Luz Noceda vs Haruto Soma, is a What-If Death Battle adopted by Negaboss2000. This is a fanmade Death Battle that features Luz Noceda from The Owl House and Haruto Soma from Kamen Rider Wizard.
Description[]
The Owl House vs. Kamen Rider Wizard. Two heroes who both use magic to fight evil and who both have a ton of spells up their sleeves as well. It's only a matter of seeing which of them will triumph over the other.
Intro[]
Wiz: Luz Noceda, the Good Witch of the Boiling Isles.
Boomstick: Haruto Soma, the Ring Magician Kamen Rider.
Wiz: Magic is a pretty unpredictable yet wonderful thing. It can be used in almost any situation by anyone, not just wizards or witches, for better or worse.
Boomstick: Or to use in an awesome fight like so many animes and movies, or like in this fight! Man, magic is so amazing. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win, a DEATH BATTLE!
Luz Noceda[]
Wiz: When it comes to the magic within the Disney world, there have been many examples of it.
Boomstick: Much like with Marvel, Encanto and even Star vs the Forces of Evil too. But there's one of them that stands out from all of them combined, a realm that possesses so much magical energy it's so crazy.
Wiz: And this realm is known as the Boiling Isles, a dimension where all kinds of magical beings exist upon the flesh and bones of a dead titan, the second-to-last surviving member of the titan species whom were destroyed a race of powerful entities known as the Archivists.
Boomstick: Yeah! From witches and wizards to demons and all kinds of gods. They all lived upon that huge dead body. Along with Giraffes apparently...for some reason, until they were banned and sent to our world. Why was that even a thing...?
Wiz: To be more precise, all life on the Boiling Isles evolved to wield magic for years, using it freely without end. Though leaks of the Boiling Isles had caused so many mysterious happenings all over Earth.
Boomstick: But one thing that came through changed everything: Humans. Yep, that's right, humans entered the isles, though unfortunately, this was during the late 1500s or early 1600, you know, the times when we thought witches were evil?
Wiz: Yeah, apparently two humans were the first ever humans to ever set foot in the boiling isles. Two brothers from Connecticut, named Caleb and Philip Wittebane, who both ventured into that world to view it's wonders and secrets, though never came back out.
Boomstick: But more on that later. Cuz now we fast forward to the 21st Century where the 3rd unlikely human entered the isles. A simple teenage girl who constantly fantasises about...well fantasies, and who also wanted a way to escape the harsh realities of her life. A girl who is known, as Luz Noceda.
Wiz: Luz is a normal teenage girl who's always loved, if not obsessed, with weirdness and magic, loving the chance to edit anime clips to music, writing and making stories and constantly reads one of her favourite book series, the "Good Witch Azura".
Boomstick: She had a normal childhood, but then, like the case with any child's Disney parental figure, her father passed away because of his deadly illness, though not before he gave her the book of Azura the Good Witch. Heck, like Wiz said, she loved the book to pieces, and it made her who she is today.
Wiz: This, unfortunately, mixed with Luz's free-spirited nature, got on everyone's nerves and made her an outcast. And after one mishap, Camilla Noceda, Luz's mother, decided to send her to a summer reality check camp to try and make her get over her fantasy attatchment.
Boomstick: But the joke was on her. 'Cuz instead of doing boring stuff like balancing check books and listening to the radio, Luz followed a small owl-like creature that stole her Azura book, causing her to follow it to a portal leading to the Boiling Isles. At least my dad wasn't like Luz's mom, why didn't she just blow her off and follow her dreams like any other kid would do their strict parents?
Wiz: You know not all parents are like that, right Boomstick?
Boomstick: Uh...yeah. Most of the time anyway.
Wiz: So anyways, going through a magical door was the beginning of her greatest adventure of her own life, and especially when she first arrived on the Boiling Isles, the place with magic which she had dreamed about for years. Luz would then meet the strongest witch on the isles itself, Edalyn Clawthorne, a witch who possessed the magic portal that linked Earth to the isles, using it to take and sell human stuff to sell to everyone.
Boomstick: Yeah, all that and she was also foxy, badass and a criminal on said isles too! Imagine Stanley Pines from Gravity Falls, but make him a woman and give him magic at the same time. At first, Eda didn't like the idea of being around her, she grew fond of the kid. Heck, she even met the child of the Titan, King, and this annoying bird-tube thing named Hooty! God, that guy's so annoying as hell I-!!!
Wiz: That's what you'd use. I'd just say he's a...rather strange creature who can extend himself from the Owl House, as a building, door.
(Boomstick: mutters to himself in annoyance.)
Wiz: Anyways, after just one day and a heist, Luz became Eda's apprentice. Though it wouldn't be easy for Luz at first, since she's not a witch. Basically, all witches have a strange connection to the Boiling Isles, along with a magic bile sac attached to their hearts, which allow them to use their magic and even draw spell circles they can use to cast spells of any kind.
Boomstick: And Luz, unfortunately, didn't have any of that given her humanity and not bile sac and stuff. But that didn't stop her though as soon enough on a fateful night, she found a way to cast a circle. And that was through Glyph Magic.
Wiz: Glyph magic is basically not the usual way to use magic, but nevertheless, this is Luz's main way to use the stuff, all through Symbols, in fact similar to the three original Harry Potter games on the PC, where the symbols just appear when casting them. It's like that but different with Luz.
Boomstick: Kinda like nature on the titan just giving Luz the answer. Basically, there's four main types of Glyph magic she can use, like the Ice Glyph, which allows her to create pillars of ice for defence or shooting icicles, the Plant Glyph, allowing her to use thick and tough vines against her foes, the Fire Glyph, allowing her to set stuff on fire or burn her foes, or in my case, BLOW S*** UP!!!
Wiz: And the first Glyph she ever learned, the Light Glyph, allowing Luz to create orbs of light capable of blinding foes or just lighting up a dark room. And this is pretty fitting for her first spell as in Spanish, Luz's name means Light.
Boomstick: Also, the bigger the Glyph size is used, the more powerful the spell becomes. Heck, Luz went one step further and got creative, able to gain new ways of casting magic by combining the four glyphs into new combos. Take for example Invisibility, just as long as she can hold her breath, or Safety Hover, allowing her to break her own fall from freakishly high heights.
Wiz: Other examples include teleporting, conjuring smokescreens, healing curses, summoning water, gusts of winds, weird monster hands for some reason, but the most dangerous of them would have to be the Petrification Glyph, where all living things this one touches gets turned to stone without anyway to undo the curse.
Boomstick: Jesus...even I would use that on anyone. Well, except irredeemable monsters if I had the chance. So anyways, ever since she started living on the Boiling Isles, Luz has been on so many death-defying adventures, saving the innocent witches of the isles and its inhabitants, fighting enemies and con-artists that aren't Eda, and above all else...making friends.
Wiz: All while also attending Hexside School of Magic and Demonics eventually. And about the friend part, her first friends there were Willow Park, a master at Plant Magic, and Gus Porter, an illusion student at Hexide who's obsessed with humanity as a whole.
Boomstick: Boy...they assume things about us, I can't help but feeling how'd he would react if he found out the real uses of all those things he found.
Wiz: But of all of the friends she'd made on the isles, Luz met one of the most amazing witches who would have the best character redemption in decades, and her name is Amity Blight. A girl who has it all, wealth, good grades at Hexside etc. but is constantly pressured by her own mother, Odalia Blight, into being the best, even to the point of abuse and control on her own daughter as well.
Boomstick: Amity's life, however, changed for the better when she met Luz, an ordinary Human from Earth. Not gonna lie, she was a little rich brat at first, like Draco Malfoy if you can believe that, but little by little, she grew more friendlier around Luz until eventually...she became Luz's girlfriend, being a part of her world and leaving that bats*** crazy rich life behind her.
Wiz: The two have since then, always been there for both each other and their friends, with or without magic. And talking of which, given the dangers of the Boiling Isles, Luz has gained so much of an arsenal at her disposal to fight and defend herself, such a cloak made from witch's wool, capable of deflecting and reflecting magic, exploding potion grenades that can, well...blow stuff up as Boomstick would say.
Boomstick: Damn straight! She's also got a plastic toy sword from Earth that doesn't do anything much to be honest. But the more important thing Luz would use is a magical staff, and above all that, a palisman.
Wiz: Basically Palismen are powerful and loyal magical creatures which are sentient magic that sit atop of the magical staff and usually take the form of an animal of sorts. They contain magical essence and have magical abilities, including the ability to become wooden statues or living creatures at will.
Boomstick: The best part of that is that they can allow their user, like Luz for example, to use magic even if they have no magic. Apparently, Luz used to use Eda's magical staff and Palisman, Owlbert, the owl palisman that brought Luz here in the first place, a lot. Jeez, look at that speed! She must be traveling faster than the speed of Mach 3!
Wiz: But after successfully crafting a Palisman egg with Eda, mixed with the help of her mother to realise that she just wanted to be accepted and understood by other, Luz soon earned her own Palisman, once the egg hatched I mean. And from the egg, came the cute little Palisman called Stringbean, though she wasn't like any other Palisman. She's what's known as a Snake Shifter, and as this rare creature, Stringbean can change into any creature without any limit, whether a dragon, snake, bat, scorpion or even part cat.
Boomstick: Aw...how cute is that. Don't ya just wanna cuddle her, Wiz?!!
Wiz: Not if she isn't friendly towards you...
Boomstick: Anyways, Luz's adventures on the Boiling Isles would ultimately make her face reality eventually. And one day, it happened.
Wiz: No denying it here. There were many villains Luz had to face, many monsters she'd need to stop to save everyone. Such as Lilith Clawthorne, Eda's twin sister who cursed her at a young age due to jealousy, the consequence of which caused both to lose their magical abilities eventually after she turned good.
Boomstick: But there were others like Amity's b****-of-a-mother, Odalia Blight, the Emperor's Coven, who are brutally strict in terms of using magic, then there's a few other villains from other episodes I can't remember. But the most dangerous of them all would have to be Emperor Belos, the Emperor of the Boiling Isles and all of witchkind himself.
Wiz: Self-proclaimed more like. But getting back to it, it was long since been said that using magic freely was known as Wild Magic, that he along could also speak to the Titan itself and above all else, said he only had the right to use mixed magic. Therefore creating his coven system, restricting any knowledge on other magic and sealing every witch's potential away, petrifying wild witches who resisted his ways.
Boomstick: Which was all total bulls*** in the end! Turns out Belos wanted to kill EVERY witch on that isle like a witch hunter! Also, remember those two humans who first came to the isles earlier on? Well Belos, or rather, Philip, was one of them. That's the whole reason those humans never came back. One of them was murdered by the other and the other was a Witch Hunter who wanted to show his heroism! Holy s***, that's insane! He's no hero, he's a murderer!!! MURDERER!!!
Wiz: Ok, ok, we get it! The fact is Philip discovered, while studying the Boiling Isles as a whole, that his own brother, Caleb, fell in love with a witch, Evelyn Clawthorne, Eda's ancestor, assuming that they'd corrupted his mind with magic, ultimately resulting in killing him. Ultimately making it his mission to destroy every witch and demon on the isles to become a hero.
Boomstick: Like I said, murderer! Anyways, Belos got himself a scary-*** mask to hide his face, all so he could manipulate everyone into doing his bidding. Heck, he'd even made a deal with an entity called The Collector, y'know, they guys who destroyed the titan earlier. He made the Day of Unity, which would be a front for his mission to destroy everyone. And if that wasn't sick enough, he made a ton of clones of his dead brother. Jesus, how horrible could this get?!!
Wiz: Those clones, Boomstick, are called Grimwalkers, clones who Belos would attempt to make in attempts of gaining one who would agree with his views, all appointed the name as The Golden Guard, along with the fact that he'd see them as his nephew. And by that I mean he would have them all destroyed, only for one of them to escape his wrath.
Boomstick: Jesus, that was so insane! Thank god not everyone is as sick as that guy!
Wiz: Nevertheless, because of these events, Luz has suffered this darker part of the isles and despite still wanting to stop Belos' schemes, her personality took a sort-of shift. Especially after escaping the isles from The Collector, Luz was forced to leave many of her friends behind, like Eda, Lilith, Hooty and even King too.
Boomstick: The same wasn't said for Amity, Willow, Gus or Hunter, since they all tagged along with Luz too. Anyways, Luz didn't want anyone to make any sacrifices so she decided go do the quest alone, which made her trauma worse and worse, vowing never to go back to the Boiling Isles if it meant keeping her friends safe.
Wiz: Though because of her mother, Luz managed to get past her trauma and continue the fight to stop Belos and The Collector too. But in saving and befriending the Collector...she died in the process.
Boomstick: WHAT?!!! SHE DIED?!! THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A DISNEY SHOW!!! THIS IS-
(Boomstick immediately gets smacked in the back of the head by Wiz after he rolled his eyes in annoyance.)
Wiz: Yes...she did die...but she lived. But her death wasn't permeant. Soon enough, she met King's father, the Titan himself, who'd watched over her story and the fact that she formed a deep connection with King told him she was worthy of a greater magic. A magical form known as the Titan form.
Boomstick: F*** YES!!! LET'S GO!!! This form is everything! In this state, Luz is all-powerful, gaining the unlimited powers of The Titan himself. Oh god I want this power!
Wiz: Luz is capable of so much, able to both see and cast glyphs, stronger than any witch before her. Her strength and speed are also all maxed out, possibly proving her to be even more powerful than the other Collectors themselves. She can also fly faster than Eda as a Harpy, use Sonic Blasts like King, able to destroy anything in her way.
Boomstick: But man, Luz's best move in that form would have to be that HUGE blast she dealt to Belos that's almost like the equivalent of 10 dinosaur killing asteroids, the kind of power that can challenge even the Collector's own species themselves and, well, one of the reasons why they decided to kill 'em all.
Wiz: And given how the Collector is capable of moving the moon of the Demon World with his finger, we can only guess that he could move the Moon at a mere 12% of lightspeed. So this is all evident that Luz's titan form, despite not being able to keep it forever, that this form proved to be anything if not almighty.
Boomstick: And that's the kind of power Luz used to blast that murderer, Belos, with. Ending his reign once and for all, pushing past all her trauma, fear and everything she feared. Viva la resistance!!!
Wiz: So in the end, Luz finally lived out her dream without anyone complaining to her. She found friends on the isles, fell in love, protected both Earth and the Demon Realm from danger and could finally find a place to call home. What better ending could you wish for?
Boomstick: Nothin' else, Wiz...Luz got the best ending we could wish for.
Luz Noceda: Do not underestimate me, Belos! For I am the Good Witch Luz! Child of the Human Realm, Student of the Demon Realm and Warrior of Peace! NOW EAT THIS, SUCKA!
Haruto Soma[]
Wiz: Long ago, both science and magic existed, working in harmony with each other until civilization rose off the ground, and not in the literal sense.
Boomstick: Turns out when the modern day came around, magic faded away. And this ain't Onward we're talking about here.
Wiz: In the modern day, magic exists, and only one man is capable of using it to hold back the forces of darkness. A man known as Haruto Soma, also known as Kamen Rider Wizard.
Boomstick: When he was born, Haruto's parents passed away in a car crash, leaving him the sole survivor of his family. But somehow, despite being a baby, Haruto made himself a promise to keep his own hope alive, which saved his life during a solar eclipse that turned everyone into monsters called Phantoms.
Wiz: This occurrence was a ritual known as the Sabbath, a mass human sacrifice that, as Boomstick just mentioned, caused the birth of countless Phantoms orchestrated by the Wiseman. However, by a miracle, Haruto managed to survive it and keep his inner phantom born inside him, known as the Wizardragon, from emerging, by facing his own despair head on due to the promise he made to his parents.
Boomstick: And given this, a mysterious rider, called the White Wizard, gave Haruto the power, or in this case, the rider belt and rings he'd need to fight and hunt down Phantoms in order to save people from despair. Heck, he even got entrusted with a girl called Koyomi, who was the White Wizard's daughter. Man, talk about pickin' up magical chicks. If only I got that lucky.
Wiz: Haruto proves to be a master at acrobatics in a fight, able to avoid any attack gracefully, making him a highly skilled gymnast and aerialist too. Alongside this, Haruto is a high-levelled master at martial arts, able to fight phantoms swiftly, even without transforming.
Boomstick: No kidding, Wiz. Man...if I wasn't so big I could be able to do that cool stuff right now. Also, for unknown reasons, Haruto is so amazing at sword fighting...yeah, neither of us know how he became good at that either.
Wiz: But getting back to the most important part, Haruto is shown to possess the ability to use mana, the kind of power that allows any ringed magician to use Magic which, thanks to Wizardragon himself, lets Haruto use all kinds of magic.
Boomstick: And it's all thanks to the Wizardriver! The main source of Haruto's capabilities as Kamen Rider Wizard. Yeah, it's actually called that! Don't ask why!
Wiz: The Wizardriver is a mystical device which allows Haruto himself to use magic via the Wizard Rings, the main power source of the driver itself that take the form of jewellery, most commonly rings which is pretty obvious. They also come in two kinds, the left side for the transformation rings, and the right side to use magic rings, for performing spells, hence the existence of the shift levers upon the driver.
Boomstick: Using the left sided rings allow Haruto to transform into Kamen Rider Wizard, and he comes with the four basic elemental forms, called styles, too. Flame, Water, Land and Hurricane. Y'know, inspired by the basic four elements.
Wiz: The Flame Style, or the main form of Haruto, is a form that allows him to use the power of fire and is considered to be the most offensive and balanced of the four styles. The Hurricane Style, while weakest, gives Haruto the greatest jumping height and speed, even allowing him to hover as well in battle.
Boomstick: Then the Water Style is the weaker version of Flame Style, given how water puts out fire and all, but in this form, Haruto can run faster and move freely while underwater. And lastly, there's the Land Style, slow as hell, but the strongest of the four styles and used to beat the s*** outta any tough phantoms!
Wiz: More on the forms later though. Using the right sided rings allow Haruto to really use magic, through Magic Portals, and boy does he have an arsenal of them too, transformed or not. This includes an actual ring to activate the Wizardriver itself.
Boomstick: He can summon cool stuff with the Connect Ring, this includes his sword-like gun, the WizarSwordGun, his bike, the Machine Winger, or the Drago Timer, more on that later.
Wiz: With other rings, Haruto can also shrink himself or grow his own arms, emit bright flashes of light in dark areas, turn into liquid in Water Style, duplicate himself or his weapons, elongate a part of his body and can even disguise himself.
Boomstick: He can even use the Fall Ring to create holes for himself to fall through if he needs them or not. And then there's his capability of burrowing through the grounds in Land Style with the Drill Ring and my personal favourite: The Excite Ring, which can turn Haruto's whole body into a hulking giant to destroy ghouls. Man, I've gotta get me a wizardriver to make some magic!
(Boomstick pulls out a Wizardriver and attempts to make some magic with an ordinary ring...only for nothing to happen to his annoyance.)
Boomstick: Why isn't it working, Wiz?!
Wiz: Because that's not how it works. In fact, each Wizard Ring is crafted with Magic Stones which, without the right components, would be useless to Haruto, hence why after his caretaker, Shigeru Wajima creates them, Haruto tests them to see if they're useful.
Boomstick: Aw man...just when I thought I was gonna have a bit of fun...
Wiz: It's not all for fun and games when using magic though. As Haruto mostly uses rings to fight, like with the Kick Strike Ring, allowing him to perform his rider kick in any of the four styles and more, and defending himself with the Defend Ring from attacks, then the Bind Ring allows Wizard to restrain his opponents with six strands of mystical changes, transformed or not.
Boomstick: And when gates, another word for people with magical potential, are in despair, they create Phantoms, tearing down their subconscious-like underworld from within them, which usually causes them to crack and shatter into pieces like crazy. This is usually caused by Greater Phantoms who want to make more of them in reality, but luckily, Haruto's got a solution to save people.
Wiz: By using the Engage Wizard Ring, Haruto opens up a portal to the Gate's underworld to destroy the Phantom before it even gets a chance to emerge. And by also using the Dragorise Ring, Haruto can summon the Wizardragon, his own Phantom, to fight.
Boomstick: As you'd expect, the Wizardragon is a Phantom, but he's also got the powers of a normal dragon. Y'know, flying and breathing fire. Heck, Haruto can combine his own bike, the Machinewinger, with him, allowing the guy to go faster!
Wiz: Haruto can even have Wizardragon transform into his Strike Phase, a literal giant boot, in order to destroy the Phantom with even more power.
Boomstick: Yeah! Aside from all that, Haruto has a few companions that help him out from time to time, like Koyomi, the girl entrusted to Haruto after he gained his magic, then a policewoman called Rink, a magician fanboy called Shunpei and even Shigeru, who creates rings for Haruto.
Wiz: Though his secondary rider companion, Kosuke Nito, also called Kamen Rider Beast. Who possesses the magic to gain animal-like abilities.
Boomstick: And wouldn't ya know it? He's even got the cutest little critter companions to help him out too. This lil' guys are the Plamonsters, basically toy-like mythical animals summoned by Haruto with their own ring, and they can act on their own given the energy stored within their own rings.
Wiz: All of which have visions which can be transmitted through a crystal ball Koyomi uses to tell the problem. Yet they only have limited amounts of energy and disappear when used up.
Boomstick: First of is the Red Garuda, a bird that's used for looking at stuff from the sky, the Blue Unicorn, used to see things from the ground and dig holes in the ground for a distraction, or otherwise used to ride if you shrink yourself.
Wiz: There's also the Yellow Kraken, capable of water reconnaissance and exploration, and the Violet Golem, a primate-built giant-like familiar used for crafting rings for Haruto, especially a Wizard Ring Box for storing rings and creating a duplicate Beast Driver that can look convincing.
Boomstick: And that ain't all! Because Haruto can also have these lil' guys combined, either as a combo of three plamonsters or four of them, maybe even five if you count Beast's Plasmonster, the Green Griffin.
Wiz: Together with his companions, as well as other Ringed Wizards later on, Haruto works with them to prevent more Phantom outbreaks, showing us what he's made of. He's been able to hold his own against lightning bolts, defeat stronger foes like Greater Phantoms, The cunning Wiseman and even Kamen Rider Sorcerer and so much more.
Boomstick: And in terms of fighting, he's even broken out his weapons at the best of times, like the WizarSwordGun, as mentioned before. Basically, a sword that can also turn into a gun and can be used with the different kinds of elemental rings. Heck, opening up the hand to shake it can also activate the finish strike, also depending on the element.
Wiz: Haruto has even managed to tap into more of his mana pool, even that of Wizardragon's power, which allowed him to gain the ability to transform into more powerful versions of his styles, known as the Dragon Styles. And they also come with four different dragon finisher rings.
Boomstick: Basically, each of the Dragon Styles are kinda the same as the originals with minimal change. But as for the Land Dragon Style, the punch and kick powers are increased. But what makes those forms so much more better are the rings that come with them.
Wiz: The Special Wizard Ring can be used not just on the Flame Dragon Style, but also on the other styles as well. In Flame Dragon, Haruto can summon the Drago Skull on his chest, allowing him to perform the Dragon Breath attack. For Water Dragon, Haruto can summon the Drago Tail on his lower back to split water in half and pull off the Dragon Tail attack.
Boomstick: Hurricane Dragon gives Haruto the Drago Wings on his back, and boy do they look so awesome! Anyways, they allow him to perform the Dragon Wing attack. And boy oh boy, using the Special Ring on Land Dragon gives Haruto sick Drago Hell Claws on his arms, allowing him to cleave through anything! Why can't he have all of those at once, Wiz?!
Wiz: More on that in a moment, Boomstick. We haven't finished the other wings yet. Up next we have the Blizard Ring, compatable with only the Water Style/Dragon, that allows Haruto to use the Dragon Freeze, allowing him to freeze opponents with icy winds, the Thunder Ring that allows him to fire his attack with Wizardragon within Lightning, called Dragon Lightning, and lastly there's the Gravity Ring, allowing Haruto tofire a blast of compressed energy at enemies, levitating them or dropping them with sharp increases of gravity.
Boomstick: Heck, there's also the Drago Timer, which can allow Haruto to summon different Dragon Style clones with their respective colour, all by setting up the timer and hitting the thumb as it passes each colour. And by scanning it on the Wizardriver, he can activate the All Dragon form, where he gains all the freaking parts of Wizardragon and uses them in a badass fight! Man...where would Haruto be without his magic...?
Wiz: Indeed...because at one point, to save Beast Chimera, Wizardragon gave his life and was killed by the Phantom known as Legion, as a result, meant Haruto was unable to use his magic properly. At least, until Haruto managed to revive him after shedding a tear and creating a brand new Transformation Ring.
Boomstick: Oh my god! That thing is incredible! Why does he look like a diamond?!!
Wiz: Because it is. Using this ring allows Haruto to transform into the Infinity Style, a form whose punching power is stronger, perform bursts of blinding speeds and defences pushed to their peak, allowing Haruto to withstand against many attacks. It's also the form where Haruto can summon the Axcalibur, a powerful axe/sword hybrid which the Wizardragon transforms into.
Boomstick: Haruto can hold this bad boy in either Ax or Calibur mode, hence the name. Anyway, by tapping on the hand, Haruto can perform the Dragon Shining, making the weapon bigger and charging it with powerful mana from Wizardragon himself to slash enemies. Heck, even the Plasma Dragon Shining, a stronger version of the attack where Haruto can throw the weapon and control it's movements.
Wiz: An with the Finish Strike Ring, Haruto can become an even more powerful version of the Infinity Style and the All Dragon style combined that Haruto gains during his time in Magic Land.
Boomstick: Yeah, Haruto and Koyomi end up in a world where Magic is one with the modern day. Remember the Wizard of Oz? Well take that and make it into a Japanese kamen rider series and that's what you get.
Wiz: In this world, everyone can use magic instead of technology and instead of currency, they use mana as a replacement. Heck, when Phantoms come out to play, everyone can become Kamen Rider Mages and take them down. All of this, thanks to Kamen Rider Sorcerer, also known as Ogma, who happened to be a phantom in truth.
Boomstick: That guy tried pitting everyone in that world against Haruto and use something called the Thanatos Vessel to drain everyone of Mana and cause them to fall into despair, which would create phantoms! That sick b******! Even I wouldn't have done something so cruel!
Wiz: But luckily, Haruto still manages to regain hope and defeats Ogma, overpowering the Phantom and turning everything back to normal.
Boomstick: But later things would get darker! Like when Haruto find out that the Sabbath ritual was actually for the Wiseman, who it turns out was that White Wizard all along, trying to revive his own daughter, who was Koyomi?!! Jesus, what is it with all these guys using Koyomi's power for their own gain?!!
Wiz: Sou Fueki, as it turns out, was once a university physicist, had a wife and eventually had Koyomi, but then after his daughter died he fell into despair and eventually became the Kamen Rider White Wizard from the beginning. He made it his mission to use the Sabbath to save his daughter's life, even if that meant sacrificing millions in the process, but it was flawed and furthermore Koyomi had no memories of her past. Hence one of the reasons why he entrusted her to Haruto.
Boomstick: Later on Haruto would find an Eclipse Ring which would be stolen off him after Fueki told him it couldn't be used by him. And then he used the ring for a second Sabbath, only to have his plans foiled once again when Kamen Rider Beast released the Chimera within to save the day.
Wiz: Thereby allowing Haruto to have one last showdown with the Wiseman and even the Gremlin Phantom after that. In the process, he lost Koyomi, but gained the Hope Ring, which allowed him to finally defeat the Gremlin once and for all.
Boomstick: Thought it's what she would've wanted in order to keep millions of people from dying. Poor kid, she deserved better.
Wiz: Though he now travelled the world alone, yet with Koyomi's spirit inhabiting the Hope Ring, Haruto will never give up in a fight, even against the strongest phantom thrown at him. Just remember, there's always hope.
Haruto Soma: Magicians hate giving up. As long as you don't give up, hope will never disappear. Because I am the last hope.
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle with Magic!
Death Battle[]
The scene begins on the Boiling Isles, in Bonesborough. Luz and her girlfriend, Amity, are walking back to the Owl House while currently thinking of new ways to improve their own spell casting, all while talking about the latest novel of The Good Witch Azura. All while Stringbean and Ghost accompanied them.
Luz: No way, how did they even pull that off?!! That couldn’t be done by a normal witch, could it?
Amity: Don’t know. Just thought of it.

Trivia[]
- The main connections for both Luz and Haruto are that they both use magic to fight the forces of evil and that make the lives of people they know better.
- This matchup was done for the 5th Anniversary of The Owl House.
