Nintendo Vs. Sega! Tonight, the 2 most famous teams in gaming finally duke it out! Who will walk out alive?
Intro[]
Wiz: In Video Games, a hero without a partner is like having PB&J without the bread.
Boomstick:...that was a odd example...
Wiz: Look, I'm hungry, OK? Mario and Luigi, the plumber duo...
Boomstick: And Sonic and Tails, the brothers in arms. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to find out who would win, a Death Battle.
Mario & Luigi[]

Wiz: We've already talked about both of the Bros. before, on Team Mario Vs. Team Sonic . However, Mario and Luigi have done some pretty crazy things together.
Boomstick: Even without Power-Ups, both are still skilled fighters. Mario is strong enough to break solid metal with his bear hands and DROP-KICK CASTLES WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT!! HOLY CRAP!!!
Wiz: Luigi, while not as strong as Mario, is fast enough to run on water for a short time. He also has a Flutter Jump of sorts which can slow his fall.
Boomstick: They both also wield hammers that they had since they where little kids. I remember a Shotgun I had when I was only 3...that poor, poor clown....
Wiz: These hammers can break rocks and send a Super-Powered Bowser flying, who Mario can already throw around the place with ease.
Boomstick: There is also The F.L.U.D.D Pack, which can shoot water and act as a Jet-Pack, and The Polterguist 9000, which was made to defeat ghost.
Wiz: There's more. Both Bros can somehow control certain elements. Mario can control Fire, while Luigi can control lightning. While Mario usualy resorts to using it to shoot fire, Luigi can charge it up to shoot himself like a missile.
Boomstick: Mario and Luigi have pulled off some pretty insane stuff, like beating Bowser 1000 times or something, took on (and won against) an alien invasion, saved the entire f**king galaxy 2 times, and even shut down Bowser's 8 hotels-wait, what?!
Mario: All toasters, toast toast!
Wiz: They aren't perfect, however. The usually jump into things without a plan. While it usually works, there are times where it led to an easy defeat.
Boomstick: Plus, Luigi is kind of a pu**y.
Wiz: But overall, if your princess is in another castle, you know who to call.
Mario and Luigi: Lets-a go!
Sonic & Tails[]

Wiz: Sonic the Hedgehog is a 17 year-old Hedgehog who fights the evil Dr. Eggman on a daily basis. Most of he time he's been joined by Tails, who is also his best friend.
Boomstick: Sonic and Tails greatest weapon is there speed. Sonic in base form can travel at the speed of light, and Tails can keep up with him. How, you ask?
Wiz: By spinning his twin tails to act like a propeller, boosting his speed. Which is impossible in real life but it's video game logic, so...yeah.
Boomstick: Sonic can perform the Homing Attack, a attack that homes in on enemies, the Spin Dash, where Sonic rolls into a ball and dashes forward, and a Spin Bounce, which is self-explanitory.
Wiz: As for Tails, he can use his Twin Tails to fly for a short time and swim under water better. He's also equiped with Bombs, fake rings, an Arm Cannon, a magic spring glove, and more. As you can tell, he's the brains.
Boomstick: The two are very good at working together. They both have years of expereance on taking on evil and have pretty much seen it all-

Boomstick: Alright, I get it-

Boomstick: Alright, alright! Geez.
Wiz: Together, they have thwarted Dr. Eggman a billion times in 25 Years, ran faster then the speed of light and are strong enough to break metal.
Boomstick: They have flaws, though. Sonic can't swim and runs into battle without a plan, and Tails is weaker and slower then his pal. And he's a pu**y.
Wiz: But dispite there flaws, they are still a powerful duo.
Sonic: We're Sonic Hero's!
Tails: Yeah!
Pre-fight[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatiants are set. Lets end this debait once and for all!
Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!
Death Battle[]
Location: Who gives a crap?
Mario and Sonic where standing a few feet away from each other. They both earlier decided to settle there rivalry once and for all, so they both met at this location.
Sonic: You ready, plumber?
Mario: More ready then i'll ever be!
Luigi then ran by Mario side. A few seconds later, Tails flew in and landed next to Sonic. All 4 of them nodded and got intio fighting stances.
Mario: Lets-a go!
Luigi: H-here we g-go...
Sonic: Bring it on!
Tails: I'm ready!

Instantly, Sonic jumped up and attempted to home attack Mario but was knocked back by the Plumbers hammer. The Blue Blur then Spin Dashed into Mario, knocking him back. Luigi tried to run to Mario to see if he was all right but was intrupted be Tails jumping in his way.
Luigi shot some lightning at Tails, who dodged it and attempted to shoot Luigi with his Arm Cannon. Luigi also avoided it and backfliped onto Tails's head.
Meanwhile, Mario grabed Sonic and threw him into the air. Sonic did a homing attack back at him and kicked him in the face. Mario recovered quickly and slammed his hammer onto the ground causing a miniture eathquake. Sonic stumbled a bit but not before getting pounded in the face by the Red Plumbers fist.
Mario was about to run at Sonic to finish him off. However, he was suddenly hit by Luigi flying right into him. Tails had just avoided Weegee's Green Missile attack and had hit Mario instead. Luigi helped Mario up and, after nodding at each other, picked him up by the foot and threw him into the air. Mario then curled up into a ball as he was hit by Luigi's hammer, shooting him at Sonic and Tails. While Sonic avoided it, Tails did not and was knocked back.
Sonic: Tails!
He then noticed Luigi running at him. Sonic quickly speeded next to him and punched him in the gut, kicked him in the face, etc. Before dealing the finishing blow though, Luigi used his lighning powers to shock Sonic to stun him. Luigi then ran to Mario only to see he was busy dealing with Tails.
Both Mario and Tails where in the sky, with Mario being lifted by Tails. Luigi attempted to jump up there to assist his bro, but by then Mario had just escaped the Fox's grasp. He landed next to his brother as both of them prepaired there hammers. Right as Tails landed...
WHAM!!!
Both of the Mario Bros swung there hammers at Tails, launching him off to god knows where.
TAILS HAS BEEN DEFEATED!
The two of them turned back around only to see Sonic inches away from them. He grabs Mario and, while still running, starts punching him in the face. Mario retaleates by spinning while Sonic is still grabbing him, causing them both to stumble over and fall to the floor.
Sonic (getting back up): Grrr! You'll pay for what you did to my pal! Time to-GAAAH!
The Hedgehog was suddenly electricuted by Luigi. Using this moment to his advantage, Mario jumped up and slamed his hammer on top of Sonic with all his might. This turned Sonic into a bloody mess on the floor. The Mario Bros had won.
K.O!!!
- Mario and Luigi where battling Bowser and Eggman in the Death Egg.
- Sonic and Tails where greated in heaven by Goku.

Boomstick: Now, you're most likely thinking: BUT SONIC WON AGINEST MARIO!
Wiz: Well, yes, but that was a solo match. When the two get threre partners, Mario and Luigi take the cake in strengh, durability, experance, and stragity.
Boomstick: The only category's Sonic and Tails win at are speed and smarts. Plus, the Mario Bros have even taken on Dreamy Bowser, who is at least Multi-Universal!
Wiz: And combind that with there superior teamwork skills, and we have a clear winner.
Boomstick: Looks like Sonic and Tails where just Mari-owned!
Wiz: The winner is Mario and Luigi.

Boomstick: They say two heads are better than one and two fighters working together is no different. And who better than these four.
Wiz: Mario & Luigi: The Italian Mushroom Kingom Defenders.
Boomstick: And Sonic & Tails, the greatest duo in the Sonic-Verse.
Wiz: For a not-so messy fight, no power ups will be included.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Mario & Luigi[]
Wiz: A stork was carrying two children in a bag to be delivered to their parents.
Boomstick: Hey Wiz, how could the babies breath if the bag was sealed?
Wiz: It's the Mario universe, do you really expect a lot of logic out of that?
Boomstick: Not really.
Wiz: Anyways, a magikoopa named Kamek went to steal the babies but only grabbed Luigi, which probably explains his constant fear of everything.
Boomstick: Well anyway, Mario crashed on an island inhabited by Yoshis. Realizing that this was one of the Seven Star children and that his brother had gone missing, they teamed up to save Luigi.
Wiz: After rescuing Luigi, Mario and his brother ventured and fought many forces.
Boomstick: Being Star children, they're faster, stronger, and more durable than any other human. They're strong enough to shatter bricks with their bare hands, fast enough to run on walls, and durable enough to withstand hot temperatures.
Wiz: After being trained by gods, Mario gained the power of pyrokinesis and Luigi gained the power of electrokinesis. With these abilities, Mario can launch fireballs, whether they be small or large, such as the Mario Finale.
Boomstick: Luigi's lightning powers let him shoot lightning from his hands and control bodies. Mario universe, Boomstick, Mario universe. Course, Luigi has to charge up the Thunderhand to use it.
Wiz: Anyways, Mario possesses techniques such as the Mario Tornado, Super Jump Punch, and already mentioned Mario Finale.
Boomstick: Luigi has his own moves such as the Luigi Cyclone, Green Missile, and Super Jump Punch. His Jump Punch is better than Mario's. While Mario's racks up damage, Luigi's can launch an opponent so high into the air. But one thing they do have is their own hammers. One thing Luigi has that Mario doesn't is the Poltergust 3000, which can suck up anything and expel fire, ice, and water.
Wiz: But when push comes to come, they use their Bros. Attacks. Of course since there are so many Bros. Attacks, we'll use only the original eight, namely because it's within boundaries of how many there are.
Boomstick: With Splash Bros, Mario jumps on Luigi and Luigi goes under him and Mario unleashes a Spin Jump alongside Luigi. With Chopper Bros, Mario hammers Luigi into the ground and jumps. Luigi then pops up and brings Mario up and Mario hammers down on the opponent.
Wiz: With Swinger Bros, Mario grabs Luigi and throws him into an opponent. With Fire Bros, Mario launches Fireballs into the air and Luigi deflects them with his hammer into the opponent.
Boomstick: That's all of Mario's. These are Luigi's. With Bounce Bros, Mario throws Luigi into the air and he jumps alongside him and together they crash into the opponent. With Knockback Bros, Luigi launches Mario into the enemy. With Cyclone Bros, Luigi hammers down Mario and Mario spins Luigi and his hammer, allowing Luigi to unleash a spinning hammer attack. With Thunder Bros, Luigi hops off Mario and slams on the opponent and blasts electricity on everyone. Luigi's Negative Zone can cause different effects, ranging from dizziness to tripping over nothing. But before he can take advantage of his power, he has to finish his dance.
Wiz: Together, they defeated Bowser, Cakletta, evil aliens, repaired time and space with their younger selves, took down Fawful, and teamed up with Paper Mario to stop a great evil. Luigi, on his own, defeated King Boo.
Boomstick: However, they can tend to rush in without a plan. Also, they can tend to celebrate too early in a fight. Depending on the foe they fight, this can be a fatal weakness. Also, Luigi can tend to be a bit scared of most things.
Wiz: Even so, don't count out the Bros.
Mario: Its' a me, Mario
Luigi: I'm-a Luigi
Sonic & Tails[]
Wiz: In a world, a young hedgehog named Sonic went to find adventure, stumbled into Robotnik, and foiled his plans. However, after the adventure, he stumbled into a fox named Miles Prower.
Boomstick: Nice one, SEGA.
Wiz: Sonic met Tails when Tails fixed his biplane and they became best friends ever since.
Boomstick: Sonic and Tails are incredible skilled. They're very fast, fairly strong, quite durable, and pretty versatile.
Wiz: They can use the Spin Attack, Spin Dash, and Homing Attack. However, they do moves that the other doesn't.
Boomstick: Sonic is capable of the Sonic Boost, which is when he envelops himself in a blue field and bashes through almost anything. He can also do the Blue Tornado, which is when he spins and creates a tornado, flipping opponents into the air.
Wiz: With the Sonic Heal, he can heal himself by vibrating his moleclues and his Sonic Eagle unleashes a downward axe kick.
Boomstick: Tails possesses the Magic Hand, a boxing glove connected to a chain. He also has the Energy Ball arm cannon, which lets him shoot laser balls.
Wiz: With the Tails Swipe, Tails can swing his tails, which by the way, can break through steel. And his Shield and Medi bots can protect and heal himself.
Boomstick: He can also fly using his tails and is incredibly smart, possessing an I.Q of 300. They also have some attacks they can use together. With the Blue Bomber, Tails grabs Sonic and drops him on an enemy. If only it could summon Mega Man. Anyways, Sonic and Tails possess their own versions of the Piko Piko hammer. Because Amy's powerful weapon is all the rage.
Wiz: The Rocket Accel allows Tails to push Sonic into an enemy and with Thunder Shoot, Tails can kick Sonic into an enemy, stunning them. A common misconseption is that the power character is needed for Rocket Accel and Thunder Shoot. You can use one character for a combo attack.
Boomstick: Together, they destroyed the Death Egg, beat Chaos Gamma and E-121 Phi, took on the likes of Espio, defeated many of Eggman Nega's mechs, sealed away the Ifrit, saved a couple of aliens, and even stopped the Deadly Six. Sonic and Tails are also fast enough to react to lasers
Wiz: However, they have faults. Sonic is extremely cocky and arrogant and can't swim. Tails can tend to rely on Sonic for bravery and is scared of ghosts and thunder.
Boomstick: But despite their faults, they have no problem foiling Eggman's plans and taking him on in the name of good and justice.
Tails: Great job, Sonic.
Sonic: Thanks, but I had a little help on that last one.
Pre-Death Battle[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTTTTTTTLE!
Death Battle[]
Location: Grassy Meadows.
Sonic and Tails were running.
Sonic: Come on Tails. We've got some Badniks to bash.
Tails: Well then, we better hurry.
Sonic and Tails heard a crashing sound. They looked down from a small hill and found out that Mario and Luigi destroyed the Badniks before they did.
Sonic: Dude, those guys stole our Badniks.
Tails: Let's waste em'! LEEEEEEROY JEEEENKINS!
The Bros. heard them and knew trouble was coming. Sonic and Tails slid down the hill and accosted Mario and Luigi.
Sonic: I hope you brought a ladder because you're going downnnn!
Fight!
Luigi used Knockback Bros. and knocked Mario towards Tails.
Luigi: Take this, you ugly, deformed runt.
Tails anticipated this attack, stepped sideways, and smacks Mario into the forest.
Tails: I don't think so, little green man.
Sonic: Tails, I'll take the red retard and you take the green goober.
Tails: Got it.
Sonic took chase to Mario and started punching him, but Mario dodged all of the punches. Mario uses the Mario Tornado and strikes Sonic. Mario uses the Mario Tornado again, but Sonic uses the Blue Tornado to send Mario flying and leaves him dizzy. Sonic takes this opportunity and charges the Spin dash and hits Mario just before Mario comes back to his senses.
Sonic: What's the matter? Got nothing left?
Meanwhile, Tails was busy with Luigi. Luigi threw a punch at Tails, but Tails was able to dodge it and used the Magic Hand to surprise Luigi. Tails started flying and shooting with his arm cannon, but Luigi kept dodging and jumped into the air to attack. Tails stopped flying and Luigi missed. Tails took this opportunity and uses the arm cannon and shoots Luigi. Luigi got knocked into a tree and was upside down. Tails uses the Tails Swipe and Energy Ball attack. Luigi And the tree were knocked back.
Tails: Guess I'm not as wimpy as you thought I was, huh?
Luigi: Nope! Still wimpy.
Tails: Sonic may not be here, but I know I can do this.
Mario uses the Super Jump Punch and hits Sonic multiple times. Mario decides to finish this with the Mario Finale. Sonic manages to dodge it.
Sonic: Now it's time to get serious!
Sonic jumps and Mario precedes to attack using the Super Jump Punch and hit Sonic, but Sonic counters with the Sonic Eagle and knocks Mario downward. Sonic uses the Blue Tornado to render Mario dizzy. Sonic then pushes Mario back and kicks Mario's head with all his might and snaps Mario's neck, killing him in the process.
Sonic: I'll admit, That was rough. Before I help Tails, I need to heal up.
Sonic used the Sonic heal and healed himself up before helping his bud.
Sonic went to Tails location and watched him get punched into a tree. He stops himself from hitting the tree. Luigi's about to hammer down on Tails when he brings out the shield bot. Luigi destroys it with his hammer. Tails shoots with his arm cannon and blows back Luigi. Luigi charges up his Thunderhand but Sonic pushes Luigi before he can initiate the attack.
Tails: Sonic, you're here! Now together, we stand a far better chance against this creep.
Sonic and Tails use Thunder Shoot and stun Luigi. They use the Blue Bomber and drop Sonic on top of Luigi's head. Tails and Sonic use the Rocket Accel, but Luigi effortlessly dodges and brings out the Poltergust 3000 and tries to suck up Tails. Tails tries to evade it by running away. Sonic uses the Homing Attack and knocks Luigi down. Luigi proceeds to use the Luigi Cyclone, but it's countered by the Blue Tornado and Luigi is dizzy.
Tails: I have a plan!
Tails whispers the plan to Sonic. Luigi uses the poltergust to shoot fire, which Sonic and Tails avoid. Tails jumps over the flame and hits Luigi with an arm cannon attack. Luigi starts shooting water at Sonic, hoping to freak him out.
Luigi: Why aren't you-a screaming like a little baby?
Sonic: I'm not afraid of water! Why does everyone think that? Anyways, I don't know what sucks more, you or the vacuum.
Luigi was angered by this and decided that enough was enough.
Luigi: Time to chill-a you out!
Luigi proceeded to use the Poltergust, but it started to malfunction.
Luigi: What's-a happening?
Tails: I rigged your Poltergust to explode.
Luigi: But-a how?
Tails: I've built a TV out of paperclips and I reprogrammed a supercomputer using dishwashing detergent and a toothpick. One time, I didn't even need detergent. For you, this would've been impossible. But for me, this was Tuesday.
Luigi decided to toss it at Tails because he just didn't like him. However, Sonic used the Blue Tornado and sent Luigi into the air and he was frozen. Sonic and Tails brought out their hammers and whacked Luigi at the same time, breaking him out and hurling him into the hill and lands headfirst. Luigi proceeds to hit Tails with his hammer, but Sonic comes in the way and hits with his hammer. They both collide, but then Tails stuck Luigi's head from behind and Sonic smacked Luigi into the hill. Luigi uses the Green Missile and Tails deflects it with a Tail Swipe attack. Sonic kicks his face and Luigi starts to feel pain. Tails feels pain from his last battle. He heals up with his Medi Bot.
Tails: Sonic, cover me!
Sonic: You got it, bud.
Sonic grabbed Luigi and dragged him across the hill while Tails healed.
Tails: Alright, I'm good. I wanna finish him off.
Sonic tosses Luigi aside.
Sonic: Be my guest.
Tails grabbed Luigi's arms and grabbed Luigi's head with his tails and ripped off Luigi's head.
Sonic: That'll teach you to take our badniks.
Tails: I don't care what that green goober thinks now that he's dead.
Sonic and Tails stand in silence.
Sonic: Hey, wanna grab a celebratory chili dog?
Tails: Oh, yeah. I'm down with that!
K.O!
- Sonic and Tails joined Knuckles and all three of them ate some chili dogs.
- Peach and Daisy mourned over Mario and Luigi respectively.
Results[]
Boomstick: Talk about two for the price of one!
Wiz: It's true that Mario and Luigi have better teamwork skills. They also possess better strength, durability, and experience. However, Sonic and Tails took the edge in speed, intelligence, strategy, and versatility.
Boomstick: While Mario and Luigi's attacks can deal damage, Sonic and Tails' attacks can do that and also stun, leaving the Bros. open.
Wiz: Due to individuality, Mario and Luigi's teamwork edge and bros. attacks were kinda pointless.
Boomstick: Sonic's moves could easily counter Mario's. The Blue Tornado could counter the Mario Tornado. The Sonic Eagle could counter the Super Jump Punch and The Mario Finale was easy to dodge. But Wizard, it's not easy to dodge in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Why was Sonic able to easily dodge that?
Wiz: the reason it's not easy to dodge in Brawl is because Brawl is a 2D game. Yes, the graphics aren't all pixelated and such, but the gameplay is quite 2D. You can only move in three directions: left, right, and up. The Mario Finale would be hard to dodge in a 2D game. But in a game like Power Stone 2, it can be dodged easily.
Boomstick: Also, without his power ups, Mario was less harder to deal with.
Wiz: Plus, while they've defeated Fawful and Cakletta. The only reason they were able to do so is because of their teamwork. Without it, they'd definitely lose. Also, Sonic and Tails have experience taking on two people on their own at the same time. Such as when they fought Chaos Gamma and E-121 Phi. and once Mario was gone and Luigi had to fight both Sonic and Tails, he stood little chance in the long run.
Boomstick: Anyway you look at it, Mario and Luigi's is permanently closed.
Wiz: The winners are Sonic & Tails
