Mega Man X Vs. Generator Rex is Episode 17 of ThunderStar20's Death Battles, pitting X from the Mega Man franchise against Rex Salazar from the series Generator Rex.

Metroid: Mega Man X, the Greatest Creation of Dr. Light, and Expert Maverick Hunter.
Thunder: And Rex Salazar, the EVO Providence member and Fighter against Nanites!
Metroid: Machines don't make a man...but when the man is part or fully Machine, that's a different story.
Thunder: Especially when robo viruses run amuck. He's Metroid and I'm Thunder!
Metroid: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Mega Man X Nova Strikes DEATH BATTLE![]
Metroid: In the year 20XX, a brilliant scientist named Dr. Light made advancements to robotics. His plan was a grand one; for humans and robots to co-exist in peace, and harmony.
Thunder: Yeah, I kinda doubt that would work. Especially with how he had a fellow scientist who was extremely jealous; Dr. WIly! The asshole decided if he couldn't be the popular one; he'd take Light's robots for himself! With them reprogrammed. the world was thrown into hell! And...more evidence humans are just asses.
Metroid: But, ultimately, Light would have someone willing to take up the call to save all; Rock; otherwise known as Mega Man. But after awhile, Light began to build another robot; one meant to surpass the original Mega Man.
Thunder: Just in case, y'know, Rock made a slip up and died horribly, or something. And I think you know who this one is; Mega Man X!

Metroid: Designed to be a robot able to think, feel, and decide for himself, Dr. Light knew things could ho haywire if went unchecked. Knowing life is fleeting, Dr. Light sealed him away to have morality tests for years. 30 years later, an archaeologist named Dr. Cain came across the pod X was sealed in, and let him out.
Thunder: And to sum it up, X became the template for a new series of robots; Reploids! These bots were human-like, and yeah, Cain started a new age of peace....then terror, since the robots began to become violent.
Metroid: This is what you call a Maverick; it could be due to programming errors, bugs, issues with robotic brain, or just that they're nuts. As a result; Reploids that weren't Maverick and wished to fight them were known as Maverick Hunters.
Thunder: And despite X being a...pacifist...dude joined to protect humans from harm. And while he was hesitant to pull the trigger at first, he started to warm up to taking down bad guys, with great weapons to boot!
Metroid: X has the X Buster, or the Mega Buster MK 17. It fires condensed blasts of solar energy, and the shots can be charged to deal greater damage. If things have to get up close, X can use Zero's Z-Saber, a energy sword X can use for quick rapid slashes, fire energy waves, or even reflect projectiles. Both weapons are capable of blasting and slicing through Ceratanium with ease.
Thunder: But when X kills a Maverick he can take their powers, giving him a bigger and bigger arsenal! Like you know, the original Mega Man. For instance, Shotgun Ice can shoot ice shards that freeze opponents, or when charged, makes a sled X can on in while damaging foes. With Electric Spark, he fires a sphere of electricity that, when touches a wall, splits into two and runs up and down! And if he charges it, it creates a brust of electricity!
Metroid: With Rolling Shield, X can create projectiles that roll across the ground, or create a barrier that protects him from weaker attacks and takes the blow of a deadly one when charged. With Homing Torpedo, X fires...well, Homing Torpedoes. If charged, he fires six fish shaped torpedoes that are fast, but lose homing abilities.
Thunder: With Boomerang Cutter, X throws a sharp boomerang that can also grab items out of reach, and charged up makes four energy blade fly around X in ....X formation. Chameleon Sting fires an electric blot that splits into three, but if charged it turns X temporarily invulnerable to his foes!
Metroid: With Storm Tornado, X fires a tornado at a horizontal angle, and when charged, X creates a giant tornado in where he stands, damaging any foe in near, above, or below. With Fire Wave, he essentially gets a flamethrower. It strong enough to burn through structures and can be charged into a fireball that leaves a trail of flames on the ground. Although it is unusable underwater.
Thunder: With Sonic Slicer, X fires off two waves of energy that bounce off walls till they hit someone! And if he charges it, he fires five energy blades into the air then they eventually rain down! With Strike Chain, X fires a chain that damages foes, grabs items or pulls X to a wall! And with Spin Wheel he fires a disc that crawls across any surface, cutting suckers down, and when charged, Spin Wheel, that immediately explodes into 8 bursts of energy that fire in all directions!
Metroid: With Bubble Splash, X fires a stream of bubbles, or creates a barrier of bubbles X can use to jump high. With Speed Burner, X fires two fireballs that spin around each other, or two drones if done underwater. If charged, X will coat himself in flames and charge forth through the air. With Scrap Shot, X fires garbage that typically explodes into sharpnel. If charged it will attract massive amounts of garbage as a shield before firing it off.
Thunder: With the Magnet Mine, X fires a mine that can be manipulated vertically, and instantly detonates upon enemy contact! When charged...it turns into a fucking black hole that grows bigger with the more stuff it absorbs! With Crystal Hunter, X fires a liquid that can crystalize foes, then he can shatter them with a dash or use 'em as a platform. If charged it slows down time!
Metroid: With Parasitic Bomb, X fires off a charge that sticks to foes. It he charges this, it instead fires a mechanical hornet. Frost Shield fires a ice shard that splits into three, it creates a shield of ice that protects X from attacks before sliding across the ground when charged. With Gravity Well, he fires a gravity ball that crushes anything that gets too close, and when charged X fires it upwards to make a black hole that sucks foes upwards.
Thunder: He can fite bursts of acid with...well, Acid Burst, electrocute people with Triad Thunder, Lightning Web, Tri-Thunder, Volt Tornado, and Thunder Dancer, and shoot bladed projectiles like Spinning Blade, Twin Slasher, C-Shot, Spike Ball, and Shadow Runner!
Metroid: With Tornado Fang, Sniper Missile or Green Spinner, X can fire missiles. With Marine Tornado, X can create giant tornados. With Bomb Bee, Ground Hunter, F-Laser, and Yammar Option, he sends out robotic drones to aid him in battle.
Thunder: With Ray Claw and Magma Blade, X is able to fight up close better, and use wind based attacks with Double Cyclone, Wind Spiral and Wind Cutter! And hell he can make multiple clones with Soul Body!
Metroid: He can attack with fire with Rising Fire, Ground Fire, Circle Blaze, Melt Creeper, attack with ice with Frost Tower, Goo Shaver, Ice Burst, and Drift Diamond, and attack with water with Meteor Rain or Splash Laser.
Thunder: He can chuck boulders with Ground Dash, anchors or statues with Metal Anchor, wheels with Moving Wheel, explosive energy with Explosion, and Squeeze Bomb causes Black Holes! He can shield himself with Gaea Shield, Guard Shell and Crystal Wall, and if the time calls for it, he can just stop time with Dark Hold! And even resist other time stoppers!
Metroid: However, X also has various armors he can equip in battle, and can do so mid battle if an opening cutscene is any proof. His first armor is called the Armor of Light, which grant X better durability, the ability charge his buster to a greater level of strength, and destroy blocks with headbutt and ignore blocks dropped onto his head.
Thunder: The Falcon Armor sadly sacrifices power for mobility. It does however, let X use special weapons with less ammo consumption, increases durability, and can allows ui. To use Giga Attack where he uses Spear Charge Shots everywhere, and those can shatter shield and terrain! It can also air-dash to damage foes!
Metroid: The Gaea has more power and defensive over mobility, letting him cling to walls without sliding, walk on spikes, and makes his charge shots stronger, and lows him to do a Giga Attack where he shoots out a giant energy ball from his hands. However, this armor restricts his ability to use special weapons.
Thunder: The Blade Armor is more speed based, but utilizes the Z-Saber, which is now on the X-Buster! He can cut through projectiles with this armor on, use the Mach Dash which freezes X in place before he flies forward, damaging foes in his wake. It reduces energy consumption and increases ammo as well, and use a Giga Attack where he swings the Z-Saber, firing of waves of energy!
Metroid: But all pair in comparison to the Ultimate Armor. With it, X has unlimited ammo, reduces damage by half, and allows him to perform the Nova Strike technique, where X surrounds himself with energy before propelling himself forward, making him completely invulnerable.
Thunder: Oh, and he can even perform the Hadoken and Shoryuken! Which can even one shot Sigma, who was X's former boss gone Maverick....who he had to kill like ten times.
Metroid: And when it comes to physicality, X isn't a slouch. He should capable to Lumine, who' destroy a sun. According to a calculation, thus would be the energy of 1.052e47 Joules; enough to wipe out a Solar System, and X can trade blows with her just fine.
Thunder: And X has even outran black holes, which should no surprise since he's superior to the original Mega Man, who can do the same! Massively FTL X, baby!
Metroid: But despite this, X never seemed able to end all the fighting. The wars would constantly happen, new Mavericks would arise, and everything kept repeating.
Thunder: He even retired due to not wanting to fight anymore, but most people hate X7 so we ain't gonna talk too much about it.
Metroid: But eventually, X got a weapon that allowed him to end the fighting; the Mother Elf. This powerful weapon can rewrite the code of any robotic being; turning them peaceful or even into weaker robots. But admittly the fighting didn't stop; as soon the Mavericks still came despite X destroying the Sigma Virus permanently .
Thunder: And then the Mother Elf kinda got corrupted and became evil, so X had to use his own body to seal it away, becoming an A.I. like ghost.
Metroid: And even though this happened, X would still aid the world, helping an amnesiac Zero 200 years later and sacrificing himself to save him, all in hopes humanity and reploids can live in peace together.
Thunder: And when you think about it...he technically pulled it off! Carbons may be after humanity went out, but they're still technically both humans and reploids souls, and the groundwork of them living together. X's technically got what he wanted in the end. Rest in peace, buddy. You got your wish.
"You plan to take revenge on every Reploid... Every human... in the entire world? You're completely mad! I'm putting a stop to this right now!"
Generator Rex makes way into DEATH BATTLE![]
Metroid: Five years ago, an explosion happened that released various Nanites into the air. As a result, every living being on the planet became infused with these, essentially, micromachines.
Thunder: I would be happy everyone is a semi-cyborg, but there's one little flaw; the nanites can make a dude mutate badly!
Metroid: These mutations are called EVO, and are essentially monsters with no memory of who they once were. As a result. Providence came to be. a special force designed to face EVOs wherever they attack.
Thunder: Think of them as Ghostbusters from robot mutants. But not EVOs are bad, one of them is even their secret weapon! Meet Rex Salazar!

Metroid: When Rex was young, he was found by Agent Six during a mission, and at the same time, both discovered Rex had a bizarre ability; the ability to heal EVOs.
Thunder: So after a rather rough dispute between White Knight and Agent Six, Rex was enlisted as the Providence's Secret Weapon. And trust us when we say he definitely doesn't disappoint!
Metroid: Rex's EVO powers allows him to make machines on his body, acting as an extension of himself since he does feel pain when they get destroyed. And with this, Rex has various "builds" he makes for combat, or mundane scenarios.
Thunder: When he's in a crazy battle, Rex typically starts with the Smack Hands, giant mechanical hands that punch, smash, butchslap, or grapple foes into submission!
Metroid: Or the Combat Drill, which acts as both a weapon Rex can utilize, and as a way to travel underground, whether for getaways or chase after those going underground. According to Rex, it has a horsepower of 7,500.
Thunder: There's also the Slam Cannon, where Rex pulls out chunks of the ground and fires it out as a projectile! It can even fire out people! He also has a giant mechanical sword called the BFS that lets him slash and clash against other EVOs! And uh, sadly, the f word isn't the F in BFS.
Metroid: Rex can make a buzzsaw called the Battle Saw, which is large enough to cut through building sized EVOs. With Rex Ride, his legs form into a vehicle he can drive with minimal effort.
Thunder: With the Punk Busters, Rex grows giant mechanical feet to punt suckers like soccer balls! He can activate the jet boosters to increase the strength and speed, leaps hundreds of feet into the air or across ten city blocks. And with the Boogie Pack, Rex can fly with a jet pack with two windows turbines, travel a hundred miles in a few minutes, and even throw the turbines like a Bola or make compressed air with 'em!
Metroid: But after Rex was injected with the Omega-1 Nanite, he began to get access to newer builds in combat. Such as the Blast Caster, which consists of a navy colored backpack dynamo with a long black tentacle-like whip extending from his right arm. It allows him to wrap up foes, grab objects, bring items closer, cut through the air and turns corners fine. It can emit electric shocks as well.
Thunder: With the Funchucks, Rex gets giant metallic nunchucks on his arms! He can spin them around and throw them out at high speeds to strike suckers, divert heat seeking rockets if spun fast enough, and if he slams them together after spinning them fast enough, it makes a destructive energy pulse that releases a light blue arc of energy!
Metroid: The Bad Axes are two giant axes with energized blades that Rex can build on both hands. Despite it's large size, Rex isn't hindered and moves as quick as he usually can. The Block Party is a pair of navy colored metallic gauntlets that make two energy shields made of highly energized atoms. It can either make individual on Rex's hands, or create a dome to defend himself. And if positioned just right, it can even deflect attacks back.
Thunder: And with the Sky Slyder, Rex essentially becomes a Silver Surfer of the skies, making a Blue glowing surfboard that flies at high speed through the air! But if that all ain't enough, Rex can always just activate his Omega Form!
Metroid: In this form, Rex becomes giant, his hair becomes blue flames, and he gains a robotic armor. Not only does he seem stronger in this form, but he also can fire his fists off like rockets.
Thunder: And even if Rex manages to touch any tech, regardless if he's in Omega form or not, he can actually manipulate them to some degree. Removing or fixing internal parts, or even forcing tech to shut down and power off.
Metroid: Rex is fast, being able to outrun, react and dodge natural lightning. He's also really strong. Once, a space elevator went out of control, and Rex had no choice but to stop it with his Smack Hands, forcing it to stop rising up despite the intense g-forces. According to a calculation, Rex was outputting about 23.38 Gigatons of force.
Thunder: And Rex, after a long time, found a way to cure all EVOs. To be specific, with the Meta-Nanites, making all EVOs be cured! Except him because he can control his and his are cool.
Metroid: And knowing how dangerous people with god-like powers can be, Rex forfeited them. But despite the lack of EVOs, people still caused trouble, and Rex was still willing to give aid.
Thunder: Through and through, Rex is one tough cookie! ...And I am scared of him because of his tech manipulation.
"If people want to hate me, I can't stop them. But it's not going to stop me from doing my job. You wanna know why? Because I'm awesome."
Prelude[]
Metroid: Alright, the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities.
Thunder: It's time for a Death Battle!
Pre-Fight[]
Providence Base, 8:20 AM
"So what's the problem this time, Doctor Holiday?"
Rex Salazar, the Providence's Secret Weapon, asked Holiday. What was gonna be a good time hanging out with his old friends became different when he was called in for a new emergency.
"It's in a nearby town. There's been reports of robots going on rampages there. The town already has evacuated, but the damages are immense, and growing more and more." Holiday quickly explained, with Rex listening to each word.
"Killer robots, huh? Sweet! Now I know those movies weren't lying about 'em!" Rex cheered, before noticing Holiday's disapproving stare. "Er, what else?"
"They seem to be highly advanced, even by EVO standards. You have to investigate. Sadly alone, since Six is busy elsewhere and Bobo's sick." Holiday said, with Rex shrugging then walking off.
"Eh, no biggie. This'll be easy, you know what I do to machines, right?" Rex responded, before breaking into a run. "This should take, at most, ten minutes for me to get there!"
10 minutes later...
Meanwhile, while Rex was on route, someone else was actually handling his job for him. This was the future Blue Bomber, Mega Man X, but he's mostly known simply as X.
Taking down another Maverick, X sighed as he lowered his Mega Buster. "That's the last of them. Alia, I'm returning to base now--"
Something quickly landed in front of him, causing dust to fly up into the air, obscuring X's view. "Actually, I think I got company. Shouldn't take too long."
X stood his ground, and let the dust clear as the figure stood up...to reveal Rex. X blinked, before asking "A human? What are you doing here?" Before long, Rex grinned, and quickly formed the Smack Hands, much to X's surprise, before being punched so hard he flew right into the side of a building.
Grunting, X stood up and saw Rex walking forth. "Hey, Robo Boy." Rex spoke as X put a hand on his buster. "Name's Rex. Now...." Rex rushed forward, getting ready to do a Haymaker.
"Thrill me!"
Fight[]
X was quick to leap away, before taking aim with his X Buster and firing. Rex just swatted the attacks away and made way, attempting to crush Rex under the Smack Hands.
X saw this attack coming, and took aim again, this time firing charge shot that actually forced Rex a little back. But X was quick to capitalize on it, dashing forwards and punching Rex away.
Rex stood tall, and was ready to get back to punching, but X swapped to Shotgun Ice and fires a blast out, freezing Rex's Smack Hands. "What the-- hey!" Rex complained, and X...lowered his buster.
"We don't have to fight. Let's calm down and talk things out." X replied, to which Rex responded...by spinning the Smack Hands at high speeds, destroying the ice.
"I already got the reports from Providence, you aren't fooling me, dude!' Rex yelled as he pulled out one of the ripped up chunks of ground out and threw them at X, who fired the Rolling Shield to destroy it.
Sadly it did not help shield him for long, as X found himself on the receiving end of another fist slamming into him. Rex Smashed him into the ground, and kept pounding him, pushing him down deeper and deeper into the ground.
At least until he felt a fire engulf the Smack Hands, making him yell as X kicked Rex off him. "OW! HOT, HOT, HOT!" Rex yelled as X took aim and fired the Storm Tornado, the horizontal tornado blowing Rex away...until he activated the Boogie Pack and flew out of the tornado, looking annoyed.
"Okay, so your arm cannon is impressive..." Rex began, before forming the Punk Busters on his feet. "But can do anything with your legs?"
X was forced to leap away as the foot came closer, threatening to kick his head off. He took aim, firing the Electric Spark, but Rex just kicked it away and went ot stomp him.
Rex was successful...somewhat. While he did step on X, the future Blue Bomber merely held the foot up, grunting as he did before throwing Rex upward. Afterwards, he chose to take aim and fire with the Homing Torpedo, Rex quickly discarding the Punk Busters and riding the Rex Ride to escape. Sadly, the torpedos just kept going, so Rex was forced to keep driving.
X gave chance, but found Rex suddenly leaping out of Rex Ride to form the Smack Hands again as he quickly grabbed X, throwing X up and into his own explosives, making a giant explosion that made a giant smoke cloud.
After a few moments, X came out, wielding the Z-Saber. Rex blinked, then formed the BFS and went to slash at the robot. Both Swords clashed, sparks flying from the intensity as both glared heavily, before X active Magma Blade, increasing the heat on the attack, forcing Rex back to the ground.
The teen EVO stood up quickly and slashed at X's arm. X retracted his attack, but it did hit the Z-Saber out of his hands. Rex then stuck him down, then formed the Punk Busters again. He lifted his feet, getting ready to stomp X, this time adding spikes to the bottom of the soles.
"Any you wanna say before I drop the foot?" Rex snarked, with X grunting out. "I'm not here to fight you, just listen--"
"Alright, that's enough." Rex brought the foot down, but X quickly rolled to safety, and took aim with the Frost Shield, firing out an ice shard that splitted into three. It was a direct hit, making Rex grunt as it pierced his chest.
Eyes widening, X lowered his Buster. "No, wait! I didn't mean to actually--" He was silenced by Rex quickly forming the Smack Hands, and getting pummeled at lightning fast speeds. As X was stunned, this gave Rex time to reel his fist back and perform an uppercut that launched X high into the air, yelling out in pain as Rex leaped after him with the Punk Busters. Once in the air, he slugged X hard enough to launch him out of the city and into the outskirts, making a small crater where he landed.
Looking up, X saw Rex coming, and closed his eyes...then was engulfed in light. Rex halted his attack, shielding his eyes...before it was revealed X had activated the Armor of Light. "Whoa. That armor is cool!" Rex said, causing X to rub his head. "Uh...thanks?" He replied, but found himself seeing Rex coming with the BFS again.
"But I'm gonna crack it like paper!" Rex yelled, as X charged one of his special weapons. Rex struck...but found that X had charged Rolling Shield, creating a shield around him. The slash launched X back, but with virtually no harm.
X then stood tall and utilized the weapon known as Aiming Laser, locking on Rex and firing the laser out. Rex, gritting his teeth, used the BFS and began to slash at the laser, creating openings in it for him to get in close. Rex got close and smacked X with the BFS, and was ready to cleave him apart.
But X rolled away, charging the Aiming Laser and fired another laser out. Rex dodged, and formed the Block Party, shielding him from the laser in a dome. X kept shooting the laser, slowing cracking the dome...but sadly ran out of ammo before he could finish it.
"Heh. Outta juice, roboman?" Rex teased before creating the Slam Cannon and slamming it into the ground, ripping out a chunk from it before shooting it out at X, who used Goo Shaver to send icy gel after it, making an icy explosion.
Rex shielded his eyes from any dirt flying into it, but X just rushed through the debris, charging up another special weapon; this time he charged Rising Fire and stuck Rex in the stomach, sending him high up while screaming in pain. X leaped up after Rex, but Rex quickly grabbed X's head, making him yell as technology lines appeared all over his body.
And soon enough, the Armor of Light was gone, Rex then quickly formed the Funchucks, smacking X around, before spinning them fast enough and slamming them together, making an arc of energy that sent X away.
X slammed into a mountain side painfully. Staggering to his feet, he found himself being wrapped around by Rex's Blast Caster. He was swung around violently, yelling out each time. But X was quickly to activate another armor; the Gaea Armor.
With this, X let the damage come, gritting his teeth from the more harder strikes. When Rex was satisfied, he let go of X. "Alright, I better pack this up quick. Time to shut you off." Rex reached his hand out...just for X to shove him away, then he held his hands out to release a massive ball of energy.
Rex eyes widened, and he formed the Combat Drill to escape the attack, not being noticed by X. But, X still had a hunch Rex wasn't down. He waited a bit, before out of nowhere, the ground below him collapsed, causing him to fall underground with a pained grunt before seeing Rex come close with the Bad Axes, ready to slash X's head off.
Instead, X went with sliding to avoid the attack, kicking Rex off his feet, before firing a charged shot that Rex quickly made the Block Party for to avoid damage. The EVO formed the Punk Busters again, and X took a painful kick to the chin that sent him flying out above ground.
X, clenching his teeth, looked down to see Rex chasing after him with the Sky Slyder, and having the Battle Saw at ready. Rex swung, the Reploid closing his eyes...and formed the Shadow Armor onto himself.
With increased speed, X boosted away and fired shuriken-like buster shots at Rex. The teen boosted around X, and formed the Blast Caster once again. the whip was lashed out, and X began to boost around in a attempt to evade the attack.
X soon grabbed on, and leaped forth, ready to shoot Rex. But this time, Rex grabbed him, and began emitting electricity, causing X to scream before being thrown aside slamming into the ground before Rex came closer, ready to crush X with the Smack Hands.
But X lifted his Buster and fired a charged shot at Rex. The EVO attempted to block with Block Party, but he was too slow and was struck. His eyes widened, the blast being strong enough to cause him to land on the ground painfully, unable to move.
X landed safely, and slowly approached the downed body. He got to a knee, and reached his hand out, hoping Rex still had a pulse...
But found himself instead getting launched back by a sudden transformation. Tumbling across the floor, X got up just to see a sight that widened his eyes.
Rex...had become his Omega EVO form.
X began leaping away from the fists, as Rex had fired them off like rockets. While he was successful at evading the first few, the last one slammed into him, crushing him into the dirt.
But as the fist pinned him down, electrical sparks appeared as the fist began to slowly lift up, before being thrown off; X had donned the Ultimate Armor, and launched the fist back to Rex.
After that, X closed his eyes and used Soul Body to make about six clones of himself, who all made a b-line for the EVO. One fired Lightning Web constantly, creating electric webs all over Rex's body and allowing the Xs to climb up the giant.
One charged up a Spinning Blade to slice Rex up, but the Armor held up. Another rose up to above Rex and performed a charged Frost Tower to drop ice shards into him, which Rex simply swatted away, destroying the clone in the process.
Another went to the chest and charged up the F-Laser, firing a laser that began to burn through, but was promptly smashed away by Rex's fists. But the last two went for a different approach. Both leaped towards the giant body, one cupping his hands and the other clenching their fist. And then...they let the attack go all in.
"HADOKEN!"
"SHORYUKEN!"
The attacks were powerful. It sent Rex's giant EVO form flying through the air, before the real X leaped up and performed another attack; in particular, Nova Strike.
With a war cry, X slammed his body into Rex, causing him to crash the floor, causing tons of dust to be kicked up. X charged down, taking aim with his Buster...but noticed one if Rex's fists coming from behind.
Turning around in the nick of time, X used Dark Hold, freezing time completely, and landing Rex's body safely. Standing tall, X lifted closed his eyes, and a giant flash occurs, covering everything in the area.
(Music Stops)
When it was gone, Rex was seen back to normal, looking confused, while X stood near and silent. Frowning, Rex formed the Smack Hands.
Or at least he tried. Instead, he got nothing. Confused, he tries again, to no avail. He then attempted the Punk Busters, but still no dice. "OH, COME ON! Are my biometrics acting up again?!"
"I shut it off." X spoke. "I used the Mother Elf to shut up your ability to make machines. This fights over. Give up."
Rex stared quietly, realizing he has no more options, and fall to his knees, defeated. X walked forward, holding his hand out. "Now, I'll explain what I've been doing, alright?"
Rex was quiet, and soon enough took X's hand. X smiled, before suddenly feeling as if in pain. "You shut off my builds, huh?" Rex growled, before clenching the hand. "How about I shut you off?!"
X's Ultimate Armor disappeared as he began to scream, his programming being shut down bit by bit. Knowing he needed to get away, X held his buster once more...and fired one last weapon; the Squeeze Bomb.
Rex didn't even have time to process the attack; being engulfed in the Black Hole instantly, and by extension, ending his life on the spot with no pain. X was launched back from the force, panting heavily.
After a few seconds, he stood up, holding his arm which felt somewhat loose. He looked over where Rex once was, and yet...his face was not one of joy or triumph.
It was one of guilt and remorse.

Thunder: HAHAH! That's what that tech manipulator gets!
Metroid: Admittly this fight was majorly clear cut. X majority cleared in the stat trinity. For instance, surviving blows from Lumine, and being able to dish said blows right back, meant X could keep up with this capable of busting Stars and potentially Solar Systems.
Thunder: Sure, Rex was in the gigaton range, but that's significantly less power. Speed too, dodging lightning is pretty cool, but X can outrun the pull of Black Holes!
Metroid: Pull, while Rex's builds were great, they simply were minscule compared to what X had. Just by numbers alone, Rex's arsenal was smaller than the huge load weapons X had his disposal, including having numerous transformations.
Thunder: Which include the Mother Elf, which can shut down Rex's powers by rewriting his nanites, or even the Squeeze Bomb, which is a black hole! Rex wasn't escaping those.
Metroid: One could argue with Rex being able to manipulate tech, he'd be able to cause X's body parts to fall off, make an error, or potentially shut him down. And considering he is willing to fight dirty while X can be hesitant, this is a possible outcome.
Thunder: But Rex would have to touch him first, and with X's sheer speed and way more bigger experience, he would more likely get away in time. But there's thing to note, what if Rex had the Meta-Nanites?
Metroid: Well first, Rex shut it off permanently, even for him to use. But if he didn't, he'd only gain strength and durability over X. X's speed and durability would allow him to defeat Rex before he can actually use it. In the end, Rex is a powerful fighter, and could win in certain scenarios, but X just had more going for him.
Thunder: I guess Providence is gonna have to X out Rex's name from their agents, huh?
Metroid: The winner is Mega Man X.
