Boomstick: But these freaks swear that they're not inpersonaters they're the real deal
Metal Sonic 3.0, Eggman Nega's own Sonic duplicate
Metal Sonic, "The one true Sonic"
Silver Sonic, the first robotic sonic
Hyper Metal Sonic, the not evil one
Mecha Sonic, the Scourge of the Master Emerald
And Robo Sonic, the Prototype Robot Sonic
These have all been tested and bested by Sonic, but which one is the closest to the real deal?
He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Metal Sonic 3.0[]
In an alternate universe, Eggman Nega watched Metal Sonic perform and fail to beat Sonic
So he said "Screw that, I can do better than Vanilla Eggman"
So he built his own version, a version supposedly better in everyway
A new Metal Sonic...Metal Sonic 3.0!
Being built to rival the original Metal Sonic-
This is like a double stack! 3.0 wants to be better than the Original while the Original want's to be better than Sonic
Well...yeah, but 3.0 should have the base moves of the original, and he's even shows proof of this; keeping pace with Metal Sonic and even Shadow
Base Shadow can run around speeds of 5.2 times the speed of light (As determined in Mephiles VS Antasma)
And given that they were all racing this seems like a good speed to put 3.0
Silver was able to restrain and take hits from Shadow
Something 3.0 was able to do
And Silver is crazy strong, able to withstand forces capable of over 2.9 Yottatons (Determined in and Converted from Silver VS Raven) and Shadow could hurt him
Putting 3.0's strength and durability in perspective
He can also lift up to 1,000,000 tons
Being Metal Sonic's clone he can copy abilities by scanning opponents
And boy did he use this ability
He copied notably three abilties
Silver the Hedgehog's ESP which can be used to induce vertigo
Espio the Chameleon's ability to turn invisible and increase speed
And Shadow the Hedgehog's Chaos Control, without a Chaos Emerald!
With this he can slow down time and teleport
He can survive extreme cold and extreme heat as well as the radiation in space
And by extreme heat we mean around 5,778 K
And for not nerds, 9,940.7°F
Given that we've seen him use them, he also has Sonic's signature moves, like the Spin Attack, Dash and, Homing Attack
Much like Nega built him for, if Metal Sonic 3.0 runs into you, you better beg for mercy
He has no mercy

Metal Sonic[]
When Eggman had first grabbed little planet and kidnapped Amy Rose, he knew Sonic would be lured in
But what Sonic didn't know is that Eggman had a plan, to trap him and force him to race against a monster that matched even his speed
Even though Sonic won their first race, he would never forget the name that cropped up to challenge him over and over again
And that robots name was Metal Sonic
Metal Sonic constantly is challenging Sonic, matching his speed and even surpassing it sometimes
Shadow has stated that Sonic is definitely faster than him, with his own words, after already having raced him
This puts Metal Sonic's top speed at least 5.2 times the speed of light, and likely faster
And being able to fight Shadow means he too can tank and deliver forces of 2.9 Yottatons of TNT!
He's as strong if not stronger than Sonic in terms of his lifting strength
Sonic at that point has pushed up to 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 (100 quintillion) tons!
Which is insane
And he has some cool ass powers too
He of course has some of Sonic's signature moves like the Spin Dash and Attack as well as the Homing Attack
He even juiced up the Homing Attack to his own unique move, the Light Speed Attack, which hits everything in the vicinity
This attack is likely faster than it's name implies, and on the topic of his own abilities, his Black Shield does exactly what you'd expect
And he has this electric attack which makes a lightning forcefield that can fire two giant beams of pure electricity
This attack tired him out in his Classic Form but in his new Modern Form he can use it much easier
And he his Maximum Overdrive where he overloads himself circuitry to form an energy shield and rocketing himself forward at four times his normal speed
At the very least he MUST be moving 20.8 times the speed of light!
Not bad, not bad at all
Using his own copying abilities he's able to use Chaos Control and Chaos Spear without a Chaos Emerald
Use previously discussed abilities like ESP and Chroma Camo
With Bat Guard he'll robotic bombs in the shape of bats
Hammer Punch makes tremors and cracks the ground
Knuckle Slam will trigger fiery shockwaves
He's also copied Chaos' data, y'know the giant water monster that needed Super Sonic to defeat it!
On the contrary, Modern Sonic can beat Perfect Chaos without being Super, and Metal can fight on par with him still
So Metal Sonic has surpassed Perfect Chaos?
Indeed, he even made himself a giant monster which needed all of Team Sonic in their super forms to beat him
So Metal Sonic should really be named Metal Badass?

Silver Sonic[]
When Doctor Ivo Robotnik first saw the Blue Blur in action he knew he must replicate his speed and power, this was his first attempt
He really armed this thing for battle! When he first sent him after Sonic he started to kick his ass
Only to be defeated but he still put on a show that shocked Eggman with how well he performed
And the fans dubbed him, Silver Sonic
In their battle he was actually able to outspeed Classic Sonic
Using the time Classic Sonic fought Eggman's machine in Oil Ocean we can deduce that Classic can move 626,340,400 mph, or around 93% the speed of light
And that Silver Sonic can move faster
Now before you say "But Wiz and Boomstick, Classic Sonic is way faster than that!"
Good Point Boomstick, cause at this point Sonic's highest feat of speed was against that invention
He's also able to push 10 tons
He can tank hits from Classic Sonic who had defeated machines powered by a Chaos Emerald
Given that at the time not many Sonic Characters knew how to tap into the full potential of the Chaos Emeralds we'll be generous and say they were only using about half or 1.4 yottatons of TNT worth of force
He can also fire spikes that catch even Sonic off guard
These spikes travel faster than Sonic or Silver Sonic were moving in their battle
But other than that, his only abilities consist of spinning fast and dashing forward
And unlike other versions of Robotic Sonic's this one's only purpose is to defeat Sonic, no higher thinking is possible for him
That means no complex strategies or anything, only a rapid mix of abilities
Unfortunately that means if an opponent is smart enough they can read his attacks and react accordingly, precisely how Sonic had beaten him
Either way Eggman was still confident in this machine
So confident in fact that he was genuinly shocked to see him lose, that he barely had enough time to make it to his Death Egg Robot, this is a point to bring up cause Eggman had previously fought Sonic 14 times
But yeah, what a great first romp for a Sonic Robot!

Hyper Metal Sonic[]
In the planet of Mobius, in the land of Darkness, Robotnik created the ultimate invention
But first he needed the essential life data from his counterpart
After a reasonably unwilling life data donation; soon he was complete
Hyper Metal Sonic
First up is calculating speed
Hyper flew across the planet in a short amount of time
Based on the size of the planet and the time it took for him to cross it we can deduce he can move up to Mach 355
And when he Revvs up he can blitz Sonic using the Peel Out
Given the speed of the Peel Out being faster than base OVA Sonic's speed, who is as fast as Hyper, Hyper is at least Mach 887
I'll do you one better Wiz

Hyper's revving let him match Sonic' SUPER Peel Out pitting Hyper's Revving speed at Mach 1,065
Hm...Impressive Boomstick
Hell yeah it is
In Sonic and Hyper's fight they knocked a mountain down, one of the had to have done it and they traded punched
Measuring the size of it with dumb numbers puts this feat with a force of 4.6 Megatons of TNT, and what's better, it was an accident!
So that's his striking strength and durability
And he has his own abilties!
He can fire energy projectiles
He can also create after images
He uses this to confuse people he fights
Like the Flash in that CW show
He also has a shield that he can use as a battering ram
He can also fly with it
He's also intelligent; he adopted Sonic's personality ,thanks to Tails, and saved two people in his final moments
Ugh...Sappy shit
As he fell into a volcano, Sonic tried to save him, but he rejected his hand; as in his words "There can be only one Sonic"
Screw that! I would've taken it! Have use seen how painful lava is?!
Maybe, he realized that this world wasn't meant for him, and he was a bigger danger than he wanted to be
Who cares?!
Maybe more nuanced themes aren't made for your meat brain

Mecha Sonic[]
The Angel Island, a floating...Island where the Master Emerald resides
So Eggman wanted to steal it obviously
Once he had taken it he needed something to distract Sonic, a...Mecha Sonic
Wait- Where's Mario? And why isn't he a god?
This is the Canon one
Oh...lame
So anyway, he was a distraction
But of course Sonic made it past and Mecha Sonic had to pick up the scraps
Mecha Sonic and Eggrobo formulated a plan to steal the Master Emerald from Knuckles himself
And he had the tools to do so
For one this machine not only fought Sonic and Tails 3 separate times, he also fought Knuckles twice
Meaning it can take a beating for sure
It's also able to blitz Sonic, taking him completely by surprise in their first bout
Once again, Classic Sonic can move and react to speed going around 93% the speed of light! And Mecha Sonic surprised him!
He can lift up to 10 tons
But when he gets a hold of the Master Emerald, all hell breaks loose
When he's in his Super Form he can't be harmed by any of the Classic Trio, 2.8 yottatons of TNT worth of force, doesn't do a thing
When in this form Knuckles can't keep up with him whatsoever
While Classic Knuckles isn't as fast as Classic Sonic, he's still only about 25% slower than him or 70% the speed of light
Even in his base form Knuckles was able to react to fight against him despite being faster, but this was too much
He could also launch pulses of Chaos Energy
Though it only lasts a short time, he can instantly get it back by grabbing the Master Emerald again, especially since even while absorbing the energy he's invulnerable
While he can't harness the full power of it he can at least tap into it enough to siphon of enough power to match the power of the Chaos Emeralds
And being able to plan an attack on Knuckles and the Master Emerald along with an Egg Robo means he's pretty smart too

(Listen we all know this one barely has any information on it so please be kind to me and not force me to stretch his bio to 350, unless it does and this was useless, i'm leaving this here when I count by the way)
One-day Eggman stole a Chaos Emerald and Kidnapped Tails
And as Sonic relentlessly pursued after his best friend he came upon him, a Robo Sonic, hey Wiz
Yeah?
Would you fight a robotic version of you to save me?
Mmm...i'll keep you posted
Taking that as a yes, glad to you know you have my back

Good to know...
Anyway, this thing put up quite a high speed fight against Sonic
This machine was fast enough to match Sonic's speed and power, pushing each other back when they clashed
Based on Sonic's speed at the time of their battle we can say that Robo Sonic is 60% the speed of light
Or, 405,720,000 mph
Which is crazy fast, for a prototype
He is also powered by a Chaos Emerald, though he isn't as strong as one, given that Sonic and Robo were equal in strength; we deduced Sonic's strength
Sonic at the time had yet to battle anything using a Chaos Emerald, he hadn't even figured out to harness them yet
So we're pitting the attacking power at 700 Zetatons of TNT, which also is equal to his durability
And he can even fly!
He also has an extendable arm
He revvs up and dashes forward
When in his ball form he has control of where he's going, as long as he can bounce off of a wall
Later incarnations can even use the spin dash
Something the original couldn't, however the newer incarnations are still as tough as the original, given as how their ball form is no longer invincible and are easily overpowered by the Classic gang and can be one-shot by them too
Damn, that's lame you'd think if Eggman brought him back he'd have made them stronger

Pre-Battle[]
Alright, with the combatants all set and the data run through all possibilities, let's end this debate once and for all
It's time for a Death battle!
Battle[]
Metal Sonic: On a computer
Computer: Warning, potential multiversal shenanigans may be involved in this action
Metal Sonic: Slams a button
The computer makes a loud sound
Computer: Action complete, but look behind you
All the Metal Sonic’s are here
Hyper: Dodges the extendo arm and slams Robo’s head downward before grabbing the arm and swinging it overhead and slams him into the ground
Silver and Mecha dash at each other
Mecha: Side-steps and sticks his arm out
Silver: Flung forward, over Robo
Robo: Grabs him with the extending arm and swings him into Hyper
Hyper: Hit into a wall
Metal and 3.0 fly into each other and clash all over the area as blue and black streaks before they freeze while charging into her
Mecha: Grabs Robo and slams him into the ground several times
Hyper: Creating an afterimage to bait Silver into attacking the wrong direction, before grabbing him from behind and throws him straight at Mecha
Mecha: Hit back and retaliates by throwing Robo
Robo: Spins into a ball
Hyper: Hit into the wall again
Mecha: About to charge at them
Silver: Revved up and spinned into him
Mecha: Scratched some and spins into a ball bouncing onto him
Robo: Wailing on Hyper before disappearing
Hyper: Sparking with wires showing
3.0: Flying forward with Robo now on his face and forces him into a ball and throws him at Metal
Metal: Hits him back
Metal and 3.0 get into a “tennis” match with Robo as the ball
Mecha and Silver are bashing into each other in their ball forms
Hyper: Targeting at them and fires at them
Mecha and Silver see the projectile coming towards them, Mecha blocks it while Silver dodges it
Mecha: Dashes at him
Mecha and Hyper get into a brief scuffle before Mecha takes the upper-hand and grabs his head and legs and rips Hyper in half, throwing the lower half at Silver and dropping the head
Silver: Destroys the legs before he’s hit hard into the wall, a view from his visor shows a crack
Robo: Uncurls from his ball all dented up
Mecha: Looks at where he came from
Metal and 3.0 are in a stand-off before starting to ram each other other again
Robo: Has some spines stuck in him and extends his arm
Silver: Grabs it and yanks him toward him and headbutts him into the ground
Mecha: About to rocket towards them
Hyper: Grabs his leg and slams him into the wall
Mecha: Surprised
Hyper: Slowly floats up, all banged up with his legs and some of his torso gone, and forms his shield and rams into him several times
Mecha: Dives to the side and slams Hyper into the wall trying to break the shield, slamming through the shield
Hyper: Creates an after-image and dashes behind him all revved up and fires the largest blast he can muster
Mecha: Sparking some and turns grabbing his face and slams him into the wall and drags him up and spins around
Silver and Robo are bashing each other in their ball forms
Robo: Uncurls all cut up and sparking
Silver: Goes to attack him before getting hit to the side
Mecha: Used Hyper’s head as a weapon and drops him to the floor
Hyper: His head is split open as sparks fly everywhere There can be-
Mecha: Stomps on his head, splitting it in half, to dispose of him for good this time
Robo: Sparking too but grabs Mecha with his arm and slams him into Silver
Mecha: Spins around while being flung and grabs the arm flinging him instead ripping the arm off
Robo: In the air
Metal: Flies into him while rushing away from 3.0 and forms him into a ball and hurls him back down
Robo: Catches fire as he rockets down
Mecha and Silver are in another brawl
Mecha: Notices Robo rocketing towards them and forces Silver in the way
Robo makes contact and causes a huge explosion
Mecha drops Silver
Silver: Falls to his knees
Mecha: Stomps on his legs and rips his head clean off, picking the Chaos Emerald Robo was powered by up
3.0 and Metal land after sensing the power
Metal: Dashes up to Mecha and rips the Emerald away and throws Mecha at 3.0
Mecha and 3.0 get into a short scuffle before a glowing green light illuminates the area
Metal: Carried the Master Emerald over from another area of the ship and used it to summon to other Chaos Emeralds and forms a large electrical shield and is tackled by seemingly nothing
3.0: Uninvis’ and shrugs off the yellow sparks surrounded him
Metal: Throws 3.0 off and uses a Homing Attack
Mecha: Hops onto the Master Emerald and charges up, jumping and firing an Energy Sphere
3.0: Hit forward and looks back
Mecha: Flies into him
Metal: Knocks 3.0 off Mecha and grabs Mecha by the neck and starts punching his face
Mecha: Charges up and fires
Metal: Blasted
Mecha: Doing his laughing sound before the superform wears off
Metal and 3.0 charge towards him clash with him in between and he explodes
Metal: Catches Mecha’s head and smashes it with his hands
3.0: Finds Silver’s head and throws it at Metal
Metal: Hits it so hard it explodes
The two remaining bots ram each other
Metal: Launches bat bombs at him
3.0: Weaves around them as they explode behind him and slams Metal downard
Metal: Has a dent in his head and flies back up with a slash upward
3.0: He has cuts in his metal
They both stare at each other sparking
Metal: Uses Maximum Overdrive and creates an electrical field and charges
3.0: Charges too
They clash and dash past each other in one-strike
Everything slows as they drift further apart
3.0: Suddenly splits in half and explodes
Metal: Lands on the ground, dented with a nasty gash on his torso, sparking some as the power shuts off with only his eyes illuminated
K.O.!!!
Results[]
Well, looks like there’s only one now
This battle was fairly clear cut
Hyper and Robo definitely weren’t winning for one thing
And while Silver and Mecha had better fire power they weren’t even close, Silver was too slow and Mecha’s high powered form didn’t last long enough
But what about 3.0? Wasn’t he made to be better than Metal in every way?
While he was MADE to be better, clear evidence shows that it didn’t work, for one Metal’s arsenal was way better than 3.0’s and he even beat him in their canon fight
And he has more experience, he’s fought Sonic several times for years
Metal was so skilled enough and powerful enough to not even need his Metal Overlord form
It looks like there can only be one METAL Sonic
The Winner is Metal Sonic
