Description[]

Disney vs Saban!  The leaders of two of the most powerful fighting teams their respective universes have ever seen!  Who will win, the powerhouse leader of the Incredibles, or the young and radical leader of the Power Rangers?

Introduction[]

Koopa: Red.  Often representing energy, strength, power and determination, it’s a color that many heroes don to invoke fear into villains and hope in the innocent.

Neo: Or they’re the default outfit color of any superhero ever.  Whichever works!

Bubbles: Mr. Incredible, father of three and leader of The Incredibles.

Koopa: And Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger and leader of the Power Rangers.

Neo: She’s Bubbles, he’s Koopa, and I’m Neo!

Koopa: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win…

Koopa, Bubbles and Neo: A DEATH BATTLE!!!

Mr. Incredible[]

Koopa: In an ordinary world, there are those who are granted gifts unlike no other.  Gifts like strength, speed, otherworldly powers like cryokinesis or telekinesis.  These people are known as Supers.

Bubbles: And no other hero was as respected and beloved by the public eye as Mr. Incredible.

Neo: This man had it all: good looks, incredible power, an iconic suit that drives hope in the innocent and fear into the hearts of villains everywhere!  ...but then he gave up all of that for a boring family life.

Koopa: The former hero eventually retired and settled down with fellow retired superhero, Elastigirl.  The two started a family together, consisting of three kids; one girl and two boys.  While the two thought this would be a great way to unwind after years of crime fighting… it turned out to be the exact opposite, as more and more villains threatened the city.

Neo: But due to the fact that their kids had gained superpowers and seemed to want to follow in their parents’ footsteps, the Parr family became the crime-fighting team known as The Incredibles!

Bubbles: While Bob wasn’t as… in-shape as he was many years ago, he absolutely still retained his immense strength.  Mr. Incredible doesn’t exactly have the most versatile powers, but he hardly needs any.  His red suit is bulletproof, and can withstand up to 1,000 degrees fahrenheit.

Neo: He’s got basically everything you’d need and nothing you don’t in a superhero; super strength, speed, durability and dexterity.  Incredible’s an absolute powerhouse when it comes to punching the crap out of anything and throwing boulders like they’re nothing!

Koopa: He’s strong enough to uproot a tree in mere seconds, stop a speeding train, and implies he can break someone’s back like a toothpick.

Neo: Geez, Disney.  Bob’s also super fast!  He can dodge laser beams from the Omnidroid, dodge lightning and keep up with his own son Dash, who could run on water!  And as for durability, he can survive multi-story falls, getting hit by a speeding train, and get beaten the crap out of by giant robots!

Bubbles: Mr. Incredible is certainly a powerful hero, and was able to successfully defeat powerful villains such as Syndrome and The Underminer alongside his family.  However, that can also be his downfall.  While he was able to handle missions on his own in his hayday, and does do most of the heavy lifting in some situations, most of his victories nowadays couldn’t have been done without help from the other members of The Incredibles.

Koopa: Also, he’s nowhere near invincible.  He’s not exactly combat smart, and has been defeated on multiple occasions, albeit getting right back up and taking a victory shortly after.  Still, even in his middle age, Mr. Incredible remained a symbol of hope for mankind and managed to maintain a healthy relationship with his family in the process.

Mr. Incredible: No matter how many times you save the world, it always manages to get back in jeopardy again. Sometimes I just want it to stay saved!  You know, for a little bit?  I feel like the maid!  "I just cleaned up this mess, can we keep it clean for... for ten minutes?!"

Red Ranger[]

Neo, singing: Go, go, Power Rangers!  De na na na na na na na…

Koopa: Long ago, the evil sorceress Rita Repulsa was freed from her thousand year imprisonment… then immediately attacked Earth.

Bubbles: To combat her power, the sage Zordon sought out five humans to take up the mantle of a legendary warrior group.  Specifically, five teenagers named Jason, Billy, Kimberly, Trini and Zack.  With enough training and the power of teamwork, the five became the intergalactic fighting team known as the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.

Neo: Being a talented fighter and good with leadership skills, Jason was chosen to be the leader, taking up the title of the Red Ranger.  He was already skilled in kenpo, taekwondo and judo, so he naturally had some pretty sick fighting skills from the getgo.  But he gets to put those skills to their full potential when he pulls out that power coin and yells…

Jason: It’s Morphin’ Time!!

Neo: Heh… never gets old!

Koopa: Transforming into a Power Ranger grants Jason enhanced strength, speed and durability.  As well, he and his teammates are connected to the Morphing Grid, which offers the rangers their power and provides protection, only giving out when it’s overloaded.

Neo: It’s kinda like life insurance at all times!

Bubbles: ...Neo, that’s not how that works.

Neo: Aren’t you twelve?

Bubbles, groaning: Anyways, while the Red Ranger is powerful on his own, he does have gadgets and other weapons that can help him out if need be.  And when I say “need be”, I mean literally if absolutely needed, as the Power Rangers aren’t allowed to escalate fights on their own.

Koopa: Regardless, if the need comes to use them, Jason can use some pretty powerful weapons, such as the Power Sword, which can cut through even the toughest of opponents.

Neo: And the award for Most Generic Weapon Name goes to…

Bubbles: The Power Blaster is… well, a powerful laser pistol that can destroy enemies that even the Rangers’ robotic animals have trouble defeating.  He also has a wrist communicator that allows him to teleport.

Koopa: With these weapons and superhuman abilities, the Red Ranger became an impressive fighter and worthy leader of his teammates.  He’s lifted up large boulders, ran fast enough to leave dust flying behind him, dodged lightning attacks by Rita Repulsa and successfully fended her off on multiple occasions.

Neo: He’s even survived multiple explosions, and while there have been durability feats he wasn’t a part of, most Rangers are comparable to one another anyways, so it's plausable that Jason could survive an entire command center explosion!

Bubbles: But Jason has his limits.  The Ranger suit can wear off overtime, and enough damage can turn Jason back into a normal civilian.  While he’s a talented fighter in his own right, it’s nowhere near as powerful as the Rangers.

Neo: Still, Jason proved himself to be a great ranger, and with the power of the Morphin Grid on his si-i-ide, very few can stand in his way!

Jason: So Goldar, how does it feel to be outsmarted by a human?

Goldar: No human has ever defeated Goldar!

Jason: Well, I’m gonna change that!

Interlude[]

Koopa: Alright, the combatants are set, let’s end this debate once and for all.

Neo: It’s time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!

Pre-Fight[]

In the city, two ongoing threats were happening at the same time.  Over by the docks, a transport boat was being held hostage with a bomb set to detonate.  Meanwhile, by the bank, a powerful villain was taking all of the cash, and even with the combined efforts every police squad in the city, nothing could stop him.  In the distance, Mr. Incredible pondered on what to do.  He ultimately decided to go for the boat, since he figured the villain couldn’t get too far.

While the hero was saving innocents, the villain kept taking all of the money.  But suddenly, a teenager ran into the building and suddenly transformed into a red-clad fighter.  As soon as Incredible finished his job, he went over to the bank to help with the villain.  However, as soon as he got there, he noticed the Red Ranger in the bank, not noticing that the villain had already been taken care of.  Incredible stomped in.

Incredible: Stop right there, criminal scum!  You’re under arrest!

Jason looked back and looked around, eventually pointing at himself.

Incredible: Yes, you!  Now you can come quietly or you can come in a body bag.

Red: Did you not see the truck take the guy away?  Take a chill pill, gramps.

Mr. Incredible: Okay, first off, who the heck says "take a chill pill" anymore, and two, don't call me gramps, I'm still in my prime! I don't care if you're just some teenager, I'm gonna put you in your place!

Red Ranger groaned, and took a fighting stance.

FIGHT!

Fight[]

Mr. Incredible dashed forward with a punch, Red Ranger doing the same as the two collided, causing a small surge of wind to blow over some objects.  The two collided a few times again before Red ducked out of the way of a punch and kicked the man back.  Red retaliated with his own series of punches, all hitting his opponent as he ended it with an uppercut.  Mr. Incredible fell back, but quickly got up as he blocked an incoming kick, throwing him against a supporting pillar, partly breaking it.

Red got out of the way of another punch, tackling Mr. Incredible and hitting him against the opposite pillar.  As he went to punch him again, Incredible did the same thing Red did to him, dodging his punch and grabbing Red, throwing him towards the back wall.  Incredible took the front counter and threw it at his opponent.  Red got up and took out his Power Sword, cutting through the counter and posing.

Red: I guess you could say I’m your SWORD enemy!

Incredible: Ugh, not another loudmouth punk…

Incredible went to punch him again, though Red blocked it with his sword and charged forward with the aura of a tyrannosaurus rex surging through him, knocking down the wall and sending the two out to the streets.  The two stood, Ranger ready to fight again as he held his sword.

Incredible: Okay, seriously, not with all of these people here!

Red: Fine.  On top of the buildings!

The two jumped and landed on top of the bank.  Mr. Incredible didn’t waste any time going after Red, punching him and causing him to drop his sword.  Mr. Incredible delivered a flurry of punches, cornering Red to the edge of the building as he teetered.  Incredible went for one last punch before missing completely, Red quickly dodging and wrapping his arms around Bob, suplexing him.  Red went to pick up his sword, but Mr. Incredible grabbed his ankle, causing him to fall.  Incredible got up and grabbed both of his legs and began to spin him around, creating a small tornado as he threw him at a building, his opponent flying through it and the buildings next to it.  He didn’t see him land on anything, so Bob assumed he was done.

Incredible: Well… didn’t know swords were back in fashion.

Before he could jump away, he could see a red figure jumping across buildings, eventually jumping to the bank roof and punching Mr. Incredible on the way down.  He grabbed his sword and slashed at Mr. Incredible.  Incredible barely ducked out of the way, the sword cutting some of his blonde hair off.  He punched Red Ranger away, then did the same thing he did before, grabbing his legs and throwing him away, only this time, he jumped after him.  Jason landed in the park, landing in the fountain as it broke.  Civilians and their children ran away as Mr. Incredible arrived not even a second later.  Jason got out of the fountain, standing and shaking the water off of him.

Red: Well, so much for keeping it away from civilians.

Incredible: Hey, you’re the hoodlum with a sword!

Red: And you’re the old dude who threw a teenager hundreds of feet away!

Before Incredible could retort, he ignored it and dashed, the two colliding fists once more.  The two traded blows, Jason getting in some solid kicks while Incredible delivered strong punches.  Jason kicked Incredible away as he tumbled into a tree.  Bob quickly uprooted the tree while Red Ranger ran at him, hitting him with the tree when he got it out.  Jason flew back, tumbling and landing on a park bench on his back, severely hurting him.  His suit started to short out, sparks flying out of the crevices.  Mr. Incredible carried the tree like a large sword of his own, ready to bring it down on Jason.

Incredible: Looks like you’re down for the TREE count!

Red: Don’t… don’t... Don’t ROOT for yourself!

Incredible went to bring the tree down on Red, but the Ranger’s sword rematerialized in his hands and jumped, slashing through the tree as he roared, bringing the sword down onto Mr. Incredible’s chest.  Red Ranger pulled the sword out and quickly sliced Incredible multiple times before slashing through him and posing, Mr. Incredible exploding behind him, leaving nothing but a puddle of blood.  Jason’s sword disappeared and reverted back to his civilian form, wiping his forehead.

Jason: Phew.  Talk about a close cut.

Post-Fight[]

K.O!

Neo: Damn teenagers nowadays with their puns and energy swords…

Koopa: Both Mr. Incredible and Red Ranger were actually comparable in a surprising number of ways.  The two were around the same speed and survived similar attacks, but when it comes down to it, Jason had everything he needed to put down Bob for good.

Bubbles: The Power Sword was unlike anything Mr. Incredible has had to deal with in the past, and realistically, Red Ranger has fought opponents either on the same level as or stronger than him on multiple occasions.  Despite only really having a few weapons to his name, he already had a much wider variety of weapons at his disposal as opposed to Mr. Incredible’s… fists.

Neo: Yeah, Bob may be strong, but the Red Ranger had plenty of ways of taking him out when the fists just didn’t work.  So while Incredible might’ve been physically stronger than Jason both in terms of brute strength and size, the Ranger had way more to him than just some sick kung-fu moves.

Koopa: And as we said before, Mr. Incredible has done some great things on his own, but most of his victories came from outside help, while many rangers in the past have won battles all by themselves.  In the end, Mr. Incredible just didn’t match up to Red Ranger’s versatility, stamina and mastery of the Power Rangers warrior class.

Neo: More times than not, the Red Ranger REX Mr. Incredible!

Koopa: The winner is Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger.

Next Time on Death Battle![]

Neo: Next time on Death Battle!

???: You've beaten me at my own game

???: Don't flatter yourself. You were never a player to begin with.

Versus…

???: The weak are destined to lie beneath the boots of the strong.

AZULA VS ESDEATH!
COMING JUNE 8TH!

Alternate Ending[]

Jason flew back, tumbling and landing on a park bench on his back, severely hurting him.  His suit started to short out, sparks flying out of the crevices.  Mr. Incredible carried the tree like a large sword of his own, ready to bring it down on Jason.

Incredible: Looks like you’re down for the TREE count!

Red: Don’t… don’t... Don’t ROOT for yourself!

Incredible went to bring the tree down on Red, but the Ranger’s sword rematerialized in his hands and jumped, slashing through the tree as he roared, though Mr. Incredible was able to drop the tree remains and punch Red Ranger in the stomach, causing him to fly upwards as he dropped his sword.  Mr. Incredible winded up a punch as his opponent came closer to him.

Incredible: THIS... IS...  OVER!

As Jason came down, Mr. Incredible punched him through the chest, causing his suit to blink and disappear, revealing the real Jason.  Mr. Incredible took his arm out and let Jason fall to the ground.  Bob looked at his corpse, realizing he had basically just killed a teenager.

Incredible: I'd better get out of here.  This won't look good on the news...
