History[]
Makoto was a normal boy with an average family who lived an ordinary life. This would all change when he had won a lottery, allowing him to attend the world renowned Hope's Peak Academy as the Ultimate Lucky Student (Super High School Level Good Luck in Japan).
However, after a year of attendance, the outside world would be thrust into the The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, A.K.A. The Tragedy. Makoto's memory of this would be wiped however, and he along with his classmates would become trapped in Hope's Peak and forced to participate in the Killing School Life by Monokuma.
Eventually, Makoto would discover the truth of Hope's Peak, the Tragedy, and the identity of the mastermind controlling Monokuma. After besting the mastermind, he would be given the title Ultimate Hope (Super High School Level Hope in Japan). He along with the rest of the survivors of the Killing Game would escape the school and join the organization Future Foundation.
He would later participate and survive in the Final Killing Game and would also become the new headmaster of the newly reformed Hope’s Peak Academy.
