Margaret Moonlight vs Ruby Rose is a What-If? Death Battle by BossViper28. It features Margaret Moonlight from the No More Heroes Series and Ruby Rose from the RWBY series.

Description

Among the huntsmen and assassins of the world, two hold title of reaper though in the end, only one will keep it.

Introduction

(*Cues: Wiz and Boomstick - Brandon Yates*)

Boomstick: For melee weapons, scythes are among the rarest. Scythes that are also Guns even less.

Wiz: But these two gothic ladies revel in that uncommon combination.

Boomstick: Like Ruby Rose, the young leader of the not-so-cleverly named Team RWBY.

Wiz: And Margaret Moonlight, the 4th ranked assassin of the United Assassins Association.

Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.

(*Cues: Sonic Smooth - No More Heroes 2*)

Wiz: In the world of No More Heroes, the assassins of the UAA, the United Assassins Association, are as deadly as they are mysterious.

Boomstick: The UAA does not care who the assassins are under their employ nor their past. They only care about one thing, how can they kill. That sounds awesome, maybe I should join?

Wiz: No. However, the UAA does rank their assassins numerically with the higher up they are in the list being how many they had killed. And listed at the number 4 in these rankings is Margaret Moonlight.

Boomstick: Margaret, as with her fellow assassins, has almost nothing about her. No background, no history, nothing. Even her name may be a lie.

Wiz: The small amount of information gathered about her is that she is the sister of one Alice Twilight...

Boomstick: The chick with lightsaber arms?

Wiz: ...and that she is one of the most dangerous assassins in the world.

(*Cues: Philistine (Instrumental) - No More Heroes 2*)

Wiz: Known as the Reaper, she is proficient in both melee and range combat. As seen in her dual weapon, the elegantly designed Le Croissant du Ange. AKA the crescent of the angel.

Boomstick: These lovely beauties are a powerful pair of modified Barrett M82 rifles that can also be used as scythes, with the tungsten alloy scythe blades growing out of the buttstock. Truly the best of both worlds.

Wiz: And even without scopes, she can hit targets from miles away with almost perfect accuracy, while using 12.7 x 99 mm hollow-point bullets in her rifles for maximum damage.

Boomstick: While using the muzzle, she will hold each rifle under her arms while firing which causes her to spin from the recoil, like a ballerina of death.

Wiz: Even without gun mode, her melee skills are nothing to scoff at either. Holding the grips of the barrels of the guns, she uses powerful slashes that send her enemies flying.

Boomstick: And if her opponent is close enough and stunned, she will launch them up in the air with her scythes where she uses the barrel to shoots them multiple times while they fall. Wow, she is truly a woman of pain.

Wiz: And good luck dodging her attacks as all her melee moves covers a wide radius. However, while Margaret does fairly damaging attacks with her melee moves, her real strength does lies in her gun mode.

Boomstick: Holy shit.

Wiz: And it is not only weapon that makes her extremely dangerous as she displays what is seems to be a supernatural power. Her ability to teleport.

Boomstick: Yep, you heard us. She can teleport by slowly fading and reappearing somewhere else, becoming literally intangible with people being able to walk through her, like a ghost.

Wiz: A ghost is a fitting comparison too as it seems that she apparently defies gravity by her floating for a short period of time while teleporting.

Boomstick: Wow. With all this abilities and that weapon, no wonder she is so high up in the UAA.

Wiz: Indeed. Even while young, being probably in her early 20's, she is already a proficient assassin with full mastery over everything she has.

Trivia

• The connections between Margaret and Ruby are that they are young-looking women with goth attire that wields a weapon that is a combination of a rifle and a scythe and are faster compared to others due to unnatural means (Margaret’s teleportation and Ruby’s semblance).
• This battle would have been in 3D.
• The original music for this battle is currently known as 'Essence of Death', referring the reaper motif that both Margaret and Ruby has. However, this song has not been finalized and may be changed. And if I decide to do this like they did with Yang VS Tifa, this battle may not even have a song.
• While still being worked on, this Ruby would be either Season 2 (like as they did with her sister in Yang VS Tifa), Season 3 or Season 4 Ruby. Any later would stomp Margaret and I want to this make a little fair.
