Moxxie vs The Scout is is a What-if death battle by Hopkins1032, pitting Moxxie from Helluva Boss against The Scout from Team Fortress 2.
Description[]
Team Fortress 2 vs Helluva boss! Which scrawny, gun using contract killer in a group of mercenaries will win?
Interlude[]
B: Ah contract killing, its a good job, makes good money, and its a lot of fun!
W: But what happens if you put a scrawny one with a gang of of them?
B: Then you get The Scout, the fast moving home runner from Team Fortress 2 .
W: And Moxxie, the weapons expert assassin from Helluva Boss.
W: And it's our job to analyze their armor, weapons and skills to find out WHO would win a DEATH BATTLE!
The Scout[]
W: Way back in the 1800s, two brother fought for land inherited by them from there dad. And, they went to war.
B: They created separate teams one being red and the other being blu.
W: And in the red team there was the scout.
B: Scout is the fastest class in the game The scout can outrun sentry gun fire, and sentry guns can lock onto any target they seen in a matter milliseconds.
W: He has some incredible feats aswell, such as:
- Despite being the youngest of his fellow mercenaries, he can still hold his own against them very well
- Defeated Old Nick (An evil version of Santa Claus that kills children) with the aid of Soldier, Spy, and a nameless kid
- Killed a bear with Amelia Earhart's femur while wearing a hot dog costume
- Has fought hoards of robot versions clones of himelf and his team mates along side his fellow mercinaries
- Faces super natural beings such as Merasmus, the Headless Horseless Horseman, and MONOCOLUS every halloween
- Defeated a Heavy in a one on one fight (and took his sandvich!)
- Survived an encounter with a giant loaf of mutant bread and managed to impress Miss Pauling
- Has fought all over the world, in space, and even in hell itself
- Fought off an army of robots and other mercenaries along with his fellow team mates, Ms. Pauling, Saxton Hale, and more
- Met God himself, who admitted that Scout was his gift to the world and that he wished Scout was his son (Though this could have been a hallucination from blood loss since Medic revealed later that he has the souls of his team mates, making them unable to crossover)
B: He has some good feats of strength too!
Strength:
-Fought against the BLU Heavy in a one-on-one fight with only his standard bat and came out on top
-Heavy is strong enough to fight Russian bears larger than himself bare handed and suplex them
-Knocked out a BLU Soldier with just a swing of his default bat
-Can knock out a bear with one hit using Amelia Earhart's femur bone
-The force of the blow also broke the femur bone is two
- Once moved a large hollow shell made of balsa wood and styrofoam the size of Ayers rock with just one hand
- Can hit a Heavy hard enough to make them go flying and kill them
- Once hugged Miss Pauling tight enough to (accidentally) squeeze blood out of her eyes
-Can swing around a wrapped up fish (the Holy Mackerel) as an effective melee weapon
W: Hes pretty intelligent too:
- Like the other team fortress members, he is said to be a genius on the battlefield
- Has been getting into fist fights since he was a little kid
- Has been a mercenary for about 4 years and 6 months and has fought all kinds of enemies
- Has experience going up against other kinds of mercenaries, robots, the undead, and magic beings
- While good with using a bat, he can use anything given to him as a weapon (Such as mutilated limbs, spinal columns, road signs, ect)
- Also has good accuracy with both his fire arms, baseballs, and throwing cleavers
- Often approaches his enemies with hit and run tactics (gets up close, deals damage, and then runs away)
- Despite his hot headed nature, Scout is much more clever than he appears
- Can think strategically even during crucial moments
- Knows how to use his environment to his advantage
- Is good at trash talking enemies and getting under their skin
- Good at adapting and changing tactics when the battle field keeps changing: Was able to keep fighting when Merasmus was warping reality among the battlefield and teleporting him and the other mercenaries into different dimensions
- Has studied etiquette and how to properly treat a lady (though ultimately failed according to Spy)
- Has a degree of knowledge and knows a lot about trials due to having read a couple of law books, and won two trials in which his personal defenders were just the Soldier and a lamp
- Managed to trick spy by taking advantage of his sentiments for his mother
B: He can also double jump, Scout is the only mercenary on the RED Team capable of performing a second jump in mid-air, it allows Scout to get to high areas most mercenaries are unable to reach, avoid attacks more easily, and even negate fall damage is used before touching down after falling from a high height, Depending on Scout's equipped weaponry, his Double Jump can be effected in different ways such as with the Soda Popper equipped, and after building "Hype", allows Scout to perform five additional mid-air jumps on top of his Double Jump. With the Winger pistol equipped, allows Scout to jump 25% higher than without it and with the Atomizer bat equipped, Scout can perform a Triple Jump on top of his Double Jump, although every triple jump sacrifices 10 health points.
W: He can also preform a Home Run Strike:
- Scout's taunt kill that he can perform using a "Sandman" or "Atomizer" (See "Melee weapons" below)
-Scout's signature kill taunt in Team Fortress 2
- Scout points to the sky before winding up his bat
- Has a 4 second wind up time before being executed
- His Home Run swing can send a man flying 25 meters (82 feet) or more
- Home Run swing instantly kills the moment it connects
- Upon a successful hit, the sound of an audience applauding is heard
-Once this taunt is executed:
-Scout will point to the sky, before assuming a batter's stance with the equipped Sandman/Atomizer
-He will then swing the bat into any opponent within range, which will kill them on the spot and send them flying several feet away
-The sound of an audience clapping can be heard if Scout can land a successful hit
B: He has some sick-ass weapons aswell!

W: Overall scout looks like a tough, and invincible opponent, but he has some weaknesses.
B: What? No way!?
W: Yes, he does:
Weaknesses:
- Very weak in terms of durability COMPAIRED to his team mates.
- Some weapons lower his already low durability when equipped/in use.
- Guns have limited ammunition, while other items have a cool down time between use.
- Scared of ghosts.
- Rainbows make him cry (At least according to the spy)
- Likely illiterate

Moxxie[]
B: Hell, the place of all your worst fears and damn-nation.
W: But in hell, there's a place that goes by I.M.P. and its an killing company.
B: And in that company theirs a imp that goes by moxxie.
W; Born with a scrawny body type, moxxie learned to use guns when he had to kill someone.
B: And with this he became a good shot with them and even became a weapons expert.
W: While on his adventures he has acquired and used many weapons:
-A few revolvers,
-a relatively customized handgun,
-an M16 assault rifle,
-a commando assault rifle,
-a crossbow,
-an old fashioned shotgun,
-hunting bow,
-3 mini chainsaws,
-katanas,
-a Tommy Gun,
-a Blessing Tipped Rifle(which can kill demon royalty and explode the souls of any demonic beings).
B: He also has some sick feats:
-Survived a giant explosion
-Survives being crushed by rubble.
-Survives a metal staircase crushing him(it also destroyed a wall)
-Uses his intellect to escape a strangle hold from Striker Can sneak up and steal Striker’s holy rifle without Striker catching on and breaking his pitch
-Survives having his clavicle broken
-Survives being strangled by Striker(who is tied with Blitzo for the number one toughest imp)for long enough to use his location to escape
-Survives being bitten by multiple demon sharks in one day
-Survives being dog piled by large imps on the same day
-Survives a flying elbow to the neck from a demon shark on the same day
-Merely gets hurt temporarily from Millie’s mother punching him(who can probably rip off heads like Millie’s father
-Scales to Millie who can seemingly dodge bullets
-Can run through a forest in seconds
-Can hit a target with a pistol without even looking at it
-Scales to Blitzo who has caught a crossbow bolt mid air casually
-Survives multiple blows from Striker Blocks a bullet after it was fired from close range
W: But, just like almost anyone else, he has flaws.
Flaws:
-Is very weak physically for an imp so when fighting another tough opponent he will have to rely on his special guns a lot
-He can can get really meek when people condescend him
-He is prone to losing control under enough frustration as well as potentially having a panic attack(depending on if it was a joke or not
-Is more used to fighting with the assistance of Millie and Blitzo
-Can sometimes choke under extreme pressure
-On rare occasions after an enemy disrespects him can talk to much to a cornered enemy therefore leaving him vulnerable

Pre Death Battle[]
W: Alright, the combinations are set, its time for a DEATH BATTLE!
Death battle[]
Location, Imp City, Hell.
“Okay Moxxie, there's a target that needs killing, but be careful, he is armed.” Blitzo said to Moxxie.
“Okay boss. But why can’t you or come with me?” Moxxie said. “Because I’m too busy tracking Striker.” Moxxie then went through the portal to find himself at Gorges blu starting point.
Meanwhile, a frustrated scout walked looking for his team. “Stupid bus, why did you have to crash on the way to 2fort?”
CRASH
“What the?” Scout exclaimed and looked back only to see a small red looking thing with horns and a black suit. “What the frick are you?! Scout screamed “OH-OH CRUD!” Moxxie shouted as he fired his pistol at scout. As scout dodged the bullet, he pulled out his pistol and fired back at the imp. The two ran for cover processed the situation.
FIGHT!
Moxxie peeked from the crate he was ducking under for the scout, only to see nothing. The scout the peeked from the new crate he was hiding from and shot at Moxxie. Moxxie quickly ducked and rolled out of cover with two pistols running side ways. Scout did the same now having his winger pulled out. The two they ran out of ammo and went to reload, scout, being scout pulled out his scattergun and shot at Moxxie. It shocked the imp, so much that he lost his two pistols in the process. But he did not lose the battle. As he rolled away in time to pull out his shotgun. He retailed and shot at scout which he double jumped out of the way.
They both ran around, shooting at each other until Moxxie got a lucky hit on the speed demon. “AH!” He yelled. Moxxie took advantage of this and shot at Scouts head. Only to it to hit his scattergun out of his hand. Scout pulled out his sandman and hit Moxie in the gut with it, making him lose his gun again and making him fall on the sand. “Get ready for a beating, you little possum.” Scout remarked. Moxxies face began to get red. “I am not a possum!” He shouted, jumping at scout.
The two weapons collided with the katana being slightly lodged in the wooden bat. Moxxie got the sword out and the two began swing at each other and either blocked or missed until scout got a hit. “BOINK!” Scout screamed, as Moxxie threw his katana due to the sheer amount of force of scouts swing. Moxxie. Now enraged pulled out a revolver and shot the scout in his left shoulder. “ERR.” The scout yelped and he reached for his short shop and shot at Moxxie, getting a hit on his leg. Moxxie yelped, and, pulled out a Tommy gun. “Gah crap.” Scout muttered.
BAP BAP BAP BAP
The gun fired, forcing scout to run into cover again and pull out his baby face blaster. Moxxie ran after scout, shouting “POSSUM, HUH, WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FROM A FUCKING POSSUM!” He ran into an entrance, only to be met with fire from scout, knocking him back. He looked up to see a cleaver flying at his face, only for him to duck, and narrowly escaping failure he got up and glared at scout, ready to finish this.
Scout ran around jumping everywhere trying his absolute best to dodge the gun fire from the assassin, in turn kept rolling around to dodge scouts gun. The two landed on the floor, out of breath. “Y-Y'Know, you good for a gremlin.” Scout said. “And you good for- for a- a-…… I'M NOT A FUCKING GREMLIN!”
Scout pulled out his baby face blaster and shot it, but it had no ammo in it. “What the- WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP!?” Moxxie laughed as scout searched another weapon while Moxxie aimed his Tommy gun at him. “I guess this is it buddy.” Moxxie said as he pulled the trigger……. And nothing came out. “What the heaven!?” He shouted, Just after he shouted that he got a bat to the gut. He let out an “OOF”. He then got multiple other hits, all of them landing, and then one final upwards hit witch made him fly multiple feet away. “Ha you stupid imp looking thing!”
SWISH
An Arrow flew by his face, missing only inches to his face. He then looked back, to see the demon standing up, clutching his side with a crossbow in hand. “Y-Your right, I’m an imp.” He sputtered out. Scout then turned around and pulled out his force of nature.
He shot at Moxxie who rolled and shot his crossbow. Scout side stepped and shot his force of nature, blowing the imp outside. “Nice moves Demon-Boy!” The scout said mockingly. He ran over towards him and laughed. The demon-boy then pulled out his Tommy gun, and got up and fireat him forcing him to get into cover. AGAIN. He then pulled out his BONK! ATOMIC PUNCH and thought of something. Scout then got out of cover and stood in front of the gun fire. It had no effect of him, Moxxie was not only surprised at this but also confused to why scout was radiating. Scout pointed to the sky and swung at Moxxies head, hitting him HARD and sending him flying into the pavement and onto the ground.
Moxxie groaned, his vision was blurry, and he has a massive headache. He looked up through his dazed vision to see Scout loading and aiming his force of nature at him. “What do we learn? I always win!” Scout said tauntingly. Moxxie tried to respond to that but only got a few groans out. Scout then pulled the trigger, blowing the imps head off, killing him instantly.
K.O.
"Man I gotta find my team and tell them about this, there gonna love it!" Scout went off to find his teammates, while Moxxie awoke in hell screaming.
Results[]
B: Wow that kill was awesome!
W: While Moxxie had the edge in sharpshooting, durability and intelligence, Scout was just ahead of him in everything else.
B: For example, strength, scout was able to incapacitate a heavy in three swings, broke a soldiers neck with one swing and kill killed multiple bears with Amelia airhearts femur. Keep in mind that Heavy is strong enough to fight Russian bears larger than himself bare handed and suplex them. And soldier can kill bears just like scout.
W: He is fast enough to outrun sentry gun fire, and sentry guns can lock onto any target they seen in a matter milliseconds, and he outran a train.
B: His weaponry has much better too, having more weapons that rewards him work hitting people, such as the soda popper and the baby face blaster.
W: Despite being less intelligent, Scout was more clever than Moxxie, being able to think of stuff when hes in trouble. While Moxxie usually chokes under pressure.
B: And Moxxie seems to be more careful which lead him and his gang to get caught by that family. And hes distracted more often.
W: Moxxie may have been more intelligent, a better shot and was a bit more durable, but scout just took everything else.
B: Looks like The Scout blew Moxxie away.
W: The winner is The Scout.
Triva[]
- This is my second battle.
- The connection between Scout and Moxxie is that there both scrawny gun using contract killers that are in a group of other contract killers, and they also go on adventures (Meet the team in scouts case, Helluva boss episodes in Moxxies case).
- This battle was made when only ep 1-5 for Helluva Boss was out.
