"Maleficent VS Charizard" is a what-if episode of Death Battle between Maleficent from Disney vs Charizard from Pokemon.

Disney vs Pokemon! It's the Mistress of Evil versus the Flame Pokemon in a battle between two fierce combatants capable of becoming stronger by transforming into black-cladded dragons.But who will be victorious?
Interlude[]
Wiz:Maleficent,the Dark Fairy and Mistress of all Evil.
Boomstick:And Charizard,Pokédex number 006 and the Fire Type Starter of the Kanto Region.
Wiz:Despite not technically being 100% of these mythical creatures,these two both possess the ability to transform into a powerful and black-cladded mythical dragon whenever they need to in when they're back against the corner.
Boomstick:However,given these two have mutiple iterations of themselves across different media,we'll be looking at Maleficent and Charizard with their peak stats and abilities to see who's the more legendary of these creatures. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz:And it's our job to analyze their weapons,armor,and skill to find out who would win...a Death Battle.
Maleficent[]
Wiz:Many legends and origins have been of how Maleficent came to be. In one timeline,she's wasn't actually the Mistress of All Evil and was scorned by fate and a man she loved and even sacrified her life to save Aurora's.
Boomstick:In another version,she's the leader of the Disney Villains' Council and seeks the power of Kingdom Hearts to gain control over all worlds alongside her evil sidekick,Pete.
Wiz:And in the Descendants timeline,where she and the other Disney Villains had evil children of their own,Maleficent and Hades had a daughter named Mal,who would eventually turn against her mother and would be her own downfall.
Boomstick:But if anything is consistent with most iterations with Maleficent is that she's a force of Darkness that is not to be trifled with and is (usually) a huge baddie in the lore of Disney.
Wiz:And Maleficent has a wide assortment of abilities and magic to back her reputation as one of the strongest Disney villains.

Boomstick:She's capable of controlling and channeling the power of multiple elements whether it be lightning,ice,air,and her favorite:Fire. Just need water and heart and Captain Planet might have a run for his money.
Wiz:Maleficent is capable of controlling and weaponizing the weather however she pleases. Whether it be creating frost storms,thunder storms,and even creating powerful gusts of wind to push her enemies away.
Boomstick:Maleficent can also fly,with and without transforming into her dragon or phoenix form as she's capable of flying,similar to how a comet is capable of moving.
Wiz:Her dragon transformation is also capable of spewing powerful green fire from her mouth and can chomp at her foes with her fangs,which have shown to be venomous along with her claws and tail.
Boomstick:She can also summon an army of plant monsters and Heartless to do the fighting for her. And Heartless in the Kingdom Hearts universe have been shown to bring entire worlds to ruins just by stealing their hearts!
Wiz:Maleficent has also shown the ability to ragdoll others with her telekinesis and can teleport herself one place to another with the use of her staff or put others to sleep via cursing them with the Sleeping Curse.
Boomstick:Maleficent can also manifest herself into smoke or use smoke and control a green mist of sorts as well as channel the power of darkness to use against her enemies.
Wiz:But because Maleficent is usually a ranged fighter doesn't mean her physicality is weak. She's capable of tanking on powerful Keyblade wielders such as Aqua,Ventus,and Sora. Sora,in particular was capable of affecting Kingdom Hearts,causing it to unleash it's power and making it go away later. It should be noted
That the existence of all worlds are tied to the Kingdom Hearts of all worlds,which are universes and there's as many as stars. And this has been shown when the Kingdom Hearts could manage its own time axis in an infinite space. While Maleficent isn't the one who usually comes out on top,even holding on own to the power of others with Keyblades is nothing to scoff at.
Boomstick:Maleficent is also a pretty swift witch as well as she is very powerful given she can generate lighting bolts from the sky and with her magic and is comparable to other evil entities such as the Evil Queen,who can react to arrows.
Wiz:But more impressively is the fact that Maleficent is capable of reacting to Keyblade users like Sora,who reacted to a beam of light coming from Xehanort and Sora has demonstrated these beams coming from Keyblades are pretty quick in nature,as shown when he fired one of his own into several stars.
Based on the number of stars that are covering up the space,which are 12,000 in total and the closest star system to Earth is Proxima Centauri,which would be 4.22 light years away from the Sun. Sora's Keyblade beam must've been traveling at 221,033,963,945.47 times faster than light!
Boomstick:Maleficent is also pretty cunning as she is combat capable,with even the three good fairies stating Maleficent is a talented magic user that knows almost everything minus good things like love.
Wiz:She's also manipulated the likes of Riku into thinking that she cared enough to help him look for Kairi and was mostly the reason for most events in the first Kingdom Heart games to occur.
Boomstick:Maleficent was capable of even helping the other Disney Villains attack Sora for her,along with her magic only truly being below highly skilled magic users like Aqua or Xehanort.
Wiz:However,Maleficent is extremely arrogant to a fault,which has ultimately led to her downfall several times.
Boomstick:Hell,most of the reasons she loses her battles is because of her looking down on her opponents and thinking less of her.
Wiz:But Maleficent's own ego and overconfidence aside,because she's well affiliated with the darkness,this makes her extremely vulnerable to light-based and holy attacks.
Boomstick:Maleficent is also vulnerable to iron as well,and if she comes into contact with it,she will become greatly weakened as it can also burn fairies like herself.
Wiz:Still,arrogant and confident in her abilities as she may Maleficent is,be warned. Because this is one dark fairy who's an exception to the rule of fairies generally being kind creatures who wish no harm and will inflict a powerful curse on you if you dare to trifle with.
Maleficent:You poor, simple fools! You think you can defeat me?! ME, the mistress of all evil!?
Charizard[]
Wiz:Starting at the region which kickstarted the Pokémon franchise in the first place is the Kanto Region. Where young Pokémon trainers inspire to be very best-
Boomstick:🎵LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS-
Wiz slaps Boomstick.
Wiz:There's a time and place for everything,Boomstick. But not now.
Boomstick:Fine. Anyways,when beginning their Pokémon journey,Professor Oak provides a young one out of three starters they could choose from. There's the Seed Pokemon,Bulbasaur,the Tiny Turtle Pokemon Squirtle,and finally the Lizard Pokemon,Charmander.
Wiz:But today we will be focusing on the Charmander line primarily,which after it reaches level 16,it evolves into Charmeleon and then when it reaches level 36,it enters it's final evolution,Charizard,the Flame Pokemon.
Boomstick:And across many iterations,Charizard has been owned by many trainers. In the anime,Ash has one that was initally a dick to him when it evolved from Charmeleon and Charizard but overtime,it became one of his strongest Fire type Pokémon in his disposal.
Wiz:Also,in the anime,Alain owns a Charizard that is capable of Mega Evolution,(more on that later) and was powerful enough to sweep an entire group of Mega Evolution Pokémon by itself.
Boomstick:In the Adventure manga,even Blue owns a Charizard of his own and could later Mega Evolve it and Leon,the champion of the Galar region,who could Gigantamax his into a literal kaiju monster.
Popup:Charizard can only access his Gigantamax form in areas that are filled with Dynamax energy such as stadiums and dens,which are exclusive in the Galar region.
Wiz:But the Charizard most well-known is the one that is owned by Red of Pallet Town. And Charizard being a fully evolved starter Pokemon,it has a varieties of moves and abilities at its disposal,with some even being outside of his typing.

Boomstick:Charizard's most iconic move is his Flamethrower,which is so hot it's capable of melting entire bolders and can even melt mountains at its hottest!
Wiz:But his Flamethrower isn't his only attack he release from his mouth. With Dragon Breath,Charizard can release a powerful gust that has a chance of paralyzing his foe. With his Fire Blast,he can shoot a star-shaped fire blast more stronger than his regular Flamethrower. With Heat Wave,Charizard can release a powerful heated breath that can inflict burns.
Boomstick:Charizard also has methods of increasing his stats to make himself stronger,too. With Dragon Dance,Charizard does a mystical dance that raises strength and speed,Belly Drum maximizes Charizard's physical attack at the cost of half of it's HP,Work Up boosts physical and special attack at the same time,and Double Team raises Charizard's ability to avoid attacks,as well as make fake duplicates for misdirection.
Wiz:Hyper Beam let's Charizard harness a powerful beam of energy from his both with its maximum power and Giga Impact makes Charizard charge into it's target with his full power. However,these moves leave Charizard tired and left to recharge for a couple of turns.
Boomstick:With Roost,Charizard can health any damage it's taken during battle and replenish some of his health and Rest let's Charizard fall asleep but fully restoring his health back 100% but making him sleep for a while.
Wiz:Fire Spin causes Charizard's target to be trapped in a fierce vortex of fire for four to five turns,Toxic and Will-O-Wisp place a poison or burn effect on whoever gets hit by it,Protect lets Charizard...protect himself from attacks,break barriers such as Light Screen or Reflect with Brick Break,rampage his enemies with Outrage at the cost of confusion,and cloak himself in fire and ram into foes at the cost of recoil damage.
Boomstick:With Swift,Charizard can send a flurry of stars that ignore accuracy,making them nearly undodgable. Ancient Power causes Charizard to hurl boulders that are prehistoric that also have the rare chance to raise all of his stats at once.
Wiz:Charizard can attack with a blade of air that can slice even the sky and causes targets to flinch using Air Slash,Hurricane raps up all of Charizard's opponents that reaches the sky and can possibly confuse his targets,Seismic Toss allows Charizard to throw his enemies around using gravity,and Sunny Day intensifies the sun for five turns,boosting the power of Fire Type moves. Charizard can also learn the most powerful Fire Type move:Blast Burn.
Boomstick:Blast Burn can cause an entire explosion to deal massive damage to whoever's in Charizard's path and causes the ground beneath the opponent to erupt. Blast Burn was so powerful that it was even capable of defeating Ash-Greninja,twice! And Fire type moves are known to not be very effective on Water Types.
Wiz:But when the bond between its trainer and Charizard is great enough or through some other circumstances,Charizard can tap into Mega Evolution and become Mega Charizard X.
Boomstick:As Mega Charizard X,Charizard gains a massive increase in all of its physical stats and loses its Flying type and becomes a Fire and Dragon type Pokémon! Yes! About time,Gamefreak!
Wiz:Mega Charizard also gains the Tough Claws ability,which increases the power of moves that make direct contact.
Boomstick:Mega Charizard X is so powerful,it can fight on par with legendary Pokémon such as Mewtwo and even defeat them.
Wiz:And Mewtwo is far above regular Pokémon and could hold it's own against Deoxys,who was capable of controlling Grand Meteor Delta in the manga with its telekinesis. Based on the planet's diameter and the distance the debris crossed,and factoring the kinetic energy and mass of the meteor,Deoxys must've been exterting well over 896.53 Zettatons of kinetic energy.
Boomstick:And Mega Charizard could even defeat Ash-Greninja in battle on multiple occasions,who almost defeated the Kalos Champion's Mega Gardevoir!
Wiz:But more impressively,Mega Charizard X could scale to and defeat Shadow Mewtwo in Pokkén,who was capable of creating his own pocket dimension of stars in his realm,which would require 1.688e63 joules of energy!
Boomstick:But just because Mega Charizard is bulky doesn't mean he isn't fast as he was able to keep up with Mewtwo,who's could keep with Deoxys' and Deoxys could travel the Earth 9.862e5 times fast than light!
Wiz:But even without his Mega Evolution,Charizard is not a Pokémon to be taken lightly as it's strong enough to fight against pseudo legendaries like Tyranitar,who could destroy entire mountains with its earthquakes. To be capable of destroying those mountains,it would require at least 3.181 Gigatons of TNT to produce such destruction.
Boomstick:But Pokémon aren't the only beings Charizard is capable of taking on and winning. He's also capable of fighting against entities like the Master Hand,who has been stated to above Dialga and even Arceus,who were capable of birthing time and creating the entire universe! And depending on your choice,could even defeat Tabuu! Who's essentially a watered down version of Doctor Manhattan but with butterfly wings of death.
Wiz:The Master Hand is also the creator of the Super Smash Bros world,which has been stated on his trophy and the Super Smash Bros has been shown to be composed of several universes and alternate timelines!
Boomstick:And since Sakurai thought that you should eliminate both light and darkness in the recent installment of Super Smash Bros,Charizard can defeat beings greater than even Master Hand like Galeem and Dharkon,who command entire armies of Master Hands and Crazy Hands!
Wiz:Charizard is also naturally a fast Pokémon and has consistently shown to be able to fight against other Pokémon who use light and can react to light attacks such as Signal Beam and given he's defeated Ash-Greninja several times,he should be around his speed. Given the distance of the Signal Beam and Ash-Greninja,and Signal Beam has been stated to be a beam of light,Ash-Greninja must've been reacting at 6.78 times faster than light.
Boomstick:Charizard has even demonstrated to be able to light in other continuities like Super Smash Bros and could scale to other fighters who could do the same such as when Google Chrome,I mean Galeem fired multiple rays of light at their direction and they could react to it.
Wiz:Considering the light comes from the galaxy and given the light travels the edge of galaxy at 4.13 seconds,this would mean the beams of light must be moving at 831,324,405,766 times faster than light.
Popup:It's also possible Galeem's light beams are even faster than that,considering they can go as far as reaching an infinite amount of timelines including seperate time periods.
Boomstick:Although most Charizards are driven by instinct,they have been shown to be intelligent when it comes to battling,being able to match Machamps,which have mastered all martial arts and Alakazams.
Wiz:However,as dangerous as Charizard is,it isn't invulnerable to a number of flaws. Being a Fire and Flying Type,Charizards are weak against Water,Electric,and 4 times weak to Rock type attacks. And while Mega Charizard X loses its Water and Electric weaknesses,it becomes weak against Ground and other Dragon types,along with still retaining its Rock weakness although not by 4 times.
Boomstick:Charizards can also tend to be rather aggressive and easy to provoke,along with being stubborn to the point where they believe nothing can match their strength to the point of being overconfident.
Wiz:Also,if the flame on Charizard's tail goes out,it will die though considering not even water could truly dose,that is a tough demand.
Boomstick:Still,even with it's huge weakness to being attacked by literal rocks and not truly being a Dragon Type,Charizard are still loyal Pokémon to have on your time so long as you don't mistreat and take care of it well,the Flame Pokémon of the Kanto Region is one starter you don't mess with.
Ash:Ok,Charizard,I choose you!
Ash throws Charizard's Pokéball and Charizard appears.
Charizard then roars,which creates a vibration across the entire stadium and blows some wind.
Fight[]
In the Forbidden Mountain,a range of mountains with a crumbling castle,decorated with menancing statues,ruined and decaying architecture where the sky was usually dark and gloomy.
That's at least how the person who owned this land liked it at least.
Outside of this dark castle was a certain orange colored Pokémon with wings and a flame on its tail,walking on the bridge that lead to this creepy place. This was Charizard,the Flame Pokémon.
However,a portal of darkness then opened behind Charizard and it was none other than the owner of this castle,the Evil Fairy herself,Maleficent.
Maleficent:Hmm,it seems like I have an uninvited guest. State your business on my territory or be disintegrated.
Charizard then roars in anger and as his way of speaking since Pokémon (with a few exceptions) are incapable of knowing speech at Maleficent before shooting a Flame Burst at Maleficent's direction,only for Maleficent to move her head to the left,causing the bursting flame to hit the floor far from,creating a minor flame that was gone soon after.
Maleficent:Reckless brute,do you know who you're dealing with?! You think you can defeat me?! ME,the mistress of all evil?!
Charizard then growls angrily,not liking who he was going to have to defend himself against although part of Charizard was also anticipating this confrontation as well,given the fact this dark witch looked very powerful and Charizards liked challenging strong opponents. Perhaps,this force of evil could promise?
FIGHT!
Charizard and Maleficent then charged at each other at full speed,Charizard coming in close with a Slash and slashed at Maleficent with his claws,only for Maleficent to react left and right.
Charizard continues to use Slash multiple times,Maleficent chuckling at this beast's futile attempts at hitting her as she continued to react.
Maleficent:How predictable. Your attacks are as readable as a book.
Maleficent then struck Charizard's snout with her staff before thrusting her staff into Charizard's chest,knocking him back far but Charizard quickly recovered and used Flamethrower,releasing a stream of fire at Maleficent who countered with Ignite,causing their stream of fire to clash,only for Maleficent to end up covered in smoke,coughing.
Charizard then began to spread his wings and flies towards Maleficent with Wing Attack,hitting Maleficent in her left arm,causing a minor cut on her arm to spill blood on the ground before Maleficent's wound started to heal slowly and Maleficent noticed Charizard was flying in the air and Maleficent then noticed,he was sending several prehistoric boulders at her direction with Ancient Power,only for Maleficent to counter by using Dark Firaga,destroying the boulders and passing through them,then homing in on Charizard,hitting him several times.
Although the Dark Firaga wasn't very effective since Charizard was a Fire type,it did still however manage to overwhelm him and leaving Charizard open for Maleficent to surrond him in green energy,using telekinesis to then grab the Fire Starter and slam him up and down on the bottom of the bridge,creating a crack until Maleficent then pulled Charizard towards her with her telekinesis.
Maleficent:Your efforts and futile attempts at hurting me are amusing to see,beast. But still,you're just a wild animal compared to me-AGH!
Charizard then used Growl,causing Maleficent to hold her non-existent ears as her attack was now lowered and Charizard then used Dragon Dance,now being freed from Maleficent's grasp,boosting his attack and speed by one stage.
Suddenly,a green mist began to surrond the area and Charizard was suprised to hear a sinister laugh and Maleficent's voice then after,making Charizard sweat dropped just a bit but he wasn't afraid.
Maleficent: I know what I'll be feasting on tonight:FRIED LIZARD.
Maleficent was revealed to be in the air,her Phoenix wings on her back allowing her flight,before Charizard then flew towards with Will-O-Wisp,firing bluish flames to try and burn Maleficent however Maleficent grinned confidenly.
Maleficent:Such pathetic embers! Meteors of heaven,unleash thy fury!
Maleficent then unleashed a giant storm of blue flames towards Charizard's path,which counter the Will-O-Wisp's flame and overpowered them,Charizard then dodged a couple of Maleficent's meteors until one sent him down but Charizard wasn't giving him and held onto with his bare hands,feet buried on the ground. Charizard grumbled,due to how heavy the blue flame orb that was Maleficent's Meteor really was.
Maleficent:It is pointless to resist. Surrender and perhaps I will make your demise swift,beast!
But Charizard refused to give into Maleficent's demands and eventually,managed to toss the Meteor upwards into the sky,causing it to disperse.
Maleficent:A slow and painful death for you then,you bullheaded fool! Stand with me now!
Suddenly,Maleficent's Forest Army rose from the ground to fight by her side and Border Guards,Bush Juggernauts,and a Forest Dragon soon were summoned and began to charge at Charizard.
Charizard then began to use Double Team,creating illusionary copies of himself,boosting his evasiveness and causing the Border Guards to throw their spears at Charizard,only to hit the fake copies instead and Charizard then used Flamethrower down below at them,causing them to be burnt by the intensity of Charizard's fire.
Maleficent:Oh,I don't think you're going anywhere.
However,Charizard was then tugged by Maleficent's thorns,dragging Charizard downwards and allowing the Bush Juggernauts to proceed to beat on Charizard,causing the Flame Pokémon to growl in pain as he was being ambushed and being bludgeon by their hammers,causing Charizard to struggle to get up until the Flame on Charizard's tail grew bigger than ever as Charizard's Blaze ability soon activated,powering up Charizard's Fire Type moves.
Charizard then takes advantage of this and uses Mystical Fire,causing Charizard to breath a special,hot fire that begins to easily mow down the Bush Juggernauts.
The Forest Dragon then lunged forward at Charizard,only for Charizard to fly towards it with a boosted Flame Charge,only for the giant grass dragon to be reduced to ash and Charizard to raise his speed again.
Charizard appeared to be worn out and tired by all the damage he had been taking while Maleficent had been watching Charizard wear itself down.
Maleficent:You look a bit tired from doing battle with my Forest Army,Hamilton. However,I'm still unhurt so unless you...wait,what are you doing?
Charizard then used Roost twice,restoring his health and healing any damage it had taken previously against that army of plant monsters.
Maleficent:Healing yourself from all the fighting my troops and you were in engage in? Well,that's just ruins everything doesn't it-
Charizard then went for a Mega Punch on Maleficent only for her to quickly teleport from Charizard's attack and then emitted electricity from her staff,only for Charizard to use Protect,guarding the Fire/Flying type from the Dark Fairy's Thunder.
Maleficent then began to manipulate the weather,creating a powerful frost storm and causing a massive change in the atmosphere,creating a powerful breeze of cold that was pushing Charizard back,and freezing him slowly.
Maleficent:I wonder how long your fire will stay lit under the conditions of a frost storm!
However,Charizard then countered the cold's effect by using Sunny Day,intensifying the sun and melting the ice hindering him as harsh sunlight shined brightly around the area.
Maleficent:What?!
Maleficent then began to sweat from the intense sunlight that was radiating from the sky before screaming in pain as Charizard then used Heat Wave on the Disney villain,unleashing a heated breath that left burn marks on her.
Maleficent:I will not be defeated by your fire alone! Come out,my Heartless! Plunge this firedrake into darkness!
Maleficent then summoned an army of Defender and Darkball Heartless to assist her in combat as Charizard's eyes widened in shock as Maleficent then transformed into her giant Phoenix form,releasing a powerful screech at the Fire type.
Several Darkball Heartless charged at Charizard with their fangs to bite him but Charizard then used Steel Wing,hitting the Darkball Heartless with wings of steel that also boosted his defense and they were then destroyed.
Charizard then flew down and tried to cut through the Defender Heartless' with Metal Claw,coating his claws with steel to attack but their defenses were too strong and they began swinging their shields left and right in multiple directions before Phoenix Maleficent then rammed at Charizard with her head,Charizard holding her horns with his hands though due to Maleficent's size,Charizard was greatly struggling.
Maleficent:You will submit at once!!
However,have a grip on Maleficent's horns meant Charizard could use this to his advantage and soon Charizard then began to fly much higher into the sky and then used Seismic Toss,spinning Maleficent into the air before throwing Maleficent down at high speeds,causing her to crash hard to completely crumble her entire bridge and destroy all the Defender Heartless with her weight.
Charizard then began to maximize his attack with Belly Drum,cutting half of his health before using Roost to regain it back again,and then noticed green fire spewing all around the area from below as Maleficent's sinister voice could be heard.
Maleficent:Now you will face all the powers of HELL!
Suddenly,Maleficent bursted out the green flames but now in her dragon form,roaring fiercly at Charizard who roared back at this challenge.
Maleficent then swung her giant dragon arm to grab Charizard,only for the Flame Pokémon to create another Double Team,making Maleficent swing at illusionary copies of Charizard before Charizard uses Hurricane,wrapping around Maleficent in a fierce wind only for thunder to strike Charizard from behind and halt the Hurricane,being super effective since he was part Flying type and he roared in pain and Maleficent finally grabbed Charizard.
Maleficent:BEGONE!
Maleficent then threw Charizard up before smacking him away with her tail,sending him fall down below into the fog where Charizard seemingly fell to his death.
Maleficent:Annoying fire lizard...now to get my revenge on that wretched boy,that hot-headed fowl,and that clumsy simpleton!
However,Charizard's Charizardite X began to respond and created a huge burst of energy that pushed dragon Maleficent back,only to see Charizard now Mega Evolved into Mega Charizard X,who roars in power.
Maleficent then roars back at Mega Charizard X. It looks like this animal seemed to be able to unleash the inner dragon within himself like she could and Charizard's claws began to glow green as it began to use Dragon Claw.
Maleficent breathed several powerful streams of green fire from her mouth but Mega Charizard managed to dodge them and hit Dragon Maleficent with several Dragon Claws,causing Maleficent to draw blood and roar in pain.
Maleficent then sent several green homing fire balls at Charizard's direction,who countered with Swift,unleashing a flurry of stars at Maleficent's fireballs,overpowering them but flying off.
Maleficent:Pitiful! Of course an animal like yourself has terrible aim-
However,as Maleficent charged with her claws,she was immediately behind the back with the flurry of stars that she thought she avoided but immediately struck her in the back,only for Charizard to follow up with a brutal Giga Impact,charging at Maleficent with force of his power,hitting her so hard she was struck into her own castle by the force of Mega Charizard's Giga Impact,completely destroying her own castle causing it to collapse.
Mega Charizard however was completely tired from using Giga Impact,exhaling hard from all the force he needed to put into that attack and had to wait to recharge in order to move again.
However,Maleficent emerged out of the rubble that was her former kingdom,more pissed off than anything at this Pokémon for destroying her home,and noticed he was tired.
Maleficent:That was my home,you fire breathing imbecile! NOW YOU SHALL PAY FOR YOUR IMPUDENCE!!!
Dragon Maleficent then began to create several shockwaves towards Mega Charizard,stunning him and dealing damage before swinging her claws,creating a slash mark on the Fire/Dragon type's chest and kick him from behind only for him to now to be fully charged and use Dragon Tail,spiking Dragon Maleficent downwards and giving her a massive headache but she brushed it off and both kept up their aerial battle.
Charizard then releases an obscuring cloud of smoke using Smokescreen,reducing Maleficent's accuracy and clouding her vision as Charizard then appeared to have fled.
Maleficent:COME BACK AND FIGHT!!!
But Charizard wasn't planning on running and Maleficent saw a silhouette of Charizard and grinned and began to rush at it,only for it to be revealed to be a Substitute that faded.
Maleficent:WHAT?!
Mega Charizard X then punches Dragon Maleficent hard in the back with Fire Punch,breaking her spine and causing the Mistress of all Evil to cough up blood as Charizard then flew them both downward into the bottom of Forbidden Mountain as Mega Charizard X then unleashed his trump card:Blast Burn.
Mega Charizard X then caused the ground to erupt and create a powerful fiery explosion,engulfing the area in total flames. The sun still shines brightly given Sunny Day was still active and sunlight was harsh and both Maleficent and Charizard had taken massive damage.
Dragon Maleficent was covered in burn marks and was bleeding out while Mega Charizard X was pretty battle damaged himself and had a claw wound from earlier.
Dragon Maleficent then tried to breathe a powerful stream of green fire from her mouth but Mega Charizard interrupted by quickly slashing her back from behind with Shadow Claw,slicing her wings off like fruit and causing Maleficent to try and claw Charizard weakly,before Charizard reacted and then used Crunch,viciously biting into Maleficent's neck with sharp fangs. Maleficent then screams in pain as Charizard then uses his mouth to then rip off the Disney Villain's head from her body before spitting it out.
The sun continued to shine greatly around Forbidden Mountain as Mega Charizard X then roars triumphantly.

Boomstick:Geez! That's one way to dethrone an evil monarch.
Wiz:While Maleficent was definitely the more cunning and intelligent of the two fighters,along with being much more expierenced given her age and battles with skilled Keyblade wielders like Sora,Aqua,and Ventus,however Charizard was just on a whole new league of power compared to the Mistress of All Evil.
Boomstick:Comparing their usual strength,it was no contest. While Maleficent was capable of destroying entire forests and creating storms that equal the energy of a mountain,Charizard can scale to the likes of Tyranitar and Machamp,both of whom are capable of lifting moutains and destroying them much greater. And Charizard can even melt mountains with his Flamethrower!
Wiz:In order for Tyrantiar to be capable of destroying entire mountains,it would require at least 3.181 Gigatons of TNT to be capable of causing entire mountains to crumble at his feet.
Boomstick:However,finding out who was the strongest at their BEST became more shaky once we considered other different source materials like Mystery Dungeon,Super Smash Bros,and the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Wiz:However,we came to the conclusion that,even with their strongest iterations,Charizard was still the more powerful of the two regardless.
Boomstick:Sora was capable of affecting Kingdom Hearts,the entity not the game. By doing so,Sora made Kingdom Hearts unleash it's power. And the existence of all the worlds are tied to Kingdom Hearts,which have as many universes as there are stars in the sky. Maleficent being able to on par consistently with Sora should mean she should be around his level.
Wiz:However,Pokémon in the Mystery Dungeon games can keep up powerful mythical and legendary Pokémon like the Lake Trio and the Creation Trio,all of whom have shown to be capable of resetting the reality in the Pokémon world,which has an infinite number of universes and can distort space time.
Boomstick:Which was far more impressive than what Kid Keyblade was capable of. Charizard was also the faster of the two as well. Maleficent could intercept and react to Keyblade wielder's,who use and react to beams of lights from their Keyblades.
Wiz:Based on the number of stars that are covering up the space,which are 12,000 in total and the closest star system to Earth is Proxima Centauri,which would be 4.22 light years away from the Sun. Sora's Keyblade beam must've been traveling at 221,033,963,945.47 times faster than light!
However,Charizard can also react to light beams from Galeem,who's beams of light can reach up to an infinite amount of timelines,including seperate time periods,making them far more impressive in nature.
Popup:Charizard also had access to moves that could increase his strength,defense,and other stats like Work Up,Dragon Dance,Sword Dance,Belly Drum,Double Team,and Flame Charge,something Maleficent didn't have in her arsenal.
Boomstick:Yeah,but what about Maleficent's forces and army? Couldn't they slow down or wear Charizard down? Maleficent could just keep summoning her Forest Army and Heartless until Charizard was worn down enough right?
Wiz:While it is possible Maleficent's control over Heartless,who can consume entire worlds in Kingdom Hearts overtime could definitely ambush and swarm Charizard if he's not careful,Charizard's flight allowed him to make sure that wouldn't happen and given his several ranged options,an ambush was unlikely.
Popup:Charizard can and has also taken on armies of darkness before created by Dharkon and has even defeated Dharkon,who's the literal embodiment of Chaos and Darkness itself so the Heartless were likely nothing new to Charizard.
Boomstick:And as for Maleficent's Forest Army,Charizard could easily just burn through them with his Fire attacks given the Forest Army was made out of...grass. Something Charizard is super effective against.
Wiz:But Maleficent's array of magic could actually do Charizard in if he wasn't careful,specifically the Sleeping Curse and her ability to turn others into stone. The problem was,Charizard was just too quick and could fly high enough for Maleficent to even preform such underhanded tactics.
Boomstick:Heck,even the Pokédex has stated Charizard can fly close to an altitude up to 4,600 feet and despite it's aggressive mentality,Charizards usually attack by breathing and spitting fire towards their enemies' path at first,meaning Charizard also didn't have to risk getting affected by Maleficent's more "game over" spells.
Wiz:And when it came down to their forms,while Maleficent had more to work with than Charizard's Mega Evolution and were much bigger,they were kind of basic in what their capabilities were.
Boomstick:Yeah,Maleficent's giant Phoenix form was cool and all,even allowing her to match Charizard's flight capabilities but besides being a giant Phoenix,it didn't have anything else to offer.
Wiz:Maleficent's dragon form did provide her more to work with,giant size and being able to spew green fire,flight,and poisonous fangs but Mega Evolution not only increased Charizard's stats but also boosted his physical moves that make physical contact through his Tough Claws ability.
Popup:Maleficent's terrain manipulation through creating thunderstorms,frost storms,and other weather conditions could be dangerous to Charizard but Charizard can counter this through Sunny Day,which also boost the power of Fire Type moves.
Boomstick:Charizard also had moves that could also lower and mess with Maleficent's stats and inflict status effects onto her like Scary Face,Smokescreen,Growl,Toxic,Will-O-Wisp,and other attacks that could paralyze and reduce her own movement speed like Dragon Breath and Body Slam.
Wiz:Maleficent was definitely the more tactical and strategist of the two fighters,and her expierence with other skilled fighters and array of deadlier magic could do Charizard in if he wasn't careful but Charizard's greater strength,durability,speed,and varied movepool that could boost his stats and lower Maleficent's own and inflict status conditions were too much for the Disney Villain to handle.
Boomstick:I guess you can say due to the circumstances,Maleficent let it get to her head.
Wiz:The winner is Charizard.
