Wiz: Darkness, it's as mysterious as it is dangerous
Boomstick: And it's also just cool as hell
And these two will go to any lengths to spread their darkness
Like, Mephiles the Dark, the monster that beat Shadow and killed Sonic
And Antasma, the Nightmare that stole the Dark Stone
He's Wiz and l'm Boomstick
And it's our duty to analyze their armor weapons and skills to find out who would win a Deathbattle

10 years ago the King of Soleanna wished to tame the sun god Solaris
And he got close too, him an his nerdy team had it contained
But Solaris refused to listen to them until one day it had had enough and while caused a fatal error
Killing everyone immediately except for the King
Solaris was split into two halves, one was contained inside Princess Elise by Silver the Hedgehog
And the other was contained into the Scepter of Darkness by Shadow the Hedgehog
The day it was sealed it had sworn that it would remember Shadow's face
Then 10 years later Egghead had found it
Where it got destroyed and it had resurrected itself using Shadow's...shadow
Where he made true to his promise and remembered his face, where he gave him a one-way ticket to oblivion

Mephiles is incredibly strong, like the time he beat Team Dark by himself after he stopped toying with them
Mephiles casually out-speeds Shadow, who can move at speed's 5.2 times the speed of light
And measuring how long it takes for Shadow to cross the same distance Mephiles did takes him 3 times longer makes him 15.6 times the speed of light!
He's at least as strong as Sonic or Shadow who can push 4,838.1 tons
He can regenerate from nothing short of complete eradication
Not even that, he's supposedly survived his complete eradication from the Sonic the Hedgehog timeline
And he can turn into someone elses shadow to negate all damage
Unless things are lit up to wear he'd be forced out
He even has force-fields strong enough to ignore blows from Shadow
Shadow can utilize the full potential of a Chaos Emerald, in which only one still has enough power to exert a force of 2,980,732.5 Exatons of TNT
We could calculate how strong Mephiles would have to be to take out Team Dark, spoilers, very
But instead we calculated the time he KILLED Sonic, in one-hit
Sonic can feasibly take the force of eighty-six octillion tons of TNT, and he was fine, as well as everyone else cause they were in a place where they physically shouldn't be able to exist!!
And Mephiles killed him, like it was nothing
He's also a mega genius, playing even Eggman and Tails, who have IQ's of 300
He can resist being sealed away, takes no effect to extreme cold and cosmic radiation
He can send massive homing balls at people
Without any Chaos Emeralds he can travel through time and others too
Not just time, but dimensions too!
Truly, nothing will stop Mephiles from getting his way

Many years ago, on the island of Pi'illo
Like...Pillow?

That's so damn stupid
Well, on Pi'illo, lived a bat man

Ugh...anyway he was feeding of the nightmares of the island, which turned him into a living infestation of nightmare itself
Then he got power hungry and stole the Dark Stone and waged war
They had managed to defeat and seal him into the Dream World
But he pulled a bitch move and shattered the Dark Stone, it's pieces rained down and caused to collapse of the civilization, bummer
So the name Antasma was forgotten until the Mario Bros. came along

While his bat form is nothing impressive
Nothing Impressive?! He can lift Bowser who weighs 1,200 pounds!
Yes but that's literally the only thing of note, in the dream world however in the Dream World his power is drastically increased
He can fight on par with Mario
Though he lost every time
Give him a break Wiz, Mario was imbued with Dreamy Luigi!
Well this is true, though Dreamy Luigi only exists in the dream world, an as such scaling accurately is hard
But he can flip the world upside down
It's unclear whether or not this was illusions or not
Who cares about that if it still works!
He can trap denizens of the dream world into his orbs that can heal him
Any attack he hits with will put people to sleep
Even if you're inside the dream world
With the Dark Stone can erase people from existence
He can tank hits and damage Mario who can tank direct punches from Bowser, who can crack planets
Bowser is stronger than Yoshi who can hit with a force of 149.69 teratons of TNT (As determined in Piccolo VS Yoshi)
Meaning Antasma is more powerful than that
And Mario imbued with Dreamy Luigi can hit harder than that so Antasma is more durable than he is powerful
He can duplicate himself and create force-fields
He can survive extreme cold and cosmic radiation
Can react on par with Mario
But like all awesome things, there's a catch
Antasma must be in the dream world to achieve this power, he's rather weak in the real world only keeping his speed
But that doesn't matter when he can just warp himself and others there
He's also a genius who makes calculated decisions to avoid making any mistakes
So he's powerful AND smart, best of both worlds; even if power is better

Alright, with the combatants all set and the data run through all possibilities, let's end this debate once and for all
It's time for a Death battle!

In a realm outside normalacy the two creatures of darkness are conversing
Mephiles: I understand, you were close to achieving your goal, that's almost impressive
Antasma: Vut? Almost vell is seems you've vailed too
Mephiles: I didn't fail, I won, I've beaten the Ultimate Lifeform and the Blue Wind; you lost to a plumber
Antasma: Vell! If you're so convident! Then face me!
Mephiles: Hmph, very well, let's see if you can; entertain me
Mephiles: Fires an energy spike
Antasma: Flies out of the way and flies into him several time in his bat form
Mephiles: Grabs him Insect Throws him away and fires dark balls at him
Antasma: Flies in around them and makes a portal to the dream world Vace me in the Dream World vhere I vill be at vull strength!
Mephiles: Flies in No-matter you will still be crushed
Antasma: Grows to his final form But is vill be YOU who valls! Forms clones to attack him
Mephiles: Forms his own clones
The clones start to battle each other
Antasma: Fires an energy ball
Mephiles: Fires his own to counter
Antasma: Eats an Antasmunchie and powers up
Mephiles: Fires upon them to destroy some Sink into darkness! The ground grows black as the monster Mephiles clones form
Antasma: Uses his claw can to hit Mephiles upwards and forms an energy ball and shoves it in his face launching him away as Antasclones swoop in to hit him to keep him in the air, as Mephiles Clones pile upon him and explode Owah! Gah! You vool! I still haff hit hit you, now sleep
Mephiles: Launches a pulse wave to destroy the Antasclones No fires another spike at him
Antasma: Shrinks back down to dodge and regrows to strength No-matter I vill still win even if you’re immune to sleeping
Mephiles: Your confidence is misplaced, unlike mine, this only proves that you’re upset a porky plumber and a cowardly plumber have defeated you
Antasma: Silence fool! I am Antasma! The king of the dreamvorld! With the Dark Stone I vill defeat you! Reveals it and uses its power to seal him away Hahaha!
Mephiles: Breaks free Pathetic Disappears
The Mephiles Clones and they all fly towards him
Antasma: Starts destroying them
Mephiles: Just his voice It doesn’t matter how many of them you defeat you know
Antasma: Show yourselv! Coward! Creates a beam of light using to Dark Stone to see better
Mephiles: Gah!
Antasma: Grabs him and squeezes forming energy balls in that same that explode in his face, over and over and over, using his other hand to eat the Antasmunchies to power-up as he keeps blasting his face
The Mephiles clones start to overwhelm the Antasclones not through numbers but through power
Mephiles: Starts laughing
Antasma: You dare laff at the hands of me?!
Mephiles: Does another pulse wave to get himself out of the grasp
Antasma: I vill erase you forever! Uses the Dark Stone to eradicate him
Mephiles: Simply reappears Such power, color me impressed, but what is your power...compared to limitless power
Antasma: Limitless?!
Mephiles: Now, let me show you, my power Disappears and reappears
Antasma: What haff you done?
Years ago
Past Antasma: Suddenly grabbed by Mephiles and brought somewhere Vut?! Vho are you?
Mephiles: You’ll see Leaves
Past Antasma: Vut?! Suddenly a big bang occurs which eradicates him

Antasma:...Gah! He starts fading Vut is this?! What haff you done?!

Antasma: Fades away with a death scream

This was so damn cool!
Antasma was a very formidable foe with immense power, but Mephiles had him beat
Like how Mephiles could actually win his battles against the heroes
Antasma could go for awhile with Mario and Dreamy Luigi, while Mephiles could beat not only Shadow but the entirety of Team Dark, along with killing Sonic the Hedgehog
They’re both incredibly powerful
Though neither of them could ever physically kill each other
They’re just too durable
Making their striking strengths no-matter how big were useless
But how did Mephiles win?
The victor is in the fine details
But Antasma can seal him away or erase him from existence
Mute points as Mephiles has survived both of those before, while Mephiles could take him back in time, which Antasma can’t do or reverse
Why couldn’t Antasma just return to the dreamworld after Mephiles takes him to a dangerous place
Mephiles is a genius and would know to grab an Antasma from the past and destroy that one, before Antasma could travel freely
But you just said he was too durable
Again, Mephiles would plan for that, he'd grab Antasma when he was still a normal person
But isn’t Antasma smart too?
Well yes, but while Mephiles outsmarted not one but two people with 300 IQ’s, while Antasma was tricked by Bowser...who is frankly...a total idiot
So Mephiles was smarter and had a way past Antasma’s durability? While Antasma’s ways were countered by Mephiles?
