Instant Martians come in brightly colored spheres that appear to be about one-inch (2.5 cm) in diameter. When water is applied to the spheres, they spring into fully formed bird-like creatures, with thick, green bodies and yellow beaks. They appear to be about 4-feet (123 cm) tall, just taller than Bugs Bunny. Though completely obedient to Marvin, they are not very bright, and appear to be easily tricked.
