Description[]
Ben 10 VS Danny Phantom. Technology can be used for entertainment, but some people like to use it for self-empowerment. Who has the firewall necessary for survival?
Interlude[]
(*Cues: Wiz and Boomstick - Brandon Yates*)
Wiz: Technology can be used for many things. One of which is helping you live life as a cyborg.
Boomstick: Technology has been used by man in ways of developing all sorts of powerful weapons.
Wiz: Or it can be used to make an awesome internet show.
Boomstick: But today, two of our fighters here use technology only to upgrade themselves and they don't care who gets in the crossfire as long as they gain power.
Wiz: Malware, the tech-absorbing tyrant.
Boomstick: And Technus, the master of all things electronic and beeping. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a death battle.
Malware[]
(*Cues: Future Mal-Formed - Ben 10: Omniverse*)
Wiz: Axmuth is the greatest mind in 5 galaxies. He has created numerous powerful technology including the Omnitrix, the Retaliator Armor, and Ascalon.
Boomstick: But his coolest creations are ndoubtedly the Galvanic Mecamorphs, aka Upgrade's species.
Wiz: One day, Azmuth flew to Galvan Prime's moon, Galvan B, to do a terraforming experiment. In his experiment, Azmuth accidentally created a new race of aliens known as Galvanic Mecamorphs.
Boomstick: All of these Galvanic Mecamorphs were functional, but there was one Mecamorph who came out incomplete and corrupted.
Wiz: This was Malware, a Galvanic Mecamorph with an incomplete/broken life code. A pretty fitting name, if I do say so myself.
Boomstick: Why?
Wiz: In real life, a malware is a type of software designed to damage software and disrupt computer operations.
Boomstick: Mally wasn't real fond of the whole incomplete thing, so he captured Azmuth's assistant Albedo and flew to Galvan B.
Wiz: He forced Albedo to create a secondary helix to make his life code complete. Ben, Azmuth, and Grandpa Max went to stop him, but it was too late.
Boomstick: But don't worry, Albedo rigged it to explode. So Malware died, right? Nope. He survived.
Wiz: This experiment completed Malware's life code and left him a red Mecamorph with deadly capability.
(*Cues: Base Battle - Ben 10: Omniverse*)
Wiz: Malware posseses deadly combat potential. He's incredibly strong, quite fast, and ludicrously durable.
Boomstick: As a Galvanic Mecamorph, Malware can shoot lasers from his eye and he's got sharp claws.
Wiz: Malware also possess a unique ability. Due to having had an incomplete life code, instead of being able to merge himself with technology like other Mecamorhps, Malware has the ability to absorb technology and turn it into dust.
Boomstick: Malware has absorbed guns from the Plumbers, though he wouldn't really need them.
Wiz: Another piece of Plumber tech he's absorbed is the Proto-Tool, one of the most versatile weapons since the Morph Gun.
Boomstick: In case you forgot, the Proto-Tool can function as a: blaster, shield, sword, grappling hook, bow and arrow, tonfa, electric rope, pod launcher, net caster, auto turret, staff, and harpoon gun.
Wiz: Malware has also absorbed a Galvan jetpack that lets him travel from Galvan Prime to Galvan B. However, according to Max, this jetpack does not have light speed capability.
Boomstick: But easily the deadliest thing he's absorbed is the Tachyon Cannon.
Wiz: The Tachyon Cannon keys into the bio-signature of the target, effectively taking them apart on a sub-cellular level.
(*Cues: Plumb Crazy - Ben 10: Omniverse*)
Boomstick: Even without the Tachyon Cannon, Malware is a force to be reckoned with. He's strong enough to overpower Four Arms, who can crack statues in his earlier days, take on Cannonbolt, who can destroy stone creatures, and easily blasted Four arms through a skyscraper.
Wiz: Malware is also fast enough to dodge lasers and tag the alien XLR8, who is known to be able to go from 0 to 500 mph in 2 seconds.
Boomstick: But what really makes him hard to kill is his regeneration and durability. He's survived an attack from the Tachyon Cannon, shrugged off flames from Heatblast, and he's even survived being overloaded by the Omnitrix.
Wiz: He's managed to constantly stay a step ahead of the Plumbers, easily understand the Omnitrix, a level-20 tech device, and came close to taking over Galvan Prime. But like every supervillain, Malware does have his downsides.
Boomstick: Malware's extremely arrogant and can't escape being trapped by crystals.
Wiz: Malware is also weak to electricity due to being made of living metal. This is how he was defeated and killed by Ben's alien, Feedback. though it should be noted that it would require a large amount of power.
Boomstick: Still Wiz, you've gotta be pretty tough if the legendary Vilgax wants to use your remains for his own benefit.
Mechamorph Guard: You there! Step away from the fossil! (Malware grabs the guards and absorbs their energy)
Malware: Soon the entire Galvan race will wish they had perished along with their former predators.
Technus[]
(*Cues: Amity Park (Slide) - Nicktoons: Globs of Doom*)
Boomstick: Nicolai Technus is a ghostly scientist who was busy doing who knows what in the Ghost Zone.
Wiz: Then one day, he was freed from the Ghost Zone accidentally by Danny Fenton. At first, Technus had no ill intentions.
Boomstick: But once Danny told Technus not to take over his parents' technology to rule the world, the thought got in Technus' head and prompted him to villainy.
(*Cues: Amity Park (Boss Battle) - Nicktoons: Globs of Doom*)
Wiz: As a ghost, Technus possesses the powers of intangibility, invisibility, and flight.
Boomstick: But Technus' main power is his ability to manipulate technology.
Wiz: Technus is able to manipulate technology in different ways. He can overshadow machinery, summon devices from thin air, and upgrade himself.
Boomstick: Technus used his upgrading powers to upgrade himself further into getting a new look and a new mullet.
Wiz: This upgrade also came with his technological powers becoming enhanced. Technus' ability to summon machnies from thin air allows him to assimilate this technology into a number of different robot suits.
Boomstick: If that wasn't enough for you, Technus can also summon a lightning rod to electrocute his enemies.
Wiz: Although I question why he would need it. Thanks to his upgrade, he has now gained the ability to generate electricity from his hands. This ability has also enabled him to master a technique called the Ghost Stinger.
Boomstick: Technus can use the Ghost Stinger to release ecto-energy in the form of electricity, allowing him to damage or severely weaken an opponent.
Wiz: Technus is also able to fire ghost rays of Ecto-Energy and he can create electric ghost shields that resemble circuit boards.
Boomstick: Technus can also use his shields to entrap his enemies and electrocute them and he can even alter his physical composition into electrical wires and cords, as well as crack computer codes and transform himself into data.
Wiz: Technus is strong enough to fight on par with Danny Phantom. In his earlier days, Danny was strong enough to kick a dragon across a room so hard that it was dazed. Technus is also fast enough to keep pace with Danny, who can clock in about 112 miles per hour.
Boomstick: Technus is also incredibly tough. In his human form, he can generate force fields strong enough to restrain Danny and block his attacks.
Wiz: Technus is also incredibly skilled. He's subdued Danny in combat and used Danny and Valerie's emotions against each other to fulfill his agenda of taking over all the technology on Earth.
Boomstick: Technus is tough, but not unstoppable. Aside from specific ghost weaknesses, Technus has a habit of announcing his plans.
Wiz: Well, Technus 1.0 did. 2.0 doesn't do that anymore. However, Technus does have difficulty in hacking extremely sophisticated machines.
Boomstick: But he's still not one to underestimate. If were not for us using prep time, we would never get back our show.
Technus: Temper child. There's that emotion of yours. And emotion, whether you know it or not (Technus shocks Danny with the Ghost Stinger) is your greatest weakness!
Pre-Death Battle[]
Wiz: Alright. The combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Death Battle[]
(*Cues: Title Theme - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption*)
Technus was flying hroughout Amity Park.
Technus: Stupid Wiz. Stupid Boomstick. I used to make people fight for my amusement. Now I'm the person fighting. Alright, where's the guy I'm supposed to be fighting?
Technus went intangible and went through the floor. He ended up in a park.
Technus: Woah. I'm sensing something. It's a technology unlike anything I've ever seen.
Technus flew over to the source of technology and found Malware. Technus took out a sheet of paper and read it. It read Malware.
Technus: Hey. Is your name Malware?
Malware: Why yes it is. Who are you?
Technus: I am Technus, master of all things electronic and beeping! And apparently, you're the person I have to kill.
Technus covered his hands in Ecto-Energy.
Malware: You will suffer for your arrogance.
Malware readied into a battle stance.
Fight!
(*Cues: Real and Copy! Which are the Strongest? - Pokemon the First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back*)
Malware stretched his arm to grab Technus, but Technus created an electric ghost shield to stop Malware, electrocuting him. Technus grabbed Malware's hand and reeled it towards him. Malware shoulder-charged Technus into a tree. Technus got back up. Malware turned his Tachyon Cannon hand into the Proto-Tool and activated the grappling hook.
Technus grabbed it. Malware decided to make the master of all things electronic and beeping suffer by activating the electric rope feature of the Proto-Tool. Technus activated his Ghost Stinger and redirected the electricity back at Malware. Malware was incapacitated by the amount of electtricity. Malware got back up and activated his jetpack. He started to fly towards Technus and punched him.
(*Cues: Finish the Fight - Halo 3*)
Malware turned his hand into an energy sword and tried to slash at Technus, but he went intangible.
Technus: You can't touch this!
Technus grabbed Malware by his throat.
Technus: But this can touch you!
Technus used the Ghost Stinger, harming Malware. Malware grabbed his face and started crushing it. He then threw Technus down and stepped on Technus and threw him into a tree.
Technus: Ok, Technus. Time to stop messing around.
Technus fired a ray of Ecto-Energy, but Malware blocked it with an energy shield. Malware activated his jetpack and started blitzing Technus. Technus tried creating an Electric Ghost Shield, but was too slow and was shoulder-charged. Technus turned into data and overshadowed Malware.
Malware: What? What are you doing to me?
Technus: If I can't defeat you, maybe you can!
(*Cues: Helghan Forever: Killzone 2*)
Technus tried to take control of Malware, but was struggling to do so. Malware tried to gain control, causing him to contort all sorts of weird and confusing shapes. Technus escaped and fired electricity at Malware, but he put up an energy shield to block the electricity. Malware fired a harpoon at Technus, but he caught it, electrified it with the Ghost Stinger, and threw it back at Malware. Malware put up a shield to block.
Technus turned invisible, causing Malware to grow suspicious as to where his ectoplasmic enemy was located. Technus turned visible and grabbed Malware by the neck. The second he felt a hand on him, Malware grabbed Technus' hand and threw him to the floor. Malware activated the sword function of the Proto-Tool and attempted to slash Technus' throat, but he went intangible at the last second and went into the ground.
Technus appeared behind him and fired two blasts of Ecto-Energy from both of his hands at Malware's back. Malware turned around, angered, and started firing with his Auto-Turret option. Technus blocked using his shield and sent it towards Malware. Technus' shield entrapped Malware while electrocuting him. Malware escaped by making himself like a liquid substance.
Malware reformed himself and fired a blast of energy from his eye. The blast hit Technus' hand, causing Technus to wave his hand in pain, angering him.
Technus: Ok, that's it. No more mister nice ghost. The gloves and your life are off!
Technus started summoning appliances towards him and merged into his Technus 2.0 battlesuit.
Technus: How do you like me now! Prepare to be destroyed!
Technus threw his fists down on Malware, but Malware dodged both of them. Technus smashed his fist down on Malware and removed his fist, only to find that Malware wasn't there. Malware had attached himself to Technus' fist using his claw. Malware started absorbing Technus' armor, turning it into dust.
Technus: What? No!
Malware fired the Tachyon Cannon and obliterated Technus on a sub-cellular level.

Post-Death Battle[]
(*Cues: Training Time - Ben 10: Omniverse*)
Boomstick: That'll teach him to mess with our show!
Wiz: Malware won for a variety of reasons. His superior arsenal allowed him to adapt to Technus' abilities and his regeneration and durability made him impossible to kill.
Boomstick: Malware has regenerated from being taken apart at the sub-cellular level and being overloaded. There was no way Technus could easily put him down.
Wiz: Well, Technus was capable of exploiting Malware's weakness to electricity. However, Malware's force fields easily allowed him to survive and take on Technus' electrical assaults.
Boomstick: Plus, Malware was faster than Technus. Technus may be fast enough to keep up with Danny Phantom, but Malware is fast enough to tag XLR8.
Wiz: XLR8 is fast enough to easily go from 0 to 500 mph in 2 seconds. Danny at his fastest can reach 112 miles per hour, painting a very clear speed gap.
Boomstick: Plus, while Technus' invisibility and intangibility made him harder to hurt, it was conciously activated, and given Malware's speed advantage, Malware could easily shoot Technus at the right time.
Wiz: And Technus wasn't gonna be able to take over Malware that easily. Technus has struggled to control very advanced machinery without the interference of others. Even if he could take control of Malware, there's no way he could force Malware to kill himself at all.
Boomstick: In the end, Technus couldn't find the anti-virus necessary to delete this Malware.
Wiz: The winner is Malware.
