- The similarities between Buu and Collector are that both are mysterious cosmic beings with bizarre Godlike powers. Both are innocent and childlike, mostly using their powers to have fun and play games. Both were imprisoned inside spheres. Both team up with manipulative magic wielding antagonists who they would later defeat with their powers and take over as the main villain. Both are so powerful that they take over the world and force the protagonists to run away and hide. Both would befriend the weak comic relief friend of the protagonist, who then end up being the only person capable of calming them down and help reform them.
