History[]
While its origin remains unknown, there are a few theories trying to explain who Nightmare is. For example, one says that Nightmare was created as an illusion by William Afton to keep his youngest son from going to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Another states it to be Shadow Freddy. Yet another says that it's actually the Crying Child from FNaF 4 after his death. All we know for sure is that Nightmare is a vicious and sadistic monster which kills for its own pleasure, terrorizing its victims in their dreams.
