
