Miles Morales, also known as the "Kid Arachnid" and/or "Spider-Man", is a character from Marvel Comics. He is the Spider-Man of the Ultimate universe. He previously fought Static in the 120th episode of Death Battle, Miles Morales VS Static.

History[]

Originally from the Ultimate universe, Miles Morales is a middle school kid who ended up being bit by a spider created by Oscorp scientist Dr. Markus to recreate the Oz formula. While Morales wanted to live a normal life, the guilt brought by not preventing the death of his universe's version of Peter Parker forced him to take the mantle with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s support. But after the events of the Secret Wars, having met the mainstream universe's Spider-Man prior, Morales ends up a resident of the mainstream universe and becomes the acting Spider-Man of New York.

Flaws[]

  • He is inexperienced even compared to Peter Parker
    • Still unsure of how to use his powers effectively handicapping his abilities in a fight
    • Doesn't understand the gravity of his situations most of the time 
  • Formerly only camouflages when stressed or when he feels scared
  • He isn't as strong, quick, or experienced as the original Spider-Man
    • His Spider-Sense only warns him of immediate danger 
  • Has very little to no combat training, which leaves him to making tactical mistakes in a fight   
    • He himself admits that he relies purely on his reflexes and sometimes luck to compensate for his lack of skill.
    • As a result, he sometimes needs Peter's help whenever he fights a villain (Insomniac Games canon).
