A member of the notorious Fishbone Gang, Nadia Fortune and her fellow thieves met their grisly deaths when attempting to steal the Life Gem from Lorenzo Medici. Fortune only survived because she swallowed the Life Gem and its magic rendered her unable to die. With the Medicis terrorizing her new family in Little Innsmouth to get to her, Ms. Fortune teams with private detective Irvin to avenge her comrades while seeking the Skull Heart to revive them.
