History[]
Quentin Beck is former Stark employee and special effects wizard seeking to make a name for himself in the film industry, only to violently lash out when dismissed from an audition for bad acting before being subdued by Spider-Man and arrested. Upon his release, deciding to make better use of his skills as a criminal while wanting to make Spider-Man pay for his interference, Beck decides to beat him at his own game by becoming a better hero. He develops a tech suit that utilizes his hologram tech and weaponized drones to become Mysterio, only to fail n his scheme to frame Spider-Man while replacing him as New York's resident hero.
