This is WHAT IF matchup between Mordecai and Rigby from Regular Show vs Ian and Anthony from the SMOSH Youtube channel made by Ctpeyton. NOTE: I AM USING THE FICTIONAL VERSIONS OF IAN AND ANTHONY THAT THE TWO HOSTS ACTED AS ON THE CHANNEL! I AM NOT USING THE REAL-LIFE VERSIONS SINCE THAT IS AGAINST THE RULES ON THE WIKI!

INTRODUCTION[]

Wiz: Mordecai and Rigby -- The Blue jay/Raccoon party-goers of the park.

Boomstick: And Ian & Anthony -- The Super Bread Head/Emo Hair Smosh Bros of YouTube.

Wiz: It's important to have a best friend by your side, especially when the world is full of craziness.

Boomstick: And these two mis-match duos go through it everyday, but never alone. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!

MADE ON REDDIT; I DO NOT OWN THIS

JUST THE REGULAR STRUGGLE OF MORDECAI & RIGBY.[]

Wiz: Where do you think of going when you want to escape the stresses of industrial manhattan? Where do you think will be a great place to jog and exercise, play sports, enjoy numerous special events or just relax?

Boomstick: I hope you’re not thinking of the Park.

Wiz: Yeah, the Park has had its own issues. First, its weird staff consists of an immortal, skipping yeti, a smaller version of the Hulk, a ghost, a walking lollipop-

Boomstick: Whom is the EMBODIMENT OF PURE GOOD!

Wiz: And they are all managed by a walking gumball machine.

Boomstick: Whom is the EMBODIMENT OF ORDERLINESS!

Wiz: Second, even these grasslands are no stranger to strange disasters such as being attacked by the rival park, zombies, a giant eyeball, or giantS PLURAL, everyone getting shot in the head because some guy wanted to build a portal to Hell. Most of the Park's near destruction seems to stem from the Park’s stand-out groundskeepers – a blue jay and raccoon best friend duo named Mordecai and Rigby.

Mordecai (Background):

  • –Height: 6’3”
  • –Occupations: Park Groundskeeper, Space Tree Ranger, Abstract Artist
  • –Species: Blue Jay
  • –Attended Art School
  • –Favorite Band: Brain Explosion
  • –Couple Corral Profile Name: Mordecool

Boomstick: We’ll start with Mordecai. He’s had a childhood that had some pretty embarrassing moments involving falling from a high height on stage during a play, and getting a saxophone mouthpiece stuck in his throat. Each of these situations were recorded by his mom, who saved it all on a tape.

Wiz: Not to mention his… relationship track record. He did go to art school to attempt some success, but it didn’t work out.

Rigby (Background):

  • –Height: 3’5”
  • –Occupations: Park Groundskeeper, Graduated Highschool Student, Space Tree Ranger, Mover
  • –Species: Raccoon
  • –Once changed his name to “Trash Boat”
  • –Has only one buttcheek
  • –Allergic to eggs

Boomstick: Then there’s my favorite: RIGBY – a simple, chill, free-loving, lazy guy who lived with his more beloved brother and his asshole dad. [sighs] At least his dad stayed, though.

Wiz: Both Mordecai and rigby met when they were toddlers and ever since became best buds by the time they attended high school, blew up the science lab and got expelled. Desperate to find a job, Mordecai and Rigby found an ad in the newspaper for groundskeeping jobs at their local Park, which required no experience necessary. They were hired on the spot and were even given a place to stay.

Boomstick: So they were given a job AND a house for FREE. They could not mess this chance up, right? Well, on the first day, instead of doing work, they played rock-paper-scissors over a useless chair and summoned a portal that sucked up the park. For some reason, Benson didn’t just fire them on the spot and they remained Park employees for years.

Wiz: During their years of “working” at the park, Mordecai and Rigby have found themselves on wild adventures and danger. Or they just slacked off and let wild adventures and danger come to them. Lucky for them, despite being total slackers, both were prepared most of the time and managed to survive everything that ruined their day.

Boomstick: While he strangely can’t fly despite being a bird, Mordecai is pretty strong. Sure, not on Skips' or Muscle Man's level, but Mordo can still bust through locked doors, break a broom with one punch, throw Rigby so hard he breaks a wall or TV, and slam-dunk a hole in a giant basketball planet they were standing on.

Wiz: Mordecai even knocked out this demon that was bigger than a building with a single guitar-swing and tackled Death Bear through a wall. Death Bear seems to be similar to a brown bear, which has a varying weight between 180 to 1,320 lb. This compares to Pops wrestling a polar bear, which can lift up to 450 kg.

Mordecai (Feats):

  • –Shoved a Ruler into a guy’s torso
  • –Tackled Death Bear through a wall
  • –Outran a pursuing energy blast
  • –Survived a bazooka explosion
  • –Survived a 50+ foot cannonball
  • –Spent an entire afternoon without blinking

Wiz: Mordecai has survived a direct shot from a bazooka, and a cannonball into a pool from a helicopter that was hovering in the clouds.

Boomstick: But Rigby has some strong feats, too. OK, he’s clearly the weakest employee at the Park, but that’s because he’s not TRYING. Believe me. He’s strong enough to punch through a fridge and lift ALL THESE BOXES WITH HIS BACK! He even kept holding onto Muscle Man after being launched by a propane explosion.

Popup: Rigby takes after his animalistic ancestors. Being a racoon, he runs on all fours, granting him the ability to outrun all the other park members and outrun or catch up to vehicles, which Mordecai can also do by just running on his legs. Rigby is also quite sneaky, moving quick enough to steal a wizard's keyboard and a martial arts page from a dojo master while they were distracted. He's also occasionally used his sharp claws and teeth.

Rigby (Feats):

  • –Death Punch sent Pops into the atmosphere & dug craters into lava
  • –Held onto a rampaging Muscle Man, even after a propane explosion
  • –Carried Muscle Man on his back across a river
  • –Unloaded extremely heavy boxes with his back
  • –Won Expert or Liar
  • –Lived after his body was ran over

Boomstick: But these are nothing compared to Rigby’s ultimate weapon: HAMBONING!

Wiz: No.

Boomstick: This will save your life someday, man!

Wiz: Together both dudes can resist the strong pulls of vortexes, and once arm-wrestled two robots and created a gateway for an interdimensional deity to destroy both their universes. And those same robots contained the power to destroy that same deity.

Boomstick: In terms of speed, Mordecai and Rigby have dodged missiles even at close-range, lasers and move out of the way of a lightning bolt. In durability, both have survived being smashed through walls, long falls, a shockwave that was strong enough to blow away trees, and explosions, even one caused by their boss becoming so angry, he let out a super yell that devastated the park. I mean, they ARE cartoon characters. They can endure quite good punishment.

Wiz: Massive-scaled explosions the duo have survived was when they were absorbed by antimatter, which contorted, stretched and ripped their bodies, ending with an explosion that could’ve destroyed the city. But that’s nothing compared to when Planet Lolliland exploded with them on it, and they didn’t even have any scratches on them. They just straight up tanked a planet being destroyed.

Popup: Enemies that Mordecai and Rigby have fought and survived include Park Avenue, who painted over the sun and sky, and the Hammer, who absorbed all the city's power.

Boomstick: But when you’re living in a world so crazy that your game can come alive and try to kill you, you need to know how to KICK ASS, which Mordecai and Rigby also have in common. Though, it’s not great; it’s basic stuff you see on video games or TV. NOTHING on the appropriately named martial art of DEATH KWON DO!

Popup: In the comics, Mordo & Rigs can just automatically gain their DEATH KWON DO forms (lvl up) and perform death techniques without their forms.

Powers & Abilities:

  • -Death Kwon Do
  • -Basketball Powers
  • -Poetry & Rap
  • -Real Life Cheat Codes
    • -Level Select
    • -Unlimited Hit Points
    • -Big Head Mode
    • -Unlimited Ammo
    • -Turbo Mode
    • -Unlimited Lives

Wiz: There’s the Death Punch of Death, a punch so powerful it can destroy any structure, send a target into the atmosphere or just straight up DISINTEGRATE them. The only known method of blocking this attack is the Death Block, powerful enough to defend against any attack. Upon impact, Rigby’s Punches made energy pillars that reached into the clouds and dug into the Earth. There’s also the Death Jump, which is just flight, and the Bicycle Kick of Death, which can deflect projectiles.

(Boomstick is now shirtless and is wearing cut-up jean shorts and has a mullet)

Boomstick: Yep, this is my kind of karate - little to no effort needed to achieve awesome power. Just shorts and a haircut!

(Wiz is also wearing basketball gear)

Wiz: Speaking of no effort, would it be AWESOME to just ask a god to make you great at basketball? Because that’s what Mordecai and Rigby got. But here’s the catch: the sport apparently incorporates Dragonball-isk powers like increase in strength and flight at speeds high enough to escape earth and cross the solar system in seconds. Mordecai flew down to earth at re-entry speeds and dunked the ball so hard, he created an explosion that destroyed the park, which in overview takes up a city block.

POPUP: BTW, it was confirmed that the guys were traveling at relativistic speeds while in space, as months have passed.

Boomstick: How are these guys not fired?

Wiz: These aren’t the craziest techniques Mordo and Rigs have learned; they gained real life “cheat codes” after releasing a genie from his cartridge, and they can warp and defy reality with poetry and music.

Arsenal:

  • -The Power
  • -Book of Park Records
  • -Fists of Justice
  • -Time Machine
  • -Time Orb
  • -BrainMax
  • -Apple Fritters
  • -Invisibility Cloaks
  • -Laser Ring
    • -has a self-destruct switch
  • -Hurf Guns
    • -can use anything that fits inside ammo
  • -Sky Kicks
    • -jumping height increases the more they are pumped
  • -Tough Guy Shirt
  • -Ghost Blasters
  • -D-20 Dice
  • -Genie Bottle
  • -Electric Power Glove
  • -Multiversal Remote
  • -The Maximum Glove S & Tonare Targeters
  • -Pack-In Systems
  • -Golf Cart
  • -Hoverboard(s)
  • -Mr. Maellard’s White Stallion Limousine
  • -Tonare-62 Bomber Jets
  • -Spaceships
  • -Hyperduck

Boomstick: Hm, since you’ve brought up music defying reality, we can move on to talking about their arsenal, starting with *THE POWER* – a magic electric keyboard that makes whatever Mordo & Rigs sing reality, including summoning, mind-control, teleportation, and time-travel. It also has a shield that protected the bros from an energy beam.

POPUP: Skips said the Power can control reality and cannot be truly destroyed, only shattered and put back together. PB stated she could turn the entire world into candy with the Power.

Boomstick: ONLY two problems are that it runs on battery power and it can be shattered into pieces.

Wiz: Surprisingly, the Power isn’t the only tool the guys have to warp reality.

Boomstick: Yeah. The Book of Park Records for example makes whatever is written inside happen ONLY IN THE PARK. A magic D-20 dice can bring anything they want into reality. There was also the time the dudes met a genie named Darla, who granted 3 wishes, but they later set her free and can just use her bottle to make FREE WISHES.

Wiz: Alright, calming down a little, Mordecai and Rigby wield golden gauntlets forged by Guardians of Eternal Youth to defeat Klorgbane the Destroyer.

Boomstick: Let’s see, uh, Santa gave them invisibility cloaks for Christmas, BrainMax increases their intelligence, double-glazed apple fritters make them move so fast they see stuff in slow motion, Rigby wears this Tough Guy shirt that turns him into a rampaging giant, a multiversal remote that turns objects into variants of itself, Time Machine… does exactly what it says, and did we mention these guys were Ghostbusters?!

Wiz: When they were in a video game war, they were equipped with special power gloves and boxing gloves that decrease the graphics – or technically the dimensionality – of objects and people, digitizing the target until they are nothing but a single pixel.

(Boomstick is wearing said power glove. DUMMI floats into the scene, and Boomstick points the glove and fires it, digitizing DUMMI until he was a tiny black square)

Wiz: Along with this, they fly jets that drop down tetris blocks and wear game consoles on their backs that summon video game characters into battle.

Boomstick: [gasps] IS THAT SONIC THE HEDGEHOG?!

Wiz: And Mordo and Rigs have teamed up with a bunch of baby ducks to battle those giant bird mechs mentioned at the beginning.

Boomstick: Now, these little balls of fluff may look cute, and they are, but with their powers combined, they become a colossal duck/dude hybrid that can transform into alternate, more powerful forms. The Hyperduck’s strongest form Kingbreaker White Lightning devastated the Earth's surface and wields the Galaxy Blade, which can reach the size of a galaxy.

Wiz: There is also this time orb that rewinds moments in time to the point of creating a time loop. This unlocks another power of Mordo & Rigs: they are above their verse's entirety and see it as an illusion. This means they see their own Space-Time as an illusion. So well done to these two slackers, who have basically transcended their dimensional plain and found out it was fiction.

BOTH (Feats):

  • –Dodged lasers & missiles
  • –Stopped the Timenado
  • –Tanked Benson’s Ultimate Yell, which devastated the Park
  • –Summoned a universe-destroying deity by arm-wrestling two robots (who killed said deity)
  • –Survived being absorbed by Antimatter & its explosion
  • –Survived the explosion of Planet Lolliland
  • –Survived the Pops’ clash that resets the universe
  • –Transcended & traveled across comic book panels
  • –Defeated Garret Bobby Ferguson, The Hammer, Geese, Limosaurus, Coach Ross, Klorgbane

Boomstick: Together, Mordecai and Rigby have beat a giant, floating head at a videogame and then his son, battled a dinosaur made out of limos, saved their park from the Russians, stopped a tornado that was ripping through entire timelines along with their former highschool teacher, and flew to space, where they flew in between Pops and Anti-Pops’ punches before it could reset their entire universe.

POPUP: Regular Show cosmology

Wiz: After managing to continue working at the park for 6 years straight, the duo separated to forge new paths: Rigby was married and had a family whom he shared videogames with, and Mordecai succeeded in the art world and FINALLY found the right woman to settle down with.

Boomstick: Even after 25 years, despite their occasional fights and the chaos they shared, this blue jay and raccoon will always remain regular bros.

YAY! THE SMOSH BROS ARE IN DEATH BATTLE! SHUT UP![]

Boomstick: It all started in 2002, when 2 dudes, Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, created their own website called Smosh.com, where they uploaded Flash animation. Then they took their entertainment potential to YouTube, singing a copyrighted song and reaching 25 million views, the biggest number of views at the time. After that, they would make a HUGE name for themselves and-

Wiz: BOOMSTICK! You’re talking about the real Ian and Anthony. We don’t do that here. Ahem, we’re actually talking about their fictional counterparts they play in their fictional SMOSH series, where WEIRD and offensive stuff happens.

Boomstick: Nah, it’s like the real world with fiction mixed in; sure, a man with a box over his face becomes president and some guy dressed like a moon kills your friends if his emoji is sent before moles-

Wiz: W-We get it, Boomstick. Moving on…

Ian (Background):

  • –Full name: Ian Hecox
  • –Former Honey Boo Boo addict
  • –Owner of the the SHUT UP app
  • –Somehow has a job as a school teacher
  • –Likes: Meth, Video Games, Pink Frosted Sprinkled Donuts
  • –Dislikes: His mom, That stupid gorilla thing

Wiz: The two met when they were babies; Ian was an innocent child who loved his bear Miss Hugs-A-Lot and was unaware of the feud between his parents.

Anthony (Background):

  • –Full name: Anthony “Danger” Padilla
  • –Part-Black & Part-Spider
  • –Former member of Religitology & Jared Leto’s Cult
  • –Writes Twilight Fanfiction
  • –Likes: Video Games (especially Pokémon), Taquitos, Emo hair
  • –Dislikes: Going bald, Lakitu, His embarrassing moment from Prom

Boomstick: He was dropped off at daycare, and there was Anthony, who was at first a little shit to Ian, but they got hung up by older bullies, got thrown at with dog piss-filled balloons, and met up, sparking a new friendship.

Wiz: Growing up, the two became roommates and embarked on new adventures. OH! And did we mention Stevey?

Boomstick: Nobody cares about him, Wiz. What we do care about is the crap they’ve gone through!

Wiz: Well, they’re strengths are inconsistent; apparently, they “don’t know how to punch”. Yet, they can knock out someone with a punch. I’m going to guess they mean they don’t know how to do upper cuts and other styled punches?

Boomstick: Hey! Ian can launch a guy into the sky and once bashed Anthony’s head in with an EASY-BAKE OVEN!

Ian (Feats):

  • –Won 6 Food Wars
  • –Endured:
    • .his hand getting blown up
    • .cutting his arm off
    • .getting ran over by a car
  • –Survived:
    • .being bombarded with bullets
    • .falling down the Grand Canyon
    • .decapitation
  • –Batted a guy into the clouds
  • –Killed Anthony with an Easy-Bake Oven
  • –IS ACTUALLY SMART??

Boomstick: Anthony can easily break a person’s legs. Just ask Ian! They should be equal to each other-

Anthony (Feats):

  • –Won 4 Food Wars
  • –Survived:
    • .getting stabbed in the neck
    • .getting shot through the heart
    • .being impaled through a flag
    • .getting hit by a fire truck at full speed
    • .a minefield explosion
  • –Shut down and can reset (if he SAVED) the universe with the Magic Keyboard
  • –DID THE FLIP AT PROM!!!
  • –Defeated his bobblehead self (by killing himself), a robot (in a fighting game), The Pink Frosted Sprinkled Donut Montana

Wiz: Wait, if Ian killed Anthony, then how is he alive in the next video?

Boomstick: “Inconsistent”. Remember Wiz? They even acknowledge how they come back from death; It’s like a yearly thing for them. So it doesn’t really matter to them if they’re run over by cars or get their bones broken because they just laugh it off and act like NOTHING death-related is happening to them. Shoot them, burn them, freeze them in space, incinerate them with a NUKE, uhm… make them hit a wall, electrocute them with a toaster, kill them in the past. They’ll be back either as a GHOST or in the flesh in the next episode to do it all again like Looney Tunes characters.

POPUP: Both have regenerative properties and body control. For example, Anthony can grow an extra arm and stop his heart from beating (which Ian can hear) for only a while. Ian can also survive decapitation and reattach his head. Both can also stretch their arms from different places.

Wiz: Speaking of “like Looney Tunes characters”, Ian and Anthony can whip out things like guns with hammerspace.

Arsenal:

  • –Guns
  • –Baseball Bats
  • –Fake & Real Swords
  • –Poison
  • –VooDoo Dolls
  • –Pokeballs
    • –contains Pokemon
  • –Pokedex
  • –Phones
    • –Siri A.I.
    • –Ian’s drawings come to life
  • –Ian’s Death Note
  • –Anthony’s Life Note
  • –Anthony’s Fanny Pack
  • –Puma Men’s Shoes
    • –Amplifies Speed, Agility, & Jumping
  • –Sex Turbans
  • –Time-Traveling Power Glove & Machine
  • –Video-Game-Teleportation Device
  • –A.I. Supercomputer Microwave
  • –Hacker Buttons
    • –Skin Hack (disguise)
    • –Wall Hack (can go through walls)
    • –AimBot (precise aim)
    • –Gravity & Super Jump (unstoppable flight)
    • –BigHead
    • –Lag
    • –Limb (summons a hatchet)
    • –Speed
  • –Magic Keyboard
  • –Magic iPad
  • –Magic iPOD
  • –Maxwell’s Notebook
  • –Favorite Foods
  • –Video Game Weapons

Boomstick: OR whip out katana swords that obliterate objects into pixels with one slice from Anthony’s bottomless fanny pack.

Wiz: Gifted by the Anime Gods, Ian obtained the Death Note. If you’ve seen the anime, you’ll know what it does.

Boomstick: Don’t be like that, Wiz. The Death Note kills those who’s full name is written in, and Anthony’s Life Note – don’t remember that in the anime – brings people back to life, instead. They have other ways of playing people’s lives with voodoo dolls.

(Wiz holds a celery in one hand, and a chili pepper in his other.)

Wiz: Sometimes when Ian and Anthony have different favorite foods, they compete in Food Battles, where they show off their foods’ AWESOME powers. And Anthony really does know his food; I too enjoy a good, healthy celery launching you into the air like a pogo stick. OH, but also a chili pepper, makes a good teleporter.

(Boomstick holds a pink-frosted, sprinkled donut.)

Boomstick: NAH! Ian knows his donuts! Has A LOT of uses! Glad to see Anthony agrees. Though, can’t imagine what a VEGAN donut tastes like.

POPUP: Is no one gonna mention Food Battle: The Game from 2014? No? Ok.

Wiz: The Smosh Bros have invented their own weapons, such as hacker buttons that give them ACTUAL life hacks by hacking reality, a time machine (self-explanatory), a device that can transport them into video games, and an A.I. Supercomputer Microwave/3D printer that can cook up any item they want.

POPUP: Anthony said the hacker buttons have a “speed hack”. It’s unknown HOW fast this makes the two, but it was compared to Ian cleaning the living room in 12 seconds at fast-forward-like speeds after doing meth.

Boomstick: Hold on, aren’t these guys idiots? How can they “invent” things?

Wiz: Their intelligence also varies from episode to episode. But did you know Ian actually dabbled in science because he didn’t get a Super Nintendo? Bill Nye even taught him.

Boomstick: WHAT?

Wiz: Yep! That’s how he resurrected Anthony with a potion of mixed bat urine and Little Tito’s Hot Chunky Salsa. He also created a Lobster-Hands Boy with DNA from himself and a lobster, a real-life South Park Character, Doppelgangers, Race Cyrus-

Boomstick: ALLRIGHT! ALLRIGHT! MOVING ON! The boys got magic technology to warp reality as much as they want. Ian can draw things to life on his phone, while Anthony has a keyboard that can control time, change or erase things and people from existence, DESTROY and RESET reality if he REMEMBERED TO SAVE WHAT HE COPIES, just think of the functions you can do with the little keys on your own laptop, but in REAL LIFE!

Wiz: Ian’s iPAD pretty much does the same thing as the keyboard, and they found a magic iPOD that summons a genie who will grant them 3 wishes… as long as it’s something from the early 2000s.

Boomstick: Hold on, magic keyboard that alters reality, real life cheat HAX, hand-held time machine, a GENIE… this sounds familiar…

Powers & Abilities:

  • –Immortality
  • –Regeneration
  • –Resurrection
  • –High Pain-Tolerance
  • –Elasticity
  • –Ian’s Mind-Reading
  • –Anthony's Murder Mode
    • –Triggered by the word "mermaid"
  • –Animal Ranger Animal Power
  • –Video Game Powers

Wiz: Well, they also got-

Boomstick: WAIT!

Wiz: [sighs]

Boomstick: Is that the Scribblenauts magic notebook?! AND THEY CAN SUMMON POKEMON?!? And WHEN did Anthony get Kirby’s power-copying suck ability?!?!

POPUP: mention [WHAT IF…] segments

Wiz: Well, technically, in the original series, they were just fun fan videos making video game references. But in the animated spin-off, Super Smosh, one day, Ian and Anthony met a floating robot named MARLI who… just randomly shot them with radiation. As a result, they gained the ability to equip any super power from any video game they owned. For example, Mario power-ups and fighting moves from Mortal Kombat. They can also enter games, change their forms, summon weapons and items, and the very mechanics of games. Though their powers don’t last forever; after a short time, everything will disappear and they themselves will turn back to their normal forms.

Boomstick: Ugh, oh well, totally awesome powers always come at a price.

Wiz: These powers also include cheat codes, one of which insta-killed the Super Nintega.

POPUP: Ian and Anthony also have the power to “reset” themselves, meaning resetting their existence and, therefore, erasing their memories and thensome. But they only did this as a last-ditch effort to stop their glitch infection. There’s also a “Power” option, which its capabilities are unknown.

Boomstick: Anymore broken batshit I should know about?

Wiz: Ian can read minds.

Boomstick: …huh.

BOTH (Feats):

  • –Played & succeeded in Flappy Bird for days straight
  • –Tanked an explosion that destroyed a daycare restroom
  • –Reset their existence
  • –Can hack & manipulate reality
  • –Caused & survived the destruction of their universes
  • –Traveled across YouTube itself
  • –Defeated Rita Repulsa, Teleporting Fat Guy (with ONE PUNCH), Mother Octopus, The Super Nintega

Wiz: The Super Smosh Bros have made music videos, including one about dixon cider...

Boomstick: [snickers]

Wiz: Became Power… Animal Rangers to defeat Rita Repulsa in a mech/giant fight, destroyed a giant space octopus that birthed VR mind-controlling headsets, SOMEHOW played Flappy Bird for days straight and WON, and traveled across the infinite realms of YouTube itself to delete an embarrassing video from Prom. [sighs] I can relate to that…

(glances at Boomstick)

POPUP: Talk about Ian and Anthony destroying the universe with their items and surviving; talk about the Chosen on the SMOSH Cosmology

Boomstick: It’s been YEARS!

(Boomstick wraps his arm around Wiz.)

Boomstick: Your ex got over it. Probably… Like me and Wizard here, Ian and Anthony have grown from two losers to faces of the internet who have been through so much to touch the hearts of many a viewer. And even though they’ve broken up-

(Wiz whispers in Boomstick’s ear.)

Boomstick: Oh, I’m still talking about the real ones?

(whispering continues)

Boomstick: Ahem, they’ll always be brothers ‘till the end in this mosh pit of a world.

(Boomstick tightens his grip, squeezing Wiz and causing visible dis-comfort.)

INTERLUDE[]

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, and we've gone through the data of all possibilities.

Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!

The animation should be a mix of sprites and hand-drawn.

Connections: Both are video-gaming duos who are best friends and sometimes they compete or fight to see one of them is the superior. One is a tall and sometimes smart friend (Anthony and Mordecai) and one is a short, stupid, and messy (Ian and Rigby). Both of their shows features adult jokes. Both of them discovered a book which can make their writing into reality (Death Note and Book of Park Records). Both of them also found a magic keyboard that can do whatever they want (Magic Keyboard and The Power). Both also compete in a staring contest. Both of their one friend has a hair problem (Anthony got caught in an explosion and became bald while Mordecai lost a bet and had a blonde haircut.) that results to them being a good cause (Anthony getting money while he's acting lonely in the street and Mordecai getting cool new blonde friends.) while the other friend, who cause the problem in the first place, (Ian bribed the doctor to put a bald cap on Anthony and Rigby cheating the bet.) loses their time with them. In the end, even though they had their fights and troubles, they're still best friends. Each episode in their stories starts out with them living normal lazy suburban lives until things get crazy. Their shows were also considered to have gone downhill in the later seasons for different reasons (Regular Show having less crazy stoner adventures in favor of romance drama & Smosh relying more on repetitive gimmicks rather than more creative sketches). Both of these duos aren't together anymore (Anthony going in a different direction with his own channel/Mordecai and Rigby growing up and going their separate ways). However, they occasionally meet each other again. Both of them discovered magical Fortune Cookies (Ian and Anthony had fortune cookies which could tell the future/Mordecai and Rigby had fortune cookies which could give people good luck and bad luck). Both are also considered to have a rivalry with other shows (Adventure Time and Good Mythical Morning). Both even have a episode where they mess with time because of a dumb reason.
