Marie is a major character in the video game, Persona 4 Golden. Initially appearing to be an amnesiac, socially inept, and heavily tsundere teenager, she forms a close bond with Yu Narukami over the course of the game as attendant of the Velvet Room. She is eventually revealed to be Kusumi-no-Okami, one of the beings responsible for the mysterious blanket of fog over the town of Inaba, but she is saved from her fate by the Investigation Team.
