Mufasa is the brother of Scar and father of Simba, as well as one of the major characters from The Lion King, and the former ruler of the Pride Lands.

History[]
Once open a time, in the African grasslands, there was a wise king named Mufasa. When he had a son, Mufasa took care of him and named him Simba. But Simba and Nala went into the Elephant Graveyard. Three hyenas chased Nala and Simba. Mufasa arrived just in time and scared the hyenas away. Mufasa and Simba talked for a while. Mufasa said Look at the stars! From there, the great kings of the past guide us. Later, Simba talking with his uncle Scar when a lot of wildebeests that where chased by hyenas appeared out of nowhere. Simba managed to climb up a tree. Mufasa rescued Simba and leapt to a overhanging rock but he was losing his hold. Scar walked up to Mufasa and pushes him into the path of the wildebeests, killing him. Later, Simba has made friends with a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa. Mufasa's voice then is heard in the clouds. Simba returns to Pride Rock and fights Scar. After a while, Simba knocks Scar off a cliff, feeding him to the hyenas below. Meanwhile, the other lions had drove away the hyenas. Mufasa has then made a few appearances in the Lion Guard movies.
