Nicole is the proud(?) mother of Gumball and Anais, and wife of Richard, as well as owner of Darwin, though she treats him as if he too was her son. Throughout the series, Nicole has often looked out for her family, no matter how stupid, annoying, and accident prone they all are. When she was young, she was forced to do countless activities by her parents, including martial arts, baseball, chess, violin, and more, all at the same time (Literally). Eventually she met Richard, finding him funny and likeable, until she moved out of her parent's house, and went away with Richard. Eventually it all led up to her having Gumball and Anais.
