Introduction[]
Mortician: Whenever you're in a fight most people would rely on speed or strength but there's another attribute that can win only if you're agile about.
Redshock: From doing weird flips and strange maneuvers, you can pretty much dodge and manipulate your opponent just by moving like a crazy gymnast.
Mortician: Like Dick Grayson, the first Robin of the Batman turned Nightwing of Bludhaven
Redshock: And Remy LeBeau, Louisiana Bad Boy turned X-men known as Gambit.
Nightwing[]
Redshock: Dick Grayson was the youngest son of the traveling circus act The Flying Graysons, they were well known acrobats known for their agility and death defying acts. But one day tragedy struck.
Mortician: Dick was forced to watch his family die during a trapeze accident, only it wasn’t an accident. Turns out mobster Tony Zucco was trying to extort money from the circus owner for protection, Dick heard the conversation and the owner refused having Tony to sabotage the Graysons.
Redshock: What a dick, anyway Dick hit the jackpot when he was adopted by billionaire playboy philanthropist, no not Tony Stark, Bruce Wayne. Bruce knew the pain Dick was going through and he wanted to make sure he was taken care of so he adopted the boy and he lived with Bruce. But soon later he would find out the truth that his adoptive father was the crime fighting vigilante of Gotham City, Batman.
Mortician: By winning over the Dark Knight, he convinced Bruce to have him be his sidekick, this would start the long line of Dark Knight Sidekick’s as Robin. As Robin Bruce had trained Dick in several courses, Escapology, Stealth, Martial Arts, and other keen skills in order to be a superhero.
Redshock: Dick was a prodigy, he was already a natural athlete thanks to his time in the circus, but also possessed a peak human level of speed and strength to go along with it from undergoing a vigorous and intensive training regimen under Batman
Mortician: He’s fast enough to dodge sniper bullets, strong enough to overpower break free from Killer Whale’s jaws, and has defeated several well known martial artists like KGBeast, Azrael, Bronze Tiger, Jason Todd, and even Batman in a standstill.
Redshock: Dick has been considered one of the top martial artists in the world knowing at least 10 different martial arts like Aikido, Capoeira, Judo, Ninjutsu, etc.
Mortician: Grayson is also a literal genius. He is a trained detective, with a keen eye and experience in forensics. He is an expert interrogator, and has a very logical mind; he is able to create plans and strategies that effectively take down his opponent. He is also skilled in various sciences allowing him to create his own weapons and gadgets.
Redshock: But the Boy Wonder grew up and quit the sidekick lifestyle, leaving Gotham City and traveled to the nearby Bludhaven City, adopting a new costume and new name as Nightwing.
Mortician: As Nightwing, Dick has several weapons and gadgets on his person becoming a better version of Robin. His main weapons are his Escrima Sticks.
Redshock: Did you just have a seizure?
Mortician: What?! No?!. Escrima Sticks are used in Filipino Martial Arts which is a form of Stick Fighting, Dick uses them for hitting, throwing them around like a boomerang, and for takedowns, but his Sticks can produce up to 50,000 volts of electricity and can turn them into a working bo-staff.
Redshock: His Nightwing suit also has some cool toys, his suit is made out of triple weave kevlar and Nomex allowing him to be flame resistant and bulletproof, and it’s so lightweight he can easily move around in it with zero difficulty.
Mortician: Any sidekick of Batman knows you must need a Utility Belt, with Dick’s he regularly carries smoke pellets, grapple gun, lockpicks, wrist darts, Nightwing’s own custom Batarangs called Wing Dings that ranges from Normal, Electric, Magnetic, Sonar and Heat.
Redshock: Even his mask has tools, his Domino Mask has GPS, thermal vision, and an electromagnetic wave scanner.
Mortician: Dick is no slouch when it comes in taking a punch, he survived a +140 foot drop off a building, getting shot at point blank range, tank several tranquilizer darts to the face, and cannot be affected to Scarecrow’s Fear Gas as his willpower is second to Batman himself.
Redshock: But do you know what his real weakness is?
Mortician: Redheads?
Redshock: No, well, Yes, no he’s still human, he has no superpowers or healing factor so something as simple as a gunshot to the head will end him. He is also reckless and impulsive to prove himself to be better than Batman.
Mortician: But out of all the Robins, Dick Grayson has become the best and coolest superhero after leaving the mantle, if you are ever in Bludhaven, and hope Batman won’t find you, that doesn’t mean another masked Vigilante will find you.
Nightwing “Fuck Batman!”.
Gambit[]
Mortician: Born in the swamps of Louisiana, young Remy LeBeau was abandoned as a baby, and was kidnapped by the New Orleans Thieves Guild after hearing Remy wasn’t just a normal baby, he was a Mutant.
Redshock: Young Remy was raised by the Thieves of New Orleans and taught him the ways of thievery. One day Remy tried to pickpocket an old man, but was caught. Turns out that old man was Jean-Luc LeBeau, the leader of the Thieves Guild.
Mortician: Jean felt sorry for the boy and took him off the streets and raised him as his own son. When Remy was a teenager his Mutant powers manifested, his adoptive family saw him as a monster and disowned by the LeBeaus.
Redshock: With no home, family or friends, Remy relied on his Thievery prowess and his Mutant Powers to become a master thief for hire going by the name Gambit.
Mortician: Remy’s Mutant ability allows him to to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy, thus “charging” that item with explosive results. He often uses playing cards as they are small, flexible, and easy to throw.
Redshock: With this Remy can use them to scramble a person’s senses, break objects apart, and can heal himself with his charged molecules in his body.
Mortician: He is also no slouch when it comes to fighting, Remy is skilled in Savate a french Kickboxing martial art, Street FIghting and Acrobatics.
Redshock: Remy is also skilled with a bo staff, he charges his staff with enough kinetic energy to level a house. He also picked up a new Mutant Ability allowing him to charm the pants off of anyone he talks to but with people with strong will it won’t work.
Mortician: Remy is also a very skilled marksman, with his throwing cards Remy can do all sorts of tricks from hitting an invisible man just by hearing his voice to taking out 3 zombies with a single card.
Redshock: Remy is also pretty durable too, can take punches from the mutant Bishop, getting stabbed by Bullseye, and can hold his own against stronger opponents like Sabertooth, Crossbones, and Juggernaut.
Mortician: But this ragin Cajun has his flaws, he can be easily overpowered by stronger or more skilled opponents like Juggernaut with a flick of his finger, or Mr Sinister with a single energy blast.
Redshock: But this guy is one crazy son of a bitch who went from being a poor thief to joining the X-Men and even bagged himself the power stealing battery baddie Rogue.
Mortician: If you ever see a man with glowing pink eyes and has a Cajun accent, watch your pockets and his hands or you’ll be dealt a powerful hand from Gambit.
Gambit: “This Is Not My Home. I Am Not Thief, I Am Not an Assassin. I Am An X-Man”.

Prologue[]
In the middle of the night in Bludhaven, Nightwing had gotten a tip from a “friend” someone was going to rob an arms dealer.
Nightwing waits while perched on a rooftop and sees three guys selling weapons, then all of a sudden a guy shows up and beats them up with a Bo staff and sends one guy flying with a card. He grabs the weapons and tosses them back in the van.
Nightwing jumped down and saw the assailant “hey buddy whoever you are best leave town this is my city”. The man said in a thick Cajun accent “I’m only visiting, I'm really interested in these, homme”. “Well I can’t let you leave with those”. “Oh I'm not gonna let you do anything to me, connard”. And his eyes flash pink and draw several cards out.
FIGHT![]
Gambit quickly rushes Nightwing with his bo staff and swings it towards his head, Nightwing dodges it and hits Gambit in the ribs twice with his fists and hooks him in the face stunning him. Gambit realities by jump kicking at Nightwing who blocks it with his hand, and Gambit swings his staff again twice with the second swing hitting Nightwing in the back of the head, he front kick’s Nightwing and hits him in the chest with the back of his staff, but Nightwing tucks and rolls away and does a series of backflips away from Gambit as Gambit fires several pink flamed playing cards at him.
They all missed Nightwing as he landed the last backflip he smirked and said “nice trick what are you a magician?”. Gambit readies 6 playing cards three on each hand and says “more like a gambler” and hails the playing cards at Nightwing again, Nightwing does a series of flips, turns and jumps dodging all the cards.
Nightwing grabs his Batons and rushes Gambit, Gambit blocks a series of Nightwing’s strikes but the last three hit him twice in the chest and once in the face each of them giving Gambit a shock of electricity. Then Nightwing jumps on Gambit’s shoulders punching him in the face several times, and flips backwards sending Gambit onto his back.
Gambit gets up and curses something in French and says in English “what are you?” Nightwing couldn’t help himself and replied “Better”. The two clash with Nightwing’s Batons and Gambit’s staff each sparking pink energy and blue electricity, Nightwing manages to dodge an attack and jump kicks Gambit in the face and jump kicks him in the chest sending him a few feet away from him.
Nightwing throws a WingDing at Gambit but it hits a wall next to him Gambit smirks and says “you missed?”, “Did I?”. Nightwing replied and hit the center of his belt releasing a sonic noise temporarily deafening Gambit.
Nightwing rushes Gambit again constantly hitting him with punches and kicks as Gambit couldn’t defend himself, but then he kneed Nightwing in the stomach and headbutts him, he picked up his staff again and imbued it with his pink energy and hits Nightwing sending him backwards towards the van.
Nightwing gets out and says “Ok now you played your cards wrong”, he jumps off the side of a wall and jumps kicks Gambit in the face, he hits Gambit with his Batons several times before disarming his bo staff, he backflip kicks Gambit and throws two WingDings one in his chest the other in his neck, he pushes his belt again and explodes Gambit’s body from the two WingDings, leaving Gambit’s body with a giant hole in his chest and headless.
Nightwing said as he wiped the blood off his face “Nice try pal but the house always wins”, he heard police officers and used his grappling hook and escaped the scene.

Mortician: I’m glad I’m not a gambling man, well not anymore
Redshock: Remy might have been Physically Faster, Stronger, and far more durable than Dick, but Dick pulled out *chuckles* everything to stop the Ragin Cajun.
Mortician: First off, Nightwing was a better fighter having been trained by Batman, one of DC’s greatest martial artists, who Batman admits Dick is the superior fighter between the two.
Redshock: Dick was also way smarter than Remy, sure Remy had street smarts but Dick is on a whole other level than Remy, and Dick was far more Versatile with his Weapons and Gadgets to keep Remy at a distance and only Remy had was a staff and his Cards.
Mortician: And Dick being a trained and gifted acrobat means he could dodge and maneuver his way round Gambit who isn’t as athletic as Nightwing giving him an advantage for defense.
Redshock: With Dick’s Superior Weaponry, Greater Intelligence, Better Versatility, and Expert Martial Arts Prowess had Gambit holding on for dear life but lost all his chips for this fight.
Mortician: The Winner Is Nightwing!
