Mercury's real name is Pietro Allen. He is an amalgamation of Marvel's Quicksilver and DC Comic's Impulse. He appears in the Amalgam Comics series.

History[]
Pietro Allen was born and lived in a far-off alternate future, where he was hunted by the robotic, metamutant-hunting Sentinels. One day he discovered a way to time travel, and used this new method to travel to the past. In the past, he found the Judgment League Avengers recruiting new members for a superhero team called the New Blood. With the assistance from superheroes: Apollo, Firebird, and Runaway. He was able to destroy the Sentinels that were hunting him. Afterward, Pietro gave himself the superhero name Mercury and joined the JLA.
