Intro[]
Skunk: I've always had envy for those brave enough to protect what is important to them, and keep everyone safe from harm.
Skel: All heroes don't have fancy super powers, or wear over the top costumes, sometimes a knight must come out and face a dragon, or some beast equal to that.
Skunk: Moon Knight, Marvel's Light Knight in the Night.
Skel: And Undyne, Royal Guard of Undertale! He's Skunk and I'm Skel!
Skunk: And it's our job to research their weapons, armour and skill to find out who would win, a Death Battle!
Full Moon Rises In The Knight Of Death Battle![]
Skunk: The night sky gives us many things, light, a beautiful view.
Skel: Also some pretty badass heroes, like Moon Knight.
Skunk: Meet Marc Spector, a man who was on a mission, but a tragic fate occurred, he was left for dead in the middle of the mission, when things went dire.
Skel: But because he had to live because of the story, he was brought back by Khonshu, a Moon God, so basically the opposite of Ra.
Skunk: It did come with a price, where Marc had to be the god's avatar in the world, so he went back to New York, and became the vigilante "Moon Knight" and save those in need.
Skel: Though thanks to the revival he kinda got this multiple personality disorder and goes through them often, so he became pretty crazy and unstable.
Skunk: Despite this, he still kept the vigilante job up, and thanks to his various gear, skills and abilities, he has done it very well.

Skunk: Indeed, he also has an energy shield, metal claws, a cape that allows him to glide, and a grapple hook, he basically is Batman.
Skel: He not only has gadgets, he has powers and skills, his fighting style is so unpredictable, barely anybody can predict it, and he is a master with all the weapons he has.
Skunk: He also gets powers by the Moon God, like enhanced physic, including reflexes and speed being heightened, as well as increased strength and durability.
Skel: He also can be revived if he dies, so that's pretty neat.
Skunk: He has done impressive stuff with all this power.
Moon Knight's Feats[]
- Able to equal Spider-Man
- Can throw fully grown adults
- Was fine after getting stabbed multiple times
- Can fight Werewolf
- Can cut people's faces off

Skunk: He also can dodge gun fire, and if he wanted to, he could cut bullets with a dart easily, and he has faced the infamous Doctor Doom.
Skel: He shrugged off getting stabbed multiple times, throw people easily and cut a person's face off, basically he is a violent version of Batman.
Skunk: But like Batman, he does have his own weaknesses.
Moon Knight's Flaws[]
- Under his armour, he is still a mortal man
- Multiple Personality disorder may get in the way of fighting
- Reckless and Violent
- Works alone
- His powers depend on how full the moon is, and only work at night
Skel: Yeah he is still just a dude under the armour, well, a super cool tough human, so yeah.
Skunk: He does rely on the moon itself to keep him powered, and he fights very violently, which could lead someone to possibly being able to outsmart him or lead him into a trap, but again, he is so unpredictable, sometimes that is really hard.
Skel: The biggest problem he has is without his gear and the moon, he becomes a simple man without powers.
Skunk: While true, if you are a bad guy in the night, you'd best hope you don't run into this hero, he will beat you down within an inch of your life.
Moon Knight: And now foul demon, face the vengeance, of the Moon Knight.
Undyne Is Determined To Win In Death Battle![]
Skunk: The underground is a place of beauty, wonder, and thrill, full of many wonderful things.
Skel: Such as small weird dog like things who want to sell you stuff, buy salads, and graduate college.
Skunk: Yeah, well there was a certain time monsters and humans were friends, they lived harmoniously, together.
Skel: Then the monsters all got trapped underground, behind some barrier that only a being with a soul can go through.
Skunk: And it was made clear they must break the barrier, and to do so, they needed 7 human souls.
Skel: Wasn't it 6?
Skunk: Whatever amount of souls it was, they needed more than 1 to break the barrier, so with each human that wandered into the underground, it was meant to be that they fell for the better of all monsters.
Skel: Well you see, the king of monsters isn't exactly evil, he just wants to be nice and stuff, but when it came to it, he did what he had to.
Skunk: But we are not here to talk about Asgore, we are here to talk about the one and only, leader of the Royal Guard, Undyne!
Undyne is shown in multiple shots, fighting Frisk/Chara.
Skel: Undyne always wanted to be a guard to Asgore, and to prove herself to him, she wanted to make everyone proud, and collect the remaining souls of the humans.
Skunk: And depending what story we go through, many things happen, Undyne could end up becoming friends with Frisk, or face down with Chara to the ultimate death, but before we get to that stuff, let's go over her arsenal and powers.
Undyne's Arsenal & Powers[]
Arsenal[]
- Spears
- Can be multiplied and used as throwing weapons
Powers[]
- Soul Manipulation
- She can immobilize a person in place, stopping them from running away
- Her attacks damage a person's soul and physical body both at the same time
- Super Physic
- One of the strongest monsters in the Underground
- Can match Frisk/Chara in speed
- Able to take blows from Frisk/Chara (In the neutral run)
- Weapon Creation
- Can form energy spears
Skel: She has the skills to face off against people who can dodge lightning and meteors, possesses super strength, and can conjure spear of pure energy to fly at her foes.
Skunk: She is one of the most powerful monsters in the Underground, her deadly arsenal, combined with her sheer power can mow down anyone who dares oppose her within seconds.
Skel: She can even directly harm a person's soul, and freeze them in place too, though, she does give them a spear to held them against her, so, she kinda has a weird code.
Skunk: While her moral is high, her will-power is much higher, doing things nobody else could do.
Undyne's Feats[]
- Able to keep up with Frisk/Chara
- Can harm them
- Can take hits from them
- Has higher health than other boss monsters
- Easily lifted a massive boulder, just because she could
- Was skilled enough to be the Head of the Royal Guard
- Possibly killed other humans that came to the underground
Skel: Her skills have let her face against other powerful and worthy warriors, taking on Chara, who can one-shot many other monsters.
Skunk: She could lift and throw a boulder, and did so because she wanted to, not to mention being tougher than many other monsters.
Skel: And being the head of the Royal freaking Guard is a massive achievement, like, you gotta have rad skill and determination to be so good.
Skunk: Ah, and that is the most special thing about Undyne, not her spear, not her armour, but her pure determination, no other being apart from a human has ever used their determination.
Skel: But Undyne is the only monster who naturally can use determination to stay alive, and when she does, she achieves her ultimate form, Undyne The Undying.
Undyen's transformation into her Undying form is shown.
Undyne The Undying[]
- Increased Physical Abilities
- Can tank multiple hits from Chara
- Uses Determination to hold herself together, and keep fighting
- Her spears are faster, stronger, and come out much more frequently than normal
- Her initial HP increases by just over 15x (Base being 1500)
Skunk: Basically, she becomes much, much, MUCH more powerful, to the point her health is nearly 16x higher than her original.
Skel: Her spear attacks are stronger, she is harder to kill, she can take deadly hits, basically, she is nearly unstoppable, but the key word is "nearly"
Undyen's Flaws[]
- Still able to die like any other living thing
- Gives her enemy a spear to defend themselves with
- Hot temperatures can dry her out
- Armour is her main reason she is so tough
- Anything that can pierce armour, or ignore armour, will cause more damage
- Mostly skilled in fighting, and not other things, such as cooking and social skills
- Accidentally destroyed her own house
- Her Undying Form only is accessible if used for the right reason
- This mainly includes killing instead of protecting, so she cannot use it unless there is such a reason to do so
Skunk: Indeed, she isn't exactly the brightest when not fighting, she is still mortal, and her warrior spirit leaves her to give her foes a chance, instead of out-right killing them, and if she loses her armour, she is just as easy to gut as a normal fish.
Skel: She also cannot use her determination for the wrong reason, so unless there is someone needing saving, well, she can't exactly turn on her power in a snap.
Skunk: If she attempts to enter it, or uses her determination too much, her body will melt, leaving her soul, and shattering it.
Skel: Basically she is tenacious, tough, strong, and willing to do anything, but she still isn't perfect.
Skunk: So if you don't want to get on her bad side, be sure to spare her, have a nice chat with her, and make friends with her.
Skel: That's only in the pacifist route.
Skunk: Yeah but that is the best route.
Undyne is shown lifting a massive boulder, then throwing it.
Intermission[]
Skunk: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Skel: It's time for a Death Battle!!!
Fight[]
Location: Dark Temple
Moon Knight wanders through the damp, dark, thin halls of the temple, brushing his hand across the wall. He finally comes across a room, with moon light shining down, lighting it up. He walks into it, and finds himself sealed in the room, the pathway pulled in, and the platform rises. The is elevated to a higher level, and sees around the edges of the platform is a moat of some form. Suddenly, the water becomes uneven, and moves. Moon Knight watches as the water bubbles, waves, and sways around, until it stops. He walks to the edge where it stopped, and looks into the water. Silence follows. A loud splash comes from behind Moon Knight, and a thud.
???: You there, who are you, and why have you come here?
Moon Knight turns, seeing Undyne, in her full armour, wielding her spear in one hand, pointing the other at him. Moon Knight stands, unphased by the threat in front of him, the water still uneven from before.
Moon Knight, I am the Moon Knight, I have come here to investigate this place, for any threats and disruptions.
Undyne: I suggest you leave now, it is a temple created to store human souls collected by Asgore.
Moon Knight takes his Nun-Chucks out, and holds each handle in separate hands.
Moon Knight: Why don't you make me leave?
Undyne slams the dull end of her spear into the floor, making a slight thud, and the ground shake slightly.
Undyne: Very well, "Moon Knight"
Both of them put one foot forward, looking into each other's eyes.
Fight!
Both run forward, Moon Knight swinging his Nun-Chunks at Undyne, who blocks them with her spear. She rapidly moves her spear in the way of the swinging Nun-Chucks, and after a block that leaves Moon Knight briefly open, she slams the dull end of her spear into his neck, sending him back, and making him drop his weapons. Undyne kicks them off the rising platform. Moon Knight kicks up, getting back on his feet, and taking his staff out.
Moon Knight; I'm not so easily stopped.
He charges, slamming down his staff, which is blocked. Undyne and Moon Knight clash their weapons, pushing against each other. Undyne is able to push Moon Knight to the edge of the platform, and he leans back, nearly about to fall down, and grunting in frustration.
Undyne: Give up now, and I'll make your death quick and swift.
Moon Knight yells out, and headbutts Undyne, in the process, he loses balance, and falls down. As Undyne recovers from the hit, she looks back down, and his suddenly hit by a grapple hook to the front of her helmet, stunning her, and making her stumble backwards. The grappling hook attaches to the edge of the platform, and Moon Knight gets back up on it, retracting the grapple hook, and putting it away. He spins his staff around rapidly, and hits Undyne's helmet multiple times, many thunk and clank sounds heard.
Moon Knight: You cannot beat justice, I am a symbol of hope!
Moon Knight does a rising slam to Undyne's chin with his staff, sending her up into the air. Moon Knight uses the built in web shooters in his gauntlets, and shoots at Undyne, and they attach to her back. Moon Knight pulls, and Undyne is slammed into the floor, making a dent in it. Undyne gets up, tearing the webbing off. Moon Knight rushes, and slashes his claws on Undyne's armour. He does various combos of swings, kicks, punches and stabs, but then he gets stabbed in the shoulder with Undyne's spear.
Undyne: Enough of this!
Undyne then lifts up Moon Knight, and slams him down. She kicks him back, and then swings her spear, sending green energy at Moon Knight, who is confused when it causes no harm. Moon Knight realizes his legs don't work now.
Moon Knight: What...
Undyne sends a hail of spears at Moon Knight, but she tosses him a spear. He is easily able to block every spear, without breaking a sweat. Undyne stomps her foot, and swings her spear again, allowing Moon Knight to move again. Moon Knight throws the spear at Undyne, who catches it, and it vanishes. Moon Knight rapidly throws darts at Undyne, sticking in her armour. As she pulls them out, she looks back up, not seeing Moon Knight. He drops down from above, and kicks Undyne's helmet, denting it.
Undyne: Get off me!
Moon Knight jumps up, and tosses 3 flashbangs in front of Undyne, who looks down at them, unsure what they are. They go off, blinding her, and she screams out, covering her eyes. Moon Knight then takes his bow and arrows out, and fires at Undyne, one of them hitting her helmet. Eventually, her helmet is knocked off, revealing her head. The platform they are on then stops, and they both are atop a mountain surrounded by ocean. The clouds are dark, and thunder strikes down. Undyne takes out her spear, and slashes at Moon Knight, who blocks with his bracers, but they shatter from the force.
Undyne: I cannot lose!
Undyne stabs Moon Knight's neck, and kicks him down.
Undyne: I cannot be defeated!
Undyne then picks up Moon Knight by his neck, and lifts her spear up.
Undyne: I. Am. Undyne!
She swings, but Moon Knight catches the spear an inch from his face. The moon is revealed from behind the clouds, and it is full. Moon Knight looks at Undyne, and his eyes flash white under the hood.
Moon Knight: And I am Moon Knight.
Moon Knight shoves the spear into Undyne's eye, and she screams out, dropping Moon Knight. He takes out his sword, and swings it, cutting through Undyne's armour. Then, various thunder bolts strike in the background, each time one strikes, Moon Knight slashes Undyne in a blink, cutting her torso, face, neck, and other body parts. After several strikes, her whole front is shown to be mutilated by cuts. Moon Knight sticks his sword in her neck, and with a final, swift cut down, slices open her body, all her insides falling out, and her body melting, her soul left floating. Moon Knight grabs the soul, and crushes it in his hand. He looks at the blood on his blade, and flicks it off, putting it away, and looking at the moon.
K.O!
Conclusion[]
Skel: This final is 100% worthy of being a final, I gotta say that!
Skunk: This battle was fun to do, and fun to figure out, as each combatant was skilled in their own rights, but Moon Knight had the superior powers and skills to pull this off.
Skel: His ability to act unpredictably let him stay in the fight, as he could catch Undyne off guard plenty of times, even if she is the head royal guard, that doesn't mean she is the best fighter ever.
Skunk: Moon Knight has faced foes who were much more skilled, deadly, durable, and stronger than Undyne, he could hold against her, and his own weaponry let him deal good damage, not to mention his power of immortality is not the same as Undyne.
Skel: They both had some kind of immortality power, Moon Knight would just get revived, while Undyne had her Undying form, but the catch was it could be used only if they are, well, you know, in a very specific situation, while Moon Knight has no specific limit or restriction.
Skunk: Sure Undyne has faced Chara, who could one-shot many foes, and she took many hits from her, but Moon Knight's skills and experience against such a wide variety of foes meant he could easily adapt to Undyne.
Skel: Putting this short, Moon Knight was too experience, skilled, and familiar with how Undyne acted, that he could perfectly predict, counter, and eliminate her. She must feel gutted.
Skunk: The winner is Moon Knight!
