History[]
Origin: Matt was raised normally and grew up with his high sense of optimism, while being raised by his comedic dad and mentally unstable mom, but after a while, his parents divorced as his mom passed away. As he went, he has been shown to have very good social skills and good behavior, and an amazing talent in drawing and adventuring.
But despite his gullible and well-behaved happiness, he gained more common sense throughout his life, thus leading to him accidentally causing trouble and mischief alongside Damion, his only friend at the time, because he too was an outcast and underdog just like him.
One night, he found his good friend and an anthropomorphic dog who convince him to join their sneak-out to "glorious substances"... which was sneaking around the town at night, only to then become good friends later on, as the world got much weirder by then.

Updated Feats[]
- Strength
- Matt has been shown to heavily bruise several people by attacking them physically, such as full-grown adults and grizzly bears.
- He's strong enough to destroy wooden, brick and steel walls, tip over a row of trees with a single shoulder bash, and smash a large dumpster into a flat frisbee with ease.
- Not only that, but he can also lift and punt or throw a large pyramid or mountain from the ground and cause a crater.
- He can easily destroy playgrounds, flip over and punt bicycles, cars and trucks, and demolish bank safe doors.
- And when it comes to houses and buildings, he doesn't fall short, because he can easily dismember, split in half, and crumble up his own house, which withstood the likes of wrecking balls, buff trolls that have the strength of 2 sumo wrestlers each, and survived a huge explosion.
- He can even wreck a gas station, police station, and the White House itself, just for the fun of it.
- If anything, he can also harm people much bigger than him, such as construction workers, bodybuilders, and giants.
- For example, when he encountered ogres, he beat them all in seconds.
- When he stood in the way of a giant beast, he threw him into the troposphere with ease, and repeated this move with an entire group of the beasts all at once.
- And he faced several dragons in his life, and has defeated them all by either throwing or crashing them into the ground, such as Droogon, the strongest dragon of all!
- Another guy he can harm on a daily basis is Charlie. For example, Matt easily gives him bruises and scars when beating him up, can punch him into arcade machines and cause them to collapse, and punt him and a horde of teenagers into a high school building so hard that it all was a pile of debris.
- Day to day, he's capable of harming every single citizen in Oakville, all of each survived a deadly toxin that made the town a wasteland and endured a nuke blowing the entire town up, yet every single inch of the town only had burnt marks and smoke steaming from it.
- He can punch the Turtle-Tron 2000, a giant and strong robot replica of Turloc, into a building, and left a dent so big that it caused the machine to explode, resulting in the building being destroyed, as well as throw it around on a weekly basis.
- Finally, the last durable person he can hurt is Overshade, who endured his entire giant mothership exploding several times point-blank, surviving blows from Tentaclerous, who could devour planets easily because... because, well, he's a giant (bleep)in' monster, really. When he achieves his giant form, he can beat the (bleep) thing in arm-wrestling, and tank a supernova rainfire with ease.
- He could lift Mt. Everest and throw it into the Pacific Ocean, causing a drought and flood on islands, send a giant mummy flying into space, and of course, toss away Overshade's mothership all the way back to the Milky Way!
- He once picked up and chunked their entire school from the ground up and repeated this move with several other buildings.
- He can harm Charlie on a daily basis, who withstood attacks from obese adults and martial artists, and was strong enough to fight on par with 4 karate fighters, 5 jujitsu fighters, and 2 sumo wrestlers, yet Matt punts him around like he's nothing.
- Can lift stars, black holes and matter itself to throw or tinker with.
- He can constantly hurt himself, a sign that his strength mirrors his durability.
- Durability
- Matt got up after being in front of detonating explosives, point-blank blasts, and crushed by giant robotic fists.
- He could also live through accidentally or intentionally hurting himself by punching himself, rolling down rocky hills, or falling off roof-tops, as well as going through the effects of food poisoning, actual poison, deadly venom, and the intense heat, cold, and radiation of space, several times, with ease.
- He has tanked his home and school exploding and collapsing onto him day to day, survived being blasted with deadly lasers, and shaken off attacks from strong teenagers such as Charlie, who is also comparable to him, and Matt's dad, who could simply shake buildings and cause shockwaves with a tug of his belt.
- And as I said before, he's familiar with nuclear explosions, going fast enough to travel through time, and falling from space, even if he didn't cause it himself.
- Over and over, he's been flattened, stretched, squished, shifted, mended, bruised and battered, but he now either rubs it off or is used to it.
- Him surviving asteroid-level explosions is consistent due to him also surviving the explosion and destruction of the moon, and the amount of TNT you need to blow that up is about 30,000,000 teratons of TNT.
- He survived being blown through planets on Earth, swirled through the Milky Way, and blown into and put back in orbit by the Sun by a giant and chaotic fan.
- Speed
- Fatest out of him, Birch and Damion
- He can outrun missiles, run up walls, and even be on par with Greg, who could run across neighborhoods in short time frame!
- Not only that, but he could also dash through an entire race track and Turloc's defenses under 2 minutes, as well as Slimelossus' Slush Yard, which is as big as your annual carnival, front to back easily.
- He could also run through his entire forest in seconds just for food, and came back with a retrieved box of pizza that was in tip-top shape.
- After racing ostriches, cheetahs, and even Birch, he's able to go at Mach speeds and rub that same speed in the face of Olympic runners!
- He dodged lasers and lightning several times, and was only covered in smoke and burnt after being struck by it.
- He can also dodge multiple attacks from whips, and could strike just as fast.
- He's consistently able to run through the entire Earth, dash from planet to planet and reach the Milky Way in seconds.
- Stamina
- He went on long adventures, stood still, didn't blink or sleep, on multiple occasions, but kept on going.
- Every time he faces brutal punishment, he always got right back up and running.
- Another time his stamina shined was in the Full-Town Marathon, where he and others had to run through the entire town for thousands of dollars, and Matt didn't stop. This is a sign that when he has a drive to do something, he'll fight until he drops.
- Intelligence
- Being the skilled leader of the group, he's an amazing tactician with a vivid mind, and always has complex tricks up his sleeve, being a devious con artist.
- Is a very amazing doodler as you've probably guessed, and can do sketching, comic strips, graffiti art, line drawing, anamorphic drawing, fashion drawing, realistic drawing, symbolic drawing and expressive drawing.
- He's an experienced manipulator, enough to be able to lie to almost everyone by covering it up with scams and offers, trick people into doing things that secretly go according to his plan, and get from detail to detail in order to solve something or get to some sort of treasure or goal.
- This is due to his creative imagination and mischievous mindset, mostly to how much it saved him and his friends from death.
- The one thing he's good at is scheming, which mostly depends on the time and location. Most of these plans of his are based off of his actions alone, with it being better the more time he's given.
- Uniquely, he could improvise with just about anything, such as hangers, plungers, toilet brushes, yo-yo's, etc. He also has a habit of picking up random things and using those for something.
- Invented his own martial art "Silly-Fu", and even beat smart adults with it, as well as the Mayor and Dictator Luna, who have black belts in Karate.
- Master of disguise to high and humorous degrees, being able to blend in with others, hide in spots without being discovered, and set traps in places no one would find.
- Is an experienced treasure hunter, enough to have gotten rich after a day of doing it.
- Has tracked down stealthy mummies who possessed a mighty amount of riches.
- Sneaked into various temples to find the treasure he was looking for.
- Runs through various obstacles on a daily basis, and is completely used to weird things.
- Is not easily surprised when it comes to his challenging opponents sometimes, unless it's normal.
- He's a master adventurer, and has experience in travelling to hot and cold climates, intoxicated caves, war-infested worlds, and even time and space itself.
- Abilities
- Firstly, he possesses Toon Force, or Cartoon Physics, something almost every character in the show wields. This ability can allow the user to warp reality to a fault and extent in any way possible, like replacing or applying absurd laws to the universe; the user gains the ability to re-write the laws of physics in their universe to their convenience and is allowed to overwrite them with far more ridiculous ones in service of hilarity.
- Obviously, he has extreme regeneration.
- So he's been dismembered, molecularly changed, zombified, melted, flattened, incinerated, decapitated, burnt, shattered, blown up, deflated, ripped apart, poofed to dust, shredded, reduced to their skeleton, clumped into piles of flesh, and turned into all sorts of inanimate objects, only to come back as if nothing happened.
- This sometimes happens off-screen.
- And even if you chopped off his limbs, he could always successfully reattach them or make clones with them.
- He has what seems to be teleportation, so he could could magically appear in another spot with an anime reference, when his opponents look away, or when a scene transition happens, as well as one's dreams and manipulate the environment there, but cannot change nor cause life and/or death, and other forms of media, such as comic books, manga, television, and reality itself, by simply looking for an opening, which could be comic panels, books and TV's.
- He has this thing called "hammer space", letting him store a lot of stuff and not get any slower.
- If he dies, he could always respawn at the cost of a video game life, but if he runs out, he dies for real.
- He could eat as much as he wants and not gain weight, and even if he did, he would burn it off either by force or by simply running for only seconds, as he appears fine in the next scene.
- He could write down notes in the air with standard art tools, cause comic fonts to appear by attacking physically, thought bubbles to appear by thinking, daydreaming or dreaming while sleeping, and fanfares to play by emotions, grey clouds of smoke by fighting with limbs and heads sticking out sometimes.
- With ease, he could interact with and escape lettering and caption boxes, even calling on the help of himself from other panels, break through panels, and with other forms of media, he could go through television and theater screens to escape to the real world.
- He could stop time for comedic effect and interact through others' time stopping, but can't do this unless he sees an opening for humor.
- If in something family-friendly, most murderous options are unavailable, but when he's in something fan-made/unofficial or past PG, he has access to all options that are within his style. But in this case, he'll just... well, he'll do whatever he'll do.
- He can also mess with or expose the reality of the 2D or 3D environment, and even cause things to happen by mere exaggeration.
- He has an insane fictional physique, and can brawl just like a video game character or live-action actor. This lets him double jump, slide, dash in midair, be omnilingual with subtitles, narrate over others, and pause and play while talking just in case they need a moment. This also grants them an attack meter that he can fill up, as shown in the game "Matt & Friends: Eccentric Boogaloo".
- While this seems so simple, it can be increased by being attacked by someone, and eating candied food. After it's full, Matt can perform a quick move that symbolizes himself.
- Matt's special attack is called "Creative Flow", where he draws in his notebook while going all over the place, releasing animated creatures for weird attacks.
- While this seems so simple, it can be increased by being attacked by someone, and eating candied food. After it's full, Matt can perform a quick move that symbolizes himself.
- He can control his body to amazing degrees. This is shown by him constantly stretching his limbs and necks, inflating by compressing his breath, switching up and growing more of his body parts, squeezing through small spaces, and changing his DNA, or technically shapeshifting, be it a digital form, 8-bit stature, or different art styles.
- He can always shrink in true squash-and-stretch fashion, and still have his abilities with them, while being able to grow back at any time he wants.
- He can simply turn back time by literally rewinding time, and mostly do so by flipping back a clock or turning back the episode via the timestamp.
- He can also change the art style to his own pleasure, as long as "he can still pay the budget".
- He's also very immersive, which is like having your Super Mario 64 abilities come true and go through paintings, picture frames, screens, books, and more.
- He's also able to control gravity to a minor extent.
- Like how Matt could float around like he was in space and pause in midair when above no ground for a short time.
- Remember when I said he could make clones? Well, he sure as hell can.
- He could make clones that run around all over the place, generate copies that poof into smoke after one hit, and clone by... well, liquifying himself and making clones that way, like how bacteria and (bleep) does asexual birth.
- He's skilled in some sorts of hypnosis.
- Matt tries swaying leashed objects around to try and control someone most of the time.
- And finally, he, you guessed it, can break the fourth wall in absurd ways, and does it in almost every episode.
- He has expressed the art-style of the show, as well as the script, plot, and series itself.
- He's aware of them being in a form of media (such as video games, tv shows, etc).
- He has interrupted and/or corrected flashbacks and cutaway gags many times.
- He possesses Broadway Force.
- This is an ability they can use to where they start a song, and everyone would join in, even opponents.
- He can warp reality to a high degree.
- He literally picked up their shadows to communicate with them, and could summon more walking shadows for help.
- Downside: After he insulted them, the shadows turned against him and caused havoc.
- Every time he found an evil constellation (ex: Matt finding Kora as a constellation of stars), he threw a rock at the stars, literally knocking the light out of them and shutting them off or blowing them up.
- One time, after flying away from Earth, he knocked into a constellation, causing it to literally collapse.
- He picked up objects from the background and mended it into paper airplanes to throw around.
- Once he threw these at actual airplanes, they blew them up and crashed into the ocean.
- He also mended them into bowling balls to knock into trees, hearts that can turn into scissors, and umbrellas that can cast and redirect lightning.
- He unraveled them with a mere string, and used that string to reach a faraway U.F.O., that was canon to be 400 Billion lightyears away, with him reaching it in seconds.
- He also mended them into bowling balls to knock into trees, hearts that can turn into scissors, and umbrellas that can cast and redirect lightning.
- Once he threw these at actual airplanes, they blew them up and crashed into the ocean.
- He picked apart the sky like puzzle pieces, and sucked up the Earth's water to make a giant water balloon.
- He pulled off outlines of characters, vehicles, and more of the sort, only to be able to mend it into weapons.
- He mostly made melee weapons, military tanks, and a whole helicopter out of them.
- In space, he played sports with planets, and used the sun for a punching bag.
- He found Uranus and chunked it into a constellation, knocking all of the stars away.
- When he fell asleep in space, he used stars as nightlights, and when he woke up, the star magically turned into a supernova and emitted energy, as it went in Matt's mouth for him to shoot into a Black Hole, making it grow in size.
- After that, he used the Black Hole as an acne vacuum, frisbee, and actual vacuum to clean up the dark matter in space.
- He ripped apart the fabric of the universe with his bare hands, and saw Heaven itself, a space/time anomaly, the Quantum Realm with a rat stuck inside, and the Multiverses.
- Eventually, he sealed it shut and promised to never open it again.
- After finding a meteor shower, he simply played 8-Ball with them, while accidentally throwing one into Earth, causing it to have an asteroid belt around it since it collapsed in mid-collision.
- He un-did it afterwards though.
- Since the sun is a living being in that universe, it grabbed and threw them all the way back to Earth.
- This means they resisted 10,000 Fahrenheit (5,600 Celsius) and atmospheric re-entry at the same time!
- All of them went through the Milky Way from a long ladder all the way from Earth and saw...
- ...something we couldn't see them see. All that happened when they came out is them having stars for eyes.
- He literally picked up their shadows to communicate with them, and could summon more walking shadows for help.
- Obviously, he has extreme regeneration.
- But Toon Force isn't the only thing he has, and he proved that time and time again.
- He's skilled in the art of destruction, as shown in his skills.
- You could place a sign or tell him not to do something, but he'll do it anyways, and destroy a lot of property.
- This can also be shown in cowardice, lack of focus in a situation, or maybe just flat-out rage. As usual, they could use this as an advantage.
- You could place a sign or tell him not to do something, but he'll do it anyways, and destroy a lot of property.
- He's capable of using pyrokinesis on a strange level, be it fireballs, fire beams, or normal explosions, some of which are used in the ways of Silly-Fu: his own martial art.
- Matt uses fireballs as a main attack, with his explosions only being triggered when he uses full force.
- Matt's explosions were shown to be strong, especially when he tanked punching asteroids and moons, blowing them up in the process.
- The asteroid was twice as big as the one that killed the dinosaurs, which was estimated to be about 10 to 15 kilometers wide. It created an impact carter of over 150 kilometers across, called the Chicxulub crater; due to the speed it was travelling, at about 20 km per second, which equates to 72,000 kilometers an hour. An explosion powerful enough to destroy it should've been about 200 gigatons of TNT.
- Matt's explosions were shown to be strong, especially when he tanked punching asteroids and moons, blowing them up in the process.
- He could also manipulate ice to his will, being able to shoot iceballs to freeze enemies, cause snow by blasting an air conditioner, and create small glaciers to skate or surf with.
- And another strange ability he has is to manipulate energy with his iconic emotions.
- Matt blasts with happy green energy, which can bounce off of surfaces.
- He could resist high temperatures and have high lung capacity, and even if he did melt, freeze, or do both, he would regenerate from it anyways.
- This is shown from how he can constantly be able to breathe in space, survive on other planets, and, well, process normally just about anywhere, really.
- He can interact with and attack intangible things and people, like ghosts, clouds, rainbows, sound, and more, with no problem at all. Even his weapons can hurt them.
- Anything he can in the real world, he can do as ghosts and in dreams, as well as... well, just about anywhere.
- He could also liquify and re-solidify himself over and over again, and this is shown in various situations.
- He's been shown to have survived or been resistant to intense heat, cold, venom, poison, and radiation.
- This is shown in "Toxic Toxins", where he has to deal with metaphorical and literal toxicity, and has even lived after being dosed with food poisoning and cyanide!
- You know what else he can do? Resist mind hax.
- Many have attempted to hypnotize and mind control Matt, but to no avail, they failed, because he has indomitable will, and due to his determination to keep on going, and how his emotions are pure, this proves this fact.
- He has also resisted age/fate hax.
- He went through time and was bended by age, but he simply resisted it without even having to focus.
- Every time something was destined to happen, he either manipulated the plot by rewriting the script or changed it by fixing a mistake.
- He's been possessed, but he immediately either kicked the possessor out of his mind, or annoyed them to death until they broke and left themselves.
- He can transmit his thoughts to others, and read each other's minds as well, as shown in the short "Brotherly Friendship", where he does this multiple times.
- Matt can hide in and out of his jacket with the structure of a turtle, spin fast enough to become a tornado, and activate an aura of his to increase the power in any part of his body, while emitting green radiation... or energy, if you perfer.
- Matt uses fireballs as a main attack, with his explosions only being triggered when he uses full force.
- He's skilled in the art of destruction, as shown in his skills.
- Firstly, he possesses Toon Force, or Cartoon Physics, something almost every character in the show wields. - Matt is in the medium range when it comes to being clumsy, cowardly, immature and lazy.
- His pain tolerance, regeneration, and Toon Force doesn't make him invincible, as he has shown to be hurt by others before, and is vulnerable to incapacitation at times.
- While his mind can't be controlled, he too can be manipulated into schemes by making it look innocent.
- In other words, he's gullible to a fault.
- His weapons could possibly be ripped from his possession, and it takes time for him to change into his simple alter-egos.
- Somewhat of a happy-go-lucky pacifist.

- Has an utter fear of heights.
- Being on roller coasters and things like that really scared him and made him scream for dear life.
- Naïve when not completely focused or in various situations.
- He was so dull, he ignored many chances to get with a girl despite being in a crowd of his young admirers.

- Easily distracted when in a happy mood.
- Talks too much sometimes in combat.
- There's moments when he's a serious worker.
- In this case, when duty calls, he makes sure he leaves no one behind and goes to extreme lengths to motivate them or make them get up and help, and when he starts, he makes sure there's no more crime left before he relaxes.
- When he's had enough and is in a moment of immense stress, it's easy to make him mad or push him to his breaking point when he's had no breaks.
- When he gets a large amount of money or treasure, or finds a way to get it, his greed overcomes him a tiny bit and he's easy to be found or shown to his opponents.
- Is sometimes loud and stubborn to a medium degree, not backing down when he should, and being rebellious against those who rudely oppose him.
- Incredibly obnoxious; he tends to show off, does victory dances at times when he wins, and gets annoying when he's worried. Though he doesn't have an ego, he's prone to this.
